Mei Wei Oriental Diner
I have been coming here many years it has always been very good. Went tonight with my family and the food was not good. We also spent almost 90$ on food for 2 adults and three children. Food was not on par with the cost.
Ordered the C Chicken, shrimp egg rolls and fried dumplings. Excellent, tender (not overcooked!!) chicken, nice full flavors in the sauce. Grateful they cooked for us tonight.
Chens Garden
Food was horrible, ordered chicken wings and house friend rice. You only get three jumbo wings which was so tough that it wasn’t enjoyable. The rice had no flavor even after adding two packs of soy sauce. I have never have bad chicken wings and rice. The presentation of the food didn’t even look good. I had already paid for it and discovered what was stapled in a styrofoam plate when I arrived home. Paid close to $14 for this disappointment. Go somewhere else for quality food for the price they charge you.
My coworker and I ordered take out. My regular place is closed on Sundays so I picked this restaurant. Her chicken fried rice was bland. My Szechuan Chicken didn't have a lot of taste. 95% of the chicken appears to be fatty pieces that they trimmed from dark meat. I got maybe 1 or 2 actually pieces of chicken and the rest were fatty. The steamed dumplings were good.
phenix chinese restaurant
I have been in Fayetteville for over 20 yrs and never been to this place so I decided to go today because so many people said they were good. And they did not lie. By far this is the best Chinese takeout I have had. I got the sesame chicken with the cheese wontons and omg they were delicious. I will give them a 1000/1000. I will definitely be back. The lady at the front said they have been in business for 30 yrs and I see why. This is pure quality for real. Thank u all for the delicious meal
I have been searching for what I call "real Chinese food" for quite sometime. Since leaving NY well over 40 years ago now, there's no longer the benefit of the "mom and pop" businesses. Most all the Chinese food I've had has all tasted the same. I just happened to try this restaurant and I was pleasantly surprised. My first visit I tried the house special fried rice and spring rolls. The next time I had #10 lunch special (real Chinese style barbeque spareribs with an actual bone in it). I will continue to try them out and hope I won't get disappointed. For now they are my go to for the taste I remember when I lived in NY. I won't comment on the atmosphere as this is strictly a "to go" place.
Tokyo
The food is delicious. This is my husband's and my go to for something quick to grab. The portions are really big and cover us for lunch and for dinner. The owner is super nice and friendly, he always smiles and is happy to see us. I have found that if you order over the phone as opposed to online, your order is ready within the estimated 15-20 min. If you order online, it is not always ready when you go to pick it up. Other than that, great food, and great service!
Very good food. They have Japanese and Chinese. The hibachi shrimp and chicken is really good. I always take home to eat so, aside from outdoor seating, not sure if they have indoor seating.
Huang's Kitchen
Huang's is a great little Chinese take out spot in High Point. The flavors are clean and the proteins and veggies are always cooked nicely. The staff is very friendly as well. Definitely recommend.
Huang's is simple, cheap, but packs the flavor and volume. Highly recommend the dumplings and Mei Fun noodles. You can dine in, just keep in mind it is a smaller establishment where it seems most people do take out or delivery (Doordash).
China Capital Restaurant
Had to go twice to see if it was a fluke..it wasn’t! The teriyaki beef was AMAZING. The Egg rolls were fresh and crispy. The General tso chicken and the sesame chicken were crispy, hot and delicious. My server both times was amazing and attentive. Not overly expensive, I got great value for my money. Will definitely be going back and highly recommended to any and everyone
The best orange chicken I think I’ve ever had. Delicious and right amount of heat. They gave me white rice instead of what I ordered, and overheard them saying they forgot shrimp in another order. Nonetheless, food was delicious and fairly priced.
China Town Chinese Restaurant
Date night with the Mrs. and friends got us shopping for Chinese. China Town Chinese Restaurant was our point of destination and arriving there got the strong vibe that it was more of a take and go, then sit down. Dingy interior with a row of forlorn padded booths that were slowly being taken over by boxes of restaurant supplies. A non-operating soda machine and an order counter. Don’t expect any counter to table service if you decide to stay after you order as you are on your own. Friend suggested takeout and we readily agreed. Our Combination Dinner was General Tso’s Chicken with fried pork rice and egg roll. We order an extra egg roll and my wife and I shared. Serving amount easily fed the two of us and overall taste was good with a bit of heat. Texture of breaded chicken was a bit tough, chewier. Standard fried rice and egg rolls were crispy savory rolls with shredded cabbage inside and deep fried. Food was doable but probably not worth a retry.
Looks good but Shrimp Fried rice Tasted bland. I added 4 packs of soy sauce and 2 packs of duck sauce. The pepper steak had a weird smell. I couldn't finish it.
Pee Dee Chinese Inc
There egg rolls are delicious but there egg foo yung gravy taste like straight soy cause I couldn’t even eat it.
My husband just brought home food from this new place we order 2 spicy general tso chicken combination meals the chicken was not cook and it didn't even look like general tso it looked like orange chicken we also got a large order of broccoli and garlic sauce but it had a shit load of onions instead of broccoli super disappointing paid over 50 dollars also got a order of crab ragoon switch were really hard the only things that were good was the egg rolls we will never order from this place ever again I really want a full refund incredibly disappointed.
NY Restaurant
I’m originally from NYC so I know a good Chinese restaurant and this is the best so far since I’ve moved here. They don’t call it NY for nothing. The only thing I think they should do different is have the sauces to pour on the food like hot sauce and ketchup instead of using the packets.
Really enjoyed the food here! It was quick and fresh. The flavors were really great. I got the tofu with vegetables and the tofu was cooked perfectly! The Crab Rangoons were so crispy and yummy. The portion size is really good. Both me and my husband had enough to take home. The atmosphere isn’t like a fancy sit down restaurant or anything, it’s more like a whole in the wall but it’s a good find. They did bring the food to us but other than that they weren’t like waiting on us. They mostly have to-go orders.
China King
I have never in a million years left a review but this is a first. Was craving Chinese all day and found that this one was near where lived. I couldn't even finish my food. I'm actually really bummed. But just figured people should know. My stomach is already in knots from what I did eat. 🥲 hopefully from this review they will realize that they need to do better. I'm sorry! I feel horrible as it is leaving this review.
Always great food. A little on the pricey side. I love their egg rolls. They are the best in Caldwell Co.
China One
I had the Mongolian Beef and my Honey had the Sweet and Sour Chicken....both were tasty and plentiful, I've got lunch tomorrow as well couldn't clean my plate. Beautiful family atmosphere, I wish I had the opportunity to spend my time with my children and make a living so the atmosphere is just fine by me. Everything was great, we'll def make the trip over from Gaffney more often. O.o.o.the egg rolls aren't sweet like most are now another +
Family owned & operated. Delicious food at reasonable price. Eat in or take out. Wonderful small town, limited parking.
Keko‘s Asian Fusion
sometimes the food is good and sometimes it not. Everything always seem to have to much of a garlic flavor. I got the hibachi steak with veggies. It just taste rushed with no effort put in to it. It didn't have a tasty flavor the steak was cut in to big uneven chunks. veggies didn't have a crisp to them they were just soggy. a week ago I order the same thing and it was $13 today I ordered the same thing and it was $20
We went for the first time today and ordered boneless ribs with shrimp fried rice and orange chicken with some crab rangoons. All of it was great and the crab rangoons were the best I’ve ever had, ended up getting another order to go. The staff was also very friendly and service was fast. Definitely the best Asian restaurant in the area and worth checking out.
