China Dragon 2
AMAZING SERVICE I ordered online and made a mistake and the online system up charged me. Completely on me! They cleared it up for me at the counter when I showed up and they previously called me before I got there to make sure I ordered correctly. They gave me the money back, a ten dollar bill for the up charge . Very honest and amazing food ! ❤️❤️every time I come here the food is great and the service is great. Definitely recommend! Left it as a tip for their honesty and concern for when they called me to make sure.
Food was fresh and flavorful! We ordered delivery through DoorDash and our food was hot upon delivery. We ordered sesame chicken, Mongolian beef, and chicken/shrimp hibachi.
China Garden Restaurant
Avoid this place.. the service was horrible.. they don’t care about your business. The food was subpar.. I ordered beef and broccoli, house fried rice and extra egg.. I got maybe 4 pieces of beef and it was $17.00! The guy knew it was subpar.. he dropped the plate and disappeared.. house fried rice had a few shrimp.. slither or two of chicken and pork… won’t go here again and recommend you don’t either!
The food is great, But! their over charging. Even with extra tax , they’re still charging almost $6 more for nothing. The struggle is real, and this is not a rehearsal. Can someone please report them. The prices on the menu is not what they’re charging. Again THEIR OVER CHARING!!! Please add up your total before you go.Report them!
Panda Chinese Restaurant
Great takeout place when you're in the mood for some Chinese food. Big menu and fair prices. Orders are very fast. Usually call there 10 to 15 minutes ahead and is ready for pickup.
So disappointed. Panda used to be so good. I stopped going here a while ago because the food stoooed being good. Today I went here instead of my usual place because Panda was closer. It was a big mistake. The food was bland and dry. I ordered the General Tso chicken. It was dry (meaning no extra sauce), tasteless and no spice. Not like any General Tso I’ve ever tasted. I ordered the whole wings and they have no flavor. I ordered the vegetable mei fun and it has a few pieces of broccoli and no sauce. Just noodles and broccoli. No taste! I’ll never order from Panda again! Wasted money!
Peking Wok(Hardscrabble rd)
My first time going here. I ordered shrimp fried rice and General TSO Chicken. Very clean and atmosphere phenomenonal. Great customer service.
I am beyond disappointed with my recent experience at Peking Wok. I called in my order, only to find that it was completely wrong when I arrived to pick it up. Mistakes happen, and I understand that—but what followed was absolutely unacceptable. When I returned to the restaurant to have my order corrected, I was met with nothing but rudeness and hostility from the very person who took my order in the first place. Instead of simply acknowledging the mistake and fixing it, he repeatedly interrupted me, spoke to me with an attitude, and showed zero respect for a paying customer. To make matters worse, as I was leaving, he even used profanity, which is beyond unprofessional and downright disgusting behavior. Basic customer service—let alone basic human decency—should not be too much to ask for. I was not looking for an argument, just the food I paid for. Instead, I was treated with outright disrespect and aggression. If this is how they handle their customers, I can only imagine how little care goes into their food. I will never be returning, and I strongly urge others to take their business elsewhere unless they enjoy being mistreated. There are plenty of restaurants that will happily take your money without insulting you in the process.
China King Restaurent
I was here a few days ago. At the time I didn't have a car. I ordered the chicken with garlic sauce. It was very good in spiciness compared to some other restaurants. It helped me with my weight management goals. I will definitely go back.
no no no no no. The food was standard price no complaints there, but the food, bathrooms and overall area was not welcoming. Do NOT recommend. We walked in to Roblox blasting on the tv, with inappropriate shows the kids were watching. Dirty and couldn’t eat here.
Grand Buffet
Food is dry. Had to use lots of duck sauce on fried chicken because it was so dry. But chicken was crispy though. Buffalo chicken was cold. Once dinner hours came they refreshed the food, well at least the seafood, so the seafood was no longer sitting in dried out pans but actually in some juice.
