You can experience various Korean foods. The food was delicious, especially kimchi fried rice. It's close to UCLA, so there are many places where you can see. The store was supposed to be eaten outside.

Food is great but the location is pretty busy! Definitely recommend take out or grabbing your food to go. Otherwise food was delicious and portions were great. The teriyaki sauce is delicious!

good location of the restaurant. the interior is not beautiful, plastic flowers make your restaurant look cheap and your prices are like in the most expensive restaurant. the snacks were ordinary tasty. the noodles which are considered exclusive were also ordinary. we liked the eggplant and the crab was also tasty. but the price is very expensive. the volume was also normal we were cleaned quickly everything was clean but the waiter forgot to bring my cocktail. this is a good place but it is too expensive. The music above our table was playing very loudly. We asked to turn it down and were ignored.

Fancy ambiance and location, and a good place to celebrate something, but be ready to pay up. We got some dim sum, the orange chicken, the garlic noodles and crab, as well as the tuna cigars. Everything was good, but not mind-blowing and you can definitely find as good for much cheaper. Drinks were fun and interesting. A lot of it was clearly for the show and social media Service was mostly on point, but we were sat down and promptly ignored for 15 minutes even though there weren't that many other parties

Note: We are very familiar with Indonesian food. Prices were less expensive than Simpang Asia the other Indonesian restaurant nearby- but smaller portions. Also, this was more like Indonesian comfort food- not as gourmet as the other restaurant but still tasty. We are very happy with the other Indonesian restaurant and tried this out of curiosity. Ultimately if this was the only option it would be a great one but probably will just return to the other restaurant in the future.

Perfectly homey Indonesian restaurant! Really delicious food and lovely ambiance. Actually reasonable prices for once in culver while still not skimping on quantity or quality!

You shouldn’t go if you deserve good food. Their portion is small and tastes not good. Pho soup has no taste, they might use cheap broth, herbs weren’t fresh. Fries are greasy and too much mayo. You should check the bill carefully, they charged +$5 on the menu price of each. The staff was slow. He took over 10 mins to bring water, actually he didn’t, another staff brig it. Over 15 mins to collect my cc.

WHATEVER UPU DO, DO NOT HOST A PARTY HERE. The food is good but I didn’t rate it since they ran out of food an hour before the contracted time and I didn’t get any. The event manager was trash- did not do what was talked about, difficult to find to fix issues throughout the event, and the promised floor plan that never got sent wasn’t what we talked about either. The flow was terrible since they did what they wanted. Terrible communication. When I tried to work this out, they admitted to not getting quality service but then ghosted me. The boss did not respond once to my emails to work this out. It’s too bad since the space is pretty (I didn’t get to use the pretty outside even though I had a completely buyout) due to some sprinkles of rain) and the food is good- but oh wait I didn’t get any but that’s what I heard. They are so unprofessional. What is the point of an event manager if they don’t manage things? I had to do my own research and booking for the vendors too. You can do better. DO NOT HAVE AN EVENT HERE. My event was ruined as well as my experience. I will not get it back and I was celebrating a health milestone. Not acceptable.

Another hidden gem. The food was tasty, portions large, prices reasonable. We got papaya salad which had a unique smell but tasted good. Spicy beef salad had extra tender meat and was flavorful. Green curry was rich in coconut which was an acquired taste but we liked it. And the pad thai was normal and delicious.

Service was great. The outdoor patio was really nice place to sit. The food was good and they have good lunch specials.

J Nichols Kitchen is a true gem in the West Los Angeles dining scene. Whether you’re stopping in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, this spot delivers consistently great food, warm service, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to come back again and again. One standout on the menu is their Reuben sandwich—hands down one of the best I’ve had. The corned beef is perfectly tender, the sauerkraut is just the right balance of tangy and crisp, and the Swiss cheese melts beautifully into the toasted rye bread. Every bite is packed with flavor, and it’s clear that they take pride in using high-quality ingredients. Beyond the Reuben, the entire menu is well-crafted, offering a mix of classic comfort dishes and fresh, modern takes. The service is always friendly, and whether you’re dining in or taking food to go, you can expect a great experience. If you’re looking for a reliable, delicious spot in Los Angeles with a laid-back yet elevated feel, J Nichols Kitchen is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

Stopped by here after a flight into LAX and loved the open sunny vibes of the restaurant. Really beautiful interior and great staff. Food wasn’t super cheap but plating was vibrant and food was clean and very enjoyable! Would certainly go back again if I’m in the area. Do check it out for breakfast / brunch with friends.

