I Wok Chinese Restaurant

Decent restaurant. Food came hot! Garlic sauce was very good! Prices are a bit higher than comparable places.

I had Sweet & Sour Chicken with Combination Fried Rice. It Was Amazing ! Fresh , Hot , And Tasty ! They Are My New To Go For Chinese Food / Asian Food ! The Flavors Remind Me Of When I Would Go To My Friends House And Cook Their Traditional Food. Fresh Is Always the Best and Price Is Easy On The Pocket !!! 😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰😍🥰

We had a fantastic dining experience here, and this was my second visit to the restaurant. We tried the cumin lamb, dry chili chicken, mapo tofu, fried beans, pork strips and stir fried fish . Each dish was packed with flavor and served in generous portions. I highly recommend their candied sweet potatoes—they’re a must-try! Looking forward to visiting again.

Absolutely loved our meal here. We got a big chicken platter with torn noodles (so crunchy and the sauce tastes good on everything), a combo shrimp and seafood noodle dish, hot and sour soup, and scallion pancakes. Portions were very generous and the wait staff were very helpful and attentive. We'll be back.

Lao Sze Chuan Chinese Restaurant and Bar

The ordering system is all online through the website, and you can "call" the waiter through the online portal if you need service. The food was great, and the portions were huge. The soup dumplings were okay, but they didn't have much soup inside them. Similar to family style minus the round table. There are plenty of vegetarian options and paid parking available in the back.

Food here is wonderfully spicy, fragrant and authentic. Highly recommend the salted egg tofu and Sichuan chicken. Nice atmosphere and clean. However service is a hit or miss, the first time I’ve been here service was fast and took care of our big group nicely with lots of rice. Second time it took 40 minutes between each dish and we were given 1 bowl of rice for 5 patrons, and it was hard to ask for another. Consistently, tables who came in after us were served first. I would recommend to not go here when it might be a little busy or you will expect a long wait.

Good spot for quick carryout. Recommend the mao pao tofu; they can make it with some heat. Crab rangoon were standard, nothing super exciting. The price for portion was on point and the sticky rice was also solid.

Hunan Chicken was great, with lots of veggies and ginger. Egg Drop Soup has a great egg flavor; the texture is thinner than many egg drop soups (whether that's good or bad will depend on your preference). Would definitely come again.

Green Jade

Green Jade.. simple & good! I would order from here again. The food was affordable and tasty. Nothing fancy but nothing worth being upset about. Great for an order in night! Not much to rave about for those that like to dine in the restaurant but it looked clean and tidy.

Everything is cooked to order, and very tasty. Fried dumplings are huge, and can be a meal by themselves. Pepper steak was very good, but I think the generals chicken takes the crown.

Super Wok

We've been going here for several months now and have never been disappointed 🙌 the food is always good and fresh, especially the Jasmine rice is so good 👌 we were originally introduced to Super Wok by my partner's work because they'd bought from here for the employees several times, so I can attest to their catering as well and everyone there really loves the food as well! Recommend the Orange Chicken, and the Mongolian Beef. The fortune cookies are so good too 🙌

Ordered 30 dollars worth of food, shrimp fries rice, shrimp egg roll, gso chicken. Rice was yellow, over cooked, plain, bland and tasteless. No flavor in shrimp nor rice, just onion in it and nothing else. No spoon, forks, nor napkins in my bag. No soy sauce nor sweet sauce. Egg roll was 2 out of 10. Gso chicken was on ,3 out of 10. Rice was horrible ,I don't like to waste food but i thew it away. Not worth my money, waste of my money and will not be back.

Zhangliang Malatang Champaign 张亮麻辣烫(原GG BOWL)

36reviews

One of my absolute favorite spots in town! This restaurant offers an incredible selection of flavors for Malatang and Malaxiangguo. All the ingredients are laid out beautifully, allowing you to pick exactly what you want – from meats to fresh vegetables and noodles. The ingredients are always super fresh and the broths are rich and flavorful. Whether you're craving something spicy or mild, there's something to choose from.

I've never been to a restaurant like this, and not in a good way. In terms of value, this was at the bottom of the list from literally every single restaurant I've ever eaten at. There was nowhere to park, I was forced to pay two blocks down the road to park my car. They charge $15 a pound and I swear they weighed the bowl or something without zeroing the scale. Very little food, somehow came out to 2 pounds. It was $30 per person, so $60, plus tax. Rice was a $1 upcharge. They charge you an additional fee if you want to pay with a credit card (pass the expense off on the consumer). Cash payment will lower your bill for obvious reasons. They still ask for a tip if you pay with a credit card on top of all the additional charges. The service here amounts to responding to a vibrating token, then you go get your food at the front counter. When you are done eating, you carry your dishes and place them into a receptacle that houses them. The total bill for 2 bowls was almost $70. This is the only restaurant I've been to where I lost my appetite in disappointment at purchase. The value here is lacking. Also, when you are picking your food, you use tongs to touch various red meats and fish, then you use the same tongs to touch vegetables and tofu later on. There is cross contamination galore and you will definitely experience the results later on when you make it to the bathroom. I will never return to this restaurant ever again in my life.