I use to love this place but the last few time I have went the food has been cold and undercooked. But as of recently I went and found a roach in the food. My boyfriend and I were eating and he pointed out something on my plate he thought it was a burnt onion until I turned it around and saw it was a dead roach. They still charged me for drinks and his meal. This is the very last time I’ll ever come back. Sad to see a good place gone bad!
Panda Express
Glad it was near to our hotel… it was our comfort food during our stay. We had the meal 2-3 times and our fav was Black pepper & string bean chicken which seems to be always out of stock except at lunchtime. Though we order below with fried rice (we always prefer rice) * Orange chicken * Black Pepper Chicken* String bean chicken * Honey sesame chicken The ambiance is good and cleaned up to some extent. If someone leaves the mess, no one is quickly coming to clean the table. I would blame their civic sense though The staff is good, happy to help with your questions and an extra scoop of rice 😉 The location is great as well, in the same complex as shopping outlets, Best Buy, Walmart, and other big stores.
We had chow mein, orange chicken, shrimp, fried rice. It was delicious. And flavorful. Even though it was a long line, but we didn’t wait that long . Stuff is very nice.
Peking Gourmet (5300 Rivers Ave, N. Charleston)
I may be a little biased because I’m a huge Chinese fan, but being from New York, I know good Chinese food when I taste it. Peking Gourmet does not disappoint. The sweet and sour chicken/pork are favorites for me and my son. We also typically add a side of fried dumplings. Chinese food is always a great go to for a quick and satisfying lunch or dinner. The seating is typical of a restaurant that rarely has customers dining in, but takeout is where it’s at! We’ll certainly we back for more.
I ordered 3 meals to go. The prices were good. $40 . Large portions! Our food was great! I had a lobster tail in my seafood delight. Everything tasted wonderful. We all agreed that it was probably the best around here. The cashier was nice. BUT it took 30 minutes to get my food 😒. The atmosphere was awful. Turn on the radio or something. I will go back , but I will call my order in first!
Shuang Xi Kitchen
Everything we have ordered here in multiple visits has been very good. There are many similar restaurants around Charleston but nothing compares to the flavor and consistency of this place. It’s family run and they are very nice. We have never had a bad experience here. The sesame beef is so flavorful and tender. The wonton soup is very close to what you would get in NY. You can easy in at a few tables or take out and they also deliver.
Decided last minute to order from here and it was well worth the decision. Everything was full of flavor and large portions reasonably priced. Got the honey wings, crab rangoon, ma po tofu, general tsos chicken, house special mei fun, and egg rolls. Will be ordering from them again!
Jade Garden
HORRIBLE !!!! if I could rate this place ZERO STARS I would, my partner decided to try this place and realized it had three star reviews (I SEE WHY ) without my knowledge he went and picked up our food upon opening my "beef & broccoli " I discovered PINK uncooked meat ??? I immediately went to return it and was approached by a clearly incompetent Asian women who was argumentative yet barely spoke comprehensive English we went back and forth about five times before I gave up and just let her rob me of $30.00 not to mention the atmosphere I observed seeing a child's crib in the RESTAURANT, I have so many questions about this place and how they are able to be rated "A" as they don't practice sanitary skills & lack professionalism!
This is our favorite local place for Asian food. The food is great, good portion sizes, reasonable prices and super friendly staff!
Great Wall Express
Really good customer service and the restaurant was clean. Food didn't hit the mark though. The rice was lacking flavor, the orange chicken wasn't crispy. The boneless spareribs were mostly fat. The crab ragoon was on point. The portion size was good. I would try again if I was in the area.
Saw a small roach just casually crawling around the floor behind the counter While I was picking up my food. You know if they got little ones it means they’re are big ones breeding there somewhere.
Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant
Told the owner working that my chicken wings were fried too hard two weeks ago and to make sure my wings weren’t overcooked for this order, and she gave me attitude. She refused to serve me and said if I have a problem with their cooking eat somewhere else. She then stormed off and started yelling to her husband in their language about me. So he ran over and he told me to get out and leave because the chicken will be cooked as it recently was and not a minute sooner. How rude! I guess customers shouldn’t complain about food they spend their money on. Seriously
Always good. Exactly what you would want and expect
