Firebelly
Was hoping for delicious Szechuan food. Instead got over priced mediocre fare. Also did not get notification that food was ready for pick up, so after 40 minutes found food had been waiting, was cold, and even less appetizing. Meh.
So glad to have this closer to Hollywood! Great food just like the original and some new awesome items.
Chinatown Express
I had been there few times and the food looks and tastes delicious, service is super fast and the girls are very friendly, portion is very decent and price is very reasonable. I had the green beans and cabbage with chicken, so delicious and the rice very tasty. Personally I really love the taste. There are few tables to enjoy the food right after being served . Highly recommend this food.
Fast and very friendly service. They pile a lot of food in for the price. Prices are very affordable. Food was great quality and fresh. I wish I had one in my neighborhood.
Sea Dragon
Got the House Special Chow Fun and Walnut Shrimp. Very Delicious. Each dish is huge so you may have to share, so bring a family member or friend with you!
Best quality price delicious all my friend and family enjoyed and love
Panda Express
Another delicious bowl of Beyond Meat Orange Chicken! When it comes to fast food, this is high quality with amazing service. No guilt from this pleasure.
The place is always busy, but the dishes and sides always seems freshly cooked because of the traffic. If they cook and wait, usually not longer than 5 minutes. My only complaint is the homeless asking for money when you are eating. I don't mind giving something, but when I'm not sitting down and trying to eat and not smell nothing aside from the food. But I can understand, this is now the norm in Los Angeles. The service is good with speed. They have parking spots in the lot.
Hong Kong Banjum
Hong Kong Banjum is the most famous Korean Chinese restaurant franchise in Korea, and it lives up to its reputation in LA as well. The food offers a consistently delicious taste, and the prices are reasonable. The tangsuyuk (sweet and sour pork) was especially tasty. Although it's self-service, the staff at the counter were very friendly and helpful, adding to the positive experience.
True Korean Chinese food. Authentic to the tee. Don’t really like the other jajangmyin places in LA. Taste is a bit lacking in the other places. I like the Stir-fried Jakangmyun here the best. Sweet n sour pork is also the best around.
New Mandarin Garden Restaurant
Been here twice. The noodles are nice. I like that you can order half&half for the chowma mein and the chachiang mein. Both are good! The seafood noodle soup is pretty good as well. But the fried shrimp is a little disappointing though.
This is a Chinese restaurant run by a Korean family. It is a small restaurant with a big menu (chicken, pork, beef, seafood, noodles, and appetizers). Our vaccination cards were meticulously checked at the door. The waitress recommended the spicy noodle soup (#17 on the menu) and dumplings. Dumplings were most excellent. The portion is huge, and they are supple - a lot of meat in a large crunchy shell. Sufficient for at least two people. The soup also comes in a huge bowl and can be shared by two people. We also ate Kung Pao chicken. Everything was excellent, and we hardly had to wait at all. We picked this place because of good reviews, and it did not disappoint.
Sunset Express
Oh G-D! An acquaintance recommended this spot. After parting ways, I was on my way home, when I saw it. I needed to pee. I would have done or said anything to use the restroom. Let me start by explaining, this establishment would've received a 1 star rating, had the woman working not have allowed me to bring my bike inside while I placed my order. I paid for the food. The I asked to use their restroom, only to be shot down. She pointed to the sign taped to the glass sneeze guard .Before leaving she handed me a cup of water, instead of just a cup that I asked for. I took a few sips of water to be polite, as I move my bike out lthe front door. When I get home I reheated the food. Because it was cold when she handed it to me at the restaurant. It tasted strange. Now I know what strange. I have been sick to my stomach for 3 days. I can't say if it was the water made me sick or the food itself. I ordered broccoli beef and teriyaki chicken with chow mein and fried rice. Indoor plumbing and my bed. My advice is don't go there . You are not allowed to use the restroom but you will certainly need a restroom soon.
Everything is dirty, employe haven’t see me for minuets but the most disgusting is food! Never eat such bed food! I never knew that the simple rice can be so bad! I guess my 2 years old kid can make it better
Shanghai Banjum
Located in the Korean Galleria Market 5 min bowl/ Shang Hai Ban Jum offers affordable comfort food the restaurant has ample seats. Although I wasn’t sure of the name – peep the receipt pic. (Guess I’ll post on both) Nonetheless the restaurant serves both Chinese and Korean food. Initially, my partner and I wanted a Chicken Teriyaki Dosirak and Crispy Mandoo but the gentleman taking my order said he didn’t have either so I quickly made the decision of what would be similar – Chicken katsu and 2 Steamed Wang Mandoo. $19 out the door, the food was enough for 3 people – We ended up taking some Katsu and a whole Mandoo home! The food came out hot honestly, this place is affordable and delicious! Would recommend them any day!
Best value in Koreatown! For the price, the quality + quantity is superb
Imperial Chopsticks
The service was wonderful, very sweet lady served us our food and even offered to make a fresh batch of vegetables for me! The food itself was delicious and cooked perfectly, and the portion was more than enough for us. Inexpensive too! I will be returning❤️
The food is not the best but not the worst. The rice is really good and I enjoyed the mushroom chicken but the serving size does not really match the price. The service is wonderful.
Kim Garden
Excellent food and kind service. They have a few seats inside and for dine-in and give you a cute tray. As I was eating, the owner kindly offered me samples of their other dishes. So good. She was so sweet, kind to every customer and she brought me ice water even though I didn’t ask. She told me that her family has owned this spot for 28 years and she took over 12 years ago. Respect. I would get the jalapeño chicken next time. Like orange chicken, with a bit of spice. Unbeatable value.
Amazing Chinese food hits the spot every time and the best prices around! Clean atmosphere and the owner is so kind. Honestly a hidden gem
Chi Dynasty
A nice place with a very welcoming host. The food wasn’t amazing but it was decent. One dish that was extremely delicious was Walnut Shrimps. The orange chicken was good but the fried rice was disappointing. Might come back for the shrimps! 😁
Prompt service. Nice and clean atmosphere. Food was good but something were missing in the taste of dishes: maybe that strong flavorfullness common in Asian kitchens. I would highlight their fried rice and butter pepper, though.
Daily China Express
Omg amazing value! If you leave anything else than 5 stars reviews, you are Karen. This restaurant they feed you! Less expensive and great portion of food. If you don't like the Asian atmosphere, don't come here. The ladies who work here give you good amount of food that you will never get anywhere else. Thanks for the food!
2 item combo with drink / bbq pork, teriyaki chicken, chow mein - 5 🌟! A shout out to my local Chinese fast food place! Daily China Express is a treasure in the middle of Los Feliz. There are very few places in the area where you can get a meal this filling, with this much protein, for the price they offer. The staff is always very friendly. The food is always fresh. And they believe in the philosophy of extra generous serving sizes. The whole meal and a drink with a 20% tip is under $15 and is my go-to whenever I need something filling and fast. I always get the bbq pork. I usually get the teriyaki chicken. They crisp the outsides of all their meats for extra flavor. They also have fantastic fried chicken, orange chicken, and beef and broccoli. I'm always very tempted to try their wonton soups, and I hear other people ordering it often. I really should give it a try someday. If you are a local or are visiting the area, stop by and support them. They stay pretty busy, but I'd be heartbroken if they had to close up.
