Amazing dinner tonight! There were four of us this evening. We ordered several things off the menu and split the bill. That way we were able to try a variety of items. The fried chicken was amazing! There was also a pork dish that came out sizzling in a cast iron that was soooo good! I sadly forget the name of it. It was in a mildly spicy sauce. The popcorn chicken, and sweet and sour pork were also a couple favorites. So many good things. We were in Gainesville visiting my daughter at UF. Will make this a regular stop when we come up. They also have a couple of Karaoke rooms available for rent as well. I think it was a private room for 35 a room.

I’ve come here twice now and it was amazing both times! The staff is extremely friendly and soooo nice. The first time I went here, they recommended the rose tteokbokki and it was so tasty. If you come here I 100% recommend getting the beef bulgogi because this is the most flavorful bulgogi I’ve had at a restaurant to date. Their japchae is also extremely good and I recommend getting it. If you like spicy food, definitely get the Korean Fried Chicken, but be warned, the portion size could literally feed a family of 8.

Don't know how they do it , but the portions are HUGE. The szechuwan chicken Is like 1 pound of white meat.tenders in delicious sauce. Drove from Roswell just to get them. Great value Great food

I ate here with a friend, server was very nice and helpful when we ordered. However, the soup was cold for the place just being open for the day, I would’ve thought otherwise. The sesame chicken itself wasn’t like any sesame chicken i’ve had before and not in a good way. There was a very weird syrup over the chicken and while the chicken was hot it seemed old. The rice almost seemed leftover as did the chicken. Not even 10 minutes after eating I felt so sick and needed to get fresh air and threw up everywhere outside. I feel absolutely awful. I’m not sure if it from the poor preparation or MSG.. I will not be back.

I'd give it five stars on everything but it really is an express, so it doesn't have a fancy setting. I think they probably get a lot more to goes than they get people that eat there, but I don't know that for sure. When I was there, everybody was getting their food to go. Not sure where they parked. I know it was quite a chore for me. I think that would be the only thing that I'm not crazy about. That being it's so hard to find a parking space just to go in for 10 minutes to get something to take away. It's the busy part of town and they're doing work on the roads which doesn't help, in the end it was worth it. I got curry chicken and I believe they were called samosas. It was really good. Just because it's a takeout place that doesn't mean it's not well prepared and delicious. It is. Apparently they have a buffet during the week and I went there on a Saturday so I had to just order one thing. I would love to come back and try some of their other options. If I can get to Gainesville again I will definitely hit this place again. I definitely recommend this place. Even though it looks like a little hole in the wall, it's really good food. And the guy that worked there was very nice. He didn't rush anybody when they were trying to make a decision and he was very helpful explaining what each of the dishes were. He was also good about making sure that he followed what you wanted. Specifically I did not want my curry chicken too hot. He did it perfectly. I think there's just a couple of people working there. I saw someone else that was bringing food out and probably cooking behind the scenes. Give it a try if you like Indian food. I think this Indian food is very good. Everyone else seemed to like theirs too. The portions are quite large also. You'll probably have enough for two meals. Very nice!

ALLERGY FRIENDLY! The proprietor is so friendly, had no problem answering my food allergy questions. And making recommendations. It is virtually nut free (only cashew milk in a few dishes.) Halal, so no alcohol/vinegar. She makes everything in house. Several vegetarian options. The food itself was delicious! And huge portions. Our bill was $30 and we both ate our fill, and still brought home more than we ate there!. I highly recommend!

The Japanese Ramen was outstanding!!!!! I will return soon. My server Ty was also wonderful and he made sure my dietary needs (gluten free, egg free) were met without issue. I have also had their Calamari and it is equally wonderful!!!! I highly recommend this restaurant!!

First time eating there. Cute little place also has outside seating, the Bao buns were my absolute favorite with the pork belly. The Zen ramen was very delicious. And the wonton soup was amazing.

This was one of the best hibachi places i have ever been. The amount of food and quality, the service especially for NY eve was all impeccable. Nice size glass of plum wine. The salad dressing was so good I bought some to go. You cannot go wrong here. The picture is only half of the food as me and my his got the dinner for 2 and he had a huge plate of noodles and steak and veggies and shrimp and lobster. This is easily 3 meals.

We had a wonderful time here. They accommodated our party of 11 even though they were closing soon. The food was excellent and the portions were huge! The hibachi chef was great, and our server was excellent. The whole staff was very helpful and friendly. Thank you.

If you love Korean corn dogs you have to stop here! I come by here to study sometimes because the atmosphere is quiet and it’s a cute shop. The workers here are extremely friendly and welcoming and I’ve never had a bad experience coming here. If you’re a fan of taro milk tea I would definitely recommend coming here. Their tapioca is perfectly soft and not overly chewy.

