LemonGrass Sushi Thai tapas
Being totally honest the food was good by anyone standard just one of the dishes (cashew beef / no mushroom) we could’ve done without really wasn’t anything special so one star ⭐️ taken away bc of that but absolutely everything else was incredible. The atmosphere is second to none we ate outside and enjoyed the heaters on a chilly 🥶 Florida evening and enjoyed the downtown st Pete scenery service was also good … would highly recommend chicken satay , steamed dumplings and garlic sauce , Drunken beef noodle and pineapple 🍍 fried rice with chicken drizzled in peanut sauce
Lovely Thai restaurant in St. Pete. Fast, friendly, and delicious. We ordered the shrimp pad Thai, Massaman chicken curry, and some shrimp fried rice. Everything came out hot and fresh, the food was tasty and light. A great place to stop by with a nice happy hour that starts at 4:30. The portion sizes were generous and we were happy with everything we ordered! Will definitely be returning to try more of their menu!
Mini’s Crab & Shrimp takeout
Steamed-to-order Cajun/garlic blue crabs, shrimp, conch, corn & sides! The garlic shrimp & corn are a must & of course the crabs. There are 2 styles: - Cajun steamed whole crabs - Garlic sauce crabs: steamed, shell removed, cracked in half, thrown into a wok with garlic sauce! The fresh sliced conch came in a garlic broth that was way too salty. Maybe it was an off day or the broth was too reduced? So we asked a lady coming out with a cardboard tray full of takeout “How is it?” “It’s good! I’ve been coming for years!” It must be reasonably priced since it appears to be a place where the locals go. It’s been there for 25+ years. The owner is so nice. She ran it with her husband who passed away (his picture is on the wall.) A hidden gem! I hope this place becomes so well known that they sell out everyday! Support this family business. It’s best to call ahead so you don’t have to wait! We killed some time shopping at Mastry’s Seafood next door. At Mastry’s Seafood, pop open all the coolers & you’ll see a variety of fish! I even got frozen octopus & frog legs. The owners are so friendly & the family owned business has been there for years.
Best seafood in town! Must visit! Better than the rest!
Just 1 Taste of STL
Let me tell ya’ll this food was amazing and unique in taste. I LOVE the turkey ribs, I didn’t even know that was a thing. The Mac and cheese, fries, wings and peach cobbler were all a HIT in my house!! The customer service was excellent and it did not take long at all to get my food. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone I know 😃😋
This was some very great barbecue. A little of the pricey side but we certainly enjoyed every bit of it. The ribs just fell off the bone, the mac and cheese and baked beans were delicious. Such lovely people too talk with. Great customer service.. We will be back.
Sushi Inc
Sushi Inc: where the rolls are tight, the vibes are right, and I left so full I considered rolling myself home." First off, let’s talk about the menu—it’s a choose-your-own-sushi-adventure novel with plot twists like Yakitori, Tuna Towers, and something called an Oreo Sensation which sounds like a Boy Band but tastes like deep-fried dessert heaven. I started with the Takoyaki, because nothing says “trust the process” like eating fried octopus puffs covered in bonito flakes that wave at you like they’re alive. Spoiler: they’re not. But they are delicious. Then I blacked out and woke up to a Surf and Turf Roll that changed my life. Fried shrimp, spicy krab, asparagus, and strip steak all in one bite? It was like a hibachi grill and a seafood boil had a love child. Also ordered the JaleTuna Bites, which sounds like something that would appear on Hot Ones. These little jalapeño-stuffed bombs were cheesy, spicy, and tempura-fried—aka the three major food groups. And let me just say—the ramen is no afterthought here. I ordered the tonkotsu pork broth and suddenly felt like I was in a Tokyo noodle shop being spiritually cleansed by broth and steam. For dessert, I obviously went full maniac and got the Oreo Sensation. Five tempura-fried Oreo puffs that looked me straight in the eye and dared me to finish them all. I did. I’m proud. I’m ashamed. I have no regrets. Pro tip: They do $2 off rolls during happy hour. That’s basically a sign from the universe. In short: If you like sushi, snacks, and feeling like you’re making questionable but amazing life choices, Sushi Inc is your new religion. Just be prepared to unbutton your pants after.
