Fuji Hibachi Express
Ate here for the first time yesterday. We ordered general tsos, orange chicken, and hibachi chicken. All food was freshly prepared, large portions , and tasted fantastic. Definitely recommend. As for customer service I didn't have an issue- very helpful with dish descriptions and answered my questions . Give it a try.
I read the reviews and almost didn't go, but the people were friendly and the food was good, it's not the BEST hibachi chicken I've ever eaten but nothing wrong with it. Would definitely eat there again, great portions and price.
Orient Express
By far the best Chinese food I’ve ever had! The soups are delicious. You can tell they take pride in their dishes and cooking to perfection. The prices and portions are generous. The service is fantastic. Sushi is fresh. I love the atmosphere here. Exceptional in every way!
We drive over an hour and a half to come here. The portions are huge and the prices are very reasonable! The food is always fresh and delicious. We get the half and half plate (noodles and fried rice) with two meats. Everything we’ve tried has been great!
China I
This is strictly take out. It has been my favorite for 20 years. Cannot believe I haven't done a review. Use to have a lunch buffet, but, alas, that is no more. I always get through on the phone. I like this place because the food flavor has not changed. I get mine hot and spicy sometimes. I have seen the young ones grow up here. Thanks, China 1. Yes, they are my no. 1.
Yall got the best shrimp fried rice! Please don’t change your shrimp and I will keep coming forever!! 🥰🥰🥰 Excuse my half eaten plate, but it is soooo good!
Yummy House Gainesville
The staff here are on the top of their game! Present and knowledgable, the service was excellent and top speed. Entrees were about $15-25 depending on the dish and are well worth the price point with high quality ingredients and generous portions. I ordered the House Style Chicken Clay Pot with a side of white rice, and needless to say, I was pleased with my choice. With a variety of dishes and flavors, we are already planning our next visit!
I was disappointed with my experience at Yummy House in Gainesville. The dim sum did not taste fresh and seemed like it came from pre-packaged food, lacking the authentic flavor I was hoping for. Additionally, the service was underwhelming; the lady server was unfriendly and had a rude demeanor, which made the overall experience less enjoyable. I expected better service and food quality
China Garden
I regularly get the sesame tofu for lunch and it is always fresh and fantastic. The sauce is perfect! The establishment is clean and the staff is very hard working and kind. They are very nice people. The food came out extremely quick. I go back time and time again!
This was my first time trying this Chinese Restaurant. I had the 15 small fried shrimp they were cooked nice and crisp the way I like my food, but it lacked flavor it tasted like they forgot to season the shrimp. I also had the fried sugar donuts and they were good. The service was great. I ordered the food online it was an easy process and the food was ready when I got there and still fresh. The employee that waited on me was nice and friendly. However, I don't think I will be going back due to the horrible smell that hit me time I walked in the restaurant it smelled like something was dead in there. I really didn't want to eat the food after that, but since I had purchased it I wasn't going to threw it away.
P.F. Chang's
This is our first visit, and we were immediately impressed by the restaurant’s stylish and inviting ambiance. The dishes we ordered were not only visually appealing but also delicious. Most of the flavors matched what we’re accustomed to, and while the mapo tofu had a unique twist on the classic, it was still very enjoyable. The service here is outstanding, creating a warm and welcoming experience
Our server Rachel was very friendly as we sat down! The food was delicious. The dumplings were definitely out Fave! Beef and Broccoli was a tad salty. Nice Lunch Date!
China Star Chinese Restaurant
It’s reasonable and taste is very good compared to pandas! I would go this restaurant for orange chicken forever! I recommend 2 meats 2 sides. Orange chicken is just normal taste like pandas. The general source chicken has a savory taste than orange chicken. I like both of them and couldn’t choice just one.. and another recommendation is black pepper in which my friend like it and most customer seems like choice that one. And beef is not enough great so i have ate beef just one time. For sides, rice or noodle is essential option and you can choose vegetable or eggplant for another side option.
Very rude stuff. But the food ok.. they give a little bit of sauce for the bourbon chicken. It don't taste like the other restaurant one
Bagels & Noodles
I got an order of the Bún bò Huế delivered and it is delicious. The pork and beef were both fatty, tender, and delicious. The broth was super savory with the perfect amount of spice. The veggies were fresh and fragrant. And the noodles were springy and filling. Great dish! If I had to criticize it, I would say there was not enough sourness in the dish; I added a packet of hoisin sauce that it came with but it did not do enough. That is nitpicking for an amazing dish though.
