Pepo's Cuban Cafe
Bueno, Bonito y Barrato. Best Cuban food in the area. Fast and courteous service. Very clean. Amazing
Great breakfast for a very affordable price! I order their special for $4.99 that inckudes a coffeee con leche, Cuban bread, and eggs for $4.99; i can pay over $8 for a mediocre, at best, McDonald's meal. Also, their home made hot sauce is delicious! Staff is always super friendly!
Matjoa Korean BBQ Restaurant
Matjoa(맛조아/means ‘Taste Good’ in Korean) is our go-to spot for a delicious and satisfying Korean meal! Their all-you-can-eat lunch is a fantastic deal—you get to enjoy a great variety of fresh meats and side dishes, all grilled to perfection right at your table. The food is authentic and full of flavor, from the well-seasoned meats to the tasty banchan (Korean side dishes). The service here is exceptional—Su and the rest of the staff are always so friendly, attentive, and quick to help with anything you need. They make sure your grill is fresh, your drinks are refilled, and your experience is smooth and enjoyable. We absolutely love this place and keep coming back! If you’re a fan of Korean BBQ, you definitely need to check out Matjoa. Highly recommend!
This restaurant was surprisingly excellent! From the exterior, we were not expecting much, but we wanted to try something new, and it was a hidden gem. The food was delicious, bustling with flavor from homegrown ingredients, and cooked to perfection. The service was stellar, the staff was friendly, and the master chef cooked up fantastic creations.
Cafe Cibo
Food, Service & atmosphere 20/10!!!!! Tutto Pizza 🍕,Shrimp scampi in that amazing lemon 🍋 butter 🧈 base, yum yum and the dessert was tiramisu and was INCREDIBLE! We ordered an octopus 🐙 and were tender and firm and delicious too. And for last, let’s talk about the “secret sauce”….. need to try it out! See you next week!!!!
We came for dinner and didn’t really have to wait long to be sat. We sat out on the patio. The waitress we had said she was the manager, but I can’t remember her name- she was great! I got a shrimp alfredo, and my partner ordered a bolegnese, that I thought was pretty good but wasn’t for her. We let out waitresses know and she brought out a couple sauce options to try to make sure she got a dish that she would like, and she ended up going with the Pomodoro and that sauce was very good too! The bread was delicious, I loved the focaccia. I’d recommend and can’t wait to come back
Coco's Crush Bar and Grill IRB
Great service and wonderful food. We had the grouper sandwich, gator Nuggets. Our waitress was awesome names Heidi from Muskegon, Mi. She gave us good drink suggestions as well as best for choices. Will be visiting again soon!
Good atmosphere, we went on a Friday night and there was a live singer (our experience was only mildly tainted by our server revealing that he was actually lip-synching - wish we didn't know that!) Service was good, friendly. Food was ok but a bit of a let down. Mahi Mahi was fresh tasting but a bit cold, chicken wings were under-cooked, fries cold, the Gator bites were interesting but a bit 'mushy' and very salty. Maybe it would be better on a different night.
SPECIAL PHO
Went here for the first time today on a very cold and rainy day and it really hit the spot! I had the chicken pho and it was really delicious. Flavorful broth and overall tasted fresh and healthy. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!
So my wife and I just visited Vietnam a few months ago and this might be some of the better pho I've had outside of Vietnam. Seemed much more in line with a more traditional style yet is a little elevated. Their broth was super flavorful and the portions were huge. The meat was super tender and delicious as well. The fried egg rolls were a little different spin on the simple style but were soooo flaky and tasty. Really, everything was top notch and the service was excellent. We for sure plan on coming back in
China Star
There is No Customer Service. The girl at the front is totally useless. She doesn't listen to what you ask and leaves out part of your order. The food wasn't bad but I can't deal with pathetic people so that's it for me.
Food is pretty good my mom love the egg rolls Staff not too friendly (lady at counter rushed my service) she definitely needs to be replaced. place looks a bit ran down dinning area very outdated
Jinju Korean Grill and Sushi
We started with the Angry Tuna sushi roll, which was incredibly fresh. For our main course, we shared the starter grill meal for two, featuring galbi, teriyaki chicken, bulgogi beef, and bulgogi chicken. It was a delicious and intimate dining experience, well worth repeating. Our servers, Chelsea and Brian, were fast, thorough, and friendly. We’ll definitely be back!
Super cute! Food was great and service was even better (Chelsea served us)! We live in the neighborhood and this will be our new spot to host our guests ❤️.
