Kim Kim Restaurant

Less cornstarch compared to others, which I like. Kim Kim has some notable competitors within the area, compared to those I would say Kim Kim has more indo flavor, which I personally don't mind. Place is clean, condiments tray is clean, restroom is clean, good place to dine in. Staff and the kitchen are efficient and fast. Menu is straightforward, lunch special for the price is a win win. Chili Chicken - Has a different taste compared to others, a bit of a sweeter taste. Overall not my top pick. Manchurian Chicken - Not your typical, with an overdose of red food coloring. Fried breaded chicken, with garlic and onions. Add some chili paste, good stuff. Masala Chicken - Same chicken with the addition of some veggies in masala sauce, with the white rice good stuff. General Tao - good mix of sweet sour spicy. Def one of the top 3 for me. Chicken Pakora - Good side dish, add that chili paste. Overall I like this place, and I go on a regular. Personally I feel there is less use of cornstarch, resulting in less to no itis after eating. Food is flavorful, environment is nice, prices are good. Overall would recommend a try.

Hakka Food is my favorite, so I have tried several hakka restaurants in GTA. Kim Kim is a top hakka restaurant in Scarborough. I think that the ingredients are good and food handling is good (vegetables are CLEAN - No soil) My prepared lunch!

This has long been a favourite from living in the Beach. We’ve moved to Durham and still worth the drive for top shelf pan Asian food. The takeaway process efficient, friendly and appreciative. Portions beyond generous and price point EXCELLENT.

As much as I support local businesses, this place has been serving me and my family since 2015. I always receive fresh hot food either lunch or dinner. The owner is a fantastic person and always provides exceptional customer service. I would highly recommend everyone to try their signature dishes.

Spicy Dragon Restaurant

Always do take out after my shift in the evening for their Hakka food. Huge portions and taste good as well. We always get the authentic Manchurian fried rice, chili fish, veggie pakora. We get pick up within 10 mins of order.

I ordered from Spicy Dragon expecting a nice meal, but what I got was a nightmare. Halfway through eating, I found a roach in my food! It was an absolutely revolting experience, and I felt sick just thinking about it. I contacted the staff immediately, but their response was underwhelming. Went back for a refund and they did not want to refund the full bill and the reasoning was because it was $100. After going back and forth with them they did give me a refund for the total bill. No one should have to deal with this level of poor hygiene, especially from a restaurant. Needless to say, I won’t be eating here again and would advise others to think twice before dining here. Cleanliness should be a top priority for any food establishment!

Masumi our server was very energetic and very accommodating! Best service. Food was tasty! Overall experience was indeed 5 star. They make my mom’s birthday very memorable, with a personalized printed photo and cake with candle. Love it!

We had an amazing dining experience. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. On top of that, the service was outstanding. The staff Hafees was friendly & attentive. Highly Recommended🍛🔥.

Small Pot Restaurant

Had some rice noodles in tomato broth, stir fried rice cake, fried tofu and sour and spicy fish. Most dishes were delicious and mildly spicy in a good way. The tomato rice noodles were excellent too for those who don’t like spicy food. Service was friendly, and atmosphere was simple but clean and comfortable.

The food here is very delicious, especially their Rice Wine Glutinous Rice Balls and Tofu Rice Noodles. The environment is also very diligent, with a lot of free space and spacious seats, especially their very large tables, which are enough to accommodate a lot of dishes. The service staff is very attentive and very enthusiastic, and will also introduce the contents of the dishes.

The Royal Chinese Restaurant

I ordered shrimp fried rice and showed the woman how dark I like it only for them to give me opposite and only put 5 small shrimps filled with rice. I didn’t pay almost $25 for shrimp fried rice with only 5 pieces of small shrimps filled. I also got sweet chilli chicken and asked her if it’ll be sweet and she said yes. No sweetness at all. It didn’t even taste like chicken, it tastes like fats with flour mix…food is disgusting. I feel taken advantage of. It seems like you actually have to eat in the restaurant to get good quality food. The pictures I showed in the review is nothing compared to what I received. I spent $45 here and I’m not really impressed especially given I was hungry and got it as take out so I wasn’t able to even see the food before I left. The audacity for them to ask for a tip for a takeout. I’m happy I didn’t tip because I would have been furious if I tipped and got this disgusting food. I ended up throwing the food out it was just gross. Never will I buy food from this place again. It was my first time and worse. I live across the street and thought I should buy it…but never again I’ll just continue going to sushi boil next door…food is better there and great quality for good value.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant, the servers are amazing & super friendly, all original over 15 years. The food is great every time. Lots of choices, I love the crab as you can see with the minced pork on tip delicious with plan white rice. Lot of tables. Don't miss out of this place!

Great portions at great prices. Really good fried chicken wings that came with the take out order after hitting the minimum. Everything was very tasty except the sweet and sour pork. It's my favorite dish, but it was very disappointing. Tasted like orange chicken which was weird, would not recommend this dish. Would recommend and come back to try other dishes.

all delicious friendly service They took care of my little girl and me incredibly, we will definitely return the plate is enough

Seatown West Indian Restaurant

Always come here for the fried shark. The gentlemen who own this establishment are always around and very nice. Bartenders are also friendly. Foods I recommend besides the shark would be their chicken wings, channa, ginger fried rice. All very tasty and price is not expensive.

