Hing Ming Restaurant
Would be 5 stars if they still cooked food. Everytime I ask I get told a different answer as to why they "can't" other than that they are friendly and it's a good spot to go play vp
I love these folks that own the store, so friendly, helpful, and I consider them my friends. They don't judge they are very down to earth and live to talk and visit. Video poker is always hopping and the store is as well. There's a warm homey feel to the place. It's alwAys packed and every bodies glad to be there with one another. Just a good old hang out. Live it
Hong Kong 97
When I walked in to pick up my to-go order and saw the video poker machines and the bar up front, I held out hope that there might be good food here. The staff was incredibly friendly and greeted me right away. Alas, the food wasn't the best I've had. I'll be honest: the dough on the pot stickers was so thick that it wasn't quite cooked. The pork lo mein looked like it was only noodles and bean sprouts.
Tried the Combination Lunch Special B for $9.50, which has Sweet & Sour Pork, Pork Fried Rice and Pork Chow Mein. When you dine in, it comes with a cup of soup: I got the Hot & Sour soup. The food was good and it's a great deal. Customer service is excellent and our food came out quickly. Thank you đ.
Mai Wah Restaurant
First time I ordered orange chicken and Szechwan chicken as well as pork fried rice. The rice tastes like it had been sitting in a fridge for days and the chicken was soggy and disgusting. I called to see if I could get my mo eh back and they said no but I could have it remade. I ended up ordering two other dishes suggested by the woman who answered the phone and to my disappointment the food again is DISGUSTING. The beef dish is mostly veggies and the beef is chewy and tough. The chicken dish has so many onions in it I canât even eat it. This is bad. They need to figure it out. Never eating here again
Food was not as good as it was back in the 80s when we used to eat there. It was âokâ. Service was great. Atmosphere was a total pool bar. Didnât look the same at all but it was in the same location.
Chen's Dynasty II
The atmosphere is escapism from the hustle and bustle of inner Portland: Lloyd District. The employees are very friendly and funny: in a very Chinese kinda' way ;-) There is a local bar scene off to the left, to the right is maybe 10 booths, and behind that there are 2 banquet rooms. The food is generally good, the prices fair under the circumstances (2025), the atmosphere is perfect 100% Chinese. Reminds me of some of the off alley restaurants I eat at while in China for 1 year: Beijing, Chongqing, Chengdu, Weihai, ect. But only a few people here (all take-out orders)...so I miss the NOISE....and the CROWD.....of China....other then those 2 things....I love this place. Oh, and the outside could use a bit of paint and a pot-hole or two filled in the parking lot. But for me, it's what's inside.
Fast, efficient service: the water and the menu were at my table a second after I sat. The waitress brought the tea and the soup quickly. The chow fun was tasty and filling with a good ratio of noodles, vegetables, and chicken. The waitress checked in with the customers a few times during my meal, and handled the check and payment with the same professional efficiency. Back again Jan 3 2025 - this time I had the twin kung pao special (chicken and shrimp) served with egg flower soup, spring roll, and a little metal cup of very hot Chinese mustard. All very tasty.
The Ambassador Restaurant & Karaoke
Iâve been looking for a great Chinese restaurant, and Ambassador is it!! The owners are incredibly kind, and the food was amazing. I had the General Tsoâs Chicken and Beef Chow Funâboth were SO GOOD. Also, Iâm usually picky about spring rolls, but these were perfectâcrispy outside, not mushy inside. 10/10 experience!!
More of a Lounge karaoke than restaurant - but surprisingly good food. Sauteed Chkn Chow Fun - not wide noodles - but still good, lots of green onions. Twice cooked pork - lots of veggies and good sauce - side of rice - and my Theme: no plastics for togo Orders. Maybe call to order. đ
New Cathay restaurant and lounge
Ordered pan fried noodles in the chicken chow mein with crunchy noodle side and Orange Chicken. Got a call back to clarify the order which I did not understand entirely why because nothing was changed as far as I could tell. My girlfriend gets to the counter for pick-up and the counter attendant asked if I wanted chicken in the noodle. My girlfriend wasn't sure because I ordered. Upon opening the food containers I discover that there is a box pan-fried soft unflavored noodles with no chicken and a box of orange chicken made with dark meat for the orange chicken we ordered. Dark meat is all I could taste. We will not be calling back or going back. $25 of garbage food was completely useless.
