Got Dumplings
Favorite place in Charlottesville to eat dumplings and ramen! The boba tea is amazing as well. I usually get the brown sugar oolong or taro boba tea.
Amazing. Pork dumplings with cold noodles, extra peanut sauce ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ had again after more than 5 years and they're as terrific as I remember
Golden Dragon Chinese Restaurant
Terrible chicken curry. Took two bites and pushed it away. Hot and sour soup was neither. Weak, no substance. Meal was served in cheap plastic takeaway containers. Used to be a good place for lunch. Not any longer.
The food was incredible, the staff treated me with lots of respect, and the interior is well designed!
China Garden
I thought it was common knowledge not to use these kind of grill brushes, or any brush with this metal in general. Regardless of how it ended up there, I'd rather the next time I order my favorite food from my favorite place that it NOT have metal pieces in it🙃. Food was super good though right before I chomped down on a piece of metal.
I'm a truck driver for Smith and Jennings construction High Point. I worked the High Point college went in here the other day for the first time for some lunch. Oh my goodness it's the best I've had and they give me tons of food. Couldn't eat it all. Will be back. And tell the world about it. You're missing out if you got need air.
Jin Jin Chinese Restaurant
First and last time. I saw a lot of great reviews so we figured to try them out. Ordered 2 chicken lo meins and dumplings. We opened the containers for the lo mein and immediately saw hair in it. No thanks.
It's primarily take-out. The food is fantastic. Portions are generous. Prices are great. The food is cooked fresh to order. The kitchen is clean too. You can't go wrong. Their service is also fantastic! They are always polite and courteous and are fast to prepare and package. They have no issues at all with special requests like "no vegetables."
Great Wall
Best food in Danville VA the taste, the flavor, and the i dont .get no better then that Chinese or.japanesecan cook so good
Food is great. Fresh majority of the time. Owners are quiet, but polite.
China & Hibachi
I have lived in this county for 10+ years & I had never eaten here until Friday night. I did order food at 8:10 p.m. ( They close @ 9 ) by phone & was told they were busy ( which I appreciated that they communicated that information. ) When I arrived to get my food, I did have to wait. Others were waiting as well. Lady apologized 𝗔 𝗹𝗼𝘁 about the wait to all of us. She was very polite. ( I'm not sure how many they have working in there either. ) All I know is the Egg Rolls ... 🥴🥴🥴🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🙌🙌🙌🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤 𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗜'𝗩𝗘 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗛𝗔𝗗!!! They were sooooo delicious. I didn't get a picture of them because we all dug in... 🤦🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤣 The food was fresh & amazing. The Orange Chicken & Shrimp Fried Rice were my favorite. & the Crab Rangoons 🤌🤌🤌✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ Y'all.... If you haven't eaten here, give it a try! I have been missing out! Only issue I did have was we were missing an item from the order 😞 but again, they were slammed & I understand that.
Food is always hot and fresh. The sauces are not overly sweet and not overly salty. Everything always seems cooked to order. The building appearance is not great but the food is great and employees are friendly. Expect to move car to the side after ordering and needing to wait on order to be brought to your car. As I mentioned it's cooked to order, and worth the wait. You can eat inside but the building is aging and atmosphere is lacking a bit of its gleem.
New Dragon Chinese Restaurant
Yall. I thought it was a joke when people told me this place was amazing. I was incredibly hesitant to order because of the location and the aesthetics of the building. Let me tell yall, do not sleep on this place. It looks terrible from the outside but has an A from DHEC for food safety - kitchen was super clean from what I could see in the front. Food was really really good! I was shocked when there was a line to pick up my food. The woman that runs the show up front is a rockstar. Quick in and out! Ordered the chicken mei fun (10/10), chicken lo mein (9/10), wonton soup (8/10) and an egg roll (8/10). Best Chinese I’ve had in a while. Do yourself a favor and give it a try! I would have posted more pictures of food but ate it before I could remember.
Delicious. Best Chinese food in the area. Road trip to Orlando from DC, and this place was our fav Asian food the past 7 days.