The Spot Sushi Burritos Ha Long Bay
The Spot has a combo of Thai, Vietnamese and Japanese food with some burrito twists as well. One of my favorite spots with really good Asian food. I come here as often as I can!
ADDENDUM-RECEU ED A CALL BACK FROM THE OWNER. THE $ WAS REFUNDED, AND THE CALL WAS AMIABLE AND SATISFACTORY. TO BE FAIR..THE OWNER WAS CONCERNED & WILL CHECK WITH THE CHEF. AS FOR ME .. IM WILLING TO GIVE IT ANOTHER TRY AT ANOTHER TIME. 2/20/25 Been to this establishment many times ..but after today will not be returning. Ordered what was supposed to be the grilled pork chops, with side salad and rice The pork chops were way too salty to eat...and too hard, almost stringy. They were not tender like usual. So I called to offer feedback: the person who answered indicated she would let her supv. know. A few min later she called back stating that the supv. was now requesting that I send a photo of the pork chop to her cell phone! Have you ever heard of such a thing?? What could you verify from a photo? I certainly know they couldn't taste it nor could they tell how tough the chop was. And why compel an emplyee to convey theur personal cell # to any customer as part if the solution! Needless to say I complied. A few min later ..The same person called back. not the supv .. with yet another request . The supv was now requesting for ME to give the supv a call?. Seriously?? Why would that be appropriate service recovery at this point? The young lady was very apologetic and said my $ would be refunded OK fine... but if you can't call a loyal customer back .. why should the customer come back???Just sayin'.... so you have my review.
O.E.C JAPANESE EXPRESS
This restaurant offers quite a variety of unique rolls. The Golden Dream Roll blew our minds! It had fresh Salmon inside and fired shrimp and avocado on the top. It tasted divine! Titanic roll was delicious. Our service was awesome. The ambiance is nice and clean. Overall, we had couple great dinners and fair value for what we ordered.
A friend of mine had a taste for Japanese food so we dined here. It was nice that they have menus placed outside the restaurant. I ordered the steak yakimesi based on a previous review. The portions were pretty good for the price and it tasted delicious. I also had egg rolls (pork, I believe). My friend ordered the katsu and had a house salad. He was satisfied as well. The waitress was patient and very polite. It wasn't busy when we visited so that was a plus. I will have to try the shrimp egg rolls next time. I didn't notice they served takoyaki so I plan to try that as well. I would recommend dining here if you're in the area. Clean and affordable dining.
Hong Kong Restaurant
Been to Hong Kong Restaurant a few times. It’s pretty great all around. Everyone in the area said the Chinese food around here is bad, but I enjoyed it. Comparable to the spots I frequented back in New York. The food has been consistently fresh and tasty. Today was the first time getting fried rice. It was a little plain. But everything I’ve had so far has been great.
I've been getting the same order of singapore mei fun and fried dumpling's for a while. Always fresh and delicious. All workers have a good vibe.
Fortu
The restaurant has a lovely, cozy vibe with tasteful decor and a great ambience perfect for a relaxed night out. We started with the tuna tartare and sweet potatoes, both of which were absolutely delicious. For mains, we had the black cod and steak; the cod was just okay, but the steak was solid. Cocktails were impressive and definitely a highlight. Service was decent, though not exceptional. Parking can be a bit tricky, and there weren’t any menu options for kids, so it’s better suited for adults. Overall, a great spot for good food and a great atmosphere.
Went for a birthday- we did the 4 course meal and had 1 cocktail (too sweet/not balanced) - several upcharges for options on the meal - total was $233 for 2 people. The start was good (tuna tartar) the second we had the gyoza (not great) and the chard cabbage (drowned in sauce- not great). Entree of Miso Cod hands down the best cod ever - wow. Delicious, delicate, and perfectly cooked. Dessert was beautifully presented, but the ube cheesecake was good, but again not great - I was expecting everything to be kind blowing at their price point. Excellent service and lovely atmosphere.
Pin Wok&Bowl
We came in early evening and there were plenty of seats available. We ordered the summer rolls which i recommend and I had the drunken noodles for mains- the flavour is quite peppery. My boyfriend ordered a poke bowl which he also said was vert good. Portion sizes are good. Staff are friendly and welcoming.
I order on uber eats so can’t speak to the actual dinning experience. But ordered their rainbow curry soup and essentially just got panang curry. If I wanted panang I would have ordered that, and was expecting a coconut broth not thick curry. I feel like it’s false advertising and not what I wanted or expected. I tried calling multiple times to ask if this was a mistake and cannot get through.
