Umi Kitchen—Sushi-Bubble Tea
Very much enjoy the boba drinks here at Umi! They’re a good size, are tasty & are well-priced. The food is fresh & tasty as well. Food sensitivities need to be stated UPFRONT. Pls Note: Was told that almost everything has ‘a little bit of flour’ on it, except for the tofu. So for the GF crew, be mindful. They do Hibachi here too for $12.50.
I ordered on grub hub, delivery was really fast. I got the American dream roll which was very good. I asked for the bubble tea to have no added sugar and no ice but it was delivered the opposite. The boba are stale and hard. The California roll I spit out as soon as I bit into it. And had to throw out the whole roll. The imitation crab was BAD and warm. The whole roll was warm. California roll is normally cold. I will not order again. Also ordering on grub hub adds so many fees it costed me $40 for 1 special roll and 1 California and bubble tea. Ridiculous.
Swadist
The food is really good, staff are very friendly. Without doubt has the best buffet for just 20$ for an adult, So totally worth it for the taste and variety. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. Sure gonna visit again
Great northern Indian restaurant in Jersey City , NJ. 5 minutes walk from JSQ PATH station. Service is great but hygiene needs to be improved. It’s spicy. Kebab platter is big & delicious. Parking is on the street, Use @ParkMobile app to pay… free street parking is available at a distance but hard to get.
Chan's Gourmet
First time my family ordered from this restaurant. We have tried multiple Chinese food restaurants near by but had not found the one we wanted to make our favorite. We finally found this one and this by far is our favorite. The food is very flavorful and absolutely delicious it tastes authentic traditional Chinese food! I’m in love with the flavor!! They also add carrots to the chicken and broccoli other restaurants do not those extras add on are things customers notice. Our new go to restaurant. Also they give a nice portion. Lastly, I requested no vegetables in my rice and they listened to my request!
The Food was disgusting. I ordered around $40 Food. The chicken smell bad and it tasted like old old chicken. The chicken absolutely put long long long time. I cannot eat it at all. I don't want to go to hospital. If u care ur Health. Don't go this place.
Wang Wang
I love this place, real old school Chinese-American take out. Prices are very reasonable and the old man working here is friendly and efficient. Credit cards are accepted and there are 2-3 tables to dine in.
Food was great. The usual Chinese food fare. Egg rolls are a little dry but not bad. No atmosphere; this is your typical hole-in-the-wall takeout place. Proprietor was a little rude; he was having his lunch in the back when I came in to place my order and seemed annoyed that he had to stop and take the order.
New Sunrise
Delicious food. Never had a bad experience ordering. The lady is very friendly and goes over the order to confirm. Love that they offer dinner combos and it gives you enough for the next day. Okay prices. Food is not greasy like other places in town. Would recommend. Take out or delivery is your best bet.
They are not all that!!! Ordered last night. Service was fast. Rice was cold and hard, and pork was dried up (pork fried rice). Expensive place with mediocre Chinese food. With so many Chinese food restaurants in this area, you would think everyone's food would be great!!! Not bad, but not great!! Especially for the price.
Golden Eagle Chinese Restaurant
Great family owned place for decades, when I go in they treat me like family because I’m kind and respectful. I’ve noticed a lot of people leaving reviews of one star only leave negative reviews and in my opinion often invalidates their opinions. Seems like most people want to have their butts kissed by their neighbors, but if you’re kind and respectful to staff they’ll return the favor. Food is delicious, prices are fair, and the kitchen is open and clean.
Good food,Good service and very kind people really recommend this restaurant you wont regret it. I Ordered Chicken Lo Mei and the wonton fried there where 🔥🔥.
Spice Spirit
Pretty good Chinese food option in the Hoboken/JC area It’s not easy to find good Chinese food option although there are many restaurants around the area. Ling Long Xuan was my favorite but they seem to have closed recently. Food we ordered were generally pretty good. Mapo tofu was flavorful with hint of mala, Dan Dan noodle was also good with a hint of spice, dumplings were nice and chewy with nice filling inside. I would say sesame chicken and general Tso chicken were probably the most disappointing dishes. While it wasn’t bad, you honestly can’t even tell which is which Bc they just taste the same (might I add they look the same?) Overall, this is my new goto delivery in the area! I would def give it a try. Try the tofu and dandan noodles!
