Chan's Place - Woodinville
Visited for lunch recently, and there was no wait. Service was good and prompt. They have a lunch special section of the menu with all the go-to’s, that inside a side soup. Food was tasty, not greasy. The Lunch size portion was more than enough for me.
Visited this place to fulfill our craving for Chinese food and in particular, a set menu chinese Sunday lunch. This place did not disappoint. Plenty of parking outside the restaurant. Food was really good. We did try the set menu and overall for the food, I would rate it a 4.3/5. Pork cuts a little overcooked but nevertheless good. I enjoyed the soup and the shrimp was divine! The atmosphere was wonderful. It's a very beautiful, clean and elegant restaurant. Service was absolutely great, no problems at all! Definitely would come back here.
Manna Teriyaki
Food was good don't get me wrong, but it would've been a lot better if I'd been given the Mandarin chicken I ordered instead of Mongolian chicken. It was still good, but I'm still craving what I actually wanted. Edit: also the $2 price difference of not getting what I ordered is kinda getting under my skin. I didn't pay extra for no reason.
It's okay... But not the same, I was sad to discover that the restaurant was under new ownership today, but had decided to keep the same name, I ordered the same as usual, my spicy chicken teriyaki in hopes it would still be the same but it was not at all, the price is $15.99, which is $3.00 more than the old cost, and the portion size is noticeably smaller. I think at least giving the courtesy of putting an under new ownership sign would be due, especially because all of the reviews on here are for the previous owners and their menu, not the new ones, so it would be giving people a false narrative and expectations for the restaurant.
Ming Garden
Customer service really wasn’t what the problem was it was the quality of the food. I got the Mongolian beef and it tasted bland, texture was chewy/almost soggy like. Honestly tastes like a frozen meal reheated… I also got the shrimp Fried rice and it was fine nothing I would crave to come back for but it was better than the Mongolian beef.
Typical Chinese joint serving typical Chinese dishes. Nothing extraordinary or distinguishing about the food but sometimes that's all you want: good food without the frills or gimmicks. Host was nice and the place was clean, bright and open. 2 lunch specials (Mongolian beef and shrimp) + green onions pancake came out to $40 with tax/tips.
King Noodle
I love this place. Such a reasonable price for such a huge bowl of noodle soup. I love the egg noddles but if you like hand pulled they do it there on the spot and they’re tender and chewy. Service is fast and again can’t beat the prices. I haven’t eaten a lot of other things cuz I love the noodle soup so much but what I have tried I liked. All except the egg drop soup. That had too much corn starch and was pretty slimy and plain. But everything else is flavorful and fresh. Highly recommend.
I've been going here for years. This recent trip is the last. I got the "braised" beef and duck noodle soup. The beef was dry and gross. I couldn't even bite a piece because it was so tough. The duck was all skin and bone, no meat. The service was poor as well. I know prices are rising, but brisket is pretty hard to mess up.
Town Story
Don't waste your hard earned money. The absolute worst food. Not sure why but the soup smelled like toilet water ZERO STARS
I was today years old to find out it's takeout only. And also My new favorite Asian food take out!!! Definitely coming back!
Wu Li Xiang
I have tried several kinds of food in Wulixiang and all of them tasted very good. I Like pork zongzi, shaomai, huntun and other kind of traditional Chinese delicious food. Highly recommend and you should try them.
The best bun in town!! My daughter asks for it for lunch everyday? Their wanton is good too, very tasteful and convenient for a quick meal! Highly recommended.
Dough Zone Dumpling House Kirkland
Good food at a very decent price. The dumplings and noodles are well-made, and the location is convenient. It’s a great spot for a casual meal. Customer service would've been better overall.
Very welcoming server. She was helpful and generous with her time. I joined the DZ Dumpling Club. The steamed vegetable dumplings are delicious. I dined in but ordered food to take home!
Dumpling The Noodle Kirkland
I enjoyed the meal in a clean and organized environment. The broth is spicy and can be adjusted upon request. Between the soup noodles and semi-wet noodles, I liked the semi-wet noodles more in flavor and texture. Beef in each noodles are good quality. I will revisit and try other dishes. Lot and street parking are available.
