March 2024 I hadn't really come across a Vietnamese takeaway before so this was interesting. I ordered a combination of Vietnamese prawns, meats and spring rolls served on rice with salad. It was very tasty!

I have mixed reviews about this spot. There’s a small parking lot at the top of the mini shopping complex with additional parking on the street or taking the ramp down. Service was quick, ordered online and quick pick up. Don’t forget there’s only pick up and zero dine in at this location. Ambience was clean from what I could see. Food Banh mi sandwiches were packed with tofu and chicken. both marination was good but made my stomach extremely sore after, Spicy Garlic Chicken Sandwich $11.95 Spicy Garlic Tofu Sandwich $11.95 Veggie Pho $16.50 Extra Mixed Veggies $2.25 Pho was stacked with veggies but a little bland Pork Sausage Spring Roll $0.00 Pork was extremely dry……….. I don’t think I would come back only because the sandwiches or overall food made my stomach extremely sore…..

Went for late lunch and the clear broth beef noodle soup did not disappoint! not too spicy and very satisfying with good portions of meat and greens to every bite. There is a great happy hour with 50% off beers and 20% off noodle dishes from 3-6 pm. Will definitely be back soon.

Starter, sides are interesting. Shrimp popcorn and pumpkin cake taste cute. Cold appetiser set looks better than tastes. (Beef is too dry to chew) Beef noodle: generous portion but mediocre flavour. Definitely not authentic as they should be or as I have expected Golden wonton: tastes like dumpling as the pastry is too thick Pork noodle (杂酱): a bit culturally offended that the extra hot version uses “sweet peppers”. This is not Sichuan spicy or Chongqing spicy. (I am only mentioning Chongqing as that is what they were mentioned on the LA times, displayed in store) So if you are looking for authentic flavours, not this branch for sure. But I applaud the owner to have established this spot and spread this food to more people! Well done.

Quick and friendly service. The staff is very nice and attentive. The food is great! The pricing is really affordable! I ordered two combo #2 and 2 rolls and it came out to $27. They close early so get your lunch in early. Plenty of parking and not too crowded when I got there. Will be going back for more when I crave Chinese!

Always have fresh food going out, great portions at a value price of $10 per double side combo. Food has good taste compared to others. Their orange 🍊 chicken is so delicious sweet yet crispy. I recommend, as well as barbecue chicken is good. You be your own judge. The only reason for 4stars is because occasionally the lines are too long, and sometimes chicken is soggy. I hate soggy food.

Solid neighborhood spot, with chefs that know these recipes inside out. The taste is carefully prepared without overwhelming your senses. Ingredients are fresh, and sauces a nice viscosity. The hot and sour is average but I enjoyed the overall dining experience. I had the Mongolian beef which was saucier than the traditional style but tasty. I would recommend this place and return if I’m around next time. 4.2/5 stars.

I really hate to leave a negative review because I’ve enjoyed the food here before, but this time was disappointing. I ordered takeout—orange chicken and kung pao chicken—and both dishes were far from fresh. The flavor was completely lacking, and the consistency was off, almost like the food had been cooked days ago. I ended up having to throw it out. I’m not sure if takeout is typically like this, but I won’t be coming back.

Ok, if you're looking for an authentic Chinese noodle spot, this is it! I ordered the spicy beef noodle soup, and it was perfect! I also ordered pan-fried dumplings with chicken, and they were fantastic! I like that they give you a different option other than pork. I highly recommend this place if you're a noodle fan. They also give you the option to pick from a wide variety of noodle options. So if you're in the Hollywood area, stop by this place!

Obsessed is an understatement. I haven’t tried everything on the menu (I intend to) but they really have such high quality food. My favorite is the braised beef soup (I get thick wide noodles). Do not sleep on the fried rice! one of my fav drag queens turned me onto this place (katya) and it has not disappointed me.

This is a storefront shop that also sells packaged food, such as noodles and chips. It's rather plain inside, with simple tables and paper serving ware, but very clean. I tried the murtabak (like a fried stuffed pancake) and a noodle dish that was deliciously different, with hints of lemongrass and something spicy. I really like the noodle dish, and will back to try the curries. I also had a wonderful mango lassi, which I recommend. Service was friendly, and he gave me some water while I waited.

We called and came here to try a new cuisine. We were interested in the Burmese cuisine but saw very few options available for a dinner. So we ordered 2 Thai dish. Honestly speaking I had better. It lacked flavor. I gave a 3 start because the portion size was huge compared with pricing and other restaurants. Restaurant is clean. We went to the restroom to wash our hands and the whole walkway was decked with inventory for the kitchen. It did give a weird feeling as if we will knock something down. On our way we saw the kitchen door wide open. Everything seemed to be wiped down and clean. I was confused with who will cook or will they just warm the food up. Their grocery section had different types of spices and condiments. If I lived around I would have tried some. If I am in the area I will of course give this restaurant another try.

Just got some food for a good price. 2 food combo for $10.95. I got teriyaki chicken & black pepper chicken. A cool location that you can sit down with friends and family. The service was quick and fast. The place is real clean and nice set up. I normally don’t inside at the locations but I actually felt comfortable being able to do that. Chinese food Try there new smoothies, tea & slushes they have a lot of great options. Hong Kong express is the place that you need to go check out when you can.

