NEW GOLDEN CITY CHINESE (UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT )
Bad service, rude, distespectful, food is damage like the chicken.
Fortune Buffet
Wow, what a vast selection! Sushi, hibachi, Asian cuisine, and pastries - you name it! I'm eager to return and indulge again. This place is a must-visit; you won't be disappointed! The service is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The food, pricing, and overall comfort level are all top-notch, reliable, and reasonable. If I could, I'd give it more than 5 stars!
This place is a little interesting, the food wasn't that good but they have a hibachi available with raw food šš¼The bathrooms were dirty, none of my 4 kids liked the cookies šWhat I enjoyed the most is that I only paid $40 for 6 people š¤·š»āāļø
Old Town Buffet
We came got seated right away and very nice service from the two kind ladies. The food is very dry good but some of the veggies are rubbery. Would have been five stars but the inside looks like itās ran down
This is my kind of Chinese buffet, love the relaxed lighting, food was all the stuff I want at a Chinese buffet, and the hot tea was very good too. I tried some of the sushi, being naive I put far too much wasabi on š
Triple Star
Lost a customer. Found maggots in my food and horrible customer service!! Very rude, very nasty attitudes. Gave me a hard time about a refund..All she was worried about was the egg roll that came with the order (which I accidentally left behind). You would think theyād be more worried about why they have maggots in their food to begin with, no?! Never will I return to this āestablishmentā again. Thought Iād let current/potential customers know. 5/25/24
I had their food twice. First time order was perfect; food was ready on time,Rainbow Shrimp, shrimp toast and poo poo platter were excellent. Second visit,on time, but Triple Delicacy was missing the pork, had beef and chicken only and enough carrots to choke a horse. Very disappointed. House lo mein was good. Restaurant dining area is in very poor shape, good for take out only.
Lee Chen Chinese Restaurant
This restaurant was Golden Pacific and for years it was my go to Chinese food restaurant. I enjoyed the chicken wings and they made my fried rice nicely spicy, it was perfect. The restaurant is under new ownership now as Lee Chen. I tried it once. I only have one word for the taste of the food, yuk! The wings had just a plain chicken taste, no flavor. My rice was terrible. My trash can ate well.
Food is very delicious everything I've bought there has good quality. Prices are reasonable as well.
Bamboo moon Chinese&japanese Bubble Tea
I can't rate on service or atmosphere because I got instacart delivery. But I can tell you everything was delicious! Crab rangoons, egg rolls, chicken fingers, general gao's Chicken, boneless spare ribs & fried rice. All of it was absolutely delicious!! Our new go-to Chinese food place! My son likes sushi so he will try that next. We both love pad Thai so we'll give that a go someday too!
Before I give you any information you must know that my husband has a really bad stomach and what I mean by that is he knows before anybody else if the food is good or bad because of his stomach and the aches that he gets usually. We have a tradition that on Thanksgiving we usually buy Chinese food and in the last year the place that we usually have been going to was only mediocre at best. Knowing that a lot of places are closed this day we try to do our research and try to see what was open for Thanksgiving of 2024. From what it looks like on the outside it looks like a husband and wife team together doing the orders and making everything together. So because of the holiday I decided that it was best that I placed the order with giving them enough time to prepare the order. My order came to roughly $275 and so I gave them about 3 hours to prepare my order. I strongly think that we made the right choice because everything came out exactly the way that we had asked and requested. Even so much as the extra duck sauce was perfectly given. Me and my family of six can honestly say that this food was the best Chinese food that we have actually had in a long time everything was seasoned properly and didn't taste nasty what we usually expect from the place like this. It is located in Randolph and I believe that they used to use the Randolph sink water as a ways of cooking their rice and everything and you could definitely taste it on the food that's why I was so wary to begin with of ordering from this place. But they must have heard the news and definitely change their approach using filtered water instead. I can say that my husband does not have any stomach issues it is the next day usually by now we wouldn't see him for the next maybe day day and a half so that already is a good sign. And most of the food was pretty good. There were a few minor things that I personally would have liked differently but I guess every person is different.. I prefer my general gsoa chicken to be crispy yet glazed it is hard to achieve and I do understand that it is the holiday so they must be swamped. But they're run through the meal was pleasant. We will definitely be coming back thank you bamboo Moon for making our family have a great enjoyable meal.
