This is the second time I have come to this buffet as my first experience was bad. The service and atmosphere are great, but the food is "alright," nothing special or horrible. Honestly, the fruits and vegetables are better than the actual "meals and main foods." I don't see myself coming anytime soon, but come in if you have nothing to do or have no idea on what to eat.

My Wife, niece and I went for lunch, the waitress this day just straight ignored us, but checked on all the other tables around us. IJS! Fwbuary 20 2025 EDIT: After seeing the Owners response to my review, I gave it another shot. This time was MUCH BETTER and more welcoming! Food is always nice and hot and my server was a guy who was very attentive

I recently visited this poke spot, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from start to finish. Service: From the moment we walked in, we were not greeted. The staff member was glued to his phone and only acknowledged us once we placed our order. The ordering process itself wasn’t great either—only one kiosk was available, which slowed things down unnecessarily. When it came time to receive our order, they forgot the miso soup we had paid for, adding to the frustration. There was no acknowledgment when we arrived or when we left, making the service feel cold and unwelcoming. But I didn’t say anything today. I just left as it Food Quality: At first glance, the poke bowl looked decent, but upon closer inspection, it was a different story. The carrots were dark, and it wasn’t the sauce put on over it…and the mango pieces were an unappetizing brown. The overall texture of the bowl was off—everything felt slimy rather than fresh. I’ve had poke plenty of times, and I know what good quality should be, but this was far from it. Considering I’ve been here before and didn’t have these issues, the drop in quality was surprising and disappointing. Cleanliness: The worst part of the visit was the bathroom. It was beyond dirty, with fecal matter left on the toilet. That alone made me question the overall hygiene standards of the restaurant. Overall Rating: 1/5 Not coming back ever again

I visited Sichuan Kitchen & Poke on May 5th, 2025 at 8:40 PM, just 20 minutes before their posted closing time of 9:00 PM (as listed both online and on the front door). I simply wanted to grab a poke bowl to-go, not dine in. However, as soon as I walked in, I was met with, “Sorry, we’re closed.” I wasn’t the only customer turned away either. If the restaurant is not accepting orders 20+ minutes before closing, the owners should update their posted hours to reflect that.

Randomly found this place while I was shopping on a Saturday in the area. Decided to get lunch here. Mongolian Beef with stir fry bak choy. Super amazing and fast service. I will comeback

Yesterday my mom and I came here for lunch. I ordered the mushroom chicken with regular rice and egg drop soup. That was the first time I ever had egg soup and it was pretty good. The mushroom chicken tasted creamy without the texture of creaminess. That mushroom chicken was beyond delicious and I do not have words to describe how great it was. The mushroom chicken is a MUST. The white rice was soft unlike other establishments and the soy sauce was excellent. The spring roll was crunchy and flavorful. My mom ordered the kung Pao with fried rice, and oh boy that fried rice was scrumptious. If you are in the area it is a crime to not go in for a meal.

Exactly what I wanted. A bowl of fried rice and orange chicken. I was greeted with a smile, the bowl was filled with my request and they exchanged it for money. It was hot and tasty. The place was clean and overall I had no complaints. Way to go PE.

The employees at this joint seem to thrive in being incompetent jerks. I’ve gone there several times and every time they get my order wrong. This last time I ordered teriyaki chicken, no teriyaki sauce. Had to eat some dry azz chicken. And the worst part, the fortune cookie was very stale. Really disgusting stuff

Rice Pot in Frisco (Legacy location) may be a small space, but it’s clean, welcoming, and consistent. The service is always attentive, which makes the dining experience feel personal and appreciated. I tried the orange chicken and the sesame chicken, both were flavorful and satisfying in their own unique way. The orange chicken had a bright, citrusy glaze with a subtle kick and the perfect crisp. The sesame chicken was rich, savory, and balanced with just the right touch of sweetness. You can tell the flavors aren’t just thrown together, they’re crafted. It’s a great neighborhood spot when you're in the mood for comforting, well-seasoned food. The portions are generous, the prices fair, and the attention to detail really shines through. #HayiaSophiaFaves #RicePotFrisco #LegacyEats #SmallSpaceBigFlavor

Shrimp is FAT FAT Worth the price. Support small businesses like this!! My usual is shrimp fried rice, almost everywhere else I have gone they cheap out on the shrimp and I was pleasantly surprised that its done THE RIGHT WAY here. Shout out to the folks than run this place. Delicious!!

