Twin Dragons Restaurant
I ordered the beef soft lo mein and the noodles and vegetables were good (if u don’t know soft lo mein is it is just small thinner noodles than reg lo mein) but the beef had me all confused. First there was barely any. Most of it was in tiny pieces or in string like pieces and it looked grey and tasted weird. Would not recommend that dish. That was my first time trying this place so maybe they have better options.
First time I have ordered from here. They were very cordial on the phone, had told me 45 to 50 minutes for delivery and was here in about 40. Driver was very courteous. Our food was very tasty and we enjoyed it. We were surprised at the pan fried noodles being separate from the meat and vegetables as the other place we ordered from put it together. But, it was very tasty.
Chinese Ho Carryout
From a visit back in June. Great option for a night when you're craving takeout -- an extensive menu. Plentiful portions, especially for dining out! Tried the sesame chicken entree and I recommend it; overall really decent Chinese option for Winfield
Hello, fellow human friends! We called in and ordered from Chinese Ho for pickup. They unfortunately do not offer delivery, which is a bit of a bummer. The food was ready at the time given, which was about 40 minutes. It was freshly cooked and still piping hot once it made it home. Their aroma-filled eggrolls had a wonderful crunch with every savory bite and were stuffed with chopped cabbage and a faint hint of peanut butter. Their pot stickers were moist, chewy, and rich with minced pork flavor. When dipped in the sweet soy sauce provided, it delivered a unique array of umami flavors. The lo mein came with a bounty of BBQ pork and assorted vegetables, and the whole entrée was, in general, quite plentiful and filling. The spaghetti pasta was an interesting choice for noodles. I didn't hate it, but I also wasn't thrilled about it. Next time, I'll try their other noodle option. Give this place a try if you're craving some mediocre yet filling Chinese food and are in the area. Once night fell, we howled our contentment at the moon in celebration of our enjoyment of an average succulent Chinese dinner. Come check out the Ho. Cheers! Quick edit: Some of the food they advertise as "spicy" is not, in fact, spicy. For example, the General Tso's chicken is absolutely not spicy, and neither is the beef Satay, which tasted exactly like Mongolian beef minus the green onions.
Tasty House 1
My boyfriend and I come here at least once a month- If not more. It’s a very cute, clean family owned restaurant with very fast service. The pho here is amazing. The broth is especially delicious, and of course you also get plenty of bean sprouts, basil, jalapenos, and lime. They make a homemade spicy chilli sauce which is tasty!! The Prices are very reasonable - you get a lot. highly recommend this place!
The food was all so fresh and flavorful, most authentic Vietnamese food I’ve had. Everything is so clean and pure, even the fried food felt light. We ordered the shrimp egg rolls to start, they were perfectly crispy and the filling had the perfect amount of peppercorns to add another layer of flavor and texture. The Pho broth was perfectly made, I was able to appreciate the pure and flavorful ingredients down to the bottom of the bowl, which I feel is very rare with most pho I’ve had other places. The shrimp ban mi was so fresh. Definitely recommend. (Also ask for the chili oil! It has garlic, lemon grass & ginger really goes so well with pretty much everything)
Golden Corral Buffet & Grill
The food was horrible and it's always good. I believe they have new managers and cooks. I don't like the fact that my 92 year old Aunt had to pay $16.99 for a senior discount. She only ate half a plate. I believe if you are that old you should only be paying $5.00 or free. They should have to show proof only because people lie so much. Corporate has to rethink their senior discount
Came on a Friday morning, expected them to be open for breakfast but I guess this location chooses not to be open early on FRIDAY. They didn't even have steaks! This location is lame. I had the "awesome" pot roast, it was not really awesome if you ask me. It tastes like some Tyson brand pre-packaged ready-to-cook crockpot cheater meals from Walmart! 😂 The cornbread was good, at least. It's pretty hard to mess up cornbread!
The Desi Accent
First time here. Booked a reservation through OpenTable. We got seated pretty quickly which was good since the place was pretty empty. There was a 50th birthday party going on one end of the restaurant so a little loud in there. We ordered our drinks, I ordered a beer which took about 10 mins to arrive. My girlfriend ordered a mixed drink which took 20 mins. Kinda of odd there. No big deal though. So service was okay not great but not too bad and we knew what to expect. Chicken 65 was phenomenal. I would say the best chicken 65 I’ve had. The tandoori chicken was pretty good too. The chicken makhani was watery and very sweet. Garlic naan was great. For dessert we order gajjar halwa which was not good at all. I definitely want to give this spot another try and would definitely recommend the chicken 65.
First time trying this place and we have not found a good Indian restaurant until now in our area. Food was great. Prices work great as well. Seems like the owner works there and she's very friendly and helpful. Restaurant is very clean and cute great to die. We actually did takeout and the food was nice and warm by the time we got home. Thank you again we will be back!