New Dragon
The food was not to my liking, considering the outside of the restaurant looks like a dump, with flickering lights. I ordered an 8 qt of shrimp with broccoli and I only got 4 pieces of shrimp. Which tasted rubbery. The cashier lady was very nice, and her husband made my food quickly. The bathroom and dinning area, could use more cleaning as I could see streaks on the counter tables from where they just used a rag as a quick wipe down and the floors were not maintained. Would not go back to this restaurant!
Went here today March 3rd, 2024. Ordered some pork fried rice to take home. Got home and there was a roach in my food. (It was dead) Also, had some red sauce on my rice on a few pieces, but I didn’t have any sauce with it or order any! Won’t be back.
China Wok
The bourbon chicken I ordered last night for dinner about 6:30pm. The main dish looked as if it was left over from lunch and rewarmed for my purchase, even though it looked as if it was prepared as I waited. It was like tough pellets. The egg roll was full of shredded cabbage with no other recognizable veggies, and bits that looked like FAKE BACON BITS, not real meat of any kind, and maybe red pepper flakes. The Crab Rangoon order was also simply sweetened cream cheese-like filling, with no crab noted. The steamed rice, was not white, nor fresh. There were few carrot pieces, or there noted veggies, and not much of a sauce on the bourbon chicken to give moisture to the meal. Since the rice was more brown, it stands to support the length of time the dish had been prepared and served. I will not return to this resturant at any time in the near future. I want a refund of my $16 meal, plus my $3 tip. I was being generous, will they be concerned about customer opinons?
We’ve been calling in orders for years. For a bit of time the quality was not good. We gave them some time to hear feedback and work out any issues. Very happy with the food tonight. Meat was cooked perfectly, soup was hot and rice was not undercooked. Be patient with local businesses.
Tsing Tao
I cannot tell you how much I love this restaurant. I am never disappointed. The food is ALWAYS hot and fresh. I appreciate the care put in the packaging for my delivery orders. The best place in town to eat at imo. Flavors are always on point!
The food here is awesome. I am tempted to no longer go to buffets and only seek Asain food from this location. I ordered online and did not wait long when I arrived. The food was hot, fresh, and made to order. I spent $10-15 per person. I do want to add that there's not a lot of seating inside, so it is not really a dine in type of place.
Bamboo Village Restaurant
Usually always get everything to go but this time I ate in. The server Bill was super friendly fast and professional. Best service I've had in a long time. Pho is good in its own way, it's not the normal pho with tripe and other items. I got the house pho and it was loaded with meat/shrimp and broth was really good! I would honestly eat here again just on how well I was treated even when the phones were ringing and customers were walking in.
Best egg rolls anywhere! Specialty of the house. Unlike any you have had before. They are addictive. Their egg fu young is ridiculous. The only egg fu young I have ever liked. The gravy is to die for! Love the seafood with crispy noodles. Real, full sized scallops. Portions large. Prices are very reasonable. A little hard to get to the building, but it is well worth the trip. Anytime we are in the area, it is a go-to. The luncheon menu is $9.95, enough for leftovers.
Kampo Cuisine
Came to try this new spot in Auburn. For what we ordered for two people is definitely worth the price but most importantly the food. The food definitely has flavor. We order chicken chow mein, the chicken itself had a nice hit of flavor with out the noodles and with noodles was amazing the beef chow mein was delicious too but the meat eaten by itself wasn't that flavorful but eaten with the noodles was perfect. Well, steamed white rice was not dried and cooked too perfection. The hot and sour soup and egg flower soup were good, but I think it can be better. The egg rolls were okay, but I prefer the pot stickers a lot more due to their flavor with or without the sauce provided. Overall, what you pay for is worth the amount you get. I'm definitely coming back.
This is really a hidden gem here in Auburn! You wouldn't really notice that it's a restaurant as it the place looks like a regular house in the area. Food has reasonable price but the quality and taste is really good compare to other stores who sell expensive fried rice but quality and taste doesnt match the excessive price. Egg Flower soup also tastes very nice! Good to add with rice noodles if you just want to eat soup and noodles. I'm very fond of fried rice and I tried this Pineapple Chicken Fried rice and it really tastes good! Person handed over to me my order and is very polite. Food was placed in a very secured container.
