Panda Express
Omg the best food ever, every time it’s like the first, every bit it’s paradise, I enjoy this life when I’m in panda😌
The workers are very friendly. Everytime i go there's long lines and slow service. And this Panda Express is very skimpy on their food. It's as if the owner takes it out of their paycheck, if the employees give a good amount of food. It's alright I guess. When I dont want to drive out to the one on the other side of Channel Islands.
Panda Express
I stopped by here today during lunch time to get food. I wanted something else but their app was having issues so I decided to go to Panda Express since it was near my work office. I found parking easily in their limited small lot. I can tell that this Panda Express get busy because there was already people inside. I went with the plate option chow mein and my 2 entrée was Beijing Beef & Kung Pao Chicken. I also got a small drink as well. The lady loading my food was nice and she made sure to give me a decent portion of the entrée. They have some tables to eat inside and outside as well but I took it to go to eat in the office. I'm happy that this place has cherry coke as an option for the fountain drink and they had Sriracha as well for the sauce.
I usually don’t like rating places with a 1 star but their Food wasn’t that great, I had stomach bloating and cramps after eaten there! The service was good, they staff was very nice just that the cook or the preparation of the food wasn’t cooked properly. Also, I read, that someone had hair in there food, I’m hoping that wasn’t the case the reason why I’m having stomach issues now?
Szechuwan Garden
This is my go-to Chinese Restaurant in Simi Valley, and I love the food! I had my favorite, the House Special Spicy Noodle Soup, Dinner Size (Extra Spicy.) Consistently delicious, full of meat, noodles and spices ... served up hot and spicy. I look forward to my next visit.
Very good food! Everything was HOT not salty and absolutely delicious! We went right before closing and they welcomed us in and made us a wonderful meal. Relaxing and very clean restaurant. Cashew Chicken was the best I’ve ever had! Server was so nice and packed me extra crunchy noodles to go! Definitely try this place!!
Peking Inn Restaurant
I came here with a customer we were in the mood to grab some Chinese food and he was right by here and having seen so many of my yelp friends who love this place. it was a no brainer. Our lunch line up consisted of; Hot & Sour Soup - thick and rich with flavor Hot & Crispy Chicken - deep fried chicken with a toss in spicy sweet sauce Mongolian Beef steak - with scallions, black pepper and onions sautéed together. Beef with Black Pepper - it consists of sliced beef that is first marinated in a soy sauce and wine mixture tossed in a black pepper sauce with, onions, and green pepper served on a bead of lettuce. the green tea was very good too. The service was very good it wasn't too busy so we got a nice booth. definitely will return for more yummy Chinese goodness.
Service was impeccable. Prompt and very welcoming. Restaurant was clean and well maintained. The food was pretty average.
Sesame Garden
I have dined in on several visits at Sesame Garden in 2024 and "Walked In" to Dine In on Saturday January 4, 2025. On each visit I was ignored/not acknowledged by the "Only Employee" who was the Server (possibly owner or family member) on each occasion. She would Not acknowledge my presence or come to my table to take my order, while assisting other customers. I did voice my displeasure out loud while sitting patiently to have my order taken while dining there on different occasions. Other issues, If I didn't order a drink, she became irritated. If I asked for additional "Sweet & Sour Sauce", she would become irritated. If I asked for extra napkins, she would become irritated. She catered to those speaking her native language which I presume made her most confortable. I patronized the restaurant because I enjoyed eating their food. Unfortunately the service was mediocre so I will venture out for other "Chinese Restaurants" in Camarillo who can make "Spicy/Hot" Chinese food which is hard to find in Camarillo.
I recently dined at Sesame Garden Restaurant, and it was a delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant's decor was tastefully done, creating a cozy and inviting ambiance. The menu at Sesame Garden offers a diverse range of dishes, and I was impressed by the quality of the food. The flavors were rich and authentic, showcasing a genuine passion for Asian cuisine. The sesame chicken I ordered was particularly outstanding, with a perfect balance of flavors and textures. The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations. They made sure that my dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Additionally, the pricing was reasonable, making it an excellent value for the quality of food and service provided. Whether you're a fan of Chinese, Japanese, or other Asian cuisines, Sesame Garden Restaurant is definitely worth a visit. Overall, I highly recommend Sesame Garden Restaurant to anyone seeking a memorable dining experience with delicious Asian cuisine in a welcoming environment.
Chester's Asia Chinese Restaurant
The best hot & sour soup. It has a lot of meat, tofu veggies. My husband said the best chinese food he had. It' s not salty. Meat are soft. The roasted duck is amazing, my husband' favorite .
Loved it. Great food. Friendly staff. Awesome decor. Like going back in time. Clean.
