I loveeeeee BAO so had been wanting to come visit for months after seeing them on Instagram. Had the spicy tofu bao to start off - perfect spiciness and flavored tofu cubes. It was a great choice for my breakfast at 2:30pm. The second bun i got the signature pork bun recommended by the gentleman at the register. And IT BLEW ME AWAY!!!!! It was super juicy and tender. The skin was slightly sweetened and balanced beautifully with the savory filling. Just a side note: I am never a pork bao girl because I really dislike the fatty part and just weird texture I get from all sorts of pork bao filling i have tried so far. But THIS was different. I can't be happier with the recommendation. The shop is kind of hidden away from the bustling Flushing crowd which was nice. There wasn't much decoration in the store but it's quiet and clean. P.s. 2 big baos were only $5.25. Marking it on my map to come back for some other options next time!

Love baos so was excited to see this place pop up! They make really great snacks. The walnut one is delicious- didn’t expect to have jujubes mixed in! The filling for the meat one was tasty too and always love a good vegetable bun. I liked that it had big pieces of tofu in it. Was not busy at all when we stopped by on a weekend afternoon. If there’s no one at the register, just call for the manager out loud and someone will come out!

I've only been here at Prestige Catering for family style lunches and dinner meals (have not tried the dim sum). There are a few notable entrees that I've only seen served here which makes them unique. Must try the Pineapple beef, super tender beef sauteed with peppers and pineapple chunks. Fried Geoduck or geoduck and sashimi platters are very impressive. Very fresh. Canned tea, fresh tea, beer and soft drinks available. Prestige Catering also shares a space with the Wagyu place on the second floor.

Went there for $4.35 (L,M,S) same price dimsum , ordered shrimp dumplings (Har Gow) which is special for $5.25 and taste great. The pork ribs which is a bit hard and not tasty, then chicken feet its OK. I then lack of confidence on rest of their food quality/value and left for only 3 dishes. It's not their food is bad, just compared to other options around, I will go for to other dim sum restaurants nearby.

Ordered a bunch of different dishes to have for lunch throughout the week because of how reasonable I felt the prices were. None of them were great but were really what I would expect from an informal Chinese takeout restaurant. It feels like each was a lot of food but the bulk is very rice-heavy. All of them were fairly bland and definitely needed both more seasoning and more sauce. It was worth a try but I really don't feel the need to get takeout from here again.

My son said this is the best teriyaki chicken , so we made a trip there this morning for 4 orders. Very generous portion, a lot of chicken! The male worker at the front was very friendly & gave us a free 2liter sprite. Thank you!

This is my second time dining here, and it never disappoints! The flavors of the authentic Fuzhou cuisine are incredible—everything is fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The steamed glutinous rice with crab is a standout, packed with rich seafood flavors, and the red yeast pork is tender and delicious. The service is warm and attentive, making the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

Fuzhou-style seafood restaurants that offer authentic dishes at affordable prices. Great fresh food and seafood. Karaoke downstairs that has only a few tables.

I had the taro rice casserole and the grass carp casserole, and they were honestly pretty good. My favorite part was the crispy layer of the rice casserole, it’s so good! However the grass carp was a bit too oily for my taste.

My family and I initially found this place through a YouTuber and decided to check it out. First off, the atmosphere felt very cozy. The tables, chairs, decoration, plates, etc were all very nice and cultural. Next, oh my God the service is welcoming yet fast and efficient. Our server was such a sweetheart. She answered all our questions and helped me find some vegetarian friendly dishes. We've been there multiple times and every single time she recognizes us and remembers what dishes we enjoy. Last but not least, the food is amazing. Their clay pot rice is prepared fresh everyday and has so much flavor. The tofu casserole is made with silky egg tofu with a fried exterior skin. The brown sauce was savory yet light. HIGHLY recommend. If you're ever in the area, please try this place!!! They're so underrated and deserve to be discovered by the world. It's so impressive that the front of house is run by one person and the kitchen has only one chef!! We absolutely love this place and will be back very soon!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lost Shoes Chinese Barbecue in Flushing, the experience was okay. Great service and but the food could use some improvement, the flavors didn’t quite meet expectations and the skewers were very dry. Worth a visit for the late night snack experience, but not a top pick for the food.

The skewers were just ok, got the lamb and beef and there were a lot of fatty pieces… one of the lamb pieces tasted sour. Their strong suit is definitely their other dishes, I am obsessed with chicken bone and they have at least 3 variations of chicken bone. The regular chicken bone was rubbed in spicy cumin dry sauce which was delicious. we also got the fried chicken bone which was spicy and garlicky and perfect with beer. Another dish I loved was their tinfoil duck blood. They don’t skimp on portions here and the tinfoil was filled with clear noodles, bean sprouts, and duck blood. I would definitely be back to try their other stir fried and specialty dishes. Come for the chicken ones! Beer is .99 for Budweiser and corona. The service was attentive and friendly.

I had an amazing experience at Xiao Ye in Flushing! The skewers were incredibly flavorful, especially the lamb skewers and beef tendon—perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. The atmosphere was lively and authentic, making it a great spot for a late-night gathering with friends. The staff was friendly and welcoming, though the food took a little while to arrive, but it was definitely worth the wait.