Great place for lunch. We had shrimp fried rice, pork chives dumpling and garlic green beans. Amazing food and dumplings. Definitely will come back again.
Fan Tang Asian Cafe
They make pretty good Hunan cuisine noodles. Good portion, the amount of meat was very generous. Our favourite was the pork strip noodles. I didn't end up taking a photo, that one is not spicy. There's a serve station for cutlery and vinegar etc, very convenient. We all got full from the amount of the food we ordered. Recommend!
It’s an almost self serving restaurant that you sign in at a terminal to order and pay. You also serve your own utensils and extra sharing bowls and plates at the station. It’s making sense to collect tips because the servers will bring your order and clean after you are done. The ambiance is pleasant and elegantly designed and very spacious. Only complaint is you have no option to control how spicy your food would be.
Tian Tian Noodles
I searched for Vietnamese food and this spot came up but they are Chinese. It’s a small, very casual family restaurant. The staff were friendly and accommodating to our group of 6. The food was delicious, the hand pulled noodles are thicker noodles reminiscent of udon noodles. We took leftovers home and they taste even better the next day after soaking up all the flavors of the sauces. The dumplings were quite plain but everything else was quite delicious.
I visited this place because I wanted Chinese food. The atmosphere of the place is not very nice, you arrive and wait to be assigned a table, in the restaurant there is only one waitress and although there were few tables occupied, the girl did not come to my table because she was busy doing other things, when I called her attention she took the order, I was surprised that she did not take notes and memorized everything. The order took 25 minutes to arrive at the table, I ordered the Curry beef noodle soup, it tasted good although quite spicy, and also the Lanzhou beef lamian, this soup was very simple and was only the noodles without vegetables, with some pieces of pork. I also ordered some Lambs with Chinese parsley dumplings and they were good in flavor. In general the place is good, although for my budget it was a bit expensive since for two people we ate for $60.
Dough Zone Dumpling House
Atmosphere is clean and bright. The service is nice because it is table based. However, they hassle you to pay unnecessarily. I ordered pan fried beef 3.5/5 and pork and shrimp 3/5 dumplings. They were served very unattractively upside down. Best thing on the plate is the pickled cabbage 4.5/5.
Really bad service at this location. We love Dough Zone, and it's our closest location, but we'll never come back. The management should look into the shift that worked 5-6 pm on May 2 as they do no care about customers and demand tips. When we came, there were 2-3 tables, including ours, and 4 wait staff. They NEVER looked at our table, never cleaned the plates (our table was covered in plates, zero space), they ignored waving, questions, ask to bring boxes to go, I had to go chase them to ask something, and we were one of the closest table where they were. They were the most inattentive wait staff I've seen in my life (I worked as a waitress in my youth, I can't imagine such ignore of the customers). We agreed with my partner that we won't leave tips. The bill was ~$48 and I paid with gift card of $50. The waiter who has been ignoring us or talking to us with sour face came with a pay terminal, used gift card and then said: "will you pay tips with debit or credit card?". Like this! I didn't understand, she said that tips can't be paid by gift card, so did I want to pay tips with credit or debit. I said that actually, we didn't plan to leave tips, because the service was horrible. Do you think she asked why? Apologized? She kept staying with paying machine asking me what card I'll pay tips with. I said I can maximum give 10%. She promptly inserted $0.01 on terminal, moved to tips page, gave to me and rushed away. I added $4 and still feel nauseous for doing this. Why did I give money to the abuser of a server? Servers in WA are paid at least minimum rate, same as cashiers, nannies at daycare etc. 20% tips are from the past (or some other states now) where wait stuff was paid $3-4 per hour and depended on tips. And even then, 20% are never mandatory, but for good service. The wait stuff that ignored us all evening and talked to us with sour faces, should not have an expectation of getting tips. Our Friday evening was ruined.
Beijing Garden
Kinda disappointed in food overall. Honey walnut shrimp was a strange orange color and tasted like generic sweet sauce. Food was bit salty/greasy and MSG heavy. Texture on deep fried food was good. Would chalk it up to a step above chinese mall food. Not sure if I would come back as looking for more quality.
Food was typical Chinese take out style. Everything was fresh, hot, and not soggy. Would. Prices are in the higher end. Nice staff but slow service.
