China Bowl Express & Young Hawaiian BBQ
Food is good but the prices advertised aren’t accurate. I ordered the mini bowl which is advertised as $9.19 and I ended up paying $13.85. When you factor in tax and the 50 cent charge for using card it doesn’t add up. I was also yelled at by the employee who took my order to sit down while I waited for my food. Probably won’t be back.
Great experience. Just driving by and found this place looking for protein! Ordered a chicken combo #6 ($14 tax incl) which was cooked there for me, something that I appreciate. Flavor wise very similar to Ono Hawaiian BBQ Franchises. I have to say that with these plates two people with a normal appetite eat easily. I just ate half of it whiteout eating the rice and the macaroni salad.
Happy Wok
Located on Hacienda Blvd & Glendora Ave in the Hacienda Plaza by CVS with plenty of parking. Growing up in LP, this was a favorite for our family when it came to Chinese food. We've been coming here since the 90's and still love it. Same great genuine service and yummy food. Portions are very generous and do not compare with any other place I've tried. My favorite entree here has been their BBQ Pork and Orange Chicken, but honestly, I've enjoyed all their entrees. They also have party trays available for events. It has always been a great experience at Happy Wok, and I will continue to enjoy my childhood favorite place when in town.
Take note CASH ONLY no credit card,No apple pay!The most delicious Chinese dish I ever have, for $10.19 they will give you 2 item combo with full box of food. Definitely I will continue buying food here.
Wok Express
They give large portions of food and the prices are good. The catch is that they're cash only but I'm OK with that if I'm going to save some money as well. I'm willing to deal with that inconvenience. The food itself is OK. I saw another review here that said that they got fl
We came from out of town wanted Chinese food and found this place! Food was delicious, generous potions! Would recommend this place.
Jumbo Chinese Food
Friendly staff. Good food. Large portions with reasonable prices. It's my go to though out of my area. 3 item.combo.with rice/noodles $11.59 3rd item is in a separate container since main box is too full. Our family favorites are chow mein, chow fun, orange chicken, bbq pork, egg foo Yung and work wonton soup... The soup is in a larger container than usual. Various drinks and boba available. Got 3 3 items combos work wonton soup extra rice noodles and rice and a lrg coke for $56. Fed 6 people with almost half leftover. They also have a special 3 lrg items and rice, noodles egg flower or hot & sour soup and 4.soda.cans $30.99. I recommend. They have a few tables but we always takeout.
Fantastic Take Out spot. Quality food. Great portions. Happy and friendly staff. Staff here really tends to the food to ensure it stays fresh. The vibe here is really positive. Staff is super helpful, and friendly. Portions are generous. Definitely will hit the spot when famished. Ordered 2 combos, and had enough left overs for another meal! Food is great! Flavorful and delicious. The food is take out fast food quality. However, it is great fast food quality. Really satisfied customer here, and will be returning.
Dragon 88 Chinese Food
Great food . Great price ✅‼️good service
Brand new chines food, serves a lot I ordered 3 item combo and it doesn’t fit to one container so they have 2nd container for my sweet and sour chicken, specially if you are hungry ,You will definitely get full and satisfied, accept credit card . If you are new to the place, it is located at the back and you have plenty of parking. If you don’t see the place just park in-front of shop wise and just walk around the back.
Panda Express
I go to this establishment because I believe they gave better service.first of all the girl that gave us service look like she hatted her job and didn’t make it welcome .Also the plate that they call it bigger plate we thought it would be heavy. She skip us on the chow mein and rice like if she pays for her self. All the food was cold and didn’t give us utensils. We had to stop at a gas station to ask for forks to be able to eat our cold food.I expected better service and food quality from this establishment.Today they have fail in the Panda Express name.
Came here to pick up an online order. I realized I made a mistake in ordering my food and got an entree on my plate that I didn’t want. They didn’t hesitate to give me the item I originally wanted, free of charge! Hopefully no one uses my honest mistake as a way to try and get any free food though 😅
Hong Kong Express
Too much blackened burnt on teriyaki chicken. The pic does not show burnt areas well but just too burnt for my tastes so cut them out from chicken areas. The clerk needs customer service skills!! Will go La mein, better tasting foods and the best orange chicken!
I'm so glad we found this place. Much cheaper and bigger portions vs. Panda Express ($$). The chow mein is fresh and not so greasy as most chow mein is (actually can taste the noodles) and the fried rice is not dry and hard but soft and fried. I really appreciate the atmosphere. Family working together and busy! They sound like their kitchen is busy. Their workers take a break from cooking and are hard working. I totally understand and am glad this mom and pop shop is around compared to the larger Asian foods franchises around. Thank you for the yummy food! Hot sauce is fresh too!
