Excellent food for a Chinese buffet! You might have to hunt someone down to refill your water glass, but just don't leave a tip. The food is worth the hassle. The atmosphere is that of any typical Chinese buffet. Lots of tables and booths crammed as close together as possible, crowds of people not understanding how to wait in a line, etc. But the food is still worth it.

Great selection of good food. The buffet was kept full and fresh when I was there.

Older authentic Chinese food. Family owned. Ordered the chu chu beef sticks for appetizers and I had mushu pork and veteran friend had chicken Szechuan without the chicken. He loves vegetables. My first time having moo shu pork. The pancake that they say it comes in reminds me of a thinner tortilla.

I've loved this place since childhood. The food is always too notch, and the owner is simply awesome. They will customize the heat in your dish on a scale of 0 to 10; anything above 5 is way too much for me.

1st time ordering at this location. The shrimp fried rice still had clumps of white rice in it. The lo mein I ordered was the wrong meat instead of beef the put chicken and same with the chicken fried rice there were clumps of white rice still in it. The taste was not consistent at this Morton Denison location as it is on Sherman and Euless location. Too bad it so convenient for us since we are 10 minutes away. We would have to just drive to Sherman from now on if we want consistency for Wok Express.

Good food. Worst customer service ever especially ordering the drive through. He rushed me to the point I felt like I couldn't order anything else and I don't even think he looked at me. Didn't care at all didn't ask any questions didn't ask me if I wanted condiments.

It was out first time going and we were absolutely impressed.. The food was wonderful.. My little even liked it and that's saying a whole lot in it's self...( she's very pickey) The pricing was the best I have seen in a while... The chicken curry is really good as the orange chicken!! The workers were very polite and helpful.. We will absolutely be going back!!!

The egg rolls were hard and not great. The fried rice was the worst I ever had . It has nothing in it and nothing Asian about it. The szechaun Beef was only pepper steak spicy, very salty and had no Asian flavor. Sauce very watery and greasy. Veggies cooked correctly.

We have been staying in Waller since hurricane Beryl. These Google reviews don't disappoint about Yang's! Visited around 5pm and there was no one in the dining room. So I admit I was skeptical. I ordered the chicken lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, and wonton soup. MY GOODNESS I was super happy with taste and presentation and portion sizes. Everything was made hot and delicious while I waited and when I made it back to our hotel room the taste did not disappoint. I would and probably will drive from Houston to visit again. So delish!!

What a gem in disguise! Food is absolutely wonderful. We were traveling on a Friday night and worried a bit, being the only guests there, but took a chance and it paid off. (Buffet is lunch only BTW! And they do a brisk take away business) Hot and Sour Soup is hearty and full of good stuff with a rich full bodied broth. Egg Drop Soup is rich and creamy with lots of flavor. Orange Chicken is large chunk chicken, white meat, with a thick, not too sweet, sauce that compliments the flavor of the lightly battered pieces perfectly. I ordered mine spicy and it was perfect, my daughter ordered regular and loved it. Sweet and Sour Combo was chicken and shrimp, perfectly fried and served with a deep red sauce. Beef Chungking is a mix of beef, mushrooms and onions in a really nice brown sauce. It's labeled as spicy on menu but didn't come across until about half way in when my husband realized the spice crept in slowly, but it was there! Egg(spring) rolls were very tasty. Not at all greasy and the Rangoon puffs weren't either. We all enjoyed our dinner and we dropped a pin for another trip through!

Bit the bullet and drove here, and it was highly worth it. The general tso chicken was amazing and savory. So were the ragoons. The man at the window, though didn't seem very friendly and I didn't get a warm feeling from him, but the food was good and I'll be back tonight for the orange chicken lol

The food was very delicious!! I got the General TSO entree which came with a small side of steamed white rice. I also got a side of the Crab Rangoons (5 per order) - Those were absolutely phenomenal!!! I will definitely be going back to this place to try the chow mein. Definitely more of a take-out place than a sit down.

Delicious food and it's super close to me. I have the beef with garlic sauce and it was good. Not spicy though. Hot and sour soup was also good too. This place is to go only, no dine in. Got my food 10 mins or less

Great portions and very fresh food. Very fair pricing and awesome service. Family owned and way better food than the franchised places. Perfect takeout option after a busy day!

