EDIT: the manager reached out and invited us back in to make up for the experience we had in my original review. This time was like night and day! Our server, Jessica, was fantastic and super attentive. The food came out quickly and everything was delicious. Definitely try the beef bulgogi if you eat meat, it was so so good! We appreciated being invited back in and are looking forward to our next time in. 1 star experience. We unfortunately couldn’t even eat at Hawkers since a server never came over to our table. Staff just continually walked by or were talking near the kitchen. It was Thursday at around 3:20pm so not very busy. We sat for over 10 minutes with no one coming to get our order or bring us waters. Tables that came in after us at least got drinks. The host had no idea what was going on so we left, he didn’t even know they offered happy hour specials. So disappointing as we really enjoy the food. This is not the first time the service has been a miss.

Every time I come here it's a great time, with great service. I try something new every time and haven't had a bad experience yet. Wings are fabulous! The food is so good and I love the sort of tapas environment. great Japanese beer selection, sake was awesome (definitely recommend the Pearl!)

The menu offers a fantastic variety of flavorful dishes, all prepared with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chili’s, where I experienced exceptional service under the leadership of Brian, the manager. From the moment I arrived, it was evident that Brian is deeply committed to providing a top-tier dining experience. His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care for both guests and staff set a remarkable standard. Brian ensured that every detail of our visit was seamless, from prompt service to ensuring that our meal exceeded expectations. His ability to create a welcoming atmosphere while maintaining efficiency and organization is truly commendable. What stood out most was Brian’s hands-on approach. He actively engaged with guests, addressing any needs with a positive and solution-oriented attitude. It’s clear that his leadership fosters a strong team dynamic, resulting in an outstanding customer experience. Chili’s is fortunate to have a manager like Brian, whose dedication to excellence makes all the difference. I highly recommend this location, and I look forward to returning.

I ordered a chicken and beef combo fajita, and the beef was absolutely terrible. It was incredibly fatty and impossible to chew. I had to spit it out. I told the waiter about this, and nothing was done about it.

So many dining experiences hinge on the individuals taste in food compared to their expectations. Stone Soup sits in a class all by itself because the sandwiches and soup will be loved by all. But beyond the great selection, the true magic is in the staff. Each of them are a true joy to talk with and really care about their job. Big shout out to Jenny for making us smile each week. Thank you all for everything!

Late lunch from earlier called for a later dinner…so after working till about 9pm, I took a look at my late night options near the Fairfield Inn on 54th in St Pete…not many but then I found this gem, which by the maps it looks like it’s in the middle of a neighborhood but had amazing reviews and has been open a looooong time according to the bartender…was a slower than usual night…only one other patron at the bar, one of the kitchen guys that just got off work…both gave me some solid recs…I got the oven roasted wings, buffalo, which aren’t my favorite preparation method but these were REALLY good! Had them at the bar, one other patron came in and we started talking about the wings until I left to go back to do more work with my chicken salad sandwich…it was not only delicious (I didn’t realize how much I missed alfalfa sprouts!) but HUGE! Didn’t even eat the whole thing but didn’t want to stop eating either…made in house chicken salad was amazing! If you’re in the area, definitely check them out…I plan on going back with co-workers…a very chill, pub vibe!

For business or pleasure, this place is fun! The interior has so much to look at and enjoy- a canopy of flower blossoms at the bar, downtown neon signs on the way to the washroom, open kitchen by the sushi bar and intimate outdoor seating if the weather is pleasant. The sushi was awesome and they had a great selection of sake and beer. They have hot food as well. They also offer half-off bottles of sake one day during the week (currently on Thursdays). Lots of street and garage parking available and a great jumping off point if you have other activities you are going to in the area. TIP: the front entrance is down the stairs!

This place is really a vibe🙌🏻 Great food, great drinks, and great ambiance brings a crowd. Both selection and ambiance are top notch. Service was great. Location is prime and what they’ve done with the place really makes it a fun spot. I’d go as far as to say this is one of the better spots for a night out in St. Pete…starting or finishing, if you like Asian cuisine and modern urban fusion culture this is a spot to check out.

I have enjoyed lunch here a number of times. I find this is a location that I can even enjoy when dining alone! The large screen televisions play video of Asian street food being prepared. I also like to sit at the bar and watch the chefs create the variety of dishes. The menu includes popular dishes from China, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines…all delicious! I love the soup dumplings and all of the curries! The Thai tea is delicious!