The food we ordered was ok but there was nothing unique. The staff was friendly, and our meal came quickly. The batter on the shrimp and sweet and sour chicken masked any flavor and overpowered the meat. I ended up removing the batter coating. The sauce that came with was not that flavorful and didnât do a anything to help, and the fried rice included with the combo meal had nothing else in it and was rather bland. There are probably other items on the menu that have better flavor, but the combo meal, while certainly filling and reasonably priced, was not memorable at all.
Panda Express
This ârestaurantâ does not understand service or quality. Ordered sweet fire chicken and the pictures show what kind of quality these kids are offering at this place. They also donât know the difference between Beijing beef and broccoli beef but they want $20 an hour. Anyone posting high reviews works for the place.
These guys are the BEST. I was running late to pick up a take-out order and when I finally showed up they were all super kind and greeted me by name. Everything was perfect and they even threw in a few extras to make it special. I also work a job that is heavily dependent on customer reviews and I can 100% confirm they go above and beyond. This team is an asset to the business and franchise. Thank you Panda King City!
Panda Express
Fast, fresh, and low-priced food. Even if there is a long line. The time until I get served my food is at maximum 9 minutes. The tables are typically clean. The floor is not sticky. The staff is friendly but you will need to watch your order being put together. Pierodicly, the staff makes mistakes. If you need fast food that is inexpensive and reasonably priced that's easy to get the kids through the line. This is the place to go.
Quick and friendly service. Food quality: just came out so was hot but it was soft (not fried long enough Food amount: lower than other pandas.
Chinatown Restaurant
Quiet environment, cheap food and good taste. I packed a portion home after eating. The waiter was very nice.
Delicious Asian restaurant in central Beaverton offering a diverse menu of Chinese cuisine, including dim sum. It's easy to end up ordering more than you can eat here. Prices are on par with other Chinese restaurants, and quality is good. All the food my family tried while here was seasoned and cooked well, and serving sizes were reasonable. Definitely a solid place so far from my experience.
Panda Express
Canât go wrong with Panda Express, definitely one of our go-to spots when weâre craving a quick meal. Itâs consistent and our family like it, especially the orange chicken and the noodles. This location has been great, the staff here are always friendly, prompt, and efficient, even during busy hours. The food comes out fresh, the portions are solid, and everythingâs clean and well-stocked. We appreciate how easy it is to swing by, grab a warm meal, and head out.
The fired rice is subpar, just not very tasty but the sides are good. Clean and fast service.
Panda Express
sometimes the food can be good, other times it can be complete garbage. Last time I went, I couldnât even eat my food. It was so bad. Iâm only giving it three stars because sometimes it does hit I canât lie but other than that the employees seem to hate their jobs for some reason although I do know that panda does pay pretty good
Ordered online and asked for it to be ready at 12:30. Right at 12:30 an employee offered me a drink for free (presumably because my food wasnât ready right then?) and I accepted. Then my order was ready at 12:31! They were incredibly busy with in person and online orders and thanked me for waiting even though I wouldnât have been bothered even if my order had been late seeing as they were so busy.
Panda Express
This is my favorite to go to. Being a diabetic I watch what I drink. Most pandas have a tea station set up but they never use it. So I decided to ask if they had black tea. The manager went ahead and started brewing fresh tea for me. I was honestly ready to drink water. This little gesture is the reason I come to this location and will continue to
One day after my birthday I go to panda express to redeem my offer for free small entry and when I scanned they said it didnât work so I I keep scanning it and it wouldnât work so I had to pay 5 dollars
