Kungfu Hot Pot

266reviews

I recently dined at here for its soft opening, and it was a fantastic experience! The hotpot ingredients were incredibly fresh, from the crisp vegetables to the high-quality meats and seafood. The presentation was beautifully done, with everything arranged neatly and appealingly. The service was another highlight—quick, efficient, and attentive without being intrusive. The staff ensured our table was well-stocked, and they were happy to accommodate any requests. Overall, is a great spot for a satisfying and visually pleasing hotpot experience. Highly recommended!

Came here for Thanksgiving with my family and have to say we really enjoyed this new hotpot restaurant! I am writing this for a promotion but I would still have given this 5 stars because the dining experience was one of the nicest I’ve had in a hotpot restaurant (and I’ve been to quite a few in the Flushing/Queens area). My parents are not vegan but my fiancé and I are and they were helpful in accommodating by making us vegan broths that were not on the menu. They had lots of great veggie, tofu, noodle, meat and seafood options to choose from their menu. Quality of the food was also excellent and they even made us a custom vegan sauce from the sauce bar.

Cafe 48 & Restaurant

I got the shrimp fried rice and shrimp dumplings this morning, and it was amazing. The fried rice tasted very unique and different and flavorful the atmosphere is wonderful a very nice lady helped me out. Prices are reasonable. Portions are nice and big. Definitely will be back.

Update: service was slow not sure why only ordered a simple thai noodle dish and it takes very long wait. It's very salty and makes my tong tingle, will not order this again. My friend and I were craving Hainan 🐔 so I suggested we give this place a try since it's located half way between us. To both of us the taste of the chicken was better than expected, we didn't have high expectations. The sauces were good but on the salty side, it was good they put in side containers so use at your own discretion. The menu is extensive I am surprised what looks like a small store front can offer such a variety. I am going back to try some of their other offerings. Paid street parking available. Only a few tables but good for a quick bite. The only complaint is a small group of people/employee/owner?/delivery person smoking in front of the store making the experience unpleasant.

TiHu The Noodle House

44reviews

If you're a fan of Taiwanese cuisine, tihu the noodle house is a must-visit. I tried the spicy noodle soup with stir-fried beef on top, and it was absolutely delicious. Even as a spicy food lover, the heat level was just right. The friendly service and cozy atmosphere make the dining experience even better. The owner is very welcoming.Overall, it's a great spot for authentic Taiwanese flavors!

Disappointing Experience at Taiwanese Cuisine Restaurant I recently visited a restaurant that promoted itself as offering authentic Taiwanese cuisine. Unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. I ordered the "Braised Beef Noodle" and "Salt & Pepper Chicken." The braised beef noodle was particularly disappointing. It lacked authenticity and flavor, with a bland taste and only five thin pieces of beef that seemed to have been sitting in the refrigerator or freezer for a while. The beef lacked the fresh taste I was hoping for and had a freezer-burnt flavor instead. The salt and pepper chicken was another letdown. It lacked seasoning entirely, forcing me to add salt and pepper myself at home. Despite the presence of basil, there was no noticeable basil flavor or aroma in the chicken. Additionally, the flour coating was crispy but soggy, likely due to an incorrect frying ratio. The restaurant's interior decoration is warm and inviting. However, the service left much to be desired. The front lady was unfriendly and had a poker face, which did not contribute positively to the dining experience. Additionally, it seems the owner does monitor reviews but does not update the menu on Google Maps. I noticed that the first review was posted 9-10 months ago, and since then, many dishes have been added or removed without any updates online. This lack of transparency makes it challenging for customers to know what to expect. Overall, this restaurant did not live up to its claim of serving authentic Taiwanese cuisine. My experience was disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend it to others seeking genuine Taiwanese flavors.

Amy's Chinese Restaurant

231reviews

My family has been coming here since I was a kid. They are so amazing, Cathy found out I had a gluten allergy and helped to modify dishes so that they were safe for me to order. I really appreciate how much they care about their customers. The food has always been amazing too! Always our go to take out spot!

Amy's is a lovely gem. Blink and you will miss it but for such a small place they turn out some very good American Chinese food. The staff is pleasant and efficient, the area is clean and they do have a sauce assortment available to patrons. (This may not seem like a big deal but I don't see it much anymore). The food was hot, generous and flavorful and most importantly not full of oil or grease. The egg rolls are crisp and not too salty. The vegetables were crisp and fresh along with a sauce I cannot express fully. Spicy but not overwhelming with a nice sweetness. I usually cannot finish an entire meal but Amy's was too good to pass up

Chow Chinese Food

High quality ingredients, they arent skimpy with the protein and it tastes really good. Best Chinese take out in East Queens.

Just ordered takeout Delivered by Uber eats..The food was gross ,szheuan beef swimming in oil ..beef chow fun horrible. Uber eats says not a reason for a refund. Stay far away from this place.

Samwongahk Chinese Restuarant

The food is pretty decent. I was disappointed with tangsuyuk. It barely had any meat and was mostly flour or breading.. it didn't taste like anything. The sauce made it marginally better. The rest of the food I had there was pretty decent. They also have parking behind the restaurant which is a big plus.

Long time standing Korean style Chinese food. Portions are huge to ensure every one will be so filled. The slice beef pieces are always humongous as well . This is a place to eat casual , not for its presentations . Food were always served super speedy. Parking lot in the back . There are steps at both front and back entrance .

Happy Corner 13

My bestie and I came here for take-away dim sum. She has been coming here for awhile. It was so so good. It was a great “last meal” before my flight home. Everything was freshly made. Shrimp rice rolls, har gow, sticky rice, sticky salty dumplings (my fave!), lo bo gao (turnip cake), stuffed eggplant and stuffed peppers. It was all delicious and super nostalgic to what I had as a kid. I’m glad we didn’t have to trek all the way to flushing to get authentic dim sum! ❤️ This made my heart and taste buds so happy!

Order this for lunch at the office, the price and portion is sooo worth!! I ordered [roasted duck clay pot rice with pan-fried egg], the rice is a purposely overcooked a bit for the crunchy texture and there’s a good amount of meat!

Panda Garden Chinese Restaurant

i ordered 2 egg rolls and 2 chicken broccoli’s one with no broccoli, they still added broccoli. didn’t specify if the eggroll was pork (thankfully we called and found out). and their chicken tastes so weird. i do not recommend.

Panda Garden's food was typical Chinese food. The cost of a lunch box was reasonable. It's a quiet place if you want to come by for a decent Chinese meal.