We have been coming here for many years . Food has always been consistently great. In addition to the normal Chinese dishes, they have a really good wonton soup and their pork barbecue is very tasty Prices are very reasonable, considering the portions you get. The lunch menu has great options and is really reasonably priced and you get a lot of food. Vegetarian options are plenty. Not much more to say than good selection, quality of food and quick service has always been my experience.

This is an old Chinese restaurant with fantastic food. My family and I always order the live lobster, which is incredibly fresh and tender. We especially love the salt and pepper seasoning, and the fried garlic on top is a must-have. It’s one of the main reasons we keep coming back. In addition to the lobster, they offer a wide range of sautéed dishes that attract food lovers who enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine. The food comes out quickly, so we never have to wait long. We also make sure to order the Peking duck and roast pork, both of which are excellent choices. Highly recommended! I’ve rated the atmosphere lower, though, because the restaurant is quite old and could really use a renovation to update the furniture.

Some of the best noodles ever. You can tell they’re hand made and fresh. The lamb skewers had amazing seasoning on them as well. I got the chicken noodles and my friends got the spicy lamb, both are amazing and good portion sizes. Definitely coming back again.

Hidden treasure in an inconspicuous strip mall that is loved by many. Our go-to is the spicy beef noodle soup and lamb skewers. Mr. Chen's food always revitalizes me, especially after a hard day at work. I make sure to come here at least once a week. Ever since I've grown to love his food, I feel incomplete without it

Tried their food at a Pop-up at IBM. I ordered the scallion pancake and an eggroll. There were barely any scallions in the pancake. It was overcooked and barely edible. The eggroll was soggy. The other food combo didn't look appealing that's why I only tried the 2 items I ordered.

Got combination Singapore noodles for takeout. When I first walked into the restaurant I didn’t expect much of the food due to the outdated look the restaurant had. I was wrong it was so so so sooo good. I asked for it to be spicy and it was definately just as spicy as I wanted. Plus they were super bice. I definately will be back to the next time I’m in Austin.

We had shrimp fried rice, popcorn chicken and stir fried snap peas. And the food was good. It's kind of a self service place and you don't have to wait long for your food. Highly recommended for a fast, satisfying bite.

The food is very very good here! We ordered beans, pork and fried rice, all are the best Chinese food we’ve tried in Austin. We would like to go back very soon! However, the servers can have better attitude toward customers. The light is a bit too dark, and the background music is also not match the other decorations.

The food is spot on! This really works for a good lunch and may work for a quick, simple dinner. The garlic sauce is simply amazing... I may have found a new addiction. I ended up putting it on everything - the rice, my spring roll, and of course my chicken and vegetables. I even made sure to save the leftover sauce and took it home just to find something, anything, to use it on (drool). The service was great as well - friendly and beyond helpful. We asked for a knife, and there were none out, but that did not deter them from finding us one... they simply had not opened a new box of them yet, but they didn't stop looking for one even after I said not to worry about it. That, my friends, is customer care. We ate outside on the picnic table and enjoyed the lunchtime weather, which paired perfectly with our meal. We will most certainly be returning. If you are looking for that perfect balance between a true, sit-down, table service Asian restaurant and the (not so good) fast food (bleh) "Chinese" food places, you absolutely can not go wrong with an order from Egg Roll Express.

I ordered from Egg Roll Express on Parmer in Austin recently and had a mixed experience. The delivery guy, Edgar with Favor, was awesome. Despite hitting some traffic and arriving later than expected, our food was still surprisingly warm. The shrimp egg rolls were great as usual, but the real disappointment came with the fried rice. It was tasty until I discovered pieces of eggshell in it. That was quite off-putting, and it left me feeling unsatisfied. I hope they pay more attention to food quality in the future because finding eggshells in your meal can be a real turn-off. Despite the hiccup with the fried rice, I appreciate Edgar's excellent delivery service. Hopefully, Egg Roll Express can improve their food quality, as I'd like to get what I paid for and continue to be a customer.
