Quick stop for lunch while visiting Navy Exchange in Port Hueneme Base. Customer service was good, large portion veggies- rice, small portion of actual chicken and mushrooms. Food was your typical Asian fast food, it was decent. If your in the area, give them a try. At home in SC I normally would not eat here. Just a preference for me

Got a plate with beijing beef and firecracker shrimp. Not a fan of the shrimp but the rest was good. Really wish they had the sweet fire chicken. There is plenty of seating and the portion size was good.

The environment was friendly and welcoming, and I truly enjoyed my meal here. I'm hoping for the opportunity to return. The food tasted great, and I was delighted that my first attempt at the Braised Beef Noodle Soup wasn't too spicy, finding it pleasantly mild.

Their newest store. Beautiful place. Too bad it was overcast with the fog rolling in tonight, but I can imagine the entire outdoor seating area packed on a warm sunny day, or balmy evening, with cool ocean breezes. Prime location. Decor: I love the circular XLB steam container theme throughout the main dining (ceilings and booths.) Very cool. I also love the high ceiling with frosted glass panels to allow natural light. Though it was too cold to sit outside, I look forward to coming back during the day for lunch. Have lunch then spend the day around the SM Pier boardwalk, or 3rd Street.Promenade 1 block away. The food was as consistent as usual. The 5 of us ordered a lot of food. 20+ dishes. See photos. Looks familiar because the food is consistent. The service was very good. Golan was our waiter. Great smile and service. They've only been open since Valentine's Day, and DTF is reservations only right now. But I heard they're working on opening up for walk-ins in. April.

EXCELLENT Experience.. ℹPhoned-in my Carryout order. Guy on phone very professional, knowledgeable & polite. My food was ready within 2 minutes after i arrived. Lady Luisa was super nice & welcoming. She is genuinely personable & sweet. My combo Chow-Fun & War won-ton soup was hot & absolutely delicious & exceeded my expectations. Also the takeout packaging was sealed well, No Leaks or spills in bags. Also included chop sticks, spoon knife fork, napkins, several soy sauce, sweet n sour sauce. Everything was PERFECT. Portions were very good, & prices reasonable too. ℹ am really looking forward to another imperial chinese meal soon. Artēē

We ordered three lunches- a Kung Pao triple delight, a Kung Pao shrimp and a Ma Po Tofu. All came with wontons, a soup (egg drop or hot and sour), and plain white or fried rice. The service was excellent. The total price tag was within $35 with tax. An excellent deal. All three items were delicious.

Walked in and greeted immediately by a nice dude. Luckily place wasn't busy so he took our order right away. The portion is big and the food tasted fresh! I ordered chow mein, orange chicken and kung pow chicken. Food was amazing! Honestly I wish I could finish it but I took the rest home. Portion was crazy huge haha! I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area! Good luck Panda Bowl!

This place reminds me of when I used to eat Chinese food in LA as a kid. It's the only place with the same taste. They are extremely friendly also.

Got some food Togo here at Tasty China. We tried the duck, honey walnut shrimp, orange chicken, and Pork Xia bao. Every thing was delicious, the pork xiao and duck were top notch. The orange chicken wasn’t my favorite but it was still good. A little pricey, but good portion sizes!

Update 2024: Still one of the best authentic Chinese restaurants in the 805. My family ordered for Christmas, making it a tasty and easy holiday feast. Some of our faves are the Xiong long bao, honey Walnut shrimp, Chili fish, BBQ ribs, green onion pancake and Chow mein. Always such a pleasant visit!!! 2019: Authentically Tasty indeed! Staff is very friendly and welcoming. There is nothing on the menu that isn't good. Do yourself a favor and git on dez flavors!!! The Beef Noodle soup is amazing, dumplings are so so juicy and my guilty pleasure is the honey walnut shrimp!

Yesterday, oct 16, was the first time i went to Golden Chicken Inn since I was young. I remember this place being the place our family would go for family dinner. It was always so delicious and consistent. Yesterday, that childhood memory of this place was ruined, and if I could give this place zero stars, I would. Upon arriving, the people were kind but immiatly there was a language barrier, which isn't a huge deal but it made it hard to communicate our order. We ordered the chow mein mix, orange chicken, and a bowl of eggdrop soup. What used to be classics for this place. We were given fried, thick wonton strips before our food came, to snack on. Something was off, they were soggy and undercooked. Not crispy at all, but we gave it the benefit of the doubt. That should have been our first red Flag. when our food arrived, they gave us no plates to eat on until we asked but they were soaking wet. Our chowmein looked odd... there was no color and flavor in the noodles, the beef was undercooked and the chicken didn't look like chicken. We were most excited for the orange chicken but it smelled bad. It smelled like it had been fermented or like the batter had been sitting out and had fermented and tasted rancid. I had to spit it out, I couldn't swallow it. Finally, when the egg drop soup was placed on our table, I was shocked at the apperance. It was a bright red in color, and it had vegetables in it? which I have never seen egg drop soup to appear that way. I felt extremely heartbroken at the food we were served. This was the first time my boyfriend had been there and I was so excited to share this childhood place of mine, with him. We were extremely disgusted, so I had to leave the food there and ask for the $30 check. I unfortunately will never be coming here again and will never recommend this place.

Forgot that they changed owners recently isn’t good how it was before fried rice looked more like white rice mixed with veggies sweet and spicy chicken looked more like boneless wings noodles were mid. Look like it’s time to find a new Chinese food place. The only good thing was the egg rolls.

Fresh nice food with authenticity

This place has some inexpensive food. The food is not the best and can be dry. I ordered their spicy shrimp with spicy chicken. Both were just okay but nothing special. Staff didn’t really speak English. They also do not accept credit cards, cash only. Portions are generous for what you pay. Staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Price Point ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cleanliness ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hunan Garden has been here for decades and is still one of my favorites. The flavors here are so wonderful, so explosive.. my food soul was so happy. Everything I ordered was fantastic.. You can't go wrong.. like always my brothers and sisters happy good eats and God bless..

This place is the classic Chinese restaurant experience, with exceptional food and great service. The orange chicken and pineapple shrimp are delicious and the house fried rice is a personal favorite. To top it off, this restaurant is family owned and operated and has been for almost 35 years. You've GOT to eat here if you get the chance!

The beef entrees are always pink or raw. It's such a waste of money because the flavors are good. Not everyone likes rare/medium steak or like it soft chewy. ughh. It would be much better if they actually cook the meat to health standards.

Could be better, I asked for white rice and bru gave me chow mein. I’m this close to slugging him 🤞. Food tasted like updog but that’s aight. They did have free samples for the new Panda Express drinks so that was cool.

10/10 every time with this place. I live all the way in Ventura, but I only go here for Chinese. My fiancée LOVES their chow mien and I’m a fan of everything else. The serving sizes are STACKED and it’s inflation friendly too.

This isn’t a sit-down food place from what I can tell. However, the food is SO DELICIOUS, they have my favorite glass noodles, teriyaki chicken, BBQ chicken, crab Rangoon, egg rolls… everything I’ve tried has been really good. They even have horchata that is really good too - and I normally don’t like that drink but it’s pretty awesome from here. If you want good Chinese food on a budget, this is a good option. It’s my “go-to” Chinese food restaurant inside Oxnard. Best bang for your buck for sure. ❤️ 🥡 🥢 🥠
