Great Taste Chinese Restaurant
If your main interest is a very clean dining environment with exceptional service and great presentation, then this is the place. If flavorful food is your primary interest, then this is not the place. Neither the egg roll nor the crab Rangoon had the flavor I have loved in so many other restaurants. There were two other people with me who felt the same way about the lack of flavor. The presentation of the food was amazing. It just did not translate into the taste of the dishes. The brown sauce with my entree was good by not great. Again, it is a lack of robust flavors that make these meals meh. Be careful when adding egg roll and desert to your entree, the price increase may seem nominal but it adds up quick. Dinner for three befoe tip was $105. I think that is a lot for chinese cuisine.
Frank and his staff are absolutely amazing. The exceptional member service and quality of food are outstanding. Frank and his staff continue to remember your name, know some of your favorite dishes, and even recommend some new favorites. I'm so fortunate to have Great Taste so close to my work and home, and I consider this establishment one of my personal favorites for dine in or carry out. Thanks so much Great Taste for your fantastic and efficient service always.
Bagel Station Deli
Ordered breakfast home fries they have mush in foil where is that except able anywhere?
A small bagel shop in town. We had lox and bagel, egg sandwich, walnut cream cheese and a bagel, and coffees. The bagels were good and the coffees were great. Would recommend for breakfast and lunch.
Roman Pizza
The place is open every day until 9pm. It has decent food. The cheese pizza was pretty good but the buffalo chicken pizza is a pass. Also there is a different price for cash versus card. Two slices of pizza and a drink were $10.
I wanted to give this place a try again because it was in town. Once again, disappointing. We ordered half a pie with toppings and it was only on a 1/3 of the pie instead. The pizza was overly cheesy and soggy. To top it off, they wouldn't honor a deal since we placed the order over the phone and didn't say it at the time, even though we would only know about the deal if you went into the place....shady. Won't be returning anytime soon.
Shakou Restaurants
Probably the best sushi that we have had in the Chicago area! This restaurant is huge with two floors of indoor seating, two bars, and a roof deck where you can sit while you watch the sunset. The service was very good and friendly. We were happy with the menu, which includes many good vegetarian options. We had the special spicy tuna and eel/scallop rolls, and they were both absolutely delicious. My wife had the seaweed salad, and it was a larger portion than what is usually served at Japanese restaurants. Prices were moderate, and probably lower than expected for such amazing food and ambiance. We will definitely return here again sometime soon!
Very, very impressed by management. We had 7pm reservations mid week for the rooftop for 3 people. When we arrived, they said our table would be ready in a few minutes. 20 min later, they said it was ready and we could head up. When we got upstairs, someone else was at our table and it would be more of a wait. The manager came over and asked us to wait at the bar having drinks and appetizers on him. We got our table about 5-10 minutes later. Great sushi and service from our waitress. Then a desert was delivered as an additional apology from the manager. They went above and beyond to make things right and it was very appreciated!
Panda Asian Fusion Restaurant
SO grateful for Panda!! It is the best and safest gluten free Chinese food in the state and the owner is so so sweet and lovely too
Best Chinese in Freehold, hands down. Generous portions, friendly staff, and so much more flavor than the other local places I’ve tried. The Singapore Mei Fun is especially awesome.
Oyako Tso's Sushi and Hibachi Steakhouse
Oyako is a small place that draws large crowds. My recent visit was so crazy crowded, but mostly, it was for people waiting for Hibachi. Fortunately, we were there for their delicious sushi and chicken platter! I usually order takeout from here, but we decided to go in, and there was a table available right away for us because we didn't want hibachi. The food was delicious as usual, but the people waiting for the hibachi unfortunately stood close by and watched us eating. It was annoying, to be honest. They do have a closed off room near the pick up and register area that they may want to reconsider for a waiting area if they are going to allow people to wait inside. Otherwise, maybe extend the opening that they closed in outside for the waiters out more. Service was quick, and they were friendly.
The food is fresh and delicious. Prices are great and the atmosphere is nice. I really enjoy their Sushi as you can tell.
Soho Ramen
Can’t stop thinking about this food! So delicious and our server was delightful. Great price for how much food we got. Soup dumplings and smashed cucumbers are a must! Excited to go back and try more!
Soho Ramen in Freehold is a hidden gem! We ordered takoyaki, rainbow dumplings, soup dumplings, and the ribeye ramen, and every single item was outstanding. The takoyaki was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, with a generous topping of bonito flakes for that authentic flavor. The rainbow dumplings were a feast for the eyes and the palate, each dumpling bursting with fresh, vibrant fillings. The soup dumplings were delicate, filled with savory broth and tender meat – just incredible! But the highlight for us was the ribeye ramen. The broth was rich, deeply flavored, and the ribeye was tender, melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The atmosphere is cozy, service is fast and friendly, and you can tell they put so much care into every dish. Whether you’re a ramen fan or just looking for delicious, comforting food, Soho Ramen is a must-visit. Can’t wait to go back!
Kuay Tiew Noodles & More
Flavorful and priced similar to peers. Worth a try! I highly recommend the fried rice and pad keo mao. If you like spice, you'll likely be able to handle the medium level of spice. Service was great and I didn't have to wait long for the food. Inside was clean and there's also outside seating when weather permits.
The vibe here is unbeatable! The staff is so friendly, the food is out of this world, and their pad Thai? Absolute perfection—my go-to every time! Oh, and don’t even get me started on their Thai iced tea—it’s the most refreshing, delicious treat!
Savor Restaurant
Had my daughters’ shower at Savor in December. It was perfect. Everything from the first contact with Lisa to discuss menu selections to table arrangement. The restaurant was decorated beautiful for Christmas. The menu selection was great, many options to choose from. Food was delicious, a lot of our guests commented on how this was an amazing shower. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant, you will not be disappointed!
Found Savor through the Resy partnership with AMEX and thought to give it a try with my lovely wife. Food was excellent, prices surprisingly good. It’s BYOB and wine can be found in very close proximity. My wife and I enjoyed the eggplant stack. My wife had the lobster ravioli which was a special and I had the chicken rolatini. Both good but the lobster ravioli was easily the star of the show. Dessert was good as well. We agreed we would absolutely return here and give Savor a solid recommendation
Bobbique
WOW. This restaurant with transport you to the heart of Austin, in the best way possible. The food was spectacular and I truly do not think I have ever tasted more delicious shrimp than from here. The live music was what drew us into this place and we were beyond happy it did. The atmosphere and food were simply amazing. This place is definitely a gem💎
We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, so yesterday we finally did, and we can’t wait to go back. The pulled pork was so tasty, and so was the burger one of my sons ordered. The onion rings, pulled chicken, shrimp and appetizers were perfect too. The service was spectacular.
Gino's Pizza
Always love coming here at Gino's! :) pizza is always fresh out the oven and the staff is always so friendly and respectful! Love them there! Great food and service!
I have now been here three times and all three times the staff was rude. The pizza is pretty good though which I why I returned. But after today, I don’t intend to be back. I am surprised they are rated so highly. There are plenty of other pizzerias available with better service.
Siam Terrace
Food was phenomenal. Many vegan and vegetarian options! A must stop if you're in town and like Thai food! Pictured is Mock Duck Curry (vegan), Jasmine Tea and Fried 🍌 with 🍯!
This place was delicious!! First time in Urbana, IL. We chose this restaurant because it was mentioned in a Reddit post. We investigated on google and the pictures do not do this place justice, so I took some better photos. We ordered the red curry, the pad see mao (drunken noodles), and spicy fried rice. They were all delicious!! Service was wonderful, Thai teas were delicious and not too sweet.