Food was great! The juicy pork buns were delicious and the chicken katsu ramen was great and so crispy. The bubble tea is great too!
Kiku Asian Cuisine
The best Bubble tea in America. This place makes me want to go back to China. Amazing! The food is also amazing. Tastes like Actual Chinese food.
Everything we got was delicious! Chicken dumplings, egg drop soup, general Tso chicken, and peach bubble tea. Best of luck to your new place will be our new go to!
China Wok
The food here is AMAZING. it’s better if you do a take out to be honest :)
I have been a customer for 9 years, moving from Kearny to Harrison, back to Kearny & I have never stopped ordering from them. They have a wonderful attitude, even during VERY busy times. Sweet lady who answers the phone is so pleasant. They always get my order right. The food tastes great, well cooked! There have been different people working here, but they must be family because they are all just great. Thank you guys for your service!
Nana Noodle House- Kearny NJ
Must-visit spot for noodle lovers in New Jersey! Nana Noodle House deserves all the hype on the must-eat list. The food is absolutely amazing—flavorful, fresh, and cooked to perfection. I tried their signature pulled noodles, and wow, they were a game-changer! The broth was rich and comforting, and the noodles had the perfect chew. The owner is such a sweetheart—so welcoming, kind, and attentive, making the dining experience even better. The vibe here is cozy, and you can tell they put a lot of heart into everything, from the food to the service. If you’re a noodle fan, don’t miss this gem! It’s rare to find a place that nails the taste, the service, and the overall experience all at once. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes. Highly recommend!
Must try this BEST pull noodles in the nearby area!!! I ordered the vegetable noodle soup (N3) with flavorful tofu, mushrooms and other veggies. My husband ordered thethe braised pork rib noodle soup (N2). The ribs fell off the bone tender. Usually my husband doesn't like ribs but he finished all the ribs in his bowl. We also ordered dumplings and a few pumpkin cakes. They were so good from the shape to the taste. My kids can't get enough of them. Both the owner and the waitress are so warm, welcoming and friendly. We will definitely go back again 😋
5 Grains rice
had a terrible experience at this one. The food tasted far from fresh, with some dishes giving off an unpleasant, stale flavor. It seemed like they were trying to cut corners, and the quality was just unacceptable. To make things worse, the pricing felt misleading, and I left feeling cheated. I wouldn’t recommend dining here if you care about freshness and value for your money..
Simple but authentic Chinese food but the dine-in environment is not very good. Spicy fish with tofu was quite good. Ask for the Chinese menu. If you can’t read it, ask them to recommend something authentic! They take credit cards, reluctantly. Street parking.
Chinatown Restaurant
Food was delicious (a bit too salty for me), portion was generous, price was fair, service was good, & atmosphere was ok. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Appreciate the authentic Chinese menu. We ordered 4 dishes, except the bean curd with baby bok choy, 3 came in clay pots (fish fillet with fermented vegetables, chicken with chestnut & seafood casserole), which we really appreciate. Street parking.
My family and I were a party of six, and we needed somewhere to eat at 8pm. They were very accommodating and seated us quickly, and our food came out incredibly soon after we ordered! The lo mein was very delicious, as were all the soups we ordered (egg drop, hot and sour, wonton, and chicken and rice.) The chicken wings and General Tsao’s chicken were both great, though my family wasn’t a huge fan of the Mongolian beef or scallion pancakes. The worst part of the experience was the fact that they are so popular that they had run out of a lot of the food we initially wanted to order- the duck, the eggplant, and even the crispies that go in the soup! They also do not currently have a sushi chef, so they are not serving sushi, which gets rid of half their menu. If we ever are in this part of New Jersey again, we will definitely stop back by… but earlier in the day before they run out of food!
