I recommend the three combo plate can’t go wrong with the egg rolls either also ask for sriracha to spice it up! 🔥
I went here because I was close to my appointment and I saw this restaurant and when there and order 4 eggrolls 3 crab -ragoons and an XL combination rice and it was bad and I mean bad as you see there no eggs nor green onions
New China Express
I placed an order on GrubHub. I asked for the. Two of the three Entrée combo plate. The first one I asked for bourbon chicken, Pepper, steak and shrimp egg foo young and I asked for chow mein noodles. First, I asked for the chow mein noodles to be spicy. It was not. There was no gravy with the shrimp egg foo young. It was pretty basic plain nothing to be excited about. The second plate I ordered I asked for all three entrées to be sweet-and-sour chicken Just steam rice. I asked for the sauce to be separated from chicken because this was for my little one. Of course they didn’t do it. The sauce was mixed in with the chicken. I did contact GrubHub. I tried to contact the restaurant several times no response. They never answered the phone so I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant To anyone.
Please ugly presentation. I don’t know if it’s chicken it was hard underneath the chicken crust. sweet-and-sour chicken they don’t look like chicken it don’t taste like chicken but I order sweet-and-sour chicken and chicken fried rice. Also problem with that egg shell in the chicken fried rice shrimp mix with chicken fried rice with my only ordered chicken Only I’m allergic to shellfish 😓

Best Chinese Food I have ever had! I would recommend take out since it isn't very welcoming to dine in. They always fill the plates up past the brim!
My first experience here was take out I had a small pork fried rice a ordered 2 smoothies, the fried rice had a flavor to it I couldn't explain, it wasnt a bad flavor I think it was probably the marinade of the pork it was very overwhelming but it wasn't bad tasting. My favorite smoothie was the coconut it seems water based but good, and a strawberry smoothie that needed a bit more strawberries, it was a bit on the watery sugar side add more strawberries! We came across a lady opening the door and asking everyone for money I only had card.

I always get take out from here. Their salt and pepper tofu is very good. The guy behind the counter has always been very polite and receptive. I'm not sure why some folks have had a hard time.
Language barrier issues with the guy at the register completely disrespectful when I said pork fried rice not egg. Decided to give me both my kid has an egg allergy so thanks alot bringing that home.. he originally thought I said fries. Had to correct him several times. It's like he can't hear correctly behind the plexiglass. If you can't listen to a customers allergy request then you lose my business. I was supposed to of gotten 2 lunch specials then he wanted to charge me extra 4.50 for the rice that comes with the lunch special..... so a hunan spicy w/ pork Fri rice & general tso's both had egg rolls & can soda came out to almost over $30... you can get 2 plates in NYC for $7 each.. I won't be back. My chicken portion was over the top giving me breast sized chunks.
Panda Express
Absolutely horrible . The noodles look like they’ve been chewed and put on plate .. wife ordered 2 broc and beefs .. we counted 4 pieces of beef and 30 broccoli .. driest rice of our lives .. what a joke . Go elsewhere
Pretty sorry service. I have been here several times and every time I have to repeat everything at least twice because the staff are simply not listening. Management appear to rarely if ever be out on the floor so they cannot know their staff needs better training. The chow mein noodles are dry beyond belief and it's clear they simply do not cook it with enough moisture. I'm quite sure I will not return for another visit unless there are some serious changes made.

