Stopped by for a late lunch. Atmosphere matches what I expect for a cheap Chinese restaurant. Food was tasty (albeit they claim spice and it wasn’t), service was fast and straight to the point. Worth it if you want some Chinese food and don’t want to spend a fortune, or don’t want to waste time. I got one of their traditional dishes with beef, came with rice, 18 USD.

I just had take out but the food is really good. Fresh and plentiful. Good sized portions and a reasonable price compared to some. I drove 26 minutes to get there because they were the only place that did Singapore Rice Noodles. The lady at the counter was very well spoken and was polite and helpful on the phone when I ordered. I definitely recommend this place!

A really nice place, good for a date night or a casual meal. Service is great, our server was attentive and helpful with answering questions we had about the menu. Speaking of, it's a huge menu with lots of options and things to try! I particularly enjoyed the wontons in chili sauce app, and the dim sum north dumpling sampler! I particularly liked the pork. We also got the chocolate dumpling dessert, and lobster shrimp dumplings. I'm really eager to go back and try more of the menu!

They have opened this location not too long ago. We have been to the Southlake location, and customers here in highland village have had a lot of great positive comments as we sat down. Today is the first time trying this location. We are pleasantly surprised. We loved the food, the staff and management was very engaging and attentive. Great service. The food was really good. I felt like I could be a good snob, being from NYC and trying out a lot of good quality food, travel to Asia for work trips, sample street foods and all. They polished up this location and the food was really good. Our waiter was Rose, she went over the popular items with us, and the manager Mr John was very cool. 😁👍 I recommend this place. It's good for kids and adults of all ages. Authentic food here in Texas.

This is one of my go to places! My friends and I love this place. They have one of the best soup dumplings. For Chinese food, it’s pretty delicious and authentic in my opinion. We always order the soup Dumplings, some main entrees and family style it. Some other dishes we have ordered are Mongolian beef, orange chicken, hot and sour soup, egg drop soup, spicy wonton, combination fried rice, combination Lo mien, the list goes on. I plan to try the whole menu. So far, so good. Great atmosphere for small or large groups, or date night. Till then, let’s eat!

It was my first time here and needless to say, they did not disappoint. Their Soup Dumplings are very delicious but the crab one is not my favorite but everybody else at my table loved it! So personal preference. Their cucumber salad was too sweet for my liking but again, everybody at the tables demolished them. Their pan fried Bao is very delicious. Highly recommend! I also recommend their pork house wonton is delicious and I recommend getting the spicy version, I didn’t think it was spicy at all. Their soup dumplings were great! Nothing super special to them but they are very seasoned and soupy. We also got wood ear mushrooms and other than the vinegar taste being prominent, you can’t taste anything else… kind of bland. Overall, I’d come here again to try their other dishes as I am quite curious as to what else they have to offer!

I really like the fact they use white meat breast for the 🍊 orange chicken & sesame, BUT ITS LIGHTLY BREADED and I saw them prepare it and was hoping he would wok sear it along with the orange flavor sauce to keep it crunchy! But instead he showed it last as he put it in the black to-go container. Maybe next time I will ask to deep fry it longer if they going to just defeat all the deep frying purpose 🔥 but the $14 meal was good flavor...I will return Also I ordered no rice! But will try it with lo mein noodles for $2 extra

Delicious food! I love fish & chips and pad Thai! Deep Fried Spring Roll crispy and flavorful😋 Wonton is great fit with the sauce😋. Definitely come back🤘

food was subpar. Noodles taste old. Orange chicken didn't taste like is has in the past years. Teriyaki chicken was good. Sometimes it's a hit and miss with the food.

I came here because of the reviews being somewhat decent but I guess our food wasn’t prepared properly because a hour or so after we ate my family was all complaining of stomach pains, nausea, and diarrhea. It’s safe to say we won’t come back. Firecracker Shrimp ( It was okay) Chow Mien ( Appeared to be undercooked) Black pepper chicken (HIGHLY FATTY)

Update 4/21/24 Worst food ever, the food was disgusting no flavor and bad tasting. Not sure what happened but I know I will never eat here again. Ordered sweet and sour pork and flat beef noodles, awful. I was surprised by the service and the food! The food was really good. Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. The only item that wasn't as good as the rest was the spring rolls but they tasted good with too much lettuce and not rolled properly. The peanut sauce really good.

