Good oily food, large portions, and spacious venue. Got exactly what I expected from this Chinese Restaurant, with quick service to boot. I came for a takeout lunch on Wednesday. There were 3 groups dining in and 4 folks waiting on the side. It's fairly busy, but there are still plenty of seats. I liked that there was someone at the counter at all times managing in-coming guests. This place is likely better for dining in since there are no holes for ventilation in your takeout box so the food will get soggy quickly. Would come again and possibly try dining in.

I absolutely recommend the restaurant, since I arrived I had a good impression because it was very clean, they opened the doors for me and they welcomed me very well, offering me the menu, the attention was the best compared to other restaurants, the food was excellent The rice tasted delicious, I highly recommend this restaurant, everyone is very friendly. The music was not loud, it was soft enough to eat and enjoy the delicious food.

I had a great experience at this restaurant the first time I visited. The atmosphere was lovely, and the decor was cute. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. The food was of good quality, and the menu was extensive. We ordered shrimp chow fun, baked pork chop rice, milk tea, and chicken wings, and everything was delicious. The restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of the tri-valley area, and the prices are fair. We went for lunch on a Saturday at around 12:30 pm and had to wait for about 20-25 minutes.

I came in on tea time / happy hour. They don't have specials at all. Straight up standard menu items. Food is not bad and their milk tea is on par with other HK cafe types. The interior is very roomy and clean. It's modern / old classic and is nice place to hang out if it doesn't get busy. It was pretty quiet when I was there. Surprised there aren't any customers which they should and probably no one knows about this place yet. Would suggest they do one lunch specials and tea time specials menu like how HK cafes are. The dish I had is not bad and is on par. It's worth going back to try out other dishes on their menu. Looking at their menu, it's more of a restaurant items than cafe items. Perhaps they can explore and see what other HK cafes menus servers and taylor more towards those items to match what they are trying to be. Their prices are on the higher side. Overall, it's worth trying it out.

There are better dim sum options in this area. The dishes here are a bit blend, the pineapple bun was too sweet on the inside. The royal chicken was dry, tough, and freezing (felt like it was in the freezer).

I honestly never leave reviews for restaurants but I have to for this one! I ordered the salt and pepper prawns expecting that it would be the traditional shrimp heads but nope.. it’s some other type of shrimp that has no shell or head. Also ordered the egg flower soup and for some odd reason it has zucchini in it and a pea??? I guess I will have to ask ahead of time now if my soup will have zucchini and if my shrimp will have heads. I also ordered a Hong Kong style House Combo Chow Mein and expected it to have some squid and octopus like other places I’ve ordered from before. Instead there was overcooked shrimp..Another item I ordered was the West Lake Soup, it was decent but a bit watered down, had too many clumps of egg, and the beef didn’t seem cooked all the way. One other item I ordered was the Moo Shu Wraps, I’m used to the wrap being a lot thinner and fresh. This one seems like it could possibly be a store bought tortilla wrap. The only decent thing I ordered was the Black Bean Clams! Would love if the menu was more detailed with the ingredients and have more photos of the food. It’s so hard to find a decent restaurant here in the suburbs.

We ordered chicken noodles and veg fried rice. Taste was ok, not so great. We went around 8:00pm and place was so empty over the week day. No issue for parking. Place is very small with few tables.

Absolutely love this hidden gem . My reviews are for the spice lovers, who prefers extra hot. We enjoyed our dinner. My all time favorite, sauteed lotus root. We also ordered shredded pork, green onion pancake, chicken fried rice and shrimp fried rice. Thoroughly enjoyed every bite of the lotus. My go-to when it comes to Chinese! Hot Tea is good as well, very much needed for the season.

We tried the New Moon for the first time. The food was ok but wasn't bad. The service lacks a smile and the rest is said by the lack of customers. They didn't serve us the customary tea until we asked for it. We got the garlic eggplant, string beans, mushroom mix and the kung Pao tofu. The eggplant turned out to the best. Ask for the kind of spice level you want. I do want to here one more time to give it a chance.

We've been coming here for years and enjoy the food! Our favorites are the sweet corn fish fillers which was a recommendation from a server - delicious!! The chow fun & sweet and sour pork are delicious as well.

