New Chinatown Restaurant
If you're in the mood for Chinese food in Moncks Corner it's a good option. We have been coming here for a few years but not too often. Recently the food has been very fresh, and buffet stocked well. Desert options are limited and basic bland Chinese options but that's not what I go for. No ice cream machine, only cups. Just a solid buffet. Nothing that's really amazing and nothing that's really bad either.
My husband and I came here today with our one year old son. I saw the “please don’t waste food” signs everywhere and of course my son dropped his plate of food on the ground. I felt SO bad! I cleaned everything up using wipes. Hopefully the staff weren’t too upset with me, but everyone was extremely nice so it didn’t seem that way. Just know that I’m very sorry! The food was great, hot and fresh. Not sure why this place has any bad reviews. Clean bathrooms and clean restaurant. Very attentive and friendly staff. I always feel bad going out to eat with a baby because I know how crazy it can get, but I appreciate the staff for accommodating us. Today was our first time here and we will definitely be back.
Number One Kitchen
We had the egg foo young and veggie rice and chicken wings and fries … the fries were burnt but everything else was good… we placed the order over the phone and it was done in 35 mins.
Placed an order and in it I asked for general chicken. I also emphasized severe fish and shellfish allergies. Not only did they check on this, they called me and told me general chicken has ingredients I am allergic to, but the chef for on the phone with me and said he had a different way he could make it. That it will taste just a bit different but would be safer for me. I agreed to try it. Chef!! I barely could taste the difference and I want to thank you so much for giving me the taste I was looking for and keeping me safe!!! Evening else from sweet and sour , to chicken chow mein to even sticky rice was absolutely perfect..You all are the best!!!
Panda Express
Today around 11:24am, I informed the staff member that I wanted white rice and teriyaki chicken. She prepared my food, completed the transaction, and walked away without further communication. When she returned to the register, I asked for teriyaki sauce and was told they had run out. This was confusing—why continue selling “teriyaki chicken” if the sauce, which defines the dish, is unavailable? While I was eating, I noticed several other customers also requesting teriyaki sauce after being served, only to find out it wasn’t available—despite being charged for what amounts to plain chicken. This experience was disappointing and felt misleading. I hope this can be addressed to ensure better transparency and customer service moving forward.
Best Panda Express I’ve ever been to. I will be spending every Friday lunch here. Thank you for keeping the floors shiny and the food hot!
Panda Express
Slow traffic and no line. I ordered 3 entree. Lady in black shirt act like so busy and didn’t chop my teriyaki. Anything else are good
I enjoyed coming to this location for brunch because it was not planned for me to eat when I arrived. The food exceeded my expectations in taste and presentation. The customer service was very courteous and professional. The restaurant lobby, countertops and restroom was clean. I will come again in the future and recommend this as a family friendly and clean business to patronize.
Asian Grill Hanahan
AMAZING food, HUGE portions, and excellent service! Love it there. Great deals too. They even gave us a wall poster with our meal which was really cool.
came in one evening and got a lottt a lot of food for a fairly low price and service was great! good recommendations and very helpful and professional 👍🏽also the food was great.
China Kitchen
Worst crab rangoons I've ever had. Pretty sure they're microwaved or sat out all day. They're rubbery as all get out. Second time trying this place and you can tell they don't care. And the prices are ridiculous!
Tried for the first time. Food was bland. Prices are outrageous, even for lunch specials. Had a sweet tea, which tasted like it was about a month old. Change out your tea when it goes sour please, you can afford it.
No. 1 China
The place was empty and right in the middle of me ordering, someone walked in, interrupted and the woman taking my order just walked away to take his order! Food was awful and high priced; the egg rolls are small and with scant filling. They charged me the mustard and didn't even include any packages of duck sauce! The gal behind the counter was rude and impassive. It was so slow considering it was lunch hour, that the cook was able to socialize with the woman behind the counter while my order was being packed up. Very disappointed 😔. They also rounded up my bill from what it said on the cash register!! Accoding to much older reviews, things were better when previous owners had the place. I should have gone to Chin Dynasty or Hong Kong a few miles away! .
This was the worst Chinese food I've ever tried! $42 for 2 lunch specials, 2 egg rolls, shrimp lo main and fried dumplings...figured we'd try our favorites and enjoy left overs! Forget about it! The place is gross...no tables, covid plastic, empty room. The lady is rude...while ordering she just kept saying, "yeah, yeah, yeah". And the food...sickening! General Taos...frozen breaded nuggets with sweet sauce poured on, Kung Pao Chicken same breaded nuggets with brown sauce, egg roll is a fried spring roll and the fried dumplings were pan seared wantons...shrimp lo mein looked good but we were too scared to try it. Dumped everything in trash...worst experience ever! Oh and the fried rice...how the heck can you screw that up...but they did...some low cost rice with brown sauce.