I’m not in St. Pete often but this was right next door to an event I attended and my first time at Sushi Inc. Immediately loved the atmosphere and service, and the food was AMAZING! The spring rolls were so hot, fresh, and delicious with the chili sauce. I then ordered my own custom sushi roll and it was perfectly portioned and with great flavor. I highly recommend dining in at Sushi Inc in St. Pete - especially at the Sushi Bar! Steven, Sae, and Diana were amazing as I enjoyed their service and conversation. I will definitely be back again to enjoy more delightful items on the menu!
Crab House
Sooo yummy!!! So glad we found this gem. Best chicken wings around. Delicious fried rice, too. Only if this place were closer, we'd eat this every other day. There's only one cook and one other person at the register and yet they're so efficient at what they do. Super friendly people. Highly recommend, especially if you're in the area. Like why not?? Only if we didn't live 7 hours away, we'd have it again right now.
Geez Louise the eats here are really good! In a super comfort food way! The garlic wings combo includes your choice of stir-fried rice or fries, and a side of slaw. For garlic fiend’s like me, they won’t be garlicky enough. However, they are damn good regardless. Crispy, tender chewy goodness. The stir fried rice comes with soy sauce packets as it’s not salty at all, for those low salt folks, which is fine by me to add my preference. The surprise hit is the 1-ingredient cabbage slaw. It’s marinated in a slightly unique vinegary something that just works and found me wanting more!! So go with a bit of patience on the ordering process, etc. and you’ll be happy you did.
Top China
A small sweet and sour chicken with the included rice and a small plain lo mein was easily enough to feed 2 for dinner and still have some leftovers for $15. The food was good, definitely prepared fresh but was ready in just a couple of minutes. Worth a try for sure.
Tell me how these guys only have 4 🌟?!? Just ordered lunch from you an hour ago and absolutely 💯 you blew me away. Best egg rolls we had in years. Not too greasey and packed full of pork and veggies. Shrimp lo mein was soooo good, not soggy and the general's chicken was actually spicy 😋. The pork fried rice was full of pork and veggies, not just rice like a lot of places. I'm a major fan of general's chicken but no one makes it spicy anymore so thank you for being so traditional. The staff was so friendly too and restaurant was nice and clean. I found my new favorite place and would recommend to everyone. Thank you for our amazing lunch and we will definitely be back soon!
Nori Thai Restaurant
I picked up Tom Kha gai to go. It was just OK. I have had better. I’ll definitely go back and try a few more things- forgot to take a picture of my soup- but did get the menus and few shots of fresh sushi being made. Friendly staff!
2024-03-17 I visited this restaurant for the second time and ordered vegetarian sushi and Pad Thai. The food was delicious, especially the Pad Thai, which I enjoyed a lot. The service was excellent and very fast. Overall, I had a tremendous experience at this restaurant. 2024-03-02 Nori Thai is a Thai restaurant that offers a wide variety of Thai and Asian foods, including an extensive sushi selection. The service is fast, and they have an excellent selection of vegetarian options. The portions are generous, and the fish dish is noteworthy for its size and taste. However, the vegetarian curry I ordered was a bit hard, and I would have preferred it to be more tender. The restaurant also provides cocktails and drinks. I recommend this restaurant for its delicious food.
Ken Sushi & Asian Bistro
We arrived and it was busy but we were seated immediately. The server brought drinks right away and was friendly, quick, and knowledgeable. The food was outstanding! The teamwork was nice to see. Ken has been one of the best sushi restaurantaurs in the Tampa Bay area for 20+ years!
Best sushi ever!!! The Japanese monster and pirate roll are definitely so yummy if you enjoy shrimp tempura!! I wish the space was bigger but I enjoy the atmosphere either way!!
Frida's Cafe & Bakery
What a delightful jam-packed cafe, coffee shop, and European pastries. They have a huge list of gluten free and vegan items with the a disclaimer that there is possibility of cross contamination. It's a bakery! I loved the chickpea veggie obviously homemade from scratch. Delicious. The surprise was the little sidekick coconut cake. Yummy. How can you pass up a chocolate mousse in the shape of a mouse. Pastry straight out of European quality and traditions. Outdoor and indoor seating Venue, seating and parking all accessible. They have 1 all gender restroom and one women's restroom all accessible with grab bars.
