Pretty amazing section style cuisine! The spicy beef noodle soup , Dan Dan noodles, scallion pancakes, and Xiaongnbao were among the very best we've ever had. Okay prices and plenty of parking. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed.

Ordered beef rolls Shanghai style, Shanghai style pan fried noodle, and Steamed Shanghai style dumplings. The beef rolls were a cold style serving, 6 rolls of pretty good size. Beef to roll ratio was good, cilantro was not overpowering, and the hoisin sauce was a good amount (not overdone). If you prefer it served cold, these are great. The noodles were plentiful and the flavor permeated the semi-thick noodles quite well. The dumplings were fine, definitely enough to hit the spot or craving but not the top pick of the meal. Not too busy for a Sunday mid-afternoon, service was fast and easy.

Our regular stop for good Hang-zhau Chinese food. Their weekday lunch specials are a great deal. However, keep in mind it’s regular price on US and Chinese holidays (if it lands on weekdays). There are so many good dishes that we rotate through on our visits. It’s a good place to eat dine out for two or even better for larger parties, where you can sample a larger variety eating family style.

Located inside a plaza with plenty of free self parking. The restaurant is clean and tidy. Service is probably one of the best in the San Gabriel valley. Our group was seated inthe private room in the back. It was a bit cold with AC blowing. We asked them to turn it down and they did promptly. The waiter and staff were very attentive. They made recommendations and took our order. The food came out quickly. It was hot and fresh. Some of the dishes were excellent, like the fish and chicken. Others were mediocre, in my opinion. Prices are very reasonable. I can't emphasize enough how great the staff is. Very polite and friendly. Would consider returning and trying other items on their menu.

Another of our family’s go to lunch choices. Their combo lunch includes a main dish, one side, egg and a drink. Great combo! I tend to push myself to finish my order buts it’s a lot of food. My favorite is the yellow beef brisket combo while my kids like their boneless chicken combo. Great place, must visit. Also, they have new menus and with a number of new dishes to try.

There was no wait when I came for a late lunch around 2 pm. Ordered the boneless braised chicken (11.99), braised lamb shoulder (16.99), braised meat balls (15.99), and braised mixed vegetables (11.99). The food was served pretty quickly, in less than 10 minutes. Their dishes can be ordered as combos or individually but I opted for the individual portion. The portion size is reasonable for one person to finish themselves and the price is alright too. They all came with white rice even though it wasn't a combo. As for the taste, they were all pretty falvorful but a bit on the salty side. However, the tofu dish wasn't the same as the photo since it was not the same egg tofu but a different kind. A decent place to eat a meal.

Food is fresh, still have a lot of MSG and not as good as Vancouver BC. In general it's better than most other cantonese establishments in LA Metropolitan .

Dim sum off a check list. Get the sampler, decent deal. Also the cheong fun with shrimp is really excellent. Fresh, steamy and chewy. Prices are par for the course but the portion for the steam rice rolls I thought was generous and the sampler platter was also good

"A Nostalgic Return to Arcadia's Chinese Fast-Casual Gem" Phoenix Food Boutique has long been the go-to spot for quick, quality Chinese cuisine in Arcadia. Returning after years away, I was eager to see if this childhood favorite still lived up to my memories. "Fast food Chinese with a gourmet twist" perfectly captures the essence of Phoenix Food Boutique. It's not your average takeout joint - the menu boasts an impressive array of small bites, classic dishes, and amazing desserts that elevate it above typical fast-casual fare. Signature dishes like the Hainan chicken have stood the test of time, consistently delivering flavor and comfort. The lettuce cups, a longtime favorite, didn't disappoint with their tasty filling, though they could benefit from a more interesting sauce than plain hoisin. The steamed fish with green onions showcases the kitchen's ability to handle delicate proteins, even if the overly sweet soy sauce missed the mark for my palate. However, the true star of the meal was the pig ear appetizer with tendons - a textural delight with the perfect balance of spice, crunch from peanuts, and freshness from green onions. The atmosphere on a quiet Monday lunch provided a peaceful backdrop for a father-son catch-up. Service was attentive, quickly resolving any oversights like forgotten sauces. Value-wise, prices have increased over the years, but generous portions and quality ingredients justify the cost. It remains a more affordable option compared to other local eateries. One area for improvement is their beverage selection. While diverse, many options like the lemongrass ginger tea are too sugar-heavy. Health-conscious diners might struggle to find a balanced choice, as even the 21 herbs tea swings to the opposite extreme of bitterness. "It's comforting to see this place still exists and maintains its quality," my dad remarked, echoing the sentiments of many loyal customers who've watched Phoenix Food Boutique evolve over the years. For those seeking a quick Chinese food fix in Arcadia, Phoenix Food Boutique offers a reliable blend of nostalgia and culinary craftsmanship. Just be prepared to navigate the menu carefully if you're watching your sugar intake. For a satisfying meal that bridges the gap between fast food and gourmet Chinese cuisine, this local institution is well worth a visit.

