My long time favourite Taiwan restaurant changed to a new Chinese restaurant, which is of good quality . Under new management by young couple from Shandong, they are polite and always wear smile. Their mapo tofu is definitely "rice theif", spicy but not burning, my daughter doesn't eat carbs during dinner, but we keep ordering white rice for it. Their string beans are fresh n sweet, they use a bit chillies and vinegar to enhance the favour. Other dishes are good enough to attract customers back. We love the dessert a lot, lightly sweetened with brown sugar source. All the dumplings are handmade by the chef, Iooking forward to come and try next time. P.S. we finally tried their Xiao Long Bao, and they are good too, springy warpping that can hold the meat juice. Latest update: 8th Dec 2024 I stopped by a few times, but seems they closed for almost 3 weeks recently. Today I stopped by again, finally meet a staff moving things out. He told me they are going to start up a new one @ east green lake way soon, after settling that one, they will reopen this old location. I just added their new info. below.

Came upon this place after a failed visit to Seattle Soup Dumpling(closed). Google search showed Dan’s kitchen within walking distance with Soup Dumplings on the menu. We had pork soup dumplings, wonton soup, hot&sour soup and veg rolls which were all amazing. I’d spend the past month filling up on soup dumplings and this definitely topped the list. $13 for 10 hearty dumplings. Will be back on my next visit to town.

So good,yall... Everything we had was just amazing! I would have liked for my server to have given me the right boxes for my leftovers, He gave me plastic one for pastry's, My food leaked, and the juices got all over. Overall I highly recommend 👌.

A great neighborhood sleeper. We decided to go for a feast at our first visit & ordered a bunch to sample. Fast, fresh, & cheap - all that dim sum is about. Surprised to see shrimp toast on the menu!

A small mom and pop Chinese noodle place. The noodle broth was very good. It’s perfectly spicy with a little of that classic numbing spice. I love how much protein they give. Definitely worth the price for the amount we get. The friend calamari is amazing too. Freshly fried, a good appetizer. If you’ve ever had mikes noodle house, this is on par with the dish and slightly cheaper with easier parking. I’d pick this over mikes any day

A wonderful surprise, first time eating but won’t be the last. The broth was flavorful brisket wasn’t dry at all compared to many other places. Complementary tea and fantastic service. They were also able to accommodate a pork allergy :) Thanks for the meal!

Delicious Chinese food in a Seattle landmark! This beautiful venue has sweeping views of Lake Union. Good prices, plenty of parking and easy walking access. New ownership is very friendly and are experienced restauranteurs. You have every reason to come here and feast!

Wonderful experience! Delicious food! We went here for my husband's birthday dinner. So yummy 😋. We had the almond fried chicken, broccoli beef, pot stickers, and shrimp with honey walnuts. The potsticker wrappers were light, not too doughy, and just the right balance of tender and crispy! The view is the best part though. Gorgeous views of Lake Union! And they have an event hall upstairs with amazing views too. Wish I had an excuse to rent it! Excellent service and prices are surprisingly reasonable (especially for Seattle). The only negative I can find is that there is a bit of shabbiness to the building -- but it sure didn't decrease my enjoyment of the evening. Hope to be back soon! FYI, there are cute areas to explore near the building, like various marinas and an ice cream shop.

I discovered this hidden gem, and it exceeded my expectations! The customer service was spectacular, and the staff made me feel right at home. The food came out quickly and was bursting with flavor—everything tasted wonderful. When I asked for a remake of my drink, they happily obliged without any complaints. If you're looking for fantastic food and outstanding service, this place is a must-visit! I can't wait to go back!

My wife and I passed by this restaurant one night while out on a walk exploring Seattle. Afterwords I was craving szechuan the rest of our trip so our last night in town we finally had time to check it out and the food definitely did not disappoint! The portions were big and the service was excellent! I would definitely recommend checking it out!

Incredibly delicious. Great place to do shared plates and try lots of different meals. My favorite was the Dan Dan noodles. Perfectly spicy and oily. Cool atmosphere and good service as well.

Our order was to go. This restaurant was clean, fast, and friendly. I got the cucumber salad, which was refreshing and tasty. We also got some pork dumplings. They were super juicy and flavorful. I would love to come back and eat inside the restaurant next.

Don't let the faded exterior fool you! It serves delicious Cantonese-style food with an open kitchen. Plenty of affordable lunch specials and regular dishes. The ~$14 lunch special (before tax) comes with a great portion, a spring roll and hot & sour soup, The food is freshly cooked and flavorful. Professional chefs, friendly staff and fast service. Takeout is also available!

Love this place. I'll be so sad when they rebuild this block and we lose them. Best Chinese in the Frelard/Greenwood area. Fun to watch them cook it right in front of you, always have interesting meals for their own lunch. Friendly staff, fast preparation and delicious food. Lots of options and lunch vs dinner specials. Ask for higher spice, they are geared for local low tolerance star values. Large family table with rotating center for sharing, small private tables for couples. Come enjoy the food or order for take out like I often do.