Eat like a king here at king china express, named appropriately because we ate like royalty. Prices are really reasonable and portions were crazy big. Couple of the entrees came with rice and egg roll. Want it extra spicy? Just ask. The general tso was great. And we still have leftovers after seconds. Same with the house fried rice, orange chicken and pad Thai. Gave us extra sauce and the place was clean and the order was ready as I entered the place. Definitely will be back here. Finally found our goto place. Go and so will you.

We got the hot and sour soup, egg rolls and sesame chicken special with fried rice. The soup and sesame chicken were fine, pretty standard, hot and tastey. However the egg rolls were phenomenal. Crunch on the outside, moist on the inside, lots of cabbage (which I love). We spent $17 which was a great value for the amount of food we got. The staff were super friendly and informative. I think we had our food for dine in within 5 minutes of ordering. The booths were clean and neat.

Our family absolutely loves the food at The Wall. We are happy to drive more than half an hour more through Dallas traffic to eat here. The highlight has to be any of the fried chicken dishes like Sweet and Sour Chicken or Sesame Chicken. There are too many places that have thick and overwhelming batter. The Wall uses a sensible amount, letting the chicken come through better and tasting so good. Their prices are more than fair and really shine when compared to how much you get. The Wall can withstand inflation too! Definitely affordable and very much worth it! The only detractor that I can point out may also be a plus for others. The menu is old and yellow and the decor is right out of everyone's imagination about what a Chinese food restaurant should look like on the interior.

I had the egg drop soup & chicken with vegetables and it was awesome! Everything was cooked just right. Friendly atmosphere with good service. You order at the front and then you get your drinks, find a table and sitter down. Then they bring it out to ya.

This is by far the best Chinese food in Ellis County. Everything is fresh and all the sauces are home made. I drive almost 40 minutes to eat here once a week and there isn't another place around as good.

I had the sesame chicken and crab Rangoon and a egg roll it was so good a must try this place is a hidden gem ❤️

This was our first time coming to the restaurant. It's a nice little spot. The young lady who took my order was very nice. The good came out really fast. The Kung Pau was just ok. It all looked like the same color. The combination fried rice was good but the there's a lot of onions & they're not cooked down well, so you taste a lot of onions. The best food was the orange chicken. It was cooked very well & had a good char on it. The onlything that was missing is that it needed a little more orange taste to it, but it was really good.

Was looking for Asian food and came here because of the positive reviews. They did not disappoint. The service was friendly, the flavor good, the portion size perfect. Would come back again.

Staff was friendly and helpful Prices were affordable Taste was ok. I ordered the firecracker chicken and hot honey wings. Neither was spicy. Although food was definitely appealing to the eyes. I’d return and try something different. Nothing was bad. I’d just like more flavor and spice.

This is definitely not the best Chinese food I’m from Missouri and I think we have the best Chinese food but it was decent the crab Rangoon didn’t have enough cheese and crab inside I didn’t like that but for the price it was ok it’s not horrible but I wouldn’t come back and just eat here like that

I ordered lemon pepper and hot wings from this place and was so ready to get home to hear into them. When I got home, sat down and opened my boxes to eat I immediately became absolutely disappointed!!! The wings were so greasy and dry that I couldn't even enjoy them like I hoped I would. With food costing so much more than it used to it irritates every nerve in my body when I get food that is unsatisfactory. I won't be patronizing this place again at all. 😞

Quality food served hot and fresh. Flavors were excellent- egg roll and chicken wing were wonderful. Price was super reasonable! I loved it. Service was great too.

Love this place. I always order to go or have it delivered! I can’t complain. I order the chicken Mei Fun noodle. Another person said his wife loved it so I gave it a shot and man my goodness it was great!
