I miss there a lot. I never had problems with the food. I remember playing Marvel vs Capcom back in the early 2000s. Why people are criticizing the food? People should enjoy it and respect the food. I left Staten Island summer 2015. Someday I will come back to visit there.
This place gives me bad vibes. 1st off the person that answer the phone is very rude in her tone. Then the delivery driver snatches the money out of my hand and throws food at me. You guys give the vibe that you would do something to my food. You guys need to learn real customer service. Also the food taste like it was pre made and just warmed up. And the chicken taste like different meat
Asian Wok
Best place to get sushi for your buck. We have been ordering here for over a year now and really enjoy their food. Either their Chinese or Japanese meals. I personally love their sushi and will keep buying from them. Also, we love their orange chicken, egg drop soup and it's not too spicy. The shop lady is always friendly :)
First time and will not try again my almond sauce had black flakes floating in it. Not sure as to what I could’ve been. General Tso chicken was beyond the normal spicy for general tso chicken.
New Ming Wah Restaurant
Hello fellow travelers and locals alive. I found this place to be expensive for Chinese food or Oriental Chow. How do you want to say it. I came here for the positive reviews. The menu was extensive, meaning quality is not good. I don't know about you but I will look for another place if you're looking for Chinese or Oriental. Imagine that, I thought Panda Express sounded good, after visiting this place, you'll never find me here again. No thank you. I will not visit Panda Express. I requested curry noodles with curry sauce and I did not get that.
Today I order sweet sour meatballs with pork fried rice and of lemon pepper chicken wings. The pork fried rice had no pork in it and it was burnt and you can see it being burnt and I did not put any soy sauce on it and the lemon pepper, chicken wings Was a fee of a dollar more but we barely lemon pepper on when I tried to call and tell him about it, the Young Guy was very rude to me on the phone and I was unable to go back to the restaurant. Was that satisfied with my food with my dinner I had to wind up Getting something else. This was a waste of $35 that I could use for something else.
Hong Kong Kei One
Amazing Asian cuisine! This place is extremely clean, which is rare, very rare. The food taste amazing reminds me of Brooklyn Asian food (if you ever tried It you understand) and the business is family owned, everyone is extremely kind and respectful and never complain about swapping adding or removing things. I highly recommend this place, it’s amazing. If you want the best Chinese food, this is the spot in Staten Island hands down! Oh and they have bubble tea 🤣
The owner of this restaurant is a true gentleman, the establishment is top-notch, and the food is exceptional! It's known as the best Chinese cuisine on Staten Island.
Garden Cheng Chinese Restaurant
Great sesame chicken and shrimp fried rice with sweet tea, and the lady is so kind. She also remembers her customers
It's not that it's delicious. It's not that bad either. It's just normal.but I don’t like the fried rice tho.
Islander Taste Chinese Restaurant
Stopped in and ordered shrimp fried rice no onions with added baby corn and omg it was awesome!! Plenty of shrimp, the rice had a great flavor. I would definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be back.
Ordered Tao chicken , I never had it without broccoli. The chicken was OK. The lo mein was dry . Everything else was OK.
Dragon Express
Dragon Express is easily one of the best Chinese food spots I've had in a long time. The service was impressively fast, and the food was absolutely delicious — exactly what I needed after a long day of training. I highly recommend it to my fellow service members looking for a quick and satisfying lunch or dinner. Be sure to check out their lunch specials too — great portions and even better value! Don't judge this place by its cover; while it might look simple from the outside, the quality of the food and service inside speaks for itself.
4.8 Get some today! Easy spot to miss but producing exceptional food and authentic flavors at a very reasonable price. A real gem of a family owned shop. We need more restaurants like this. High on quality and value. I will be back. 🥠🥠.
China Chalet
Recently I attended a party at the restaurant and while the food was decent, the waiter service left a lot to be desired. The wait staff physically poked guests to move out of the way so they could place the dishes on the table and at one point a waiter began to curse when he tried to place the dishes down. I realize this is not 5 star dining, but the behavior of the wait staff was unacceptable.