We got the Prawn and Chive dumplings, Pork Belly Buns, Garlic Three Way Fried Rice, Scallop Prawn Gung Bao, and the Original Sin cocktail. Everything was very tasty. If you cannot do spice the Pork Belly Buns are a great choice. Two of three people in our party are gluten free and there were many options to cater to their allergies. The bartender even took time explain what the restaurants’ bar entailed and let us try a baijiu they have. They also have two clean bathrooms.

our original bday dinner plans didn’t pan out so we went here last minute- we have never been happier!!!! wonderful food, absolutely amazing service and beautiful atmosphere. highly recommend going after the sunsets, the evening lighting is wonderful. we had the Sichuan babyback ribs, hot mala chicken and green beans and all three were fantastic. we also had the “original sin” and “if only i had a sword” for drinks and omg highly highly recommend. i wish we lived closer. well worth the cost!! the two servers that helped us were absolutely wonderful, big thanks to them next time we are in seattle this is the first place we are going to!!!!!

Great lunch combo options and great prices with large portions. I got a huge plate of delicious food that would have fed 2 people for $10. I also ordered the fried egg rolls and they were definitely a house-made variety, nice and crispy with abundant filling. I particularly found the pork egg fu yung freshly fried and tasty covered with a satisfying gravy. This appears to be a multi-generational family restaurant as there were babies, young kids, 30 somethings and elderly all hanging out off the clock mid afternoon on a weekday. It was lovely to see a thriving establishment with a family working together. Note on parking: I was asked to move my vehicle twice. I had parked backed up close to the building along the curb. I was warned that sometimes people drift through the gravel parking area and vehicles have been hit. I stayed put and took my chances. There were no deterrent signs posted. If you don't want people parking at the curb, please post signage or paint instructions on the building.

It's my first time eating at this restaurant. It's a good atmosphere, with lots of parking. The service was good. As for the food, I like the honey walnut prawns and the stir-fried mixed veggies with scallops. The egg rolls were hot and crispy. Give it a try and see if you like it.

Really love the clean aesthetic and music. They're quick to seat you and give you time to order. We ordered several appetizers and soups. Everything is served beautifully, and we enjoyed the food. Only thing is the beef noodle soup was way too salty! Everything else from the chicken dumplings, steamed pork buns, etc was delicious! 😋 I will return again. 😊

I was just too excited that Dough Zone was opening in Kent station, and happy I tired. Vegetarian options - Loved their Yi Bin and Dan Dan noodles. Dumplings have less stuffing so they are not puffy and looks small and more doughy. The place can get loud when busy, service can get better. I wish I could give them 5 stars like other Dough Zone locations.

We stopped by after picking up Megastar to go. We needed dumplings to pair with our roast pork and roast duck combo we had just ordered from Megastar. Thankfully they were across the street so we didn’t have to travel far. The restaurant was busy on a Sunday afternoon. The parking lot was almost full. I ordered the siu mai, steamed shrimp dumplings, steamed shrimp and chive dumplings, and the green beans with garlic. I paid $36 for everything. What a great price. The dumplings were all huge. The siu mai were a good three biter. The shrimp dumplings were smooth with chunks of shrimp. A simple yet delicious har gow. We also really enjoyed the shrimp and chive. These were made fresh , I had to wait a little longer for these to come out. Well worth it. The chive gave it a nice flavor. A good price for sizes. Also the green beans! A whole takeout container for $7 . The best garlic green beans I’ve had. You must try their chili oil as well! Not that spicy at all. I could finally douse my dumplings in a chili oil. Can’t wait to come back and try more dumplings.

Fast and friendly service. I appreciate the cart service dim sum, but I was a bit disappointed that the non-steamed dishes were somewhat cold and the dishes were pretty pricey.

Amazing! My boyfriend and I were so impressed with everything we ordered. The portions are huge and everything was delicious. Staff was really attentive and friendly. Definitely one of our new favorite places!

I've been here four times now and the food is very delicious! Today I got a little more than usual with the intent of having leftovers for tomorrow. I ordered the ribs appetizer even though I was like, $9.99 is a lot for an appetizer? And then it showed up and I realized why. The portion is big! I was asked if I wanted the appetizer (4 ribs) or the meal (6?8? ribs) and I am glad I asked for the appetizer because the portion is enough for 1 meal alone for me. My favorite thing to get is the honey shrimp dinner combo which comes with steamed rice (+$2 for fried rice), soup, and an egg roll. The beans with garlic are also very delicious and crispy. The ribs are very sweet. The portion sizes are large and the food is delicious, I highly recommend. There's a parking lot in the back, turning left into the restaurant is a little funky. Staff members are very patient and attentive. If you want to dine in, come 1hr before closing, as they stop seating then and only do take out for the hour.