China Dragon Chinese Restaurant
This is not a very good place to get Chinese food. I have been to hundreds of Chinese restaurants. This one was sticky. That's right. The floor the table and the plates. The line food was not hot. Only hot food I found was the wonton soup. The buffet was cool to the touch. I went here a few years back. Now I'm reminded why I have not been in a few years. Spend your money on take-out at least it will be hot.
I found the staff to be polite and friendly. The food was fresh and delicious. My entire family always looks forward to have a to go for the evening. The price is a little high but I am willing to pay for clean good food. People who are finding Dragon in a negative are definitely trying to look for poor results sadly.
Panda Chinese Restaurant
The food is AWFUL. Everything we got was greasy and bland. The sweet and sour chicken’s sauce obviously comes out of a can. It was BRIGHT red and so sweet with no depth of flavor. The egg rolls weighed a ton and were saturated with oil. The egg foo young was dense and hard to even tell what was in there it was so heavy and greasy. That one got thrown directly on the trash after one bite. Lo mien, same deal. Greasy noodles but then weirdly dried out chicken, it was probably frost bitten. Never again. Truly nasty 🤢
I’ve been going to this restaurant for years. They did amazing at their last location. Always talked to the Same man every time. He was awesome! He was at the new location up front but now there’s a new girl? Got our meal wonton soup other items.. not like before. Can u find the meat? Other items were ok.. but that won ton soup.. shake my head.side note… I had to add some better than bullion to the broth. 🤷🏽♀️
Panda Chinese Restaurant
I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve placed a mobile order here, and every single time the ‘ready by’ time is pure fiction. This time it told me 7:20, so I hit the drive-thru right on time. Ten minutes later, I finally get to the speaker, just to be told they’re behind and my order still isn’t ready. Oh, and my options? Either circle back through the drive-thru like it’s a theme park ride, or park and go inside—because apparently ‘mobile convenience’ means ‘do it yourself.’ Absolutely wild.
Food is okay. Upon calling in my order, I was met with an annoyed tone when I was nothing but friendly. After rereading the order, the speaker said a few words very quickly but I didn’t quite understand what they said. Before I could ask for clarification, they hung up abruptly. I called back to ensure my order was indeed placed because I didn’t hear a total for the cost or an estimated time for pickup. I was, again, met with a rude tone before hanging up again. Okay fine, whatever, it’s getting pretty late and they’re likely tired. I can empathize with that. My partner and his friend went to pick up the order and was charged an additional $30!!!! I added up the cost of each individual item and double checked it. Even with tax, it wouldn’t have been as much as I was charged! I have never tried panda before, but I can assure you I will NEVER be back and I’ll make sure to persuade anyone else to stay away.
Jade Garden
Please note we have never eaten in house. This is a takeout review. Although we live in Sun City, and takes anywhere between 20 and 30 minutes to get there, we have found Jade Garden to be the best take out! We have never been disappointed. We usually order three combination meals along with Chinese donuts and dragon bites for the two of us. We have roast pork fried rice, roast pork lo mein, General Tso, boneless ribs, (which are irregular bite size pieces of meat in a glorious sauce), served with spring rolls, (the best anywhere), and fortune cookies. Everything remains hot and fresh. We have enough food for 3 full meals for the two of us for just over $40 including tax and tip. When we added an extra person this evening we added an extra combination meal for $54 and change. We seemed to pack as much into the fridge as we had come home with. Amazing flavors and value! There is an inside buffet, but we have never eaten there.
At 7pm the food on the bar tasted like it had been there for hours, not to mention cold which I still don't understand how most of it was cold on a "hot bar" guy at the counter was nice but the waitress had zero personality and did not even speak to me one time. The hibachi grill was not attended to one moment, which is what I really came there for. At least my food Would have been hot ...
Express Wok
Honestly, I’m not one to throw around the “i’m from NY “ phrase… EVER. BUT, coming from the food mecca that I do, to say this chinese take out is so on-point, is a big deal. I travel a lot and it’s hard to find the real deal. The best Gyoza ever, light, crispy, perfect size. The lo-mein is tight, and the fried rice is actually the dark fried rice you’d expect, none of that light color nonsense. Everything I’ve had so far hits. The owner’s cool too. Sometimes they have no boneless ribs, lol but it’s okay, get something else. 😉
This is a great place for take out, the food is yummy. However, I've called on several different occasions (3-4 times) where I've been told they don't have any chicken wings. I understand it can get busy but it is totally unacceptable to not have wings throughout the week when it is listed on the menu. Maybe only serve chicken wings on certain days or prepare better so that you don't run out.
