Thai House Restaurant

UPDATE : Aug 2024 Have recently visited them again for lunch and did a take away. The lunch menu and service was good. I liked the fact that they maintained a good portion size and also were courteous. The prices have been kept steady and are still pocket friendly. I found the hygiene and preparations to be better this time Vs a year ago. Adding some pics. The lunch was served with a soup, starter. Stick with common items red curry, basil fried rice, pad Thai… tofu items were better option =============== >>>> NOT an Authentic Thai location. If using lemon grass and coconut milk in recipe qualifies as Thai … it will probably fit. Ordered Tom-Yum soup, Pad-ke-mao noodles and Panag curry. The soup had mushrooms that were not cleaned well. The noodles lacked punch and chicken was rubbery at times. Panag curry tasted only of coconut milk… had green peas and full of sliced chicken that were kind of pre-boiled. I will AVOID it. Also online order has $1.00 convenience charge. Funny…they charged me for hot sauce on side.

I didn't expect much because the store and tables were messy and unclean, but the food was delicious. The decoration of the food was also pretty and unexpected. However, I am hesitant to bring my friends. It would be nice if the interior was as clean as the food.

Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

Love the soups here. Saw that there are a lot of regulars here. One of those regulars, even tipped the drinks waitress with cash whilst walking away from the tables. She was really attentive throughout my experience. It's been about 15 years since I was here, but back then it was called Country Buffet and we came here frequently during my High School days of 1996-1999. The meat types available is to a very good degree, but most of them a very well done so really hard. Namely, the boneless chicken wings are really tough to take down. Salad bar is extensive and decent. Sweets table is very, very extensive and quite the favourite here. Sadly, alcohol is not served therefore limiting the amount of banter between employees :) BYOB is not observed either, hence my low Atmosphere rating.

Great steaks... tho you have to kinda wait awhile for them. Quality of the meat not ultimately great, but hey, all you can eat 😉 is great!!! 🕺 nicely marinated and grilled/charred = delicioso! We had to move seats twice due to heavy perfume and cologne and nasty (painful and itchy) scent beads in the wash types of people. To those who lay on the perfume and cologne: please don't wear these at eating places -- your cologne/perfume is really gross to those trying to enjoy their food! 🤮

Tensuke Market and Food Court

Neat little Japanese marketplace with a food court in the back, which I have eaten in on three separate occasions. The supermarket is small, but I have found it to be much homelier even as far as Japanese (and other Asian) supermarkets go in this region. Most selections are typical for other such supermarkets, and there is a section close to the front entrance where one can pick up bento meals made fresh in store that day. I have also had very friendly interactions with the staff present. As for the food court, I have found this generally to be a much more pleasant experience than to order the same food at one of the tenants of Mitsuwa Marketplace (which is roughly five minutes north on Arlington Heights Road). One gets a lot of value for the price over in this establishment (typically no more than 15 bucks a meal), and I have never had a problem locating seating in this establishment (compared to Mitsuwa's food court, which is at capacity most of the time during peak meal time). This is likely due to the hole-in-the-wall atmosphere that this place conveys.

The food was delicious. The price was reasonable and the serving size was generous, which was unexpected for a Japanese restaurant, as they typically serve small portions. I will definitely return.

I had an amazing experience at this Mediterranean restaurant! The service from Solomon was outstanding—he was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was absolutely fantastic, with authentic flavors and beautifully presented dishes. The warm and inviting atmosphere added to the overall experience, making it a perfect place for a meal. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for great food and excellent service!

Great prices! Super good and authentic food! We got the chicken schwarma platter and it was delicious! The staff was super nice as well and very clean in there.

Hot Pot Delight

UPDATE: 12/24 Totally disappointed! So, I am changing the stars to 2/5. Overall experience went down. New and stricter policy: Only 90 minutes to eat in the restaurant, buffet style self service (making the veggies and meat unlikely fresh- I don’t know how long it has been sitting there), new charges for most of the appetizers, and unfriendly staff. What was sad of this visit is the server refusing to serve us our soup and to start our buffet because he wants us to wait for all our friends to arrive. The restaurant was not even half full and we were super hungry. We waited for about 40-45 minutes before we politely asked to be served and start the 90-minute rule. They add gratuity to group of 4 and more. Make sure to check your receipt. It’s still $27.99 without drinks so about $36 total per person. I don’t think I will go back again. Need to find another hotpot place. *********My number 1 hot pot spot! I have been here several times and my friends and I still keep going there! It is usually empty at noon/lunch and you basically have the place yourself. It gets busier in the late afternoon to around 7 PM. It is around $27 per person but comes with unlimited meat, veggies, and soup mix. ALL YOU CAN EAT! You have to pay for the drinks. We usually get the best of both worlds soup and it is a mixture of the original and spicy soup. I love to add their thinly sliced marbled beef, mussels, shrimps (fresh!), fish and shrimp balls, quail eggs, napa cabbage, and bokchoy! I also never forget to order the amazing cucumber salad and the delicious fried bun. We mix our sauce the way the like it and usually consist of garlic, soysauce, chili, and chives. I would surely recommend this place.

It’s only a buffet style but they show full menu I don’t think you should be forced to eat buffet if that wasn’t your choice plus when you see your receipt there is a gratuity already added to the meal so please don’t tip twice! No one was in there we came when it first opened so everything was fresh. The service was ok but I won’t be back

As a schaumburg native this is my favorite take our restaurant! The food is amazing, huge portions and the best staff. Always recommend and my go to is the szechuan beef dinner with some crab ragoon is, again best takeout in schaumburg

8/2023 5* First time here. Made it in time for a lunchtime special pricing. That was helpful. Very, very full portion. I was highly impressed by the portion size! Taste was pretty good. I enjoyed my meal and enough for a second lunch as well.

