Ming Palace
Jason and his wait staff are excellent. They were friendly and welcoming. They were able to give us suggestions without being pushy. They Love to talk so they can get to know you. it was a pleasant evening. My wife and I ordered several items totaling the total of about $68 the food was delicious. we have plenty of food to take home. We will be back again.
The staff here is amazing! So very friendly and welcoming that even IF the food wasn't what we expected, we'd come back just because of the staff. Fortunately, the food was delicious!! We ordered take out. When we arrived home about 15 minutes later, the food was still piping hot. While we waited for our food, we were given jasmine tea which was very delicious and warmed us up. It was a very nice gesture that won us over. Well, so did the food. The beef broccoli tasted very fresh, that broccoli was very green and still had a bit of fresh crunch. The spring rolls were my favorite side item. Pop stickers were very, very delicious as well!! I will say, the area isn't the greatest, but that is not something that the restaurant can really change. It didn't really bother me since I was there to grab food and not there for the outside neighborhood. Give this place a try.
Tea Leaf 2
Absolutely worst Chinese food I've ever had!!!!! freezer burnt shrimp obviously thawed and Frozen multiple times and was stinky like fish. Rice was at least 3 days old, I've had better out of my refrigerator after a week. Egg rolls were hard as a rock, crab Rangoon are fishy and old. Ive had better at midnight from a gas station. All the orders of rice were packed into on box. The chow mein looks like dried spaghetti. I really hope we don't get sick.!!! I will never eat here again and I suggest no one else spend $100 hard earned money here. If I could give zero I would, honestly looks like last week's Safeway Chinese
This is literally the best Chinese food your family will ever have!! We have been coming here for over 25 years. Still the same owners, the same quality and great prices for the portion. I recommend the special beef and any of the appetizers! If you try it once it will most definitely become a regular spot for you.
Harbor City Tacoma Restaurant
Everything was perfect. The food being delicious is one thing, but they also add tons upon tons more amount of food on your plate. You would think the food would be expensive with the quality and quantity of the dish, though it’s super duper cheap for how it is. $100 worth of food was enough to feed me and my family for dinner, tomorrow’s lunch, tomorrow’s dinner, and maybe the next next day’s lunch again. It’s incredible of the amount they give you. It’s such a steal. Customer service was amazing too. They’re super nice, helpful, and even funny lol. The atmosphere just felt as if everyone is enjoying their meal and it’s such a positive feeling being inside the restaurant. Please, give this restaurant a try, and enjoy !!
Great dimsum. No carts just order from menu. Old converted Mexican restaurant, medium small space. One big round table probably to seat 7. About 8 or 9 4-chair square tables. Love their dimsum, got the pork, fish and tofu pot good too. Salt pepper squid tasty.
Main Chinese Buffet
The Main Buffet is pretty good. I definitely didn't experience anything majorly negative here at all. Don't listen to the two negative relatives on here. Service was pleasant, and we got sat quickly in New Years Eve afternoon. The good want is especially hot, but most I had was really good. I like their sushi because they were small rolls where you can enjoy a variety. The stuffed clams were really good. Overall, a good variety of food is offered with a large array of fruit and desserts. They even have a chocolate fountain. The coast is much less than other Chinese buffets in the area. Bathrooms were clean with several stalls, including a nice handicap stall. Overall, it's a solid 4 star. I would return again.
20/10 "The servers here actually like their jobs." My friend Plenty of eel at the sushi bar. I was so satisfied I had to take a moment to digest after my second plate. Great atmosphere, very clean and family friendly environment that left such a peaceful feeling, I know it will last in memories for time to come.
Emperor's Palace Lacey
It had been some time since we had eaten here so we decided to stop and have dinner on our way home from errands. The first thing I noticed was the dining area was much more open than before and the floor was not overcrowded with tables, making it feel much more welcoming inside. We were greeted and seated almost immediately by the hostess. Our server came to the table with menus right away with menus and to ask if we cared for any beverages. The menu had changed radically since we were last there. Everything had been condensed to one large page. There were only two choices for a family dinner, starting with soup. We chose the $70 meal for two as it came with won ton soup and the appetizer platter. The other family dinner offered the soup of the day and no appetizer platter. The soup arrived first. Each had two large chicken won tons as opposed to the typical small ones I have typically seen in most Asian restaurants. They were well made and not soggy. The downside of the soup was lukewarm and too salty. I did not see our server until the appetizer platter arrived so we were unable to say something right away. I began to hope I had not made a bad dinner choice. Our appetizer platter arrived and it was loaded. Everything was hot and well made. There were 6 large shrimp in a light crispy coating, 2 delicate spring rolls, 4 large crab Rangoons and 6 barbecue pork along with a large bowl of sweet and sour sauce, and another bowl with the hot mustard, ketchup and sesame seeds. The appetizer was a meal all by itself. Then our dinner arrived. Sweet and sour pork, special fried rice, almond chicken, broccoli beef and cashew chicken. The serving plates were loaded. Everything was delicious, delicately made and hot. Our dinner did not disappoint! We were stuffed and still had plenty to take home. The soup was a bump in the road. I highly recommend this meal. We will definitely be back. The first picture is our meal minus the appetizer platter. The second picture is what we brought home.
I love Chinese food, and I had high expectations for this restaurant based on its review. I was completely disappointed. Overall, I found the food lacking any inspiration. Sweet and sour was oversized chunks of tough meat with way too much breading. The Chow Mein looked more like Lo Mein....but with no noodles, just bean sprouts. Honestly, I don't know what it was. The beef dishes were heavy on onion and lacking much meat. The fried rice was overcooked and mushy. It was $100 for dinner and we didn't keep the leftovers. My search for good Chinese food continues.