The food here is actually pretty good! I usually go for their Wonton soup- such a comforting meal but I recently ordered a few side orders and everything is actually delicious! The staff is also very friendly. I found my new Chinese food store!

My husband surprised me for valentine day dinner here. Our reservation was at 9pm and didn’t get seated until about 25 minutes later. Given the day it was, I could understand the challenges the restaurant was facing. The food was honestly the best part of the experience but everything else was coming apart at the seams. The staff seemed very overwhelmed. It took about 30 minutes in between each course, the first course was about 45mins to get. I could tell things were behind, even with the start of Valet. I commend everyone’s hard work tonight but I think management could have been better with controlling the flow of the busy night. I’m not saying this place wasn’t worth going too. It was. I just think tensions were really high for the evening and I could tell.

1 hour and 10 minute wait for taro chips to arrive at the table, poor table management. For the price, better service is expected. They are a "no tip restaurant" aka they charge 20% service fee tip automatically no matter what. Food was otherwise good.

Came in on a whim, the staff was very polite and attentive. The chinese broccoli with crispy pork was very good. On the spicy side (if u pick medium spice level) but it was my kind of spicy. Will come back if I'm in the area again....

Best Thai Curry we have had in a long time. I’ve tried a few places near Marina Del Rey and this one beats them all. This will be our go to spot now. I got Red Curry and my partner got Celadon Curry with the carrots and potatoes. Came with a side of jasmine rice each. We also got appetizers that were so good we forgot to take a picture. Curry’s we’re a good price and we’ll be taking half home. Very worth the price. The staff was very nice, friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was clean and not too busy on a Saturday night. If you’re thinking about stopping in, just do it.

I cannot thank enough Bella and the whole Chinois on Main team for the amazing surprise 60th birthday they helped me organize for my husband! Bella worked me over few months to finalize menu, help me find enterntainment, set up the room for the event... they did everything. All we had to do is invite our guests and show up. Everyone loved the food - 7 dfferent appetizers, each one done to perfection; main course my favorite short rib and the fried fish with bunch of sides and of course the best Chinese chicken salad in LA. They ended everything with the most beautiful platters of various desserts! We will remember this day forever and it will not have been what it was without the care and professionalism of Bella, Krassi and the whole Chinois team - from the cook that we had, to the bartender, waiters. etc. THANK YOU!

The food was unenjoyable, especially considering this is a branded restaurant. Appetizers were reminiscent of Panda Express. One of them was identical to Beijing beef. However, we were randomly served a calamari arugula salad on the house, which was possibly the best part of the dinner. For our main course, the duck was gamey and was dressed with an equally unseasoned and bitter cranberry sauce. Our final total as charged was also significantly more than what we signed off on at the restaurant. Maybe the calamari salad wasn’t on the house after all? We aren’t sure. Cannot recommend, and very regrettably will be wary of other Wolfgang Puck restaurants if the reviews and actual experience are going to be so misaligned.

First time for Burmese food. Had the grill but now thinking about it should have gone for something more traditional. Authentic style, only downside is most seating is outside and if it’s cold you’re just going to have to suck it out! The chai tea was different to the regular chai I make and drink, worth a try. Inside is a mini grocery store which has many Burmese style foods :-) Keep up the great service.

I am so thankful for my Burmese friend for introducing me to this Burmese/Indian spot. The restaurant/market is so low-key but they sell some good stuff! Parking is free on the street on Sundays, otherwise it's metered and you have to pay during the week. Dishes I ordered and liked: -lamb biryani $18. This is a filling dish that is shareable. It comes with the most tender lamb in a bed of red/orange rice. It was so flavorful. -cucumber yogurt. I am not sure if this came with the lamb, but it was soooo good. -peas & naan $6. This was my first time having peas as a dip with naan. It was surprisingly very delicious. The naan was thin and crispy. -Fish cake salad. I actually don't see it on the menu, but my friend ordered this. It came with a bowl of soup. -Myanmar chai $2 for small. This was great hot milk tea. (I didn't taste the Indian-type of chai) I love tea leaf salad, so I would want to try that next time. They have neat items in the market. Credit card/Apple Pay accepted. Bathroom is in the back.

I ordered chicken fried rice to-go from Thai Emporium, but had a chance to soak in the atmosphere while waiting. The restaurant’s dark, cozy decor creates a lovely, intimate vibe that really sets the mood. When it comes to the food, the flavors are spot on—the chicken fried rice was both tasty and bursting with authentic flavor. However, the portion size left something to be desired. For the price, I expected a more generous serving, and the small size was a bit of a disappointment. On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and attentive, which always enhances the dining experience. In summary: flavors on point, but the value for money isn’t quite there. Great ambiance and delicious food, though you’ll want to be prepared for a smaller serving than anticipated.

An intimate and cozy setting as soon as you walk in. The walls are adorned with pictures of celebrities who have dined here in the past, so I assume this place must be great! I opted for the fan favorite, pad Thai with chicken for the main course and veggie spring rolls for appetizers. I was not disappointed with either. Generous portions that are packed with flavor. The vegetables and peanuts pair well with the soft noodles. The spring rolls are golden with the right amount of crunch, and when dipped with their special sweet and sour sauce, you won't be able to stop eating! Excellent staff and very friendly service that tend to your needs. Definitely coming back here again.
