Cliff notes version: 4 stars for the selection for their happy hour; 3 stars for the overall food. Conflicted about this review. The food was affordable but varied greatly in flavor and quality; however, the servers were well attentive and the restaurant was clean. I thoroughly enjoyed the dim sum and the spring rolls. The dill dumplings, on the other hand, left something to be desired. The dumpling was dry and overcooked. And, the tam tam noodles were far too sweet -- tasted like you dumped peanut butter into noodles I'd probably come back overall, just avoid a few items.

Nice and clean restaurant but food is pretty mediocre in terms of taste and authenticity. HK Milktea 3.5/5 - not bad but nothing outstanding either. You can find something of similar quality in an Asian market juice box. Shrimp omelette rice with “tomato sauce” 3/5 - the shrimp omelette itself is quite alright in terms of flavor and texture but the advertised tomato sauce was basically ketchup which spells a basic lack of effort. The kitchen could have done a much better job on that tomato sauce mixing a little of ketchup with actual cooked and sliced tomatoes. Just putting ketchup underneath the omelette is plain lazy. Beef noodles 3/5 - the soup was good but the noodles and beef was pretty ordinary in terms of flavor and texture. String beans 1/5 - last dish to be served on our table and the most disappointing. Just by the looks of it from the photo, you can tell it is not appealing at all. No prep work done on cutting the rough edges of it and not much flavor on the dish. Try the same dish in Din Tai Fung and you can tell the difference. Overall, the restaurant has a nice ambience but the food was very mediocre. Definitely could be better if not for a lack of trying on the kitchen’s part.

Food was yummy. We went for an early lunch and sat right down. Service was prompt and professional. I had Thai greenbeans, such big portions, like a family dish, a great deal.

It was a really enjoyable experience! The food was all very good. Kind of pricey, but it’s a good location and they give you a lot of food so it evens out. I was pleasantly surprised with how many wontons were in my wonton soup. 6-7! The “vegetable egg roll” was delicious, but it was definitely a spring roll and you only get one. So I may not get that again. My husband got the sweet and sour chicken with chow mein. The wonton soup had a fish baste.

The food was really tasty! We had leftover sauce after finishing the noodles, and they let us order three more. The scallion pancakes were good as well as the veggie roles. The curry sauce was tasty, but I don’t think I’d pay the $2 upgrade charge to get it next time. I definitely want to come back to try the other flavors. Vegan options clearly marked, and I love how they can open the windows in the restaurant to give you the fresh outdoor air.

Tried this during our visit in Seattle. We tried the signature pork ribs version. The noodles were good and chewy, and the sauce was good. The beef felt overcooked so it's not tender to my liking. The ribs were tender and much better in comparison. We loved the honey chicken wings btw. Very addictive and I couldn't stop eating them! The noodles felt pricey but nonetheless it was a decent place.

Very close to Seattle Art Muesum. Not an authentic Chinese restaurant for Chinese but still very tasty. Highly recommend DanDan Noodle and spicy beef. Staffs are also friendly and welcoming.

Food was prepared very well. All the dishes served looked almost exactly as they did on the menu. Service was quick and the portion size was not too big and not too small. Price was also very fair.

If you’re craving Chinese takeout, this is the spot. I don’t like most places’ orange chicken but theirs is lightly breaded and crispy in a real orange sauce. Their fried rices (we’ve tried a few) are all great, so is their beef chow fun.

Ordered several items for guests I was having over. Everything was absolutely amazing. The chicken was super crispy on the outside (even with being marinated in sauce) and extremely juicy on the inside. The mapo tofu tasted like a homemade meal you would want to eat on a cozy day. Would highly recommend to anyone craving Chinese food :)

We were driving and decided we wanted Chinese food. We stopped after seeing decent reviews. The service was super friendly as soon as we arrived. I’m the only one in my party that was gluten free and she said they can make many dishes gluten free. She also offered rice noodles for any replacement in meals. We ordered and took about 13/15 minutes to grab out food and go. When we got home the food was still hot. We all agreed good size portions and the food was very good and flavorful. I’m glad we stopped tried something new and enjoyed the meal.

Very delicious food. It was very busy on the weekend so we did wait a bit longer but the appetizers were quick. Nice environment and lots of families and seniors come here.