This place is the best! From absolutely delicious and rich tasting cakes to pastries, breakfast foods, and coffee! I haven't had a single thing off of their menu or out of their displays that I haven't enjoyed. As for their cakes, you absolutely have to try a slice of their Fruit Torte. Very rich flavor, moist cake, and just the right amount of sweetness in their filling and frosting. The fruit on top is super fresh as well! My only gripes here is the lack of parking for just how popular it is. I had to loop around a few times to find a spot. Which is fine, as the service was super quick despite being so busy. Everyone there was very kind, and super attentive to make sure you got exactly what you wanted or needed. I highly recommend coming here for a nice breakfast, or any pastries you need.
Sekushi on the Beach
Ashley is an excellent server and the manager. The house salad was wrapped in cucumber slices and so tasty. The fried dumplings were crispy and crafted to perfection. The sushi wraps were exquisite and fresh. We dined outside in the front patio where we could smell the clean ocean air. The atmosphere is casual and cozy. And the wanton canoli was out of this world. We’ll be back!
I fall in love with the service and the food like ramen and dumplings are so delicious, made by local chefs but very professional. The server she is so nice and helps me open the heating, providing me hot water, also when I asked whether I can charge my phone, she said yes for sure. With greetings when I finished. I love the nice weather and people’s kindness! The only thing is the people who sat next to me are not that polite! But we cannot require everyone to be as polite as you expect or imagine.
Casa Tina Mexican
The service was great, we went right at opening. The place is beautifully decorated. We had the chile relleno and shrimp baja tacos. The tacos were good but not anything I would crave to go back to. It was served with a tartar sauce on the side which is not authentic to me. The tortillas were great, tacos should be made with corn not flour tortillas. Points for that. They charge for chips and salsa, hmm. Overall was good, enjoyed the ambience but didn't stand out as a place I crave to go back to again.
I had an amazing experience getting to know Tina! The food was amazing and the patio was a great vibe. The queso gave me an otherworldly texture experience. the atmosphere was really chill and fun! we sat on the patio. Best Mexican Food in all of dunedin! Not gonna lie though i be farting like crazy all day 🫦. Jocelyn our surver was great and was very attentive. the music was great, maybe add some maluma or ozuna?!
Joseph's Tea Room Clearwater, FL
I came here with my girls for an early Galentine’s Day. One of my girls had to cancel last minute at 11 PM the night before. Our reservation was at 10:00 AM. We were just going to eat the cost since it was late notice. They were very kind to waive our cancellation fee and didn’t charge us for the spot. I made sure to make it up in gratuity! One of my girls is gluten free and was asked if it was okay if their food was served on the tiered tower with the other foods. The tea room is pretty big and can sit several parties. We did the Afternoon Tea Experience. We each chose a tea and got a personal pot of it to ourselves! It was more than enough. I got the white strawberry basil but I actually enjoyed my friend’s white peach more. The starter salad was refreshing. You get 1 and a half sandwich. The egg salad on croissant was super yummy and the cucumber cream cheese is a tea time classic. The scones were soft and weren’t as hard as normal scones were. It was almost like a cookie texture which I enjoyed greatly. I was stuffed and couldn’t even get to the top tier with desserts. I took most of my pasteries home. Our group was actually the loudest (sorry other guests!). Our timing was perfect because as we were leaving a birthday party arrived and of course was louder than our small group. Go early! Overall it was a fun tea time themed experience! It’s more fun to dress up. I would go again and would recommend the experience to everyone.
My husband got me the afternoon tea experience as a Christmas gift. The atmosphere is very charming and cute! It was very nicely decorated, and I LOVED that every table has different tea sets! The tea was good, my husband wanted ice tea, and we did get one glass of ice. The server said she would bring more ice and never did. She was distracted. Oh, well. The food was good! I had egg salad on croissants and the cucumber with cream cheese on white. My husband was supposed to get Ham salad, but got egg instead... servers was distracted... but oh well, we are not picky. They were both very fresh and delish. The scones were good as well. They had a very cakey like texture, but flavors were great! Loved the cinnamon scone! The desserts were nothing special, and we didn't finish any of them. Honestly, I could have gone without them. Service wasn't great, staff was distracted tending to the young child in the shop.... and that brings up my last point. It is VERY clear that children under 5 are NOT allowed (posted on the website and front entrance) If this is a policy and customer cannot bring young children in, I'm not sure why the owner would feel it was okay to have their own young children there. People pay quite a bit for this experience and don't expect to have young children be a distraction, yet they were. Said young child was crawling on the floor, under tables, and pulling down decorations. Overall, for 39 per person, would have expected better service. It's not somewhere I would go back.