First Wok

This place surprised me in the best way! Lots of veg options and the veggies were fresh and well seasoned. I loved the snow peas and garlic and the bean curd in garlic. The bbq pork ribs were dry and didn’t seem super freshly made. They were flavorful though. This place has no atmosphere and doesn’t even have real chopsticks and forks which is disappointing that they are so wasteful. Overall loved the veggie options and would recommend takeout

Exactly what you should expect from a local family run Chinese restaurant, great food, great portions and super fast, don’t expect a bunch of frilly customer service, they’re a no nonsense place that does great takeout. They’re exactly as advertised I hope they stay in business as long as possible so we can keep getting our spicy shredded beef orange chicken and crab Rangoon order for years to come 🙏🏽

Ming Garden

We were just passing through on a road trip and were really craving decent Chinese food. Where we were visiting we ordered from a Chinese food place and it was so terrible we took one bite each and threw it away. On the other hand this little hole in the wall held up to the good reviews. My husband got general tsos and I got sesame chicken. My husband got pork fried rice with his combo and (through some miscommunication) I got plain fried rice. Both of our meals were excellent though I do wish I had gotten the pork fried rice. Our chicken was flavorful and crisp (not soggy which we hate) and I had even forgotten to say EXTRA spicy when ordering but it was still really good and packed with flavor. We also got crab rangoons which were the best I’ve had in years, they were actually so full with crab, I was going to take a picture to show it off but I didn’t have my phone handy. And lastly the egg rolls that came with our meals were delicious. We got way more than we bargained for at a crazy low price. I could only eat half a portion of my meal with the edition of the crab Rangoon I had and the egg roll I had, but we still have two egg rolls left. Half an order of rangoons and each of us half a meal left. We were shocked at the portions for the price. Where we’re from we typically spend $50 or more for our usual Chinese order and they don’t come with egg rolls. This place I think we spent about $35. All around a solid place we will return to when passing through again.

Food was very good with good sized portions. This is definitely not an eat in restaurant....pickup and delivery only. Food was fresh and hot....would go there again, no problem.

Golden Harbor Authentic Chinese Cuisine

1133reviews

Well if you want Chinese food you will definitely get it. I would not say it is the best Chinese food I’ve had… or even the most decent. Everything is self-service which is completely fine if not more streamlined (ordering, getting water, getting menus). But food is delivered by a waiter so that is good! Server was very nice and service was very quick even when busy, our food came out in less than 15 minutes (and we ordered a lot). I will say to use the ‘Americanized’ menu if you are not familiar with Chinese cuisine, then the Taiwanese menu, and lastly if you are adventurous try the attempt the read the 1000 item Authentic menu. RECOMMEND FOR BIG PARTIES: Order $120+ (pretax) for a free entree The food were all mostly meh, with a few outliers: the king mushroom dish, triple chicken dish, and the sweet pork-chop. Everything else was quite oily, lacking in salt, or flavorless. DO NOT order the wonton soup, unless you want a bowl of hot water.

decent option for authentic chinese food. felt that the dishes were a bit overpriced but they didn’t require any tip. just a $1.75/person cleaning fee, and utensils/napkins/water were all self-serve. we had the kung-pao chicken, green beans w/ bean curd paste, prawns, and beef belly w/ mala sauce. the kung-pao chicken was definitely my favorite.

Sticky Rice

543reviews

Dishes were a hit or miss but overall pretty tasty. The pad thai, the combo fried rice, and the sesame or general tsos chicken were among my favorites. The cashew mushroom chicken was pretty bland and not a lot of chicken. Also, medium spice is actually spicy so be careful.

Great atmosphere, service, and food. We had spring rolls, beef pho, and Bangkok fried rice. Everything tasted great. The beef pho was a bit saltier compared to phos we've experienced at other places, but it was still tasty.

Sunny China Buffet

520reviews

Very solid Chinese buffet. The selection is a little smaller than the other Chinese buffet in town but the quality is a bit better. The dishes are for the most part all pretty good though some are a little under/oversalted. Considering it's a Chinese buffet, the Mac and Cheese was actually surprisingly good. Overall, the price was 17$ for dinner after tax and tip, which I think is excellent value.

My first visit did not disappoint. The food was fresh and tasty. Great servers. I will definitely return.
