Sakura Japanese Cuisine
The moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a cozy, warm atmosphere with soft lighting and tasteful decor. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Food: The food was good. I ordered avocado roll, and tofu entree. Each dish was beautifully presented, with rich flavors. The portion sizes were generous and the prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity. Drinks: I tired the Asahi beer and was a well round lager. Service: The service was good with staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and able to make excellent recommendations. Overall: Overall, Sakura exceeded my expectations. Whether you're looking for a romantic dinner, a family gathering, or just a place to enjoy a delicious meal, I highly recommend giving this place a try.
I came in to have a meal by myself and was immediately stared down by staff like I was from another planet 🙄. Not a good start, but the food made the experience worse. Crab was pathetic and oily, the fish I ordered was bland as ever, almost as if it was taken from a local creek and cooked with no seasoning's. The sushi had to have been sitting in a fridge for most of the day because it had both mushy and hard rice pieces. I’d say I was surprised but based on the lack of hospitality and obvious prejudice, low quality is to be expected. Treat yourself and head over to Ko Fusion for some quality sushi, it’s worth the money you will inevitably lose here.
Hunan Wok III
Usually get great taste, but they were closed Monday, decided to try Hunan Wok III as it was down the road and was not disappointed. The Lunch Garlic chicken was very similar to great taste.
At first it looks a bit inconspicuous. But the food I picked up was good quality and really tasty. Fair prices! Can recommend.
China Wok
Ordered general Tsao chicken with white rice and Crab Rangoon with sweet & sour sauce. Received the entire wrong order, which leaked alllll over the bottom of the bag. Chicken was dry, the crab Rangoon was burnt and lacked flavor, and the sweet and sour sauce does not taste like sweet and sour at all. Absolutely disappointed.
I've been craving some Chinese food and decided to give this place a try (based on the reviews) since I was in town for business. The food was ok definitely nothing to brag about. I'm from NC and definitely tried much better places so I guess for locals this may be you all's best option, but definitely not the best. I've never had an egg roll this thin before which was bland. The sesame chicken was pretty good but the shrimp lo mein was lacking flavor. I only had maybe 4 shrimps which was disappointing. Overall the food needs more flavor especially for the price.
Ramsey Chinese Restaurant
Ramsey Chinese is the best Chinese food there is! We’ve been loyal customers for 20 years, it’s our regular spot. Have tried cold sesame noodles everywhere and these are the best in the biz if you like a very thick peanut sauce. Their sauces in general are on the thicker, more flavorful and sweet side. Excellent steamed pork dumplings, sesame and General Tso’s chicken, pork and shrimp dishes, beef and broccoli. So grateful for this establishment!
Been a patron here for 20+ years and it's our favorite Chinese delivery around. The selection of dishes is the standard Chinese/Chinese American cuisine offerings (at least for the NJ/NY area) and we enjoy all of the dishes. If you are looking for solid Chinese take out or delivery you won't be disappointed. Very fair prices. Reflecting on other reviews, we don't get any breaded foods so I can't speak to those menu options. Lots of vegetarian options. Throughout our entire time patronizing Ramsey Chinese, the staff have always been friendly and professional, are always quick and always get our orders right.
No.1 Chinese restaurant
The food never disappoints, the staff is so kind and always goes above and beyond. My favorite place to get Chinese food.
Take out only/pick up only. Lo mein and general tsos was on point, food came out hot and fresh. The lo mein was actually incredible. Boneless ribs had a weird seasoning for me, but they were fine. They gave us free fried wontons in our last order. Very friendly!
Burger King
I would like to thank Sandra first; she is a very kind and helpful employee working over there. Additionally, Finlay Burget King has started a new design for the building, embracing modern trends and leaving the old-fashioned style behind. The result is a charming and captivating renovated structure. You will be amazed by the food, and you can enjoy it while spending time in the building.
Pretty quick drive thru despite the line at lunchtime. Recently remodeled.
QuickChek
This is one of few locations that I don't feel welcomed walking into but the store is always clean and it's for convenience. Otherwise, it's your typical QuickChek just not overly bright or welcoming unlike other locations with more traffic.
It's a terrible place, don't even go near it, they are very sullen towards customers, the order I gave was prepared incorrectly, I went to change it, they pretended to change it, there was a hair in it, I don't recommend it!!!!
Don Pepe Peruvian
A hidden gem in downtown Freehold .The food is an amazing treat to the senses from the eyes to the mouth all fresh ingredients with amazing sauces to complement the dishes from land to sea and don't skip the chance for the National Drink of Peru. You will be met with a very professional staff in all ways, and delicious food fairly pirced.Oh don't forget the DAILY LUNCH SPECIALS what a great hidden treasure before all eyes to see. Elegantly decorated with native Peruvian charm and hospitality pls enjoy and tell all about your dinning experience.
A TASTE OF PERU - I’ve been to 2/3 locations ( freehold & jamesburg) & they have not disappointed! The atmosphere is calm and relaxed , friendly staff and amazing Peruvian cuisine! The best part is that it’s not that expensive. Recommend for a family dinner night!
Kumo Asian Restaurant
This review will be two parts. First, the 'all you can eat' trap, and second, the food quality. Any time I hear "all you can eat", my scam alarm goes off. Despite this, my friend dragged me here. Immediately, I realized the 'catch' with the ordering system. You pay a flat fee, and are able to order from a limited menu of appetizers/sushi/entrees - the catch is that you are charged EXTRA for any dish you don't completely finish. We ate everything we ordered, so this was not an issue, but it is DEFINITELY not clearly advertised beyond a vague 'please do not waste food' message on the menu. Furthermore, a la 'olive garden', your orders are deliberately slowed down in an attempt to reduce ordering. They even tried getting us to stop by placing the receipt on the table. Nice try. The portion sizes for some dishes are also HILARIOUSLY small. This is definitely a trap for the unfamiliar. We recognized it and planned our meal accordingly, thereby avoiding being 'had' by the trap- but it is there, and you should be aware. After tip and tax, it will be at least $40, so bear that in mind while ordering. The food quality varied by dish. The sushi roll was acceptable, and all the appetizers we tried were alright. That said, the hibachi dishes (beef/chicken) were hilariously small (both the size of the chunks, AND the plate size) - of course you can order as many as you want- I would recommend ordering one first to see how measly it is, and then ordering 4 or 5 to get an actual hibachi sized dish.
We bumped into this place by accident when we were on a way to sushi palace which we frequently visited. But it was worth exploring! This sushi buffet is priced right, has plenty of food, polite staff and bring you own bottle option! It’s not as crowded as sushi palace, so you are more likely to find a bigger table if you bring a large party.
China One
I ordered take out Chinese food. It was fresh, hygienic & individually prepared & enjoyed it still hot when I got home. I will order again from China One next time. But they do need to invest money with falling peeling wallpaper from the ceiling, make some of the tables & chairs more attractive to attract more customers to eat inside as well as those with take-out orders! I did not see the bathroom
Lived in Philadelphia and New York, both meccas of Chinese take out. I can say these guys are up there. New owners that took over are way better than the previous owners. Before I didnt really eat here, but these guys stepped up their game. Decent ingredients, cheapish prices and quick service. If you require more you should probably just eat at the house.
Yang Ye Fei
The food is always freshly made and made the way I asked for it Pricing is right up my alley.
WORST beef on stick and boneless ribs I've EVER had. Everything else seemed par for the course.