Even if the Pad Thai didn't have multiple long black hairs in it, it was pretty mediocre. The rice paper on the summer rolls was stale and kind of hard, and the "Thai green tea" was definitely just powdered, which I could taste and expected when the guy poured it out of a pitcher into my to go cup. The lemongrass beef was better, like a 3/5, but I just wouldn't go here again. Sucks, cause I work nights and like getting non breakfast food early when I leave work.
Golden Buddha Restaurant
We like supporting this small business. A really nice couple runs it. Golden Budah is the OG of Chinese food. BTW the Honey chicken is really good.
Don’t judge a book by its cover like I did and wait years to try the Golden Buddha! I was finally enticed by their perfect sanitation score to give it a shot, and I’m so glad I did. Hands down, the best Chinese food I’ve had in Florida! The dishes are packed with flavor, generous portions, and the service is fast and friendly. Whether you’re craving classic favorites or something new, you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend!
Kasai Sushi Bar and Kitchen
Lovely place and great sushi. Chef Leo makes fantastic sushi. We ordered black dragon and chef's special. The presentation is great. Salmon and tuna are both very fresh. The restaurant has a great ambiance. Our server is very friendly. This is a great experience. We will come back soon for more!
Excellent sushi restaurant! Slick, modern interior, friendly staff, and top notch sushi. Tons of parking at lunch time on a Saturday, and zero wait time. We started with the Pork Dumplings appetizer, which came with some of the best dipping sauce I’ve ever tasted. The selection of rolls was borderline overwhelming (in a good way) and we chose a Salmon Tempura, a Sex On The Moon, & a Gator Bait Roll. The Salmon Temp was a little smaller than the two specialty rolls, but was very tasty. Next time we’ll ask for crab delight on top, which we suspect would make it even better. The Sex In The Moon was a great savory a sweet roll, while the Gator Bait was the odd man out. Since it didn’t have any rice in it, we decided it didn’t really register as a “sushi roll” to our minds, but rather a very tasty meat dish. Don’t let that stop you from trying it, it was excellent. 2 people came to $70 with tip, but that was appetizer, two drinks, and three rolls. Pretty reasonable for a quality sushi restaurant. We will definitely come here again.
Vietnamese Grille
Holy SHIZNIT! I ordered this chicken sandwich on a hoagie with some stuff and some things which you’ll see in my pictures! As soon as I took a bite so much flavor and so many different flavors! Chicken was cooked perfectly! Not to mention you get that old school service because the woman who works there is absolutely amazing! Obviously, I’ll be back to Try. Probably the rest of the menu, but honestly everything perfectly cooked! But for me being a little older, lol, I love the fact that you get that old-school Service! I totally recommend this place! I was a little nervous at first because I haven’t had Vietnamese food, but I’m so glad I tried it and you will be too! Check out my pics :-)
It has a pretty good bahn mi sandwich. Just make sure you repeat your order otherwise you might get something you didn’t make clear. But otherwise great place.
Wah Ha Ha Thai Food & Noodle Soup
Vietnamese noodle soup and Green Curry with pork and rice were absolutely outstanding! I ordered both Thai Hot and was happy with the spice level. I eat spice or hot sauce on everything I consume. So, for me Thai Hot was perfect. Made my sinuses run and my face flush with red. I arrived shortly after opening about 11:30am and I was the only one dinning in. My server was perfectly attentive. After taking my order and delivering my food and beverage she only stopped by my table to take away used dishes. If I needed something it would have been easy to get her attention. The atmosphere is nothing special but adequate and comfortable for anything informal. One negative I could see would be the lack of parking on premises. I pulled off into the grass in front which worked and was where others have parked before me. Don’t be scared by the location or the exterior look. Go in and give it a try. You won’t be disappointed in the food!
We were traveling and craving good Thai food. Their reviews drew us in. Red curry was delicious, I had it with shrimp, medium hot wasn't really hot. Pad Thai was just ok, hubby said it was missing something but he ate it up! The steamed dumplings and crab ragoons were yummy. Service was good. There was a very odd, strong smell when we walked in, so strong we almost left because of it. Their bathroom needs a good cleaning. If I had seen it before we sat down, I would have left. :(