Young's Gourmet
This place is super clean! Not that feeling of greasy oil over coating the entire restaurant. The tables were very very clean! And hand sanitizer everywhere! We ordered MSG warning. I did not feel it then but about half hour after I started to get an MSG headache. I do have sensitivity—I should have asked but forgot bc many places I have eaten recently do not use. Chef special Walnut chicken. Superb 5/5 The batter coating was light. No oily greasy feeling or oil absorbed into batter. The honey mayo dressing was also perfect light Mongolian beef. My husband gave it 4, me 3 stars. Because it was not really Mongolian beef. The correct name would be black pepper beef. It did not taste like Mongolian beef Kung pao chicken 3 stars was not as good. It was passable. The chicken seemed like it was lightly coated in cornstarch then fried. But it was fried a bit too long bc chi he was very dry. Also the sauce was not great. Tasted also a bit in the burnt side. I like smoky but burnt not great. See pic. I like tre chicken more lightly cooked so it’s still a bit soft and juicy. Sauce also too burnt Plain white Rice was horrible 1star. Edible inky bc we ate it with the good. Covered the bad low quality
Great food. Dinner combos are a good deal with appetizers, soup, rice, a lot of main item choices, and plenty left over for lunch the next day. We had sweet and sour pork and orange chicken
Sands Chinese Restaurant 金沙中餐館
This place is too good! Been here three times now and yet to have a dish that disappoints. Nothing is oily, nothing is bland. Then only problem I’ve had is leaving here bloated from pigging out. 10/10 recommend!
Authentic cantonese style cuisine. Every dish we ordered was delicious. Great atmosphere and service. Will definitely be back. Thanks for the high quality food.
Tasty Delight
I recently dined at Tasty Delight and had a fantastic experience! The service was exceptional from start to finish; the staff was friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure we had everything we needed. The salt and pepper chicken was perfectly cooked, with a delightful blend of spices that delivered just the right amount of heat from the jalapeño. The crispy exterior paired beautifully with the tender meat inside. The portion sizes were generous, making it a great value for the price. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal. Overall, I highly recommend Tasty Delight and their Salt and Pepper Chicken!!!!!!
We always go here right after getting a haircut nextdoor. Sometimes we just go just because. It's so underrated and I wish more people knew about it because it has one of the best Chinese foods I've ever had (even better than panda express). Their boba is great and one of my favorites as well as their egg drop soup, orange chicken, chow mein, and especially their popcorn chicken which is a personal favorite. Overall, y'all should just come here and check the place out.
Taipei OG Noodle Shop
Small bowl with little beef shank. I used to go to some authentic Taiwan restaurants for this famous Beef shank noodle soup, so I know exactly what it suppose to look like and taste like. Plus, I like to try new restaurants and flavors in this newly opened food court in West Covina, so I ordered a beef shank noodle soup. I was very disappointed! The bowl was not a normal and traditional Chinese noodle soup bowl. It looks like a flower vase rather than a noodle soup bowl. By doing this, customers will get much less amount of food than they are paying for. Plus, the half raw vegetables are taking the most space on the top of the bowl. The reason is that, there are only two small pieces of beef shank on the top of the bowl. The container has a very narrow bottom area, so you are not going to get a lot of noodles and soup down there. The worst thing is that the soup was super greasy and salty, so I consider that it is very unhealthy for anybody to take so much fat and sodium at this restaurant. The price is not cheap for such an unhealthy noodle soup: it will cost you 17 dollars. Well, lessons learned, next time, I certainly will not come back to this restaurant again.
I'm Taiwanese and the ultimate beef noodle soup was delicious and hit the spot. Beef was tender, soup was balanced, and the noodles were different than the flat white ones but very chewy and fresh, I think they make it there daily. Pickled cucumbers and cabbage were also crispy and not too sweet or sour. I like the modern take on the beef noodle soup, and washing it down with a sarsaparilla soda was perfect. Owner was also super nice, recommended the chilli crisps which added a nice kick to the soup too. Definitely coming back
陕西大唐食府Shaanxidatang
It's salty to death, The eggplant is burnt. It's all oil,and the fish stinks! Disappointed,I really can't eat it
Have to disagree with most of the reviews here. Thought the whole grilled fish was their specialty. Came and ordered just that. Fish wasn't even fresh. They admit it was frozen. It was half submerged in sauce that tasted pretty sad. No red chili's, sesame seeds and didn't look like the picture at all. Was the worst tasting grilled fish I've had. Spoke to owner who said the fish was in fact not their specialty. Ordered a Shaanxi noodle dish instead which is supposed to be their specialty. It was greasy and din'y taste good.