Happy Bowl Express
I stopped by Happy Bowl Express on a whim, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome, and the place had a great vibe. The food? Next level. Every dish I tried was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. You can tell the management really cares about the customer experience and takes pride in what they serve. It’s rare to find a spot that hits on both quality and service like this. I’ll definitely be coming back!
This place is a hidden gem! It was a little tricky to find at first because of the nearby construction, but once I found it, there was plenty of parking and it was totally worth it. The staff was super polite and greeted me right away—service was fast, friendly, and efficient. Now the food… absolutely incredible. Hands down the best Asian food I’ve had in Camarillo. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked just right. You can tell they take pride in what they do. I’m so glad I gave this place a try—definitely coming back and bringing friends with me!
Mom Wong Kitchen
Great hidden Chinese food gem located in the behind the library on Channel Islands University campus. Authentic, fast, good prices, and tasty. I would consider the portions to be somewhat family style. Each plate could feed two people. Be sure to specify if your meal comes with rice. Boba and smoothies are refreshing and not too sweet. My faves are the wontons with chili oil and garlic noodles with pork and veg.
I did not expect to find authentic, chewy Chinese noodles in this apartment plaza - probably the best in a 30-miles radius. The girl who took my order was nice, and the owner/chef was very accommodating (I spoke Chinese with her). Location is strange, but it's a simple setting with delicious food and good prices.
Hunan Garden
We were looking to get some good quick Chinese take out. We hit a homerun with Hunan Garden. We ordered way too much food but oh well. We get some good leftovers for the next day or so. The customers service was excellent and the food was delicious. We ordered beef fried, chicken with broccoli, chicken with soft noodles, shrimp with lobster sauce, and egg rolls. We would definitely go back to this place again.
Absolutely cluttered and mismanaged. I asked for water and this lady goes into a deep freezer with bare hands and puts ice in a greasy grey cup. No sanitary conditions whatsoever. The lady at the front demanded that I leave a tip after competing the transaction and nearly made it a requirement. Afterwards she commented that this wasn’t Mexico and that I’m not back in my country to be acting like a immigrant. She then proceeded to change my amount on a receipt I had already signed. I’m notifying my bank and I am never recommending this place to anybody ever. One of the worst lunch experiences I’ve ever had.
Panda Express
We love this panda! Staff is wonderful, food is always fresh and yummy. So happy this is our local panda express. Definitely would recommend. They consistently have the best chow mein!
The food isn’t great. The heavy sauces make everything taste the same and seem to cover up low-quality ingredients. That said, it’s super cheap—kind of like the McDonald’s of Chinese food: artificial and made for the masses. Service is OK
Mandarin Lotus Fine Chinese Fusion Cuisine
Terrible Experience – Misleading Prices and Poor Service My wife and I decided to try this place based on the good reviews, but our experience was extremely disappointing. We came with our toddler and were surprised to find they didn’t have a high chair—something we’ve never encountered at a sit-down restaurant. It was inconvenient but manageable. The pricing on the menu is misleading. There’s a $3 upcharge on every dish during dinner hours, which isn’t clearly stated. To make matters worse, we were told it would cost $2–$3 extra just for more spice. We love spicy food but refused to pay extra for something that’s typically standard at any restaurant. Another red flag: they don’t serve regular water—only bottled, which feels like a forced charge. We ordered Kung Pao Chicken and Mongolian Beef. Each dish had 5 tiny pieces of meat buried under a mountain of onions. It felt like we paid $49 to eat vegetables and rice. To top it off, a server made my wife uncomfortable by commenting, “Wow, you took so much,” after she used a normal amount of hot sauce. Completely uncalled for. The waitress even gave us a sob story about the restaurant’s expenses—as if that justifies the poor value and bad service. This was the worst dining experience we’ve ever had. We left feeling frustrated, ripped off, and honestly confused how this place has so many good reviews. Shame on them.
1 Star - Terrible Experience We came here based on the 4.3 rating but had a really bad experience. They don’t offer regular water—only bottled. When we asked to make our food spicy, the waitress (Kim) said there’d be an extra charge. We ordered Mongolian Beef and Kung Pao Chicken—both had barely any meat and were loaded with onions. It felt like we were just eating onions and rice. I asked for hot sauce, and after I used some, Kim rudely told me I took too much and took the bottle away. There was no service, no courtesy, and the attitude was awful. After reading more reviews at home, we noticed others also mentioned fake-looking positive reviews. Definitely not going back.
Panda Express
I always love the service here. Very friendly employees
Food is great... But most of the time the ratio of the entree is not proportion. Vegetable is 70% Meat is 30% only when combined. Should be the other way around. Great example is Beef Brocolli, Pepper Steak. You cannot find the protein. It's like you are always paying for the veggies. Great propotion should start with the preparation of each entree. The serving is depends on how generous the server is. Should have standard serving.
