Our go-to in the neighborhood for Chinese. The sesame shrimp and the general tso's tofu are both excellent. The lomein is always well seasoned and delicious. I've never been disappointed!

Best Chinese food in the neighborhood! Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu wrong tastes amazing. Super affordable prices too. Can only which is kind of a bummer but definitely worth it. You definitely need to try it out if you haven’t done so already.

Second time here, everything was delicious! All my friends enjoyed a lot. I like the pineapple sausage fried rice, and the mao xue wang was absolutely delicious! Definitely recommend for friends gatherings!

I guess I have to report this restaurant to 311 for health and safety purposes. 3 consecutive times I have ordered food from them even with instructions to prepare with very less oil but it seems I get them pissed by stating that. And I even called to speak with the manager and that wasn’t offered. Let’s be careful what we eat outside. I do not recommend this restaurant if your health is important to you. They are serving heart attacks.

Our fav place to eat in NYC! We were so sad when this place closed. They have reopened with the next generation and it is just as good. My husband is Cuban and the black beans, maduros, tostones, and fried chicken are perfect!

Great place I have been coming with my husband and children for the last 23 years food is amazing I love the house special fried rice and the crackling chicken also the bread is so good I give this place a 10/10 🙏🎉❣️

Loved the stewed pork burger! Very clean restaurant too. Reasonably priced. Delicious noodles that they recommend be eaten when served as opposed as “to go”. Limited seating but some standing room at counters as well. Located on Amsterdam across from the Beacon. Definitely worth trying!

Yay for an affordable option in the neighborhood where they DON'T guilt you for a minimum of 22% in tips, just for taking your order! In the last few years, even the formerly "affordable" neighborhood options have been pushing $20 on entrees, and I just got a meal here for $13 after taxes! Welcome! By the way, if you like spicy, order the extra spicy. The regular spicy was not at all 😬

We’re no strangers to paying for exceptional dining experiences, often visiting 2- and 3-star Michelin restaurants. That said, this restaurant is seriously expensive for what it offers—$34 for fried rice and over $20 for dumplings in a casual, no-frills setting. Unfortunately, the food was average at best, lacking the standout flavors or creativity you’d expect at this price point. Worse, the decor, presentation, and service didn’t come close to justifying the cost. Our rating reflects the price point the restaurant has set for itself, which falls into the territory of a 1- to 2-star Michelin experience. At these prices, expectations are naturally higher, and this restaurant simply does not deliver. If you’re looking for high-quality Chinese cuisine in NYC, there are many better options.

Service was outstanding. I’m typically not a huge dumpling fan, but the husband was craving a so I obliged. I searched for the highest rated dumpling restaurant in the upper west side and RedFarm fit the bill. We got the soup dumplings, crab and lamb, pac man and 5 flavor. The sweet waitress was patient with me explaining each one. And she was spot on. They were all excellent. But the soup was hands down my fav - esp on this cold winter day. All of the servers came by and checked on us so much we thought they must be owners. Turns out- they’re just a great team that takes pride in their work! Cheers to me for this great find :-)

The eggrolls were changed to a different size, But yet are the same price. I spent $18 on 1 order of scallion pancakes and two eggrolls two egg rolls were so small. They’re a small as the duck sauce packets, Not sure why they’ve been doing this lately.

Oh my god, this is the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a restaurant! I had just sat down and didn’t even have time to look at the menu when the waitress asked me to order. When she brought the food, she practically threw it onto our table. She even forgot the drinks we ordered.

Jing Fong, a classic dim sum establishment, brings the flavors of Chinatown to the Upper West Side with its authentic offerings. Known for its long-standing reputation, this restaurant offers a nostalgic dining experience that stays true to its roots. During a recent dinner visit, I explored a variety of classic dim sum dishes, all served piping hot and skillfully prepared. Among the highlights were the shrimp dumplings (har gow), which were delicately wrapped and bursting with fresh, flavorful filling. The rice rolls, with their silky texture and savory soy-based sauce, also stood out as exceptional. For dessert, the sesame balls provided a delightful conclusion—crispy on the outside, soft and sweet within, and a refreshing contrast to the savory courses. While the décor and ambiance may feel a bit dated, the focus here is unmistakably on the food. Its convenient location makes it an accessible destination for those seeking an authentic Chinese dining experience in the neighborhood. Jing Fong UWS delivers satisfying and traditional dim sum dishes that are well worth a visit.

Loved it. Got my favorite (and hard to get) snow pea sprouts, soup dumplings, and fried rice. The duck my friend got was tasty as well. The people who worked there were nice and professional.

They used to be really good. They used to be a go to Chinese restaurant in the area but now they they cook so disgusting like their food taste like animal food like as if they’re feeding animals I think they’re very racist and I think that they have Unprofessional attitude to the area in the community. I never want to eat here. The food is nasty. I don’t even know how they still open.

The food and attitudes smells and taste like it's been sitting for months in that dirty box on the counter please change the dirty box and clean your mouth out lady

I do not understand why this Chinese restaurant has 4.1 stars and they sell old food. I literally had to throw both of my orders in the garbage after eating some. Not knowing how bad it was. The fried chicken had some kind of black bacteria that my boyfriend noticed after tasting 🤢🤢 the rice had a garbage smell to it with garlic sauce for a cover up. The shrimp were extremely chewy, we felt like we were chewing for so long before spitting it out. It smelled so bad that I had to take my garbage out IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called the store to notify and they did offer to give me my money back but ONLY IF I GAVE THE FOOD BACK but what did they want old food back for ? 🤔 it’s clear that this is a normal cycle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never leave bad reviews but this one right here took the cake !!!

Im born & raised NYC. This is my Favorite Chinese spot in the entire city! When I ask for my go to order anywhere else it’s never as good or as reasonably priced. The same crew has been here for decades & the costumer service is excellent from my friends here at china king. Couldn’t recommend a better place in Harlem!

Delivery was expedient and expeditious, the courier did not smell he appeared clean, his finger nails and hands were clean. The chicken was thoroughly cooked with a nice crisp. The shrimp was plentiful, clean, thoroughly cooked and didn’t have an after taste like if it was cleaned with a product of any sort. The broccoli was fresh and plentiful.

Best Chinesse restaurant in Harlem. I’m super picky been eating here since I was a kid. If I’m in Harlem I will only eat here or make my friends go here instead of going to one of the other dozen Chinesse restaurant we come across. Love Love Love them
