Sing Bo
Wow! They must’ve changed oils and not informed anyone. We have always ordered from them in the past. Food is def good! HOWEVER, last evening my son, who is severely allergic to peanuts, ordered take out from them, as we do every Sunday evening with no problem. His usual order, sesame chicken, and an egg roll. We ate our dinners, trimmed our tree, and said goodnight. An hour later I was in the hospital with my son with a severe allergic reaction to their food. Drs said it was peanuts. My son’s face blew up and throat closed. Really severe. Sooooo, for those who have always been ok with their fried foods etc., please beware. Like I said, we never had a problem with them but something def changed…they should st least let their customers know that they now use peanut oil. It’s only right.
It was super nice! went there with my friend, we got to sit the fish tank and was able to chat a bit before ordering. We got the crab rangoons, sweet and sour chicken with pork fried rice and egg drop soup which was the lunch special ! super good! sweet and sour sauce was amazing!! crab rangoons were a bit sweet for my tastes but still good! Guy at the front was super nice and helpful with our orders, will be coming again.
Happy Fortune
Restaurant has totally gone downhill after reopening from Covid. Food quality is poor. Customer Service, poor. Atmosphere, poor Prices went up portions went down and even the fried rice tastes like what you would get at a supermarket. I recently ordered boneless spareribs from here and it was burnt I brought it back and they argued with me. “This is how we make it”. There’s a restaurant up the street called Tack’s. It’s takeout And they have their own delivery. Food is delicious at Tack’s. I was mad for not going there instead. Will never use Happy Fortune ever again..
Today, I walked in and greeted them with a smile, and said. I was "New to the neighborhood and I'm looking for some good Chinese cuisine. May I have a menu?" The women stared at me like I was from a different planet. I than awkwardly started looking around and saw a menu I said "oh here it is. Thank you." She than, greeted a women that came in after me. Still not acknowledging what I've said. I go around and eat at places a lot, and I've experienced all types of customer service. But, this one was different. I don't want to try the food. I just have a feeling they won't appreciate the business I'll bring. You lost yourself a customer, and I didn't even get to try a single dish. I just know, the quality of how they treat their customers, is the same quality of the food they'll serve. I'm good.
Red Ginger
Got the sesame chicken w/ egg fried rice and crab rangoons. Pretty tasty Very easy to order on their website.
For starters I am a regular customer and order from here ALL THE TIME LOL. And this is the first bad experience i have had I think its a bit ridiculous i ordered the mongolian beef with a side of white rice and only get 4-5 pieces of “beef” in a bowl full of onions and sauce. I called to ask why this was and all I got was the person on the other end being quiet and just repeating what I was saying. Its very frustrating to pay 15 dollars for a bowl of onions mixed veggies and sauce and get barely any protein. I usually order the beef pad thai and its delicious and always packed with protein. I know inflation is real but cmon this is not cool!
Golden star
I've been ordering frm here for over 20 yrs. Even tho I moved back to bklyn still get take out to bring home when im on SI. Food was excellent. Not so much today. Pork ends were dry & tasted old & stale & the lo mein was just inedible. Disgusing taste.Threw it all out. Shoulda just lit $20 on fire at least I coulda watched it burn. 👎
The service sucks . The women that takes the orders is extremely rude and disrespectful. I also had ordered food for delivery and half my order was missing and I called to get my order and they kept hanging up the phone and I paid money for nothing . Extremely unsatisfied , disgusting
Tack's Chinese Take Out
I just gotten three orders of the sesame chicken, chicken fried rice, and egg rolls for a party of 5. It was great!! Definitely recommend!!
Let me put yall on… best Chinese food in Staten Island in my opinion. Gotta def try the beef lo mein and chicken broccoli. Would highly recommend…
Peking Kitchen
I ordered general tso tofu, like I would normally do - but it was not at all the same or enjoyable. The rice was super soggy and lacked flavor. It felt like I was eating a water soup with broccoli and soggy rice. I called to let them know it wasn’t at all how they usually make it and I got dismissed as If that was my first time trying it or as if they didn’t care that I couldn’t eat it. The lady that answered the phone said the cook would make it the same if they were to make me a new order. Note to self- never order during the week. Or at all for that matter.
They have good customer service and even accept cards but the food was lacking in opinion. I ordered sesame chicken and orange chicken with fried rice and it didn’t taste great.
DIDI Tex Mex
Lucky star is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Staten Island the food is delicious. I always get the shrimp 🍤 fried rice with three dollars extra shrimp and I mean it's delicious. If u ever pass by 271 port Richmond u gotta give it a try u won't be disappointed trust me.
Great service and reasonable prices. I loved the food. Overall, it is a must visit place to get delicious Chinese food. The new owners are very nice and I recommend supporting their small business.
No 1 Chinese Kitchen
I see why they are #1 Chinese food. I ordered food last night the garlic and butter dumplings where amazing, along with the sesame seed chicken was delicious. I would definitely come back for the dumplings again! I'll give it 10/10 🔥
We usually order from another Chinese takeout spot but, earlier in the week we got spoiled food. We thought it was time to try another spot. We ordered our favorite - chicken, and broccoli with chicken/pork fried rice. The food came quickly and was hot. However, this place was cheap in supplying sauce and gave no utensils or napkins. We spent over $75 and most places give free items when you spend over a certain amount. This place doesn't offer any promotions like that. The fried rice was bland almost to the point of being tasteless. I felt like the rice needed a bit more seasoning and salt. The sauce from chicken and broccoli was tasty but, congealed and had very little. The food tasted fresh at least. Not the best experience and I am not sure if we would order again.
Peking Taste Chinese and Thai Restaurant
This is by far the best Chinese food I have had. the sesame tofu is fresh and delicious. The portions were large and the gentlemen is very nice! great recommendation. I will be back
Today my friend and I had dinner at Peking Taste. The hot & spicy beef was really delicious, and we will come here for dinner more often in the future.
Moon & Flower House (Staten Island)
What a gem! Their onigiri 🍙 was so delicious. We got kani and tuna, comes with spicy mayo on the side. It is made to order, super filling and fresh. The mochi donuts were phenomenal. Artful presentation, the flavors were so unique, and the dough is so soft and chewy, definitely unlike any other donut I’ve had. We will be back 😁
I don't know why there's negative reviews but this place has sum really nice affordable prices for lunch. I got the pork cutlet sandwich set and the fries are plentiful and delicious. I really love the fries cause they were fresh and crispy. Not the biggest fan of the pork cutlet. But imma order from uber eats more to try their other stuff. Definitely a spot to visit and I love how cute it looks.
Dynasty Taste
They have the best sushi burritos in new York, it is juicy and taste amazing
Ordered dinner, low mein , house special chow mein, brown rice and white rice. The low mein had no flavor and left a weird after taste. The chow mein tasted odd as well. I did not like the flavor nor did my grandkids. Will not be ordering from here again.
Island Kitchen Chinese
Not bad at all. Fried chicken was crispy and juicy, very nice, and the wings are big. Pork fried rice was just right, not too greasy. Steamed chicken dumplings were very tasty. Beef and broccoli again, nice. Not too much sauce. I only wish that there was a little more flavor especially in beef and broccoli; and prices are higher than my usual joint which is closed on Mondays. Delivery showed up reasonably quickly. Will try again.
Amazing food! Excellent customer service! highly recommended!
