Mango Sushi Japanese Food Restaurant
What a hidden gem!!! Store front located on Danforth Toronto and they make it fresh!! The quality is top notch perrrrfect!! The taste melts in your mouth deliciously, the presentation is eye catching!! Only 2 options, California maki or Salmon maki for a ridiculous BOGO super deal!!
Absolutely disgusting. Food arrived overcooked, cold and totally dry. Cheapest possible cuts of chicken and meat used... Cheapest tasteless condiments... Nasty frozen vegetable mix in fried rice. Terrible soggy spring rolls. Everything was bitter tasting. Chop suey was raw. Even the drinks were warm as these were carelessly thrown into a hot bag and then stapled shut with a million sharp staples that will make your fingers bleed while you're trying to open the bag...horrible experience have asked Uber for full refund. Worst Chinese food I've had.
Caribbean Ocean Restaurant
A little restaurant In a plaza near Kennedy Station. The food was good. Had lunch there with a friend. Atmosphere has more older folks. It was midday so cricket was on the television. It's that type of spot. But don't let it fool you. The roti and curry goat were great. Also brought back fried rice and jerk chicken. Also good. The restaurant is a fusion of west Indian and Chinese food.
I was craving some roti tonight decided to try this place down the road from me. We ordered 2 chicken dahlpuri and 1 beef.$11.50 ea.We didn’t get dahlpuri we get plain roti which was on the doughy side. The beef curry tasted like Chinese style stir fry with curry sauce and the chicken curry was to watery and tasted somewhat like carrots. It was still good to eat but If you’re looking for authentic style, Guyanese food or West Indian food this is not it Sorry
食来食往 - 自选骨汤麻辣烫 - Malatang - Spice and Aroma
First time dine in after many times take out. The place is nice and clean. The food of course still taste so good! Will definitely come again to dine in more often!!!
Please pay attention to the order description as clients might paid extra for extra food not for fun. I ordered a malatang through doordash tonight, paid extra for fish and lamb. When I got home and started eating, I realized there was no lamb.
Tai chi Restaurant chinese food
This company was good, but not anymore, I ordered Beef in Oyster Sauce, they sent me a container full with onions and peppers. They said the cook made a mistake with my order, and saying when I order again they will not charge me for the same item. I told them credit the cost of the item back to my card, he kept saying he's busy and hang up the phone. They're refusing to credit my card for their mistakes. They even made mistakes while taking the order and corrected it, I Never got the Fish Fillets with mix vegetables but was charged for it, Disaster order!
I made a mistake and order @10pm not knowing they closed at 10, they accepted order. Excellent cx service in 2024 you usually get canceled. Thank you and sorry for the late order. The Shanghai noodles are so awesome!!!!
Tequila Sunset Bar
Great service and atmosphere. 5 star. Competitive friendly pool players. Free pool, free music. Eat before you come, cause you may find yourself here for a while.
I should have checked reviews before ordering for delivery. This review is for Holy Chow food delivery. No idea why this listing changed it's name to the Rusty Nail Pub. They made a mistake on one dish. Pork instead beef. I called right away and was told I was mistaken. They could not see the dish. The meat was white. It was not beef. While they argued with me, my son refused to eat a chicken ball. I tried one and had to chew my way through the batter. It was really chewy. Other dishes were lower quality. I asked for a refund. They told me they would send someone over to pick up the food. Nobody arrived. We stopped eating the food, worried about the quality. I experienced stomach pain that night but thank goodness we did not eat more. Sent an email to head office. No response. $40 in food ended up in the compost. Order at your own risk.
SeaSpray Restaurant
SeaSpray Restaurant has been in staple in the Beaches since they first opened in the 1980s. They’re a local, family owned restaurant, and we’ve been getting Chinese food from them for over a decade now. They serve classic Chinese faire, and their dishes are consistently good! Our favourites are their Wonton Soup, Cantonese Chow Mein, Chicken and Broccoli, Sweet and Sour Pork Tenderloin, and Chicken Soo Guy with their sweet and sour sauce. Their Wonton Soup has been a life-saver on regular, sick days and busy work days for me. Their rendition of Honey Garlic Chicken wings are also delectable, as they come smothered in a delicious honey-garlic sauce. Also, every order over $45 gets a box of their free deep-fried chicken wings, which have also become a family favourite! I highly recommend SeaSpray Restaurant if you’re looking for delicious, home-cooked Chinese food!
I've always enjoyed the variety of food as well as the customer service and not to mention the environment / atmosphere is always very friendly and warm and welcoming. The one thing that I noticed when comparing the the quality and length of time the food is cooked compared to comparing years ago to most recently I noticed that the ingredients we're much more plentiful compared to years ago as well as the flavor of the sauce and then noodles and that I just use the example of the chicken and it was by far the best chow mein with chicken and vegetables with the sauce as well as a side of spare ribs it was all very delicious. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this restaurant; the hours are very reasonable as well as the prices and availability of the food I hope this restaurant stays open forever hahaha, so to speak. Thank you to the cooks and all the workers that work as a wonderful team to ensure that the service and the food is cooked thoroughly cooked delivered on time and as well as being ready for take out. Thank you very much for running a pretty much the closest thing to a perfect restaurant even though perfection doesn't exist but this restaurant is most is most definitely the ideal Chinese restaurant and I don't think it could ever get any worse it can only get better. I love you guys!!!! 🥘👩🍳🍚🍜🫖🥢 ♥️
Hakka Garden Chinese Restaurant
I have brought many friends who know and love Hakka and they have all said this is one of the best. It’s a simple place but clean and the service is friendly. The flavours pack a punch. The food is fresh and hot. I am in love with dry chili fish and charred green beans. I also think they make a great hot and sour soup. Lunch specials are filling and very reasonable. Pakoras are good and crunchy and anything Manchurian is a must. All that being said. Why isn’t there anything sweet for after???