Good Luck Dim Sum 0

Good Luck Dim Sum

This location has a wide variety of dim sum options, we’ve gone about a dozen times and still have a lot to try. There’s usually a line but it goes fast. Ask for dipping sauce and chili, they are great. There’s tables inside but the space is limited and seating is not promised. This place is a must stop anytime we’re in SF. Grab a menu while you wait and get ready to order once you get inside so you don’t hold up the line.

Best dim sum I've tasted in a long time. If you don't know what you want to order the lady behind the counter will look at you and judge. Very authentic.

delicious food and decent prices. i paid less than $35 for a cucumber salad, lamb skewers, beer, and chongqing noodles, all of which were excellent lamb was nicely seasoned and tender. cucumber salad was aromatic with cilantro and plenty of garlic and sesame oil. chongqing noodles were spicy and numbing spicy, with bok choy to soak up the flavor.

Super chill atmosphere and delicious food! The ingredients are always fresh and the broths are flavorful without being overly greasy. Lovely ambience with calm music. Not blasting, so perfect for solo lunch, a date, or a sleeping baby. Neighborhood gem.

A super welcomed addition to the neighborhood! Malatang was just what was missing around here, M Pot delivers it with fresh ingredients, flavorful broth, and reasonable pricing. The inside is well lit and decorated with some artwork, with a good amount of seats, and the service was great and efficient. There is great variety in the selection of ingredients, such as meat, mushrooms, tofu, noodles, sausages, meatballs etc. The broth is nothing out of the ordinary, just simple beef broth with your choice of non spicy, mild, medium, or super spicy, we went with the mild option and would definitely come back to try the medium or more.

Ordered Uber delivery!! Delicious Salted fish n Pork patty claypot rice. Came with free soup too !!!

They’re fast but I wish the crust was more full, good variety of clay pots. Also not all the meats were super good quality like the Chinese sausage could be better. Good that they serve with soup.

A wonderful place for top notch dim sum! Arrived 15 minutes before opening and there was a queue already waiting on. Saturday morning. Every party in line was seated when the doors opened. Nice, elegant ambiance. We were lucky to get the booth seating with nice padded benches and carved stone accents. I'm guessing it's because we made reservations in advance. Great selection of teas to order. No rolling carts, items are ordered from the menu and brought to your table. Great selection of items, from the typical traditional items to some more unique items. All were delicious, served hot fresh from the kitchen. Our favorites include the fried sea bass cubes, spinach sesame flatbread, crispy roast pork, and beef brisket stew on rice rolls. Service was excellent and attentive. The staff were fluent in both English and Chinese. We ordered a lot to sample the dishes but took the remainder home. Staff expertly packed up the food for us at the table. Well worth the trip and treat for a great meal.

expensive but amazing dim sum! all but one of the dishes were tasty and food came out quickly. if you’re willing to spend a little more to ensure good dim sum, dragon beaux is the spot. special shoutout to their homemade chilli sauce, top tier! would come again on special occasions. enjoyed: shrimp rice rolls, har gow, jumbo scallop siu mai, chicken wings, egg yolk custard bun, xlb, chinese broccoli would skip: egg tarts, pork rice rolls, chive dumplings

One of the best Szchuan taste restaurants in SF. It's spacious and well decorated. Staffs are also responsive and friendly but it may be a little short of hands during peak business hours. Highly recommend Chongqing Spicy Chicken

Food was tasty! Ordered the wood ear mushroom, eggplant, cumin lamb, and pork and pickle noodle soup. Stars were the lamb and eggplant. Service was quick and friendly. Parking is a little difficult on a Saturday evening but was able to find street parking on Geary.

A great restaurant, the food tastes very authentic! I ordered garlic ribs, Picked long bean with minced pork , beer duck, big bowl of cauliflower, and every dish was so delicious! I love it, absolutely recommend, I will come again!

Super authentic and delicious spot with funny branding. TVs had a food show going that made us even hungrier. Loved the texture of the tofu and Szechuan chicken and flavors were excellent. Not exceedingly spicy. We will definitely be back!!