Mai Thai Cafe
Truly a beautiful small family business. I come here a lot and I never see this place packed, but it should be. Sure, it’s not your charming dine-in experience. Makes you feel like you’re eating street food inside. Needs some help with the ambience but the food hits. Those women crank it out and it’s all delicious too. Best pad Thai around. 10/10 recommend
Excellent Thai with quick service. Noodles, rice, and curry are fantastic. Flavors are full and rich. Eat in or take out. My favs are the Pad Woon Sen and Massaman Curry. Also love the Thai Coffee. Food is served hot and made of fresh ingredients.
Pa Lian Burmese Restaurant ( BYOB)
my husband and i stumbled upon this restaurant very randomly but is now top on the list for date nights. the flavors are immaculate, their menu has a lot of different flavor palettes to explore. we got the fried fish! crispy to perfection. the tea leaf salad and all its textures was amazing, a lil life changing actually. the coconut chicken noodles was flavorful/creamy. our server was extremely friendly and funny, we had a great time and will def be back soon
Tea leaf salad tastes good but a few bites felt sandy. Mango chicken curry was ok. The recommended noodle dish was mushy and tasted weird to me. Also it was hot outside that day, and it was a bit muggy inside. AC not keeping up? 3 stars. Won’t be back anytime soon.
China Kitchen
I really wanted honey walnut shrimp so decided to make a stop here and wasn't disappointed! Everyone was friendly and the presentation of the food was beautiful!! The place is more for "to go" orders they have 2 tables but we decided to eat there 💗
I ordered the salt & pepper shrimp and had to throw the whole order away. The shrimp looked old and disgusting. I typically order from the Joliet location but went through Uber eats and it selected the Naperville location instead. The egg rolls were soggy and salty as well.
BIBIBOP Asian Grill
Went on a Wednesday night but it still was crazy busy - line out the door. This place is still fairly new so that’s understandable. Tip: Get the small bowl. It’s more than enough for a meal. Original size will be too big. Surprisingly most people were taking it to go and only a few sat in the restaurant and ate even though their seating area is pretty appealing including tables for large parties and nice private booths. Tasty and fresh food. I would recommend going with à la cart and getting the original bowl with lots of vegetable toppings and your choice of meat. Basically the same concept as Chipotle. The sauces I would recommend are: Yum Yum and Gochujang. They are even better when you get them both together on your dish. A bonus surprise you’ll find at this place: Free miso soup. They have a container of the soup sitting by the drinks with the sign saying that it’s complementary. Overall, we really enjoyed the food and our time there - since we did take advantage of the seating at one of the private booths 😊. You will enjoy as well for sure. Try it 👍
First time here. BiBiBop just recently opened in our area. Went in and the place was spotless, a big plus! The gal behind the counter explained everything to me and then I built my bowl. I ordered a small bowl and that was still huge. Everything was delicious and I plan on bringing my daughter back for meatless Mondays. This could easily end up being one of my favorite eats.
Chinese Kitchen
My order was Szechwan Shrimp and what I got is the pictures exactly 9 Shrimps (hardly 20 % of the box capacity) and the rest is Celery sticks (80% of celery sticks and surprising I got some bonus as well, which is 4-5 pieces of mushrooms) I am wondering why someone would add mushrooms pieces in Shrimp dish. My wish was to eat shrimp, and I ended up eating celery sticks. I am not sure if this is how their recipe is made. I am totally dissatisfied with my order.
Everything was delicious! The prices are beyond reasonable; there is so much food in each dish! The service is fast and friendly. The restaurant is clean; however, it was freezing inside...thank goodness for hot tea, hot soup, and hot entrees! It's a most delicious Christmas meal...with plenty of leftovers 😋
J'S Kitchen
Chicken wing is really good. Personally speaking I enjoy any fried food that comes with salt n’ pepper flavor. Beef noodle soup is okay. They use alkaline ramen for chewy texture.
Delicious, Fresh, Homemade & Authentic Food! I always get the J's Signature/Chicken Noodle Soup- wonton served in hot Sichuan style Classic Northwestern Chinese style beef noodle soup with seasonal green, scallion, cilantro gentle flavored bone broth topped w/ beef brisket slices or chicken breast, seasonal green, cilantro, scallion❤️🙏🍜absolutely love this place! GO!!! Woman Owned and Absolutely Amazing!
Bombay Chopsticks by India House
The first impression I got was that this restaurant is extremely clean and very new. The food selection is smaller than most buffets but it is very high quality. I thoroughly enjoy it. I dined with someone who was gluten-free and all the servers were very accommodating to her allergy. They checked each food and even asked chef. All the workers were extremely nice.
The food and spices were outstanding! Our server, Shawn, was great and the service was quick! There’s a wide variety of both Indian and Chinese cuisine options. Very delicious, we will be back.