Dough Zone Dumpling House
We are visiting from out of town wish we had a place like this in the suburbs of Chicago! Super clean and bright. Service was very attentive. We enjoyed all the food. The noodles were yummy. Good amount of spice with the sauce. The scallion pancakes were crisp and made fresh. They actually took the longest to come out, but they were worth the wait. Soup dumplings were yummy. Thin skin with good amount of soup in each. I couldn’t really tell the difference between the pork and chicken. The pork wontons were also yummy with the chili oil. Again, nice tingly spice on my tongue, but not over whelming. I thought the cucumbers were a good crunch with all the steamy food we got.
When you need your dim sum fix, this is a pretty good spot. Pan fried pork bun (four mini bao per platter), pork and/or chicken soup dumplings and won ton with chili sauce are definitely MUST ORDER items on your visit. Sweet n sour cucumber is a delightful starter, but I’d SKIP the steamed broccoli as the accompanying seafood sauce neither matches the dish, nor is it appealing. Ordered the cold noodle (ooh that sauce!) and DanDan noodles (yum, that addictive chili numbing “burn”) where both were springy and chewy and enjoyable. Curious if ALL their noodle dishes are as flavorful? All in all a pleasant dining experience however I can’t help wondering if these small plates are really worth the hype - or price?
Engimono Ramen & Dim Sum
I loved the restaurant. It’s bigger than what I expected. The food was amazing and I like the way they have tiny meals for lower prices. This way one can taste the food more easily without thinking much. I’ll go here again!!!
Great dim sum and this is from my wife who grew up eating dim sum. We also had beef ball, congee, stuffed eggplant with shrimp (ono!) The staff was great and the atmosphere was inviting and comfortable. Access restaurant from the upper parking area.
Mae Mee Fresh Food and Bakery
Update 12/30/24: I came with my partner for some much needed moon cakes and hombao for my birthday tomorrow, and thankfully there were some!!! I love coming here and hope you try all kinds of their baked or cooked goods! Original review: My mother brought me some of their BBQ pork hombaos and WOWWW. So so so good. :)
When asking if they’re open, they responded with “what do you want” After ordering the food, we received something that’s i don’t even know how to describe. Panda Express teriyaki is better than whatever they serve you here. There’s no chicken, there’s just fan and worm looking bs that doesn’t even look like food.
Midori Teriyaki Wok
I like Midori Teriyaki Wok for their chicken teriyaki and the chicken and beef combo. However, lately price has been increased and the serving portion has also been reduced. For a small box of chicken teriyaki, it's about $14.00. On top of that, I got a piece of hair in my food. I understand it's family-owned, at least wear a cap or something if not wearing the hair net. In addition, my order took about 15 minutes today. A couple of guys came in way after I ordered my food they got their food served on the table right away. They were eating their food when mine got ready.
I can't say enough good things about Midori Teriyaki Wok! From the moment I walked in, the staff greeted me with warmth and hospitality. Their friendly demeanor instantly made me feel welcome. And let's talk about the food – it's absolutely amazing! Every dish is bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Whether it's their mouthwatering teriyaki chicken or their delectable sushi rolls, each bite is a culinary delight. I highly recommend Midori Teriyaki Wok to anyone craving delicious Asian cuisine served with a smile.
Nine Way
I had Noodle Soup w.Pickled Mustard Green & Shredded. It was so good. I love this restaurant. Very warm welcoming atmosphere. Easy ordering just scam the QR code, place the order and pay. The waiter will brings your food to your table .
Best won ton soup I’ve had in years - dumplings delicious and clear broth hit the spot on this chilly day. Hubby ordered handmade won ton in chili oil and finished every bit of it. Nine way noodles were springy and special - hubby chose beef instead of ground pork, which I think wasn’t the best idea as the pork would have been perfect. Heartwarming buckwheat tea finished the meal. Not too full during lunch but I’m sure it’s a well-visited place. The server was friendly and welcoming and really stood out, making you almost feel like you’re dining in a friend’s home instead of a restaurant. Great, solid lunch. Do not come here unless you LOVE spice
Sunny Teriyaki
The food is usually really good. And they give big portions. It seemed to be to Salty. I ended up throwing my food away. I did eat a little bit. Maybe ask for no msg
Sunny Teriyaki has been our favorite for 5+ years, but recently the quality of the food has slipped. I love their honey garlic chicken, but the order I had delivered by Uber Eats last week, well, it simply wasn't that great. The chicken was overcooked, hard and chewy. To say the least I was disappointed. Delivery is always fast, which is appreciated, but I'd rather wait a little longer and get better quality food.
May May Hong Kong BBQ
I’ve been searching for roast duck & roast pork that isn’t all the way in Seattle. We went an hour before closing and they ran out of roast pork but we got the roast duck and it satisfied my craving! We also got chow mein, sweet&sour chicken, honey walnut prawns & honey garlic pork. I would say the roast duck was the star of the show. I’m a big fan of honey walnut prawns and they were okay, small portion. Everything else was decent. I will be going back to try the roast pork.
We came in after lunch, so the place was pretty quiet. The server was polite, very nice, and got our orders right away. They were out of the BBQ pork at that point, but had some cooking, so we did have thst before we were done. I had the Gen Tso's Chicken which was really good - big well fried pieces of breaded chicken in a nice sauce (note: I requested 5/5 heat, but they made it pretty mild). Other dishes were the Salt and Pepper Fried Chicken and the Mongolian Beef which were delicious, and the Beef Sate Hot Pot with Glass Noodles, which was a showstopper! Milk teas with raspberry jelly for the Millenials and beer for the old folks, everyone came away happy! Worth driving a bit. Will be back!