My first time having these cumin spiced lamb skewers on a rolling grill and I LOVED it. We ordered 25 for 3 of us, which seemed like a lot but we killed it - 15 lamb, 5 chicken, 5 chicken heart(?). Wouldn’t recommend the chicken was a bit dry. The spicy lamb is actually very spicy, but also addicting so couldn’t stop. Appreciated the refillable banchan. We had to wait about 15 min. It’s a small restaurant with limited tables and the grill doesn’t cook them very fast.

Delicious skewers! We mostly got the lamb ones but also liked the pork belly. In addition to the skewers, we got the seafood pancake and the pork dumplings. Everything was fantastic and we would definitely go back again

Food is good. Inexpensive and big portions. Clean inside. Parking on side and in the back. They have an A rating!

looks janky on the outside, but don’t let that scare you. it really is just another everyday, in-your-neighborhood American Chinese food place…cheap, big portions, tons of choices. you gonna get what you expect. 9.50 tax included for the one-entree combo. will get you through a working afternoon.

I came here to get the signiture item, the Oki Dog. I have had Oki Dogs before but at a location that is now closed. The Oki Dog is two hot dogs, pastrami, chili, and cheese sauce in a flour tortilla. Service here was very quick. I found the location to be extreamly clean. I found the Oki Dog to be even better than I remembered. My only warning to people is that Oki Dog is Cash Only. There is an ATM on the outside padio. I will be back again for more Oki Dog.

I tried the Pastrami sandwich and it was okay. However, I don't like my pastrami fried. Tried the Hawaiian Taco at the suggestion of another customer. I wasn't a fan, it was a little too bitter for me. The customer service was great and the restaurant was clean.

So at first I was going to be a Karen because the to-go containers looked a little small, but once I tasted the food I felt all of the "let me speak to the manager" leaving my body. Let me tell you that the flavors here are so on point I will definitely be coming back. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Not only was the food delicious but they really jam packed the containers with food 😂. Once I got in there I realized how densely the food was packed. The containers just gave the impression of small portions. I got spicy yellow curry with chicken and spicy shrimp fried rice. Both were really good. My only complaint would be that there wasn't more broth in the curry. I'm sure the bowls for dine-in holds more liquid. I haven't tried the pad thai or pad soon wen but those are next on the list!

Really solid Thai restaurant. Feel like a broken record but the pad Thai is great. It’s light and full of flavor not too greasy like some places. Their spicy noodles are delicious too. The service was great very attentive and fast and don’t bother you too much. Will be coming back!

IG/TT @waitfoodfirst (Replaced wokano restaurant in the mall) I really wonder if Super dumplings in the Culver City Westfield mall gets their name from being super juicy. Whether steamed or pan fried all of their dumplings had at least a spoonful of hot soup. This place is halal so all dumplings are made with beef instead of pork which I thought was unique and still super delicious. They also have your favorite Chinese dishes like super tender orange chicken and fried rice which I really enjoyed. They also have sushi dishes but that didn’t seem like the vibe so I didn’t try them~

Wonderful experience. We went as a group of friends for dinner with 3 young kids. It's a spacious place with welcoming and friendly staff. Neat and tidy, fast service, and menu items came earlier than our expectations. Food was tasty, and authentic. We ordered Orange Chicken, Beef with Broccoli, Chicken Fried Rice, Noodles, wontons and both steamed and pan fry dumplings. Their Sesame Balls were very delicious also. Corn soup was good too but didn't have any chicken in it only the broth and was served in individual sizes. For bigger groups like ours they should provide a group serving in a big bowl. Overall experience was excellent with very comfortable and properly spaced furniture. Staff was very efficient in removing empty plates and bringing in refills. We welcome a Halal Chinese restaurant in Culver City and wish them success and fame.

Better than PF Changs, at even better prices. We all chowed down after horseback riding all morning.

My review was 4 stars but my visit today sucked. They got the order wrong. The food was barely warm. The seasoning was off. The Mongolian beef was under cooked. We had to send it back and the manager had an attitude about it. She didn't even want to offer an appeasement. She also never said sorry as my 6 year old cried waiting for his dinner.