China Sun
We ordered something simple on Thanksgiving Day. Fried wontons were so good. The food was great we had a lot of disappointing Chinese food restaurant experiences lately and I have to say we tried this one out and it was just good. Thank you for making us the fried wontons and boneless spare ribs! =]
Ordered from this place with a coworker. Got their chow fun noodles. They had no taste and I had to add soy sauce for some type of flavor. I also had their pork dumplings they were kinda dry and had a weird taste when trying them, so I only had one. My coworker got the crab ragoon and said it was alright but that's a hard thing to mess up. When I got home I immediately got sick. Only thing they have going for them is their pricing and maybe their crab ragoon
China 1
I wanted so much to like this place so I could have somewhere close to work that had good food fast. The egg drop soup was delicious, however the chicken with broccoli was way less than stellar mostly because I asked twice for the dish to be made spicy and with steamed rice. He even repeated my order back to me. Why did I get terrible tasting, not fried rice? And it was not spicy in the least. Oh well, it wasn't meant to be.
Upon giving this location another chance due to being short on time. I have reevaluated my review and increased the rating by two stars. We ordered three dinners. A General Tso Chicken, Shrimp Lo Mein, Orange Chicken, Grab Rangoon, and Pan Fried Dumplings. All with fried rice. The primary ingredients to each dish seemed a little less than average. Almost as if the chicken was prepackaged not made fresh. There was very few shrimp in the Lo Mein. While the crust for the Crab Rangoon tasted stale. However, and this is a big however. The sauces for each of the dishes was extremely flavorful. Provided in ample amounts. Making even the most mediocre of vegetable or meat taste amazing. The portions were slightly larger than on our previous visit. With all the food being hot. While I can't give them five stars. I can honestly give them four due to cost vs value. For a quick, decent Chinese take out night. When you don't feel like or have the time to drive elsewhere. China 1 is definitely a good alternative.
Panda Express
I got the largest dyed hair in my rice but that isnāt even my main concern, the ladies in front have such attitude I tried talking Spanish with them and it seemed like they couldnāt care more to communicate I kept having to repeat and ask over and over for things
Great food and attendent serving food but, Register person wasn't as nice in fact she kind had a attitude or was in a hurry to go home. She wasn't listening and definitely didn't smile only wanted to be done I didn't get my drink and had to use my credit card to pay for my drink separate. No too happy about that. I know they are closing but, they need to keep a good attitude.
Happy Wok
These pictures itself speaks a lot⦠Rude customer service probably why Iām the only customer here⦠Save your money and go to Wongs Wongs Rice is very dry and over cooked
Best customer service.. Girls are always phenomenal. Always welcoming at the drive thru. My food is always on point & when I ask for extra items they always run back to get it. Chicken egg rolls are the best with Shrimp Fry rice .
Chopstick
This place is our new local favorite. Consistently good food made to order with great ingredients. It also appears to be family owned and run. The portions are generous, pricing fair, and the food tastes amazing. The staff is always polite and we are happy to see the addition of their small business in our community.
We have ordered out twice already. Everything is fresh, delicious, plentiful and reasonably priced. The owners are friendly and want to please. Their young children are adorable. We are very picky about Asian food. This treasure is a keeper!
Panda
Every college town needs a Panda. Panda is more than just a restaurant; it's critical infrastructure. You can always count on this place to be open when you really need it. The quality of the food is exactly what one would expect from a Chinese restaurant that's open at 2 am. It's unpretentious and delicious. Very few (if any) frills, a lot of tasty food for the money, perfect for your average college student.
Overall good option for an alfred restaurant. I just wish the owners would put a little more effort into the shops upkeep. The bee problem along with the constant lingering of drunk customers makes the experience uncomfortable. If theyād just take some steps to make the place feel more clean or up kept itād be better viewed by the town.
