China Town
I visited this buffet for dinner for the first time. I initially came here because I read a comment claiming that the dinner price was supposedly low, but it turned out to be a lie! The food selection is small, but almost everything I tried, I liked. However, their white sauces are just disgusting, and I regretted adding them to my plate! The service is okay, but the bill was brought too early. The restaurant has a very small and inconvenient parking lot nearby. The total cost of dinner for one person was $23, not as promised, so I didn’t leave a tip...
Best part for me was banana pudding with chocolate soft serve. Salad was okay too. All the food tasted the same.
China Wok
I’m pregnant and have been craving burbon chicken for days, I finally decided to get some and was very disappointed!! The rice had no flavor and didn’t even look like fried rice and the burbon chicken took forever to chew like overcooked steak, I won’t be back I should have went to chic fil a with my family.
Very tasty food!!!! Vegetarian options. Friendly staff. Quick service and prices you can't beat!!!! I love this place. I couldn't find the full menu, so I added pics🖤I didn't think to snap a pic of my food because I was so excited to eat!
Jin Jin Chinese Restaurant
Food was pretty good. It needs a little salt and pepper. I would give them 4 stars but they forgot a dish. When we called them about it they acknowledged it and promised to credit us the next time we came in.
Our first time... showed and ordered at the counter and waited..27 mins and imo they were not busy. Staff was pleasant enough and restaurant was slightly dirty but not gross. Got home and order was correct but the food was very greasy. Also the fried foods, especially crab rangoons had a old oil taste. These were probably the biggest rangoons I've ever seen. The rest of the food was good but not spectacular. The fried rice was especially flavorful as was the vegetable lo mein.
China House
Good food! Great price with large portions. I got the Kung pao chicken and it had great flavoring, and fresh vegetables. I do wish there was more chicken, but quite honestly that was because it was so good. I would definitely stop here again.
Some of the best Chinese food I have ever eaten. Was in Bishopville to visit my wife in the nursing home and saw it and so glad I did!
Chinese Restaurant
If you’re looking for good cheap Chinese, this is the place. Sometimes a plate of sweet and sour chicken really is the only thing that hits the spot. They’re right on Main Street, so it’s easy to run and grab your food, and whether I’m ordering for myself or a whole party, they’re ready pretty quick. If we could just get these guys set up on DoorDash, they’d be golden!
Not great service. Dry chicken, and my food didn't taste that great (my boyfriend liked his though). I couldn't find pictures of the menu and when I asked for the person on the phone to read the combo meals they told me to Google it. Prices are reasonable and servings are big. Edit: Went back to try something different on the menu and had a much better experience. Got the healthy dish, it was fresh and loaded with vegetables. The portion was massive and we got free Chinese donuts for spending over $30 (my meal wasn't $30, we bought a few meals together). I would definitely recommend for this option on the menu.
China Restaurant
Unassuming little Chinese restaurant in a small town and you probably think, could it be any good? Well it is. My in-laws and I were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our meals. It is family run and yes they are of chinese descent. To address the people that rank this place as unauthentic tells me these people are used to their own local restaurant or to chain restaurants and don't realize that just like in our country different areas of the country put their own spin on main dishes, so does every other culture. This little place uses what they have access to locally and make their dishes. It is great! Sometimes the most unassuming places can be such a great find!
Good Chow, Quick & Reasonable 👍 Eye love the Garlic Chicken with a few Pot Stickers, maybe some WonTons too ☺ Sometimes I geek on the jalapenos vs real red hot peppers, but it's no big deal really... I'm sure more cry about hot than not 🥵 No really, good job guys, thanks for sticking with us!!!
China King
First time eating here although we did order take out we both Ordered general toes chicken and special fried rice and crab ragu. Very, very good and the crab Ragu was so soft and full of the filling. Very impressed
The general Tsos chicken is delicious! 🤤
New china
New China is a fantastic find! Tucked away in a strip mall, it might be easy to miss, but it’s definitely worth discovering. We started with the appetizer platter, which was the perfect way to sample a variety of flavors and textures. For the main course, the Chicken Lo Mein was excellent, with tender noodles and a savory sauce that was just right. The Singapore Mei Fun was also good. If you're looking for a delicious Chinese spot that’s a bit off the beaten path, New China is a great choice. Highly recommend it!
Ok first impressions are everything. They charge 2$ for tiny microwavable egg rolls. Had chicken fried rice, beef with snow peas, orange chicken with wr, kung Pao with wr, fried wings. Cooked in lard or something. Stinky Food was maybe between 1 or 2 out 5. Ratings are overblown. This is not ok shop. Maybe not order again. Not even the egg rolls. Also they didn't put soy or sweet and sour sauce in the bag. It was take out. But my bill was 70$. So terrible...
Bing's Happy Garden Inc
Our first time there. We got takeout to eat up at the Benedictine brewery. The bag of containers was extremely heavy. I thought they were serving us lead lol. When I opened the container I realized why it was so heavy. This thing was packed with food. Lots of chicken and broccoli for the broccoli chicken. My Sichuan chicken had lots of vegetables and chicken. We also ordered the noodles with tofu. Tofu was really nice + chewy not mushy. Broccoli was fresh and not overcooked. The chicken had nice flavor and the two different chicken dishes had a distinct flavor profile. The Sichuan chicken head enough heat to make it enjoyable but not too hot. My wife and I now have leftovers for lunch today and again tomorrow. That's how much food we got for how little we paid.
This is some of the most wholesome American Chinese food I have had. For me, that is a compliment, meaning a large but, reliably diverse menu of favorites. They are customer focused and portions are big so let them know how you like your food. Our first order was so good, when friends visited, we ordered other great chicken and seafood entrees 2x the same week.
Lucky Star Chinese Restaurant
Lucky Star is an amazing restaurant that I’ve been going with my family and friends for years. This place is always flourished with positive vibe, pleasant atmosphere, and excellent service. The food is always super fresh and delicious; facility is always kept clean, and friendly staff! You can tell that everyone there has invested their heart and soul into it. Highly recommend this hidden gem to everyone in the New River Valley!
If I could leave 0 stars I would. I get this is a Buffett in a small town, but come on, I can cook better than this. Styrofoam plates and cups. No AC, fans dirty as hell and probably haven’t run in years. Stay away
China's Bar & Grill LLC.
Long time Cheney Chinese restaurant and bar owned by a nice Chinese / American family. Staff is exceptionally friendly. One family member may even stop to chat with you. The menu is vast, with plenty of American and Chinese food choices. The food is very good. I even tried something for dessert that I had never had before, fried ice-cream. I will definitely come back.
Absolute greatest dining experience ever. Staff was all smiles friendly and very helpful. And the food will speak for itself, definitely the best Mexican I've ever had
No 1 Chinese kitchen
Great take out! Family business, excellent food. I recommend the Kung Po chicken (chicken with peanuts), Wonton soup. Pepper steak is good too, as is the Lo Mein. Fast and friendly service! I have been a customer for many years. Two thumbs up 👍👍🍜🥟🥠🥡
Food always fresh tasting and so good! Also the staff is very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family. Great food, respectable workers.