10/27/2024 Went here after ⛪️ and decided to buy some 🍤 🥚 foo yung, which is always good, some thin 🍜 with 🐔 and 🍤 and too much curry, which wasn't all that great. It was some type of low mein. The 🥚 rolls were ok, & a combination szechuan dish. Most importantly, though, was customer service. The Chinese girls behind the counter had some serious attitude issues. They would get frustrated with the customer and look at them with an evil scowl because THEY couldn't understand what the customer was saying and gave off this energy as if you were doing them a favor by coming to their establishment. I'm glad I'm not local anymore. I got my food and got my @$$ back to Indiana ASAP!
Best spot in the area. Good quality and portion size. Better to go in and order, the wait time on the phone is long.
Nicky's Chinese Food
Consistently delicious. I order from here probably once a month or so, and they always do a great job, whether pickup or delivery. Small shop, so not great for groups to eat in, but I've done it for a quick lunch. They have discounted lunch specials too. They are fast, the food is great, the portions are large, and the price is reasonable. The fried crab wonton is my favorite, it's different than most places and has large chunks of meat. They also have very good vegetarian dishes and follow special requests. I've never had a bad experience.
Honest review because I use to order from this place often BUT I WON'T ORDER HERE ANY MORE!!! When I moved in this neighborhood, I still wanted to try this place to give a fair chance. They were pretty consistent in the beginning but lately my mother started complaining about their food (she loved them). I still would order but notice it started to be a hit or miss. I called to order my usual and was handled very rude by a short stubby man who told me he was the owner - i usually only see the tall gentleman or older grey haired man when I come in. He began to did at me about what comes in a plain fried rice and I said just the fried rice. I was already in route to pick up while ordering so i went in to check if maybe he was just having a bad day. He goes to tell me he sees Ive had refunds for food because i didn't say what i want!!?? I've never requested any refund and thought maybe he's confusing with someone else. He goes to tell me just order from GrubHub or DoorDash and they can just give my money back if i don't like it!!!? That's like implying you know your food can be bad, no thank you!!!!
Fat Noodles - Portage Park
I ordered Pad Thai and some egg rolls. The order was 22 minutes late. The worst Pad Thai I have tasted. It tasted like it came out of a can. I threw 3/4 of it in the garbage. I will never order from here again.
This business appears to be closed as they do not answer their phone.
BBQ King 88 皇上皇
The roast duck is decent. You don’t get a lot of pudding but they had fresh soft tofu pudding which is hard to find these days
It is located at the second floor food court of 88 Asian supermarket. They got good and authentic Cantonese BBQ pork and duck. There were a few great Asian restaurants. Compared with other restaurants inside this large supermarket, their food tasted mediocre for me and the price was a little higher.
Panda Express
Why are you guys spoiling the name of this Panda Express by doing such bad things? Bring a good cook who knows how to cook. Please don't do this, we will try from other places too but I have never eaten food worse than this. Only in place of chowmein! You guys are using cabbage instead of chowmein? Which is not good. There is no onion, no capsicum, it is filled with just one thing and the quantity is very less so that it does not go overboard and the quality is absolutely zero. This is my request to you people. With folded hands, please do not spoil the name of Panda Express. This name has been made with a lot of hard work and it is popular everywhere and people also provide very good services. But your service has always been like this. Most of the time your food smells burnt. Whoever owns this place please pay attention otherwise it won't take long for it to close down.
Previous bad reviews almost scared me off, but I honestly had a fine experience. Service was perfectly friendly, food was normal Panda Express quality, prices were even about the same as a standalone location (this is in an tollway oasis, I was a little worried about a markup, but if there was it was very minor). The restaurant is on the south (eastbound) side of the oasis, but can easily be accessed from travelers heading/entering from either direction.

Took one bite AND THREW UP! Zero stars in every category. horrible customer service , TRIED to over charge me I gave a recommendation to change his pricing on the menu if he’s trying to screw people over! Cold tasteless and just stomach turning all around DO NOT EAT HERE
IF I COULD GIVE 0 STARS I DEFINITELY WOULD!!!!!!! My girlfriend and I came to get some food and we just wanted noodles and veggie rolls. My girlfriend asked the worker if there was a small bowl for the noodles and he said no and got a plate for just the noodles and 2 eggrolls, which is fine. He checks us out and charges $11, when it was supposed to be $8. Then he said he said the noodles are $6 when the sign says $4 for noodles, and proceeds to get a bowl that he said he didn’t have in the first place. He got really upset and threw our food back in with the rest of the noodles. He ignored us and tried to take care of the next customers, and he ended up “shooing” them away. We ended up getting what we wanted in the first place for the exact price that was listed on the sign. I asked for a receipt and ended up yelling. he had the nastiest attitude ever. The food was cold and nasty, the veggie rolls were overcooked and mushy in the inside. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND getting food here. They’re very disrespectful, unprofessional, they overcharge you with prices that they make up and GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