I usually come here for the dessert goods and drinks. They sell lunch/dinner items and always see people eating here. I love the mixed fruit drink! My kids love their cookies and egg custards. The service is always fast

Very good. Small restaurant in a big plaza. The food is really good, all are large portions too. Their fried fish plate is really popular and love the Mongolian beef, cooked to very soft and tender. The service is very fast and the staff are all very friendly. Would definitely come back again.

Unfortunately, I had a BAD experience with the service here. I didn’t realize I had no card or cash with me, so I asked if I could pay with Apple Pay. The staff member simply walked past me and said “NO” without offering any help or alternatives. I mentioned I had other payment options like Zelle, but the manager treated me like I was trying to avoid paying, which was both awful and embarrassing. The food itself was good, but service like this really changes the whole experience. I won’t be coming back because of how I was treated. If you decide to give this place a try, make sure you bring a physical card or cash—they don’t accept NFC payments like Apple Pay.

We went in there for the first time today, and the nicest ladies run this restaurant. They piled the food so high in the two to-go boxes, I think we may have enough food for 2-3 meals. Great deal, but more importantly, support your local business, especially when it’s run by such sweet ladies. Also, the spicy orange chicken, spare ribs and popcorn chicken are top notch! Thank you ladies :)

The nicest ladies operate this place. The food is great, the portions are awesome. She let us try some of the foods and even gave us a sample of her favorites options to take home and try. 10/10 coming back

What an amazing dining experience! The service here was fantastic—our server was friendly, attentive, and made excellent suggestions. The food was divine, especially the dumplings, which were plump and flavorful. The Szechuan chicken had the right amount of spice without being overwhelming. The ambiance was just right—elegant yet cozy, with a mix of traditional Chinese elements and modern touches. I loved the soothing music and the soft lighting. This is definitely my go-to place for great Chinese food!

I was blown away by the experience here. The service was warm and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect. The food was amazing; we tried a variety of dishes, and every one of them was packed with flavor. The sushi rolls were so fresh, and the stir-fry was perfectly balanced. The ambiance was beautifully modern, with comfortable seating and low lighting. It’s the ideal spot for a relaxed yet special night out!

One of the best beef chow funs I've had. Well seasoned, not too salty not too bland, perfect flavoring. Beef is very tender and soft. The noodles are cooked to precise. Big big portions! Well priced. Lovely ambiance. Very modern aesthetics inside. Wide selection of drinks as well. Service was great. If I'm ever in the address again, definitely coming back!!

Walked in here because the restaurant looked super clean and the menu was small, so I said how bad could the food be🤷‍♂️. SO BOMB!! I ordered the beef chow fun and I’m definitely getting lunch here again! The noodles weren’t so greasy or over spiced like other spots. The flavor was spot on

At the time of this writing, this restaurant is now fully open in Baldwin Park!! (Second week of opening). I was informed that they are currently trying to get Google to update the address etc. New address is 1628 Puente Ave, Baldwin Park. Next to Orchid Thai restaurant. They are open until 9 pm everyday as of this writing. The food is just as good as I remembered it from the original location. Ordered the pork wonton soup, pork dumplings, and their signature juicy pork & crab bun. Very filling, flavorful, and packed full of meat! Prices are reasonable for what you get. The interior was also very clean, and the staff was friendly as well. It is truly an oasis of real asian food in Baldwin Park, and just as tasty or even better than what you can find at Haven City Market. Highly recommended to visit for lunch/dinner.

I love that they had fish dumplings (both soup and pan fried). The pan fried dumplings are a must. Skin is so crispy on the bottom. The steamed soup dumplings are so fragrant and contain a huge chunk of fish. Loved the taste of everything.

Ordered DanDan Noodle and Fried Rice for two. Asked two small extra bowls and was served with a kind smile. Flavors were authentic but a bit too salty for me. Enjoyable!

Great little Chinese restaurant. I know there are a lot to choose from in the area, but they specialize in Szechuan cuisine and duck. The sliced beef with chili sauce was exactly what I wanted. The fried rice was excellent. I definitely want to try and visit again to try their noodles. The jellyfish and cabbage was really tasty as well.