Nice restaurant with decent food. However, I went with my friend who is vegetarian and she was pretty shocked to see lack of options for her. I hope to see vegetable broth here in the future! Other then that, pretty good.

I absolutely love this food truck! The owner is super friendly, the portions are generous, and everything this freshly made to order. The camarones al ajillo (shrimp in garlic sauce) with arroz con habichuelas & tostones was to die for. The churrasco with mofongo (possibly the best mofongo I’ve ever had) with tostones was also amazing. I felt like I was back in Puerto Rico.

Ommfg I just walked back to the hotel with Chicken Supreme Nachos in a styrofoam container and tore into the most delicious nacho experience of my long life. Big ups Tres Palmas!!

I had lunch here for the first time and I really enjoyed it! They have a really great lunch special, you can choose two sushi rolls and you get a soup or salad and small serving of edamame that comes with it. The two rolls I chose came out to $10.85. I also ordered a small side of veggies. The spicy tuna roll was good (not amazing), the sushi rice tasted a little al dente which is not ideal. But overall I had a good experience. Staff was super attentive and the place felt pleasant and wasn’t crowded. I’ll definitely come back.

A great variety of sushi, tempura, and other Asian delights. The food was delicious and reasonably priced for lunch. The service was good. The atmosphere was good as well. I would recommend Hooks if you are looking for authentic Asian fair and excellent sushi.

I love that they moved to Grand Central. They have more space, inside and out, and food/drink options. One of our favorite spots to grab a quick and delicious meal, or stop by for a boba on the go. The staff are all friendly and attentive. Their lunch menu is a great deal and portioned just right to satisfy you. They have vegetarian selections, sushi, Thai, Laotian dishes. Parking is limited, street only. I highly recommend checking them out if you haven’t!

This was an excellent choice. I stumbled upon this place during a lunch break and was pleasantly surprised. The bar service was phenomenal—Kim was funny, attentive, and very helpful. The food arrived quickly, looked great, and was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was inviting, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. I enjoyed the medium lunch special and a Bobba Thai Tea. My total bill was around $23, which is a great value. I'll definitely be back.

It’s been a while since I’ve stopped in for lunch on a whim, but was craving Thai and luckily the parking gods opened a spot for me after driving around for 10 mins. Central Avenue needs more parking but I digress. As soon as I walked in, I was quickly seated and brought water, clear broth soup w/ rice and fried garlic w/ scallions(I honestly could eat a large bowl of that) and a crisp spring roll w/ a sweet ish orange duck sauce before ordering. I enjoyed a chicken pad Thai(the best in the city!) w/ a side of jasmine rice for an extra fee. The lunch specials are large and filling, $12.95, worth it. Servers are friendly, food comes out quick and fresh.

9 Bangkok Thai and Sushi has one of only 3 “Destination” sushi rolls which I have not seen anywhere else. “The St. Pete Roll” is amazing. Don’t try to bite a piece in half. Put the whole piece in your mouth and let it wash over you. My pics can’t do it justice. I am posting pics of the menu because it’s not available online unless you open a delivery service app.

Affordable, tasty, and family owned. I have basically watched the kids grow into amazing adults helping their mom. The food is always good and the customer service is A1. The miso is good and my favorite roll, the key west is to die for!

Our amazing neighborhood sushi hideout...still reminisce on the dine in days like a fine sake. Takeout is still the best around. Great people and great sushi and easier than cooking every night of the week!

Everything was so incredibly delicious. I still can't get over how good that bang bang chicken dirty rice was. The service was amazing! I went on a Thursday night, and the guys working there were super friendly and helpful! The vibe was cozy and laid back. I have nothing but great things to say about this restaurant. If you're deciding on where to go eat , just go here. You won't regret it 😊👍🏻

We had such an amazing experience at Shiso Crispy. Not only was the food phenomenal, but the worker Mike that helped us was extremely kind and patient with us, answering all of our questions and giving us great recommendations. Our favorite thing was absolutely the lobster rangoons. They are a must get. We also got the bang bang chicken and ahi tuna dirty rices and both were incredible and the portions were so filling! You definitely get your bang for your buck here. The short rib bao buns were some of the best bao buns we’ve ever had as well. All in all this place is a must for anyone looking for great food with great staff and a vibey atmosphere and we will absolutely be returning again!
