Crab King Cajun Boil & Bar

694reviews

7/7/2024 the food was absolutely amazing. I’m from Louisiana and my expectations are low when I’m not home eating seafood. But this was just like back home! I ate here 2 days in a row when I was visiting the area! Second time was Togo order because they add 18% gratuity if you dine in. Even if I was only 1 person. I don’t think that’s fair.

A bit on the expensive side but it is worth it. Lemon pepper flavor with medium heat was enough for me. Sharing a bag boil is the best way and washing it down with a pacifico is perfect!

P.F. Chang's

Exceptional service and a cosy atmosphere. We went to celebrate our anniversary, and had a good time. Of course the Dynamite Shrimps is a must have. Also had the dragon roll, along with Pad Thai with shrimp and Tofu, while hubby had Salmon. The portions are ok. They can work with their serving size a bit. I’ve had better platting portions in Virginia & New York. But the flavour and taste was up to their standards!

Took my daughter here for the first time. The server was amazing! She explained the menu and refilled drinks without being asked etc. The appetizers were really good. We didn’t care for the eggrolls. Nothing the establishment did just wasn’t to our liking. Our entrees were a bit underwhelming. We order Changs spicy chicken and it wasn’t spicy for us. We also ordered the Mongolian Trio and it was too sweet for our liking. The fried rice was good. We drank the refreshers and they were Delicious and also free refills on them.

Wu's House Palos Park

Good food made fresh and generous portions for the price. We visited this location for dinner and lunch, glad that they have a main location here vs Tinley Park that we normally go to. This one is much larger and more grand. We Ordered the Kung Pao chicken, Basil chicken, and Pad Thai. It was all very flavorful. Try the Boba green tea or the Taro w tapioca if you have room. Lunch menu also offers good value for you money.

Came here for daughter’s birthday : this chef was hands down the best ever! I only come to Palos location where they are super clean and friendly and the restaurant follows suit for the patrons. Orland is also decent. We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves . This visit was a happy and satisfying visit .

Thai Smile

Good restaurant that's well established. The food is as good as I remeber it. Good portions, flavor and reasonably priced. Satay chicken comes in 4 pieces with traditional peanut sauce along with cucumber side. We also had Pad Thai, Green curry, and Pad Siew. You can always ask for the ground chilli, chilli sauce and fish sauce w Thai chili if you're on the adventures side and like things spicy. Cheers!

my partner and I have been looking for a very good thai spot seeming the one we used to go to closed it's doors. Then we came across Thai Smile. Walking in the atmosphere is chill, Food was very good from the crab Rangoon and the egg rolls down to the main entrees which were chicken pad Thai & catfish garlic. We asked for medium spicy and that's what we got. Every bite was delicious. We recommend you try out Thai Smile for yourself if you are looking for a good place to eat. We left content and full. 🤙🤙

QQ China Crestwood

Went here with a friend, they were just about to close up but the gentleman behind the counter agreed to make some food for us. I appreciate that greatly. Next time I may dine inside. I had Mongolian beef, I asked him if it was spicy and he said yes, but he said he could make it with less spice so I went with that. That was really good. My friend had chow mein with chicken and shrimp it look like. That was very good also. Also they have several flavors of smoothie. I had the banana one, and it was excellent. All in all, a great place to stop if you're in the Crestwood and Alsip area.

QQ China is absolutely the best Chinese Food Restaurant in the surrounding area and is strongly competing with other good Chinese Food Restaurants in the Chicagoland area. This Chinese food is not only high quality and cooked to perfection, but this restaurant provides very generous portions. Each rice we ordered could feed at least 4 people very well. Their Orange Chicken is amazing and their Crab Ragoon was very very delicious. If you're in the area, don't hesitate to order from here. Not only will you not know what you're missing, you'll be disappointed in your food if you go anywhere else in the general area. This is your go-to if your placing an order for pick-up or delivery for Chinese food.

China Garden - Hegewisch

I would’ve gave them 5 stars because the food is great and the service was great too. However, I ordered Shrimp fried rice and they add beef and chicken to it. I had to pick the chicken and beef out of my fried rice while eating it. Other than that everything was good. Best Chinese food I’ve had in a long while. Now I know to check my order before I leave the restaurant. Update: I had to come back and give them 5 stars. After looking at the menu again I realized the spicy shrimp fried rice comes with chicken and beef. Who would’ve thought that. I just thought it would be spicy. Make sure to pay attention to the menu.