Update: 5/1/25 back today ordered our regular beef chow fun my favorite, and the boiled beef with chili sauce still bubbling when it came out hubby loved the beef as well as the boiled fish version of this. Just good amount of spice. Must try if you eating there. We took home the boiled beef use the sauce to add tofu to make another meal for and it’s as good as eating in the restaurant. This is our go to place when we craving for Chinese comfort foods. Love the family that run this place. They treat you like close friend!! ❤️ We ate here twice already, both times the foods were fresh and tasty. Good Chinese comfort foods, we ordered the dry beef chow fun and a szychuen beef combo for lunch on our first visit, we finished both and loved them so much we came for dinner 2 days later we had spicy fish and Singapore noodle w shrimps both were great too. You can ask for less salt if you prefer, they are very flexible. Lot of returned customers came here so you know they are good and consistently making fresh & tasty foods. I don’t mind eat here everyday if I am near by. Very friendly family work here, give them a try if you re in the neighborhood, you will keep coming for more to try others because they cooked everything into perfection!!

Generous portions, fresh ingredients, very reasonable pricing and incredibly yummy! Combine that with the genuine kindness they show every time you walk in the door and you can't lose! Today we had the Kung Pao Beef, Almond Fried Chicken and BBQ pork fried rice. You can taste that the rice was made on a well seasoned grill, just like it should be! I am really picky about where I spend money if I'm eating out, but I am happy to spend it here. I cannot believe that there is never a mile long wait to get a table!

I've eaten here a number of times over the past year or so and they've been great every time. Their hot and sour soup is currently my favorite in the area and I will occasionally just buy two larges to guarantee I have more for later because I will devour the entire quart of it in 20 minutes. The salt and pepper fish is delicious and is one of my regular orders here. I've had a few other dishes from them during their lunch special hours and have not been disappointed.

We ordered from the lunch menu. I had Sweet and Sour chicken with fried rice and egg drop soup. She had Mongolian chicken with fried rice and hot and sour soup. The chicken is large pieces, very good, but hardly any sauce on either order. We both liked the fried rice. The fried shrimp was also good.

The indoor space looks way better than outside. It’s super cozy and nicely decorated. The food is really tasty. The service is awesome and friendly. Overall, it’s a great place to eat.

I pass by Royal Unicorn several times a week on my way to Richmond Beach. Every time, I say to myself, "I should check that place out." Well, last week was the time. I pulled in and wended my way through the parking lot to find plenty of spaces available. The possibility of finding good Chinese food got my mouth watering. Seeing Filipino dishes on the specials board got my inner foodie excited to try something new. A woman came out of the back right away, showed me to a table and handed me a menu. The lunch menu had all the usual Chinese favorites. I quickly zeroed in on one of my favorites - General Tso's chicken. It came with a choice of soup (I picked hot and sour), vegetable fried rice and lumpia. I added a pot of tea to my order. The tea and soup showed up right away. The tea was tea. Hot and tasty. The soup was fine, but not very hot and not very sour. I often give plain soup a shot of soy sauce to add a little flavor. That worked. The main plate arrived shortly after I finished my soup. I liked the look of the chicken. Each piece was a manageable size with a nice crispy coating. There was just the right amount of sauce - enough to get on every piece but not so much to cover the plate in goop. There was a bit of spice in the sauce, not as much as I like, but enough for most people. The fried rice was a treat. Full of flavor and there was plenty of it. The lumpia was a disappointment. My expectations were high because I love things stuffed into a fried wrapper. There was a satisfying crunch when I bit into it, but then the flavor hit me. It tasted of nothing but butter. I could see the ground meat inside, but there was no meatiness in there. I was properly full when I finished the plate and asked for the check. My mouth had all those Asian flavors in when I opened the fortune cookie packet and the familiar whiff of vanilla hit me. Memories of going out for Chinese food as a child flooded in. What a delight! My fortune said that "Flowers would brighten the day of your close friend tomorrow." I paid the $18 bill and looked on Google for a place to buy flowers.

This is your classic American-Chinese food! Everything was fresh and hot! I was greeted with a warm welcome, and I felt that the business owners truly appreciated my business. I ordered the cashew chicken and it was very tasty! It was a huge portion that lasted me all day. It is a one story business with no steps and lots of parking. My order took about 11 minutes. There are a lot of spaces to sit, but since I was in my lunch break I got mine to go. They put the rice in a separate container which made sure it didn’t get mushy. I will be visiting again soon.

My fiance and I enjoyed a delicious meal tonight. The young man who waited on us, was fast on his feet and very kind. We will be eating or getting take out from here regularly

I came here for a Filipino-style Lechon and was not disappointed! The lechon was crispy and even though I ordered just half of a pig, it was still more than enough for a party of 30 people. I had no problems with communication or picking up the order. The deposit for the lechon was cash-only, and for $10 extra, they will chop it for you. I would consider them again for any future events. Thank you!

They only accept cash but their food is amazing. Also, it was really cheap wich I loved!