Ordered sesame chicken with fried rice. It was freshly cooked. Taste was normal but chicken and breading was chewy as heck. Why can’t they take pride in their food? Def not top of the line Chinese food.

Pros: - quick service - food served hot - large portions (a lot of veggies) Cons: - tables are a bit sticky - the portions are very large because there are a lot of vegetables and not that much meat Ordered the king pao and the mango chicken w fried rice and brown rice. The food while is large portions kind of just tastes like a bunch of sugary sauce and not much depth or different flavors within the vegetables or meat. Wouldn’t return or recommend though the service was quick and friendly.

Tried this place out one busy Friday night, and I'm so glad I did! Food was very delicious, chili sauce was incredible, and the portions were awesome. Will be ordering again in the future!

Horrible delivery driver and horrible food. Everything is either rancid and sour or bland or/and no seasoning. Waste of $90.

Nice little place close to the interstate. Food was hot and yummy - especially the cheese rangoons.

I was doing a little riding and ended up here. The salmon was a tad bit too salty and cooked a little longer than I prefer, but still enjoyed the flavor of the meal. My broccoli was cold though. Not warm. Not lukewarm. Cold. So, I assume it was already put in the container while cooking the salmon which sitting there would become cold. The veggie egg rolls were pretty solid & I really liked the Passion Fruit Tea. I asked for onions to be added to my fried rice and they said no. No problem. What I really didn't appreciate was that the chefs/owners both came from the back several times, looked me in the face each time and did NOT acknowledge me whatsoever. I literally was the only one dined-in at that time. Anyone else that came in was there for pick-up. That being said, one of the regulars came in for pick-up (I'll keep race out of it 😉) and they had a full blown convo. 🤔 The son, however, was very nice, professional & apologetic for the broccoli being cold and I appreciate that! Lastly, the condiments on the tables need to be cleaned and changed out. It's highly unsanitary leaving plasticware in the chili oil especially if it's not going to be changed often, or at all. I can tell it's been sitting in there for quite some time. Ok Howe... this is my first experience of the town. Hoping for the best going fwd! 🤞🏽 In the meantime, be careful who you look past/down upon. You never know who's walking into your establishment. 😏

I absolutely love a good fried rice. I get mines extra shrimp with vegetables. One of my best entrees in Hopkins County. With 2 egg rolls. PS. Spaghetti is a side dish!

Had dinner at this place. The food was average, nothing to really write home about. The only drinks they have are soft drinks or iced tea in bottles. They don't seem to have any ice in the place. Everything is served and throw away Packaging. Definitely not impressed, I probably will not return

Their food is good. We were the only ones inside the place, but we came in the middle of the afternoon (245pm). The host / waiter was very solum. He was prompt with order, bring food / drinks. Just not very social or welcoming. Not rude, just didn't smile or say much. Plain atmosphere. Will return because they do make good General Tso Chicken.

PORTIONS... I recently visited Star Asian Cafe and was blown away by the quality of the food and the service. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and the staff is very friendly and attentive (Thank you Marina). I ordered the general TSO chicken and it was delicious. The rice was a good addition and the sauce was flavorful without being too spicy. I also tried the egg drop soup and it was fresh and delicious. Overall, I highly recommend Star Asian Cafe to anyone looking for great Asian cuisine in the area." hope this helps! I apologize for the photo the food was too good I couldn't help myself!

To-go order. First time trying it and it was delicious! The portions are fair for the price! Got the chicken and broccoli with steamed rice, (combo comes with eggroll. The sweet and sour sauce was 🤤!) General tso chicken with fried rice, kung pao chicken with steamed rice, and a side order of plain lo mein.

I was doordashing for them pairing as I was leaving one of the ladies stopped me. She wanted to triple check to make sure that the client got their food and that no mistakes were made. I appreciate that level of dedication. They clearly take their job seriously here. Seems pretty clean and the food smells great