My husband loves this spot.. We finally tried it. He got beef fried rice and pepper wings. Soooo good. We have this a few times a month. The pepper wings are cooked to perfection 👏. Great spot. I crave this meal all the time! Will try more of their menu

The Avenue Restaurant and Lounge

The most delicious food and the most delicious portions at Avenue on Bellamy Rd. Tonight was our first dinner out for the New Year and we chose to go to Avenue. Greeted by friendly and courteous staff, we were shown to our table and each given a menu with an assortment of dishes. Ranging from Meat to Vegetarian to Seafood, Avenue has everyone’s palate covered. Looking at the photos you can see we ordered a lot. Pepper Shrimp, Pepper Fish, Chicken Fried Rice, Black Bean Fish and Springrolls were our main dishes. We had vegetable fried rice on the side. For beverages we had soft drinks, tea and a Pina Colada (see photo) and all were delicious. Also, you will appreciate the portion sizes - they are huge. One dish can easily cover two people. Well seasoned and prepared, all dishes were delicious and flavorful. Shout out to the chef who made sure the garnishes of onion and cabbage and carrots were plentiful! There is a lot of free parking outside of the venue, and, if you are celebrating a special occasion, there is a bonus space that can be rented (check with management). There is no children’s menu so be mindful of that. This establishment is children friendly. We paid $35 per person on average. Shout out to Judy, one of the manager’s at Avenue! ♥️✨

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had the pleasure of dining at this amazing fusion spot, and it exceeded all my expectations! The combination of Chinese and Guyanese flavors is something special. We had a combo seafood appetizer plate consisting of pepper shrimp, pepper fish and chicken wings, very generous portion topped off with great pepper sauce and seafood sauce. Also had the crab and corn soup with a chicken fried rice. Everything is perfectly seasoned with Caribbean spices, a beautiful blend of sweet, savory, and spicy! Portions are generous, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Our server was Brianna who was extremely hospitable. If you're craving something unique and packed with flavor, this place is a must visit

Number One Chinese Restaurant

Located near Pape Ave. and Mortimer Ave., walking distance from Pape subway station, Number One Chinese restaurant is a great little local gem serving classic Chinese Cantonese dishes. Featured in the images are: - Pan fried Rice noodle with beef: a Cantonese classic rice noodle dish. Savory and often a favourite across the ages. Main flavour base is soya sauce and not spicy at all. Keep in mind, if you're looking for these on the menu, you'll find them in the 'Cantonese' section and not the noodle section. Solid 4/5 as some might find this dish a bit on the oily side (note: not a fault of Number One. Typically, making this rice noodles requires a certain level of oil to keep them from sticking in the wok). - Fried bean curd with beef: on the menu, this is made with fried bean curd but our family likes it with the regular white tofu. This is what I so appreciate about Number One. They were willing to change the dish to the white tofu. Either way, the dish tastes great, savory and easy to eat but the white tofu just makes it so much smoother and goes so well with steamed rice. 5/5 - Pan fried noodle with chicken and mixed vegetable: this is also a classic Chinese dish, pan fried thin yellow noodles with chicken and mixed vegetable. I appreciate that the dish isn't too salty and is an overall crowd pleaser. Note: some restaurants make these yellow thin noodles crispy fried. Number One makes them pan fried. We like these noodles regardless so it's not a game changer for us. Flavour and taste this dish gets 4/5 What sets Number One apart is their friendly customer service. Happy to visit this restaurant again!

One typical Chinese Choy Suey restaurant, ordered from the Chinese online food app. Got the beef fried rice combo. It just tasted like the items you get from any food court, however, the so call Wonton is technically a deep fried Wonton sheet, no meat or shrimp whatsoever. Learn a lesson from ordering with those pretty pictures, lol

Charcoal Kebab House 正宗维吾尔族餐厅

I recently dined in here and it was absolutely delighted by the experience. The service was exceptional; One of the server, Khush was incredibly attentive, friendly. They went out of their way to ensure we had a fantastic dining experience. The food was outstanding, with each dish bursting with authentic Xinjiang flavors. The lamb skewers were perfectly seasoned and tender, and the hand-pulled noodles were simply divine. Every bite was a delightful journey through the rich and diverse cuisine of Xinjiang. I highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy delicious food paired with top-notch service. I'll definitely be returning soon.

Honestly i have eaten at the scarborough branch and it was simply amazing! The food couldn’t be better. However i have picked up this plate today and the amount of oil in this dish is not normal and it doesn’t taste well, however i ate it because i was really hungry and it wasn’t cheap. however by the end, of hair shows up in the middle and it doesn’t look like a nice one!

CHENNAI SUPER KINGS RESTAURANT

The food was really authentic and particularly the chutneys and sides are like typical South Indian taste. Manila was the server and was really great with the serving and recommendations. Must visit for a South Indian food

The ambiance is perfect for any CSK enthusiast, with its yellow theme and wall stickers. I ordered the mutton thali, which was decent, but I'm sure the biriyani or another dish would have been a better choice. 💛
