Happy Garden Chinese Restaurant
There is only one lady who takes orders and serves the food . If there is a crowd it is inconvenient for all. I have tried 3 types of food so far chicken, fried rice and soup and they were tasty. The food was a bit salty but was less oily. The place needs renovation as it has a few cobwebs and the table cloths needs washing. The overall decor is traditional but cleanliness but be considered too. The toilet which is located at the centre of the shop always has its door opened which is again not hygienic. If they work on cleanliness and the overall decor then they will surely be at a better standing. Although the food is good ...honestly I don't know how their kitchen would be ..I hope it is clean.
Presentation: not good. Service: we were only 3, out of 2 tables, service sucked. Food:gross! We sent our food back. The sweet and sour chicken was decent. But the rest, it almost made my husband and I throw up. Shrimp and popsikle was overall greesy as well and coudnt even eat past 2. The can sodas were dirty (see pic), which will tell alot of the kitchen they run. I really wanted to love it, because I would go to their st helens location. I coudnt even stomach the pork fried rice, which had a horrible after taste. Overall, do not recomend. And my bill was high for food we didn't eat.
Sing Fay Restaurant & Lounge
I have tried egg rolls in so many places. I was struggling to find some in Oregon that were as good as California. Belice me when I tell you this is the spot!!! Their egg rolls are phenomenal!!! Hands down the best I’ve had since moving out of Cali! If you haven’t already go try!!
Went around 8pm, Food was great, and the bartender was super nice and an amazing bartender! She made me a cute drink, and I got some of my favorite foods. The owner was adorable, and she made me laugh a lot. I will definitely be returning more often
Jade Terrace
I came in, and she was fiddling under the counter, so I waited. She said, "Can I help you?" I said, "I would like to have lunch." She acted like I was bothering her. She tried to sit me at a dirty table. When I pointed it out, she waved me to another. Despite saying I was there for lunch, she didn't give me a lunch menu, I had to ask for one. When I ordered, she didn't even ask what soup I wanted. The food was below average, cleanliness was horrible, water stains on the ceiling, clutter and junk was the scenery. I will NEVER go back. I wish I wouldn't have gone in the first place!
I have always been more than happy with the special #2. The portion sizes are huge and I love it. Id prefer less sweet and sour sauce in the box when you order it to go, but it seems like theres always a relatively equal mix of fully sauced chicken pieces and some only about half. So you can elect to drown your chicken in more of the delicious sauce or eat a half doused ones as is. The chow mein is perfect. Pork fried rice is a great addition that lets you enjoy rice with some appreciated flavor. I originally didnt like the crab puffs but they grew on me quickly. Ive seen some complain that the outside needs more cleaning or that the environment needs some adjustment. I think the concerns of the outside are fair enough, but Ive never felt the place was unclean. If anything, I take small town restaurants with dated exteriors but fine interiors as a sign of the truly good stuff. And my experience with Jade terrace has basically just been that: the good stuff. I am currently full to the brim with a special #2 after thinking about it all day and not eating much. You know what Im not full of? Regret. The special #2 filled me up so much, I have no room for it. Great place for Chinese food.
Far Man Restaurant
So it wasn't the best, but wasn't the worst chinese I have eaten. The egg flower soup was gelatinous.
Because of the 20% gratuity they tell you right off the bat and the city tax we just got one glass of wine (½ glass), one cup of coffee and the crab cake appetizer (2 crab cakes) which came to $43.78! We did enjoy the music though but won't be back.
Panda Express
I was here 10am Nov.22nd I wish I got the lady's name but I didn't. I placed a online order for myself and my son. I guess I forgot to put in the comments to pack the Teriyaki separate being he has a food allergy. Poor lady was understaffed and super busy but still accommodated my request. She was clearly a bit overwhelmed but still went above and beyond. Great Service and thank you again :)
I like Panda Express generally but tonight I was disappointed. I ordered ala carte boxes and when I got home, one of the boxes were about 60% full. I didn't really feel like going back and knee the person behind the counter was being trained but no one was working with him and I thought I heard someone say something about being his first shift and it was busy, so understand that they were not able possibly to provide some help for him. I guess I have to check if I order again before leaving the store.
Great Wall Restaurant
We came at a time were it was pretty empty. The service was amazing. The woman who served us was kind, informative and respectful. The food was exactly what I wanted. It had flavor, plenty of meat and the egg rolls… omg the egg rolls are awesome. I was even really happy with the price of everything. The atmosphere was so cozy, a little outdated but I liked the vibe.