I reserved this restaurant after the burial of my brother in law about three weeks ago. We had approximately 25 people in our party and spent $600 with nice tip. The waiter was extremely rude and condescending. I grew up in Chinatown in Manhattan and I have never had a waiter so rude. My brother asked for a small cup white rice and the waiter said; No white rice! I will never come back to this restaurant.
P.F. Chang's
Tonight our family of five chose to dine here ( Augusta, GA) Mall Location. The check-in was lacking as we had to wait to be seated on a Tuesday night, not because it was busy there was no one at the front desk. After a wait we heard someone yell; xxx you got people up front. We were seated after waiting… then no one came for some time to bring water or menus. One young lady was adding silver service to an empty table, so we sat and sat until finally we asked the young lady placing napkins can we get menus or service. Shortly, thereafter this heavily lipped gloss waitress came over. As soon as she open her mouth… water(spit)flew out onto my arm.. ugh! I almost decided not to dine there… between the nails and the over embellished lip gloss… she took our order w/o a note pad and other than not asking if we wanted lemon in our water, the food order was correct. Sooooo, I have given a 4(*) because of the wait time upon entering and at the table and because of the spit situation. Double Ugh! This experience was not what I expected for a $200 tab not including tip. The food was good too.
Ordered curbside pickup. Very disappointment. The food was not good. Mongolian Beef was way over cooked, worse than eating beef jerky. Beef like chewing leather. Fried rice bland and tasteless. Chicken in the Spicy Chicken Bowl was dry. The only thing that tasted half way decent was the egg rolls. Not what I was expecting for $66 meal.
China 8 Restaurant
Undercooked chicken and wrong order. Beyond disappointed I gave this place a shot because I was extremely hungry and my chicken is undercooked mushy and isn’t teriyaki chicken I asked for fried rice with it and just got white with vegetables which is ok I’m more mad at the chicken this place sucks $10 for nasty food
This was nasty. It doesn’t even taste like general Tao. I asked for crispy and got soggy and where’s the broccoli??!!. It was like eating spongy mushy fried flour balls. I’m from Brooklyn NY and we have the best Chinese food! 21$ for 2 soggy orders.
Happy Fortune Chinese Restaurant
I have always ordered from this place for years. Recently in the past year or 2 they have gotten new management or just new employees and honestly they are extreme rude and disrespectful. I had a delivery to my house. I was short on cash. I wasn’t able to give a large tip as I always do, but I have what I could. The delivery driver took the tip and proceeded to embarrass me. Absolutely disgusting. I have NEVER experienced this ever with any kind of delivery from anywhere! Absolutely disgusting and disgraceful. I will no longer be ordering from this place.
Been coming here for the past 9 months since moved to this neighborhood. I have tried other Chinese takeouts around but this one has the best taste for and my wife. Most of the usual dishes are good but I found the beef broccoli and the general tso chicken are especially good.
CHINA INN
Food tasted totally different today than normal. Hot and sour soup was neither spicy nor sour, tasted like gelatinous beef broth, very bland and somewhat old tasting. Several other items tasted off as well, as if they got a new cook who couldn’t find the recipes. Buffet could def stand to be refreshed more often. The soups and sauces generally have a very thick congealed layer at the top which is pretty gross. The building was also very hot and at least 80% humidity which didn’t make for a pleasant meal. Couldn’t recommend this place to anyone after todays dining experience. Edit: For some reason my kid loves this place, so we decided to go for his birthday, despite me really not wanting to. We went on a weekend during dinner time. The food was slightly better than my previous review. It’s the next morning and I now have mild food poisoning and can’t get off the toilet. Just skip this place, I will definitely never be returning, my kid can find a new favorite place.
We did a to go order. We got the vegetable lomien, seseme chicken, and the walnut shrimp. The food was food, but I thought the portions were small, given the price of them. Especially the walnut shrimp that was 17 dollars.