Friday night dinner, no wait for a table of 6. Food was really good and servers were super attentive. Scan QR code and order on your phone. Favorite was the scallop vermicelli and the fish with tofu. Vibes were very chill and comfy.

Ordered a soup here and it is quite good. The price is okay. The only downside is that I got really thirsty after having the soup, I am guessing they put a bit too much of MSG in it? But if you are craving some spicy food, you should give it a try.

No reviews... Until now! The texture of the rice vermicelli is devine! I don't care about no parking nearby or really limited seating inside. Wear your ragged shirts, come here, and slurp away! Their beef tenders melt in your mouth.

My family had reserved the restaurant for lunch for a private event. It was nice that we had the whole restaurant to ourselves. Also, we got special attention from the owner/chef. The owner cooked the food and brought the dishes directly to our table from the kitchen. The chef arranged the entire lunch menu. We got to taste some of the popular and famous dishes. Many of the food were my personal favorite. Start with some fried chicken nuggets and braised pork bellies. Then there was the squid. I loved the way the squids cooked with the green bell peppers. Next was one of my personal favorites: twice-cooked pork. I loved it because I remember eating it growing up. The Mapo Tofu was excellent. It's got nice flavors with a little kick of spicy. I can't recall all the dishes because the food kept coming from the kitchen, and I barely had time to take pictures of them. It was a lovely meal. Everything tasted great. The service was excellent. And the dishes go great with a glass of icy cold beer. If you are in the area, you got to come in and give it a try.

Hidden inside a bar looking place, walk in and the restaurant is in the back. Ordered a few things to try it out and wasn't that impressed with the food. Got the spicy mung bean jello salad 川北涼粉, you'll be eating the spicy peppers when you eat it... kinda annoying, ended up throwing most of it out. twice cooked pork 四川回鍋肉 was really oily but decent flavor and eggplant in garlic sauce 魚香茄子 was also very greasy and drowning in oil, a bit sweeter in flavor. Overall this felt like a regular Chinese take out spot and the food was average for me. Maybe the fish is better since I saw people ordering that.

Childhood favorite of mine. Classic spot to eat good food for a cheap price. Yes, service isn’t supreme, but it is $10, there isn’t much to expect. That price is nearly unbeatable. They are nice enough, and you really don’t need to talk to them to get your food. I just point. Large selection, though kind of sad there is no more fish. Thanks to the large selection there’s always something there I’ll enjoy. Atmosphere isn’t a 10/10, but I’d love a good dine. Very casual but given the price and food it makes up for the other shortcomings. Love this place

$6 for a meal of rice and four dishes with a soup. They have a good selection of Chinese dishes (approx 20-30 dishes), including vegetables, pork, chicken, tofu, pork and some seafood. Most of the dishes are average tasting. Soup was tofu, egg and seaweed. Overall, good portions at cheap prices. Can’t expect gourmet for this price. 🤷‍♀️

If you like Japanese onigiri or Korean kimbap, I think you'll like these Taiwanese sticky purple rice rolls aka fan tuan 饭团 (stuffed rice rolls). At Nuan Xin Rice Roll, they’re densely packed mini rice burritos, stuffed with sticky purple rice, pork floss, vegetables, and your protein of choice, all held together with a seaweed wrapped around the ingredients. Husband and I got the eel and black pepper beef rice rolls, however there’s a large variety of choices at this stall inside the mini food court. When you order, don't forget to choose a sauce to go with your rice roll! The black pepper beef rice roll already comes with black pepper sauce, however we added mayo to the eel rice roll (delicious, a must get). You actually can taste every single ingredient when you bite in. & Because of the purple rice, the roll is slightly sweet and has a sticky texture. Also, be careful when you eat this because you might have a little bit of seaweed stuck on your teeth after every bite haha What we ordered: 🍚 $6.50 eel rice roll 🍚 $6.25 black pepper beef rice roll 🥛 $3 large soy milk 📍 Nuan Xin Rice Roll 暖心饭团 (136-55 Roosevelt Ave, Flushing, NY 11354) Open daily 8am-8pm

I’m sorry I don’t know what the 5 stars are for, this is very unusual tasting food. I’ve never tried anything like this before and I eat all sorts of food. I ordered crab rice roll and it came with pork floss in it…I can’t eat pork…so that got thrown away. The spicy chicken was okay, it tasted like it was flavored with spicy Korean sauce, which I like, but I thought this was Chinese so was confused(must not be Chinese?). The veggie rice roll came with a little lettuce, a little radish, and a lot of Mayo…they need to change their veggie roll and make it better. Lettuce and Mayo does not suffice. Make a spicy tofu option. The rolls themselves are so unusual. I never had purple rice like this. It’s so thick, must be glutinous purple rice. I was so incredibly full after one roll, and they look small. Small but heavy! The soy milk and fruity sweet drinks are good. I would come back for those. I’m not sure who the target market is for with the food, but probably not me.

Really amazing food here with flavors that leave your taste buds second guessing food! New comers, people who are regulars, really awesome. Only didn't like bottle options and the ones I wanted we not available, but spot is fabulous i will return!

Went to this restaurant with a party of ~15 people, and as expected the cost was high. The waitresses are nice and the food served was good, but with so many people, it was hard to tell what was going on. Overall though, some dishes were amazing and I highly recommend the lamb chops. Beware though, most dishes here are spicy.