I was blown away by how delicious the chicken fried rice was. Tye egg rolls are huge and super yummy. Lady was so sweet and very attentive. The orange chicken was perfect. The place is dated yes but the food was great. Very happy with all of it. Thank you!
Panda Express
Good service, good food, so-so pricing. The staff are speedy and professional and pack the plates really well which is a refreshing change from the Chipotle where you can get things half-filled. They have a large sign advertising that they're hiring, however the wording on the salaries and pay can be seen as a little misleading. There's plenty of seating, however it can get filled up FAST during busy hours so you may have to take a bit of a trek to get to some clean, empty tabling. "You're telling me a shrimp fried this rice?"
Panda Express, an American Chinese chain originating in California and rapidly expanding globally, has a location at the ERB Memorial Union on the University of Oregon's campus. One of Panda Express's standout offerings is their signature dish, "Orange Chicken." It consists of boneless chicken that's first deep-fried and then wok-cooked in a delectable sweet and spicy orange sauce, infused with dried chilies, Sichuan pepper, and tangerine peel. The crispy chicken perfectly balances sweet and sour flavors, accented with citrus and chili undertones.
Panda Express
Just 2 pics of a terrible experience... wanted double chow mein and got half rice instead... for sauces we got a dozen of every sauce except sweet and sour sauce..the 1 we wanted... every time we order from here it's a terrible experience. They just don't gaf about what their doing. It's a shame VRC location is the closest and only location that will deliver.
I've been here a few times and I've always enjoyed the service the food and how quick it is to get my food and everything else This is my favorite Panda Express to go to in Eugene. However my only complaint that I have is I went there earlier today for a job interview at 3:45 got there a couple hours early just to walk around and get out of My apartment and have something to do and when it came closer to that time I walked over to the counter and let a guy behind the register know that I was there for an interview he said the manager wasn't there but he was going to let her know and that really threw me off and frustrated me because I have been looking forward to the interview for a couple days and to be told that the manager wasn't there was really hurtful and heartbreaking for me. I had a feeling in my heart that this was going to be it the job that I was looking forward to getting hopefully, And I would love to send a message to the manager at this Panda Express at I would love to come in again for a job interviews really soon and have a second chance to have an interview with them and share why I want to work there. It would really mean a lot to me and I hope to hear back soon from them. Thank you guys for the food and the service and I hope to have a second chance again. 😀😊😁😎🙏
Good Taste Chinese Restaurant
Best Chinese I've ever had -spicy hot tofu with vegs & rice and spicy hot beef with vegs & rice were both outstanding. GENEROUS portions. Dining room was very cold so recommend take out!
First time customer and would say food is good but do not trust their menu prices as it is clearly outdated as I found out. According to their online menu .y food should of been around $24 but when I got their to pick it up she told me $35. I asked if the online menu was accurate and all I got for a reply is theirs a menu right here n pointed to one on the counter.
Chen's Happy Garden
I’ve driven past Chen’s Happy Garden so many times but finally decided to stop in for lunch. I’m so happy I did, cause the food was great especially for the price, and portions. I had more than enough for lunch the next day. The lady that took our order was super nice, and on point with service. It’s a great lunch spot, and I’ll definitely be going back. The city has done a good job of cleaning up the homeless problem around this location.
Best Szechuan Chicken in the world. My teen loved the food. Great service! We been coming here for years.
Szechuan Chinese Restaurant
We ordered food for pickup and they were all good. Portions could've been better though.
I ordered some wontons, I paid $10 for fried wonton skins, the portions are very small. Would not order from them again. Wonder wok is my go to, and will do that moving forward.
Panda Express
The people behind the counter were very nice. I feel like they really cared about the customer service. Also, whenever I order orange chicken, they fill it up so full that they can barely close it. A Large Al La Carte is way too much for one person, unless you want leftovers. That's just my personal experience, but it has made Panda Express my favorite restaurant just for the orange chicken.
I don’t have a Panda Express where I’m from so I like to stop on road trips usually. In this instance it was going back home from camping in Albany. I got a plate and by god did they overload my box. I payed $10 and easily got $20 worth of food. For that, I am grateful. ETERNALLY grateful. I will probably remember this interaction forever. The food is just Panda Express food so like nothing revolutionary but it doesn’t need to be. Also. The girls serving me were very pretty and I didn’t get nervous and pee my pants this time so, absolute win on my end.
