Chinese takeout restaurants. The food is good, but the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered chicken lo mein. Always good.

The food is always good. Good portions. Reasonably priced. This week alone I have ordered two times online and both times when I got to the restaurant they hadn't even looked at the online orders. On the first time it happened I just told him not to bother to make it I didn't have time to wait. The second time it happened I waited however I would think they would try to compensate their customers who have been patient with them and who have been with them for years by taking a discount off the food they ordered or something to that effect. They have a new online ordering system now and ever since I have used this place this is twice in one week mind you that I place an order online to get there to find they hadn't even looked at it. I'm very disappointed. I think I'm going to have to find a new Chinese place.

Solid spot for Filipino comfort food. I order the lechon every time it's available, because it's good! But for real, all the items they have there are good. Go and eat and be happy.

What truly sets Maymar apart is the atmosphere. It's not just about the food, it's about the people. They make you feel like family from the moment you step inside. You're not just a customer; you're a friend. There's a genuine warmth and hospitality that's hard to find these days. If you're looking for authentic Filipino cuisine served with a side of genuine Filipino hospitality, look no further than Maymar. It's a hidden gem that I can't recommend enough. top-tier and incredibly affordable. Their chicken adobo? It's the stuff of legends!

But I did find hair in my food twice the first I thought it was me, but I start to realize that they do not use hair nets while in the kitchen.

They always get my order right and it's always good. Friendly staff and they work hard to satisfy everyone.

Ordered here many times over the years for the most part Foods great always fresh and hot and correct . Nice little tiny spot of nice wide variety a Foods. Fast hot and fresh food for the most part two things that don't like but they got a really big menu lunch specials they deliver fast service can be a little aggravating sometimes on the phone but definitely worth checking out keep up the good work thank you for all the great food

First time ordering from here because i never knew if it was open or closed and the door was locked but i called the number on the door and I'm happy i did because the food was good! The Sesame chicken was my favorite and the beef and broccoli was also very good. Overall the food was way less oily than other places in the area and i would definitely order again.

Golden Chopsticks offers a decent Chinese food experience, but it’s not without its flaws. The food was ready remarkably fast—only two minutes—. The dish was just okay, with a noticeable amount of sugar and a lack of fresh ingredients. On the plus side, the portion sizes are generous, and you get an eggroll and a soda with your dinner meal, which adds value. The price is fair for what you get, but overall, it’s more of a convenient option than a memorable one. Ordered: General Pho’s chicken

Flavors are good but I ordered shrimp and a side of rice, not rice and a side of shrimp. Only 5 shrimps for a whole meal? That’s crazy. This is the second time we’ve bought from them and the dinner portions were great, I’m hoping it’s a one time thing because they do taste good.

My new favorite Chinese food spot! I love that there are unique items on the menu that sets them apart from other local Chinese spots. There are various dumplings if you don’t want pork, Yummy tofu dishes, various soups, and my new favorite-the cold sesame noodles. OH. MY. GOODNESS. Not to mention the VERY generous portions of food and side sauces. I gave service 4 stars only because I ordered online through the business listing and the site could be improved. After I placed the order there was no text or email confirmation so I knew for sure it went through and was in progress. So I had to call to check in. But the food got there very fast and the delivery guy knew exactly where to go. Thanks Kin’s Wok! I’ll be ordering again! :)

I remember when this restaurant was one of best Chinese food in Norfolk. Tonight I went to this restaurant for dinner, I figure, I would try something different. I purchase 1 order of chicken fried rice, 1 shrimp fried rice, 1 order of mandarin combination and 1 order of crab ragoon. Total price was 47.00. all is this food was horrible, the rice was hard and taste less, mandarin dish had no favor at all and for 16.95 I'm piss off. I am truly disappointed with the food I receive and I will never return again.

I ordered the orange chicken and chow mein. The food was fresh and the service was quick. HIGHLY recommend and will visit again soon.

It’s pretty okay here, hopefully with all the students they’re making fresh food. Don’t work here if you’re a male, you’ll exhaust yourself and receive nothing in return so just do what you’re asked no more. And I do recommend waiting for fresh food if you can. Me as well as a few others have had bad experiences with some food poisoning from panda.

After I told them to NOT poke holes in my soup lid, they still did. They can't even do Hot & Sour soup right; it was tasteless, no flavor at all.

The food was so so hot(temperature)! Which is crazy to believe for delivery, amazing! Got the Pad Thai and General Tao’s Chicken, hot and sour soup and spring rolls. All 10/10!

We listen and we don’t judge!! I order from here faithfully 2/3 times a week! It NEVER MISSES! It is faster than you can say jimmy johns! And it’s always hot and fresh! This place is amazing! 10/10 highly recommend! P.s. don’t mind the pics, the chicken didn’t make it LOL

Ordered upon recommendation from a friend. Service was quick and friendly. 2 for $5 lumpia were tiny, but good. Veggie fried rice was bland. No flavor.

It was trash. Stopped by today on lunch break. I was visiting from Richmond and seen the traffic. The guy who took my order was really pleasant. There was a lady working whose demeanor was awful to everyone! It’s like she was wanting and waiting for a reason to be mean, nasty, and rude. My chicken wings were soft and fried in old burnt grease and my fried rice tasted spoiled. I know fried rice is used a day or two old but applied tasting was not it. Most customers were men and most men do not know good food. I won’t attend again.

Solid Chinese joint. Did takeout and it was ready in 10 mins. Would eat here again. Everything was hot, delicious and plentiful. (I’m Picture, General Tso chicken/egg roll/pork fried rice combo and cheese/crab Rangoon and boneless spare ribs)

Food was decent. The fried rice was nothing g to rave about. It wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad either. But Thai place definitely wouldn’t be my first choice.

The chicken that is in this food is slimy and white like flour. It has the consistency of fat on a steak. The crab ragoon is literally just sweet mayo and imitation crab. Wontons tasted like the plastic they were stored in before cooking. I tried to eat the food because I had just spent the money on it but I couldn’t stomach it and my girlfriend couldn’t get past the way the chicken looked. Would not recommend.

The second worst part of moving, hands down, is finding a new Chinese spot. I was craving Chinese something fierce & just went for it. 70 dollars worth of food, ordered with blind trust, & it was ready for pickup in 15. I peeped my mans location to see where about it was (remember, I just moved) & the joint is next to a strip club. Aiight, aiight. Ima use that to mess with him later. He came home, it smelled so good. We made plates. The crazy in me was prepping to ask tf he was doing at a strip club, but then I took a bite. The way the meat melted in my mouth? It melted my attitude right with it. It was so good, I straight up forgot what I was about to say. I’m shocked. Their foods so good, they’re out here saving lives. Saving marriages. I’ll be sending my man back- set up free.

This was absolutely terrible. I just paid 21.00 for two orders of chicken wings and a shrimp egg roll. The chicken wings wasn't even regular size chicken wings, they are charging so much for 4 wingetts. I mean it was absolutely ridiculous and my egg roll was burned and dry. I really feel cheated out of my money. Never again!!
