China Experience
The orange and general tsao chicken is gooood , not fond of anything else....the guys at the front are always welcoming
In the beginning the guy that was making my food was really nice, but the guy that was ringing me up was rude he had a problem giving me a bag and the receipt but could give it to other people. Then when I asked for the receipt he looked at me like I was crazy even though he had the receipt in his hand. I was a visitor to Myrtle Beach and this restaurant on 4/13/25.
China Buffet
Read a previous review and agree đŻ with one very minor exception. The Pepper Steak was rather chewy other than that each and every selection was at the right temperature, good taste and fresh. Location is easy off 38th Street into a large mall area with plenty of parking. If you're in Myrtle Beach I suggest you stop in and enjoy the large selection including Sushi đŁ and other Asian treats.
I don't understand why this restaurant has such a low rating. It is literally one of the best Chinese buffets I've been to. Very clean, employees are nice. And food is very good. I'm local and come here every couple months.
Famous Wok
I googled Chinese food!, this place was close, so I rolled the dice. I didn't know it was in a mall food court, took a while to find it, and wished I hadn't. The food is pre cooked, and sits in steam trays. I like fresh cooked Chinese, so the food is piping hot with crispy veggies. This place nay be better for early lunch but not dinner, its like having left overs, and needs reheating. The server was slopping a good portion onto the Styrofoam container with a smile on her face, just trying to get rid of it. I hope they throw out unsold portions and not save them for the next day. The chicken teriyaki and fried rice was edible but tthe veggies not so much.
If I could give zero stars I would ! Food was old my sons friend got a general saos (spelled wrong) chicken and lo mein all the food was old which made him sick we asked for a refund she took the chicken to the back dropped it in grease and threw more sauce on it from the plate we had and threw them back on the bar to serve again I demanded a refund and finally got one to only find out he over charged me for the plate to begin with when ordering he tried to dismiss me very rudely and then more attitude again at refund telling me to shut up and I explained very professionally that he was rude and unprofessional and he needed to allow me and the young lady to figure it out upon coming back to my table another lady whom works at a different place said that happens all the time they never change the food and people are always sick last week they removed maggots out the rice and needs to be shut down ! I called dhec and made an official report ! This is just not ok!
New Hong Kong Restaurant
This place doesnât even deserve one star. The experience was absolutely disappointing. The environment was unclean, and the service was unacceptable. We chose not to eat and requested a refund, but the staff, particularly the lady we spoke with, was incredibly rude and refused to issue it. I strongly advise avoiding this place altogether.
Not very welcoming or accommodating. Friday night, and we were the only ones here.... should have been the warning, but....small town. Anyway..... while eating from the meager buffet(not too good,(esp for $12.99 each), a cockroach waltzed down the floor and then up onto the front door!!!! NOT GOOD!!!! Go to the pizza/pasta place next door!! Better chance of decent food and hopefully no bugs!!!! So gross!!!! At least whatever it ate, it looks like it wanted to use a credit card. đĄđĄđđ
Wow Bao
Spent $40 for two. The bao were so hard we couldnât eat them. The portions are insanely small maybe 4/5 bites. I ordered two different chicken bowls and theyâre the same. The only thing that was right were the dumplings.
Wish I can give a 0 start. The portion is so little compared the price. Also the taste feels like they drop the whole salt jar into the dish. I ordered to go order, no utensil or napkins. The restaurant shouldnât exist, I donât know why theyâre opening. Save your money.

China Buffet
Just moved to Allendale food was not all that great definitely had better prices are some what ok they do give you a lot of food but definitely had better and the chicken wings could be cooked a little longer
Excellent food at an affordable price. We eat here often. Portions are huge and staff is friendly.
China King
This place is a gem in a rural area with few options. Fresh, delicious and also very inexpensive, especially for the quality and portion size. Orange chicken, fried rice & crab rangoons were all really, really good. Was the lady on the phone a little surly to my boyfriend? Yep! Would I let her yell at me every single time we order as long as the food stays that tasty and cheap? Also yep!! :)
My boyfriend and I got the bbq ribs, chicken fried rice, and teriyaki chicken it wasnât good! The chicken fried rice the chicken wasnât cooked all the way through, the teriyaki chicken was super thin almost paper like, and the bbq ribs werenât cooked all the way either and rubbery! Definitely wonât be eating from there again! I called in and was put on hold twice and was rushed to order! I hate making bad reviews about places but the food wasnât good!