The food is good I would have given them a higher rating if they had honored their offer for 10% offer on cash and debit transactions (btw they don't accept credit cards). Message to the owner: please honour your commitment and if you can't, please have appropriate signage. BTW, I am putting this message only as a well-wisher....I kinda know you from IBM 🙂
Blooming Garden Chinese Cuisine 榮華苑
The food here tastes pretty good. I ordered 椒鹽雞翼 (salt and pepper chicken wings), 豉椒牛河 (beef chow fun with black bean sauce), 鹹魚雞粒炒飯 (fried rice with salted fish and diced chicken), and 中式牛柳 (Chinese-style beef tenderloin). Everything was delicious, especially the chicken wings—they were crisp and juicy. The prices are reasonable, and the servers are friendly.
This place is my new favorite for authentic Chinese (Cantonese) food! Love their chicken the most! Portions are pretty big and pricing is reasonable. Only down side is they always have lineups, too packed.
Dong Kee Chinese Restaurant
Came on a Thursday night at 9pm and we had to wait a few minutes for a table of 3. This place was still packed after normal dinner hours. This place is my new favorite place for Chinese food. I've been here in the past, but coming this time reconfirmed it's status. Their sweet and sour pork was my favorite dish as it had the perfect crisp. Their beef ho fun also had a great wok flavour, which is rare. Solid food and not too expensive. Highly recommend and would come back.
Went there on Friday at 6:00. Didn’t need to wait for 2-person seating. Eel rice is good for 4 to 6 people, eel tofu soup is included in the price . Eel tofu soup is very white peppery. Steamed chicken is yummy, garlic spareribs is super tasty. Cost me $98 including 10 % tips on the bill by default . Called to reserve for 2 - person seating, but told us they have been asking 4 - person seating to queue up upon arrival too. I think they only accept reservations for big tables and they said no need to call and reserve the eel rice. Just place order upon ordering. So it is different from the reviews I have read.
Grandeur Palace 華麗宮大酒樓
Grandeur Palace truly lived up to its name as a grand and elegant venue for a wedding celebration. I had the pleasure of hosting my wedding here along with a traditional tea ceremony, and a reception, and it was spectacular. The venue is adorned with stunning chandeliers and bright lighting that sets the perfect stage for any occasion. The staff at Grandeur Palace were attentive and genuinely invested in making our night a success. What truly sets this restaurant apart, however, is the exceptional service. Manager Franco goes above and beyond to ensure everything runs smoothly. His accommodating nature made planning our tea ceremony, wedding ceremony, and reception a breeze. Franco was flexible with our requests, assisting us with everything from tablecloth selections to chair colors and backdrops. He even helped us navigate the audiovisual equipment, ensuring that every detail was just right. Now, let’s talk about the food—an exquisite selection of Chinese cuisine that captures the essence of flavor and tradition. The highlight of the night was the Suckling Pig, perfectly crispy skin and tender meat, that left our guests raving about the dish long after. The price range at Grandeur Palace is very reasonable considering the quality of both the food and the experience. Overall, Grandeur Palace is a venue that combines excellent service with delicious food. If you’re looking for a place to celebrate a special occasion or simply indulge in some fantastic Chinese food. It offers not just a meal, but a memorable experience that you won’t soon forget. Highly recommended!
Had our wedding banquet here! The staff were very professional and accommodating with the set up. Decorations and speakers/sound system came included. They helped us set up the drinks and provided ice for us. Throughout the night we kept getting compliments on the food - very tasty, great portions, came in hot and fresh. Everything ran very smoothly and they gave us plenty of time for games and speeches. I had a fun and stress-free reception!
Mr. Congee Chinese Cuisine 龍粥記
My go-to choice for gathering. They serve really efficiently. They have choice varies from $15 per person to $60+ depends if you order the set meal. Great place for seafood, and BBQ duck. (BBQ tofu skewer is also highly recommended) You get free hot Chinese desserts. Normally red bean soup.
Overall, my visit to Mr. Congee was okay. The ambiance was nice, and the service was decent. I tried their signature congee, and while it was good, it didn't quite stand out to me. It was a solid meal, but I expected a bit more in terms of flavor and variety. If you're in the area, it's worth a try, but I wouldn't rush back.
Fortune Seafood Restaurant 福如樓
This is the kind of food and experience that is too rare nowadays in Toronto. No frills, extremely affordable, and very tasty Chinese cuisine. The menu is extremely extensive, all in Chinese, and very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is decent but you're looking at plastic table cloths and more dated furnishings. The staff are friendly but you may need to try a bit harder to get their attention sometimes. As for the dishes - nothing was too stand out, but that was fine. I was not expecting to get blown away, I eat a lot of similar cuisine. The portions were very generous and the taste is authentic. The peking duck was good but that portion was a bit small compared to other places. They were very generous with the sides for the duck, I don't think I've ever been given two helpings of cucumber / green onion / sauce before. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Don't be turned away by the small looking exterior - the restaurant is in the back of the plaza and sizable. Our total bill was $140 for 5 dishes plus a peking duck - VERY good.
If you're looking for a cheap no thrills dim sum, this is the place. Not a large selection to choose from but the most common steamed dishes are here to order plus a few not so common and worth a try. I have come here a few times for Dim Sum, not too busy at noon on a Saturday so it's relaxing. I will come back to get my Dim Sum fix again soon!