Phở Son Ha

The food itself was excellent, flavorful, and authentic. Service was polite and moderately attentive. We were sat next to a window, and the atmosphere was so cold I felt a chill creep up my legs and back. Tap to pay is available, but the credit card machine isn't mobile to the table, so you'll need to walk up to the desk to pay by this method. Also for it being a restaurant, their credit card machine doesn't include a tip line, so they ask you if you want to leave a tip before running the card, which I find awkward. Aside from these service and comfort issues that need fixing, the food is quite good.

I LOVE it here so much i come here all the time with friends. The food is so gooooood i think about going here even on the days when they’re closed. some days i can’t wait for it to be 4 Pm already. I always get the regular pho tai and it’s always gone before I can even realize it. this place is my happy place after a long day simply because the food is just that good. Definitely give this place a try. Also the family that runs this restaurant is so attentive and super kind.

Indian Bistro

A week ago, late in the evening, my son and I found ourselves hungry and wanted to get Indian food. We Googled and found Indian Bistro, which online says is open until 9:30 pm, but it actually closes at 9:00 pm on weekdays. Despite arriving just 30 minutes before closing, the staff was incredibly friendly, kind, and willingly taking our order. The food surpassed our expectations, being both delicious and generous in terms of sauces and meat—the essentials. However, the portion of rice was on the smaller side, which is fine since we didn’t go there to eat rice ;-). Considering we paid over $30 for two dishes, bread and a drink, we expected better-quality plates and containers, but they were very flimsy. When you open the containers, it can get a bit messy. The place is perfect for a take-out. The Chicken Tikka Masala was delicious but had no kick, even though we didn’t request it to be mild. The Lamb dish was delicious, full of flavor. Because you get so much delicious sauces, we just made fresh rice, and had dinner next day. The paratha bread was another highlight, so delicious that I ordered couple extra pieces home. The staff, didn’t mind even though they were closing in a few minutes. If you want a good Indian to-go food - this is a place. We will definitely be ordering from there again

I’ve ordered from here a few times, but today’s dish of Chicken 65 was AMAZING. I had never tried Indian food until a few months ago and I can’t wait to try everything on the menu at Indian Bistro. Today was the first time I actually went inside and the employees could not have been sweeter. What a kind group of hard working people. And the atmosphere was so nice and inviting. I will for sure be back.

Chicago Culinary Kitchen

It was our first time here and it was a great experience. The service and atmosphere 10 out of 10. I gave the food 4 stars specifically because of the sliced brisket. We found it a tad dry, but holy crap. The chicken was insanely tender and juicy, fell right off the bone. Truffle fries good, Brussel sprouts amazing ands overall an incredible food and drink menu. I would definitely recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Must try! Great meats, barbecue, and cocktails. What else could you ask for. Make sure to ask about their daily specials. The smoked pastrami is amazing.

A solid choice for Thai food in the burbs. Even the ants love it! There was a tiny ant roaming around on my plate. It gave the food the thumbs up and I gave it a thumb. Our waiter was very nice and friendly. We ordered the chicken with garlic sauce, pad see ew, and the fried catfish. All were really good. Besides the ant, and the constant flying of a hungry gnat, the dining experience was good. I'm not a fan of the sticky rice and mango, but my dining partners in crime enjoyed it. The chicken in my dish was somewhat dry, but I get it... chicken is hard! Pad see ew was solid though. Overall, a good meal. BATHROOM REVIEW: Located in the back, past the kitchen, the bathroom was VERY nice. I think it was nicer than the restaurant dining area itself. Clean, modern, and pleasant, I'd sit on that bad boy any day.

Wow - I haven't dined here since the pandemic -- it was GREAT to be back! Anyway, I was craving Thai food big time, last Thursday night 1-2-2025, so I ordered almost $200 of it! (The online ordering system worked out quickly and smoothly!) All the food was spectacularly hot, fresh and delicious! My order was also ready on time and accurate! The inside of the restaurant looked cozy, festive and very clean too! (Maybe next time I'll dine in)!

To start off, the food here was a bit cheaper compared to the Libertyville location. I had dinner here twice and the food came really fast! The noodles salad and spring rolls were delicious. Servers were nice as well. Not to mention the interior design was elegant and had high ceilings. Will definitely be coming back again!

I deeply enjoyed this place. Fantastic customer service. Everyone is very kind and respectful the greatest people ever. Their food is delicious that fill not only your stomach, but also your heart with a touch of warmth. I recommend trying their dishes and visiting.

Chinese Palace Restaurant

First off, the guy who is always at the counter is so so so nice. Always smiling and polite. Secondly the food is just so good. Best crab rangoons I’ve ever had. Prices are unbeatable for the amount of food that you get. They give you a mountain of food. It is the best thing in the world. Love this place.

This is so DANG AMAZING that I had to come back to write a review! Found Chinese Palace by just driving by. Ordered the Salt & Pepper Chicken, Singapore Noodles and Fried Rice. They also gave me 2 Egg Rolls. I can Truly say this was the TASTIEST Food I've had in a long time! HIGHLY RECOMMEND everything we ordered - EVEN Better (if that was even possible) the Next day! I will made a special trip up here for my next Chinese Food craving! You must try them.