Holy moly! New owners? New Chef? I've ordered from China Garden before, the food has always been ok, but the food today was next level!!! Everything was delicious. I was really impressed!!! What ever the reason, KEEP IT UP!!!

Hienie's Shrimp House

Great prices, good food, and service! Just missing my MILD SAUCE💔 Mild on and on the side are missing!! Had to use some ketchup 💔 For a twelve hour shift it would have been well deserved!

This was my first visit here and I went during lunch rush. To begin with, service is fast. I wish they gave a fork or napkins with my order though. Next, the atmosphere is hot inside and hard to squeeze in line (when it's busy). The waiting area is a decent size. Lastly, the Italian beef meat was tender and not chewy. It's comparable to other places I've been to. The pizza tasted better than I expected. Overall, the value for what I paid is good and it's a nice spot for a quick lunch. Take out only. Southside African Restaurant

OMG where do I start… this is the best African food I’ve had in Chicago #HandsDown It’s always so fresh, hot and beyond delicious and they aren’t stingy with the portions. I’ve tried things I would have never thought to try in life and I have no regrets. The service is always amazing and the restaurant is always clean and inviting. To make things even better you can always find parking no matter how busy they are. So back to this good a** food lol I have to get some at least once a week and that never seems to be enough. I love them dearly and I hope they always stay amazing and delicious

I can eat it every week! My favorite African restaurant in Chicago. Been going 2yrs now

Happy Lamb Hot Pot (Bridgeport)

184reviews

This was the first time my sister and I have ever had hot pot so there’s no experience to compare it to. With that being said we absolutely loved the place. We thought all the food was so fresh and delicious. The quality of the meats were great. We ordered the premium package. I’m not exactly sure what’s included because we went with the servers recommendations (she picked all the meats for us) There was a fresh bar for all of our topping to go in the hot pot. There was also a sauce bar where you could make your own flavorful sauce. We both ordered a pineapple smoothie. We really enjoyed it. Unfortunately you can’t take any of the leftovers so we stuffed ourselves while sitting and enjoying the atmosphere and conversation. We went at 11:45am which is pretty near opening so it wasn’t crowded at all. Never felt rush and the service was top tier.

Wow, we’re there around 2 pm and the place was packed! We ordered the original marrow broth, while we waited for the broth to come to the table, we went to the buffet area to get our items (seafood, veggies, noodles and all other varieties), also we mix our own sauce for dipping our meats! My favorite was the glass noodles and the shrimp paste! Beverage was included! After a full stomach, we still had room for the sesame seed balls with red beans on the inside, the fried dough drizzle with condensed milk and the ice cream! It’s free if you go on your birthday, just need to show ID!

When I say the atmosphere is very clouded, I will never come back to this restaurant. In addition to that the food was a complete disaster. The eggroll was the size of a chicken nugget. This is completely perplex of a business to sell items to be that expensive in the quantity size of it is Disrespectful….never again. Will I ever do business with this company in a million life times

Best food I tasted in this area. Fair prices. I got the pepper beef egg foo young and fried rice they are delicious. The lady in the front is nice and has great service. They also gave me free egg rolls because I spent so much. Will always come back to jwok best Chinese in the south suburbs

Ok I’ve been going here for years and never did a review and the reason why is that I’m from the chi but moved to Peoria and I must say best Chinese food hands down I travel from Peoria just to get this chicken fried rice always no disappointment delicious 🤤 all day get you some 10 stars if I could. And the staff is always friendly and everything is at a good price good job you guys.

I was in the neighborhood, so I decided to try this place for their lunch special. It comes with shrimp fried rice, combination egg roll, and a few options for a main dish. I ordered the Mongolian beef. It was tasty, tender, and a bit spicy. The food was fresh and delicious. However, I do wish they had shrimp egg rolls as I’m not a fan of the combination egg rolls. Nonetheless, I enjoyed everything for just under $10. I will definitely go again when in this area.

China Star Kitchen

Got a delivery and I can see that the Kung pao chicken can clearly see they had that prepared already and microwaved cuz the tray looks microwaved but the egg Foo young was fresh..always cutting corners.

Very good food the only place I could find near Hammond Indiana that's has good Chinese food everywhere is trash, lot of food for your money well worth it.