Wednesday evening was our first time visiting this local sandwich shop since a co-worker recommended it. We ordered our food using 1 of the 2 quick order kiosks. We ordered 2 shredded chicken croissants without the sauce, 1 Thai tea 25% sweetness, 1 Taro tea 25% sweetness, and egg rolls. It was really busy (about 20 people already in the restaurant waiting for their food when we walked in), and more people were coming in, so service was expectedly slow. It took about 20 minutes for the egg rolls to be ready, and that was provided first (my husband was confused since he thought the rest of the order was forgotten, but unlike other restaurants' take out, Paris Banh Mi will sporadically give you what's ready from the order and not the whole order all at once). The teas and croissant sandwiches were ready after another 15 or so minutes. The order was correct, and the egg rolls were excellent. The sandwiches were a bit on the oily side for us (maybe it's the butter?), so it wasn't as enjoyable as it could've been. I liked my taro tea, but my husband said that his Thai tea tasted watered down compared to my tea. Not sure we'll have the sandwiches again. Might be back for more of the delicious egg rolls 👏 Hope they can figure out a more efficient way to handle takeout orders since giving people parts of their orders can be confusing and while we were there, others were also mystified at first when only their drinks or appetizers were given to them without the cashier saying it was only part of an order. Side note: parking here is very limited during dinnertime and I suggest walking here vs. driving. Also, during our visit, there was only 1 cashier taking / handing out orders so it wasn't enough staff to handle that amount of people. We felt bad for the person since they also seemed frazzled. Thankfully, there were 2 other employees that walked in just as we were getting the last parts of our order so maybe the short staff issue was just our luck that visit.

Our party of 5 which included a child under 5 had a great experience. We were greeted and sat immediately. The chef was very interactive and the food was perfect.

Birthday Dinner & A Show We had a large party to celebrate a birthday. Dinner was excellent. Chef Tommy delivered not only a delicious meal but a wonderful show! Our party varied in ages and everyone enjoyed the show. We had some of everything and plenty of it filet mignon, chicken, shrimp, scallops, salmon, veggies, noodles and rice. This was my first time and I very much enjoyed it and will be back. For large parties some advice Yamato will not seat you until every guest has arrived. Thank You for a wonderful dinner for our family and friends.

Kalbi was pretty darn good. Staff are fast and friendly. Figured I’d post the menu too for those of you who’d like to see. My only gripe with Momo is that sometimes their ice water tastes like butt. Otherwise, great lil place to get some Korean, sushi, and banchan. Go get you some!

I am Korean. While traveling by car from Georgia to Miami, I Googled a Korean restaurant and visited it. 1. To Koreans It's completely Americanized fake Korean food. It's so sweet and laced with sugar that it will spike your blood sugar. No Kimchi, no side dishes. 2. For non-Koreans Korean food is very healthy and is famous for its wide selection of Kimchi and other free side dishes. This restaurant claims to be a Korean restaurant, but they don't serve any side dishes or even kimchi. And too much sugar is harming the reputation of Korean food, which is famous for being healthy. 3. Overall evaluation First, if this is your first Korean food, don't ever think those are Korean food. Korean food is completely different. Go to any Korea town in Duluth GA and try any food there. And then you understand why I am so upset. Second, the price is very expensive. The grilled ribs are $24. This is a really expensive and too little food for the price. Third, the quality of food also has an issue. My ribs weren't even grilled properly. Look at the picture. Fourth, Momoyaki is a Japanese restaurant name. They say it's a Korean restaurant, but even the name isn't Korean. 4. To the owner I believe you are Korean, so I would like to ask that you serve authentic Korean food with pride. I give this place 2 stars because of the friendliness of the staff. Without them, definitely 1 start.

Didn’t expect to find such high quality food in a college town! Blue fin o-toro, uni, Fargo salmon, truffle…. Menu is innovative with a wide range of flavors. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Ambience is posh and inviting. Chu chu lobster, uni bomb, sweet 16 and crispy bok choy are some of my favorites. Loved this restaurant so much that after Thursday’s dinner, we returned on Saturday for lunch. If you are in Gainesville and you love Japanese food, Arashi Yama is place not to be missed!

The presentation of the hamachi toro was so beautiful and tasted wonderful. The best fish I’ve had in Gainesville by far. Don’t waste your time downtown. From the silverware and plating to the beautiful fish lanterns, we enjoy this spot very much. 10/10 recommend for date night or family night!

All the food was delicious, it is an exquisite experience, the only one in Gainesville, I recommend it 100%

Never had Peruvian food before and we saw this place and wanted to give it a try. The whole vibe is welcoming and comforting. You can tell it’s a mom and pop restaurant. The lady at the front was super nice and gave us free samples of the Chicha Morada drink; which, btw was delicious. My boyfriend ordered Pollo a la Brasa quarter chicken and I ordered tamales and tres leches. Something on the lighter side for us. Pollo was flavorful, fragrant and had a smoky finish. The homemade sauces were really good too but I didn’t know their names. Tamales reminded me of the ones that my old coworker made for me. Also flavorful and it was moist. Juicy, not dry at all. All in all, this whole lunch we had was made with love. Like going to your grandma’s for lunch. You have to be mindful that other cultures have different views on portions and plating. You can’t come in here expecting American portions. You’re spoiled for that. I’ve read some of the reviews here and it seems people just wanted to complain just to complain. Give this restaurant a try before making assumptions.

I WOULD NOT recommend coming here. I thought they have high reviews and the atmosphere/service is friendly, but it is NOT good. The pork bun we ordered was overly sauced. All you could taste is the sauce and nothing else. The Okonomiyaki is kinda the best from the entire order. The takoyaki is alright. Only one small piece of octopus and all batter. The ramen broth lack flavor and pork has good char, but noflavor. The sushi was DISAPPOINTING. The texture of the sushi is rubbery, dry, and fishy. The yellowtail was extra fishy! The manager told the waitress that they get fresh sushi every 2 days, but it’s tasted super bad. We ate half of what we ordered and she ended up giving us 10% off from every sushi we ordered, even tho we didn’t eat HALF of the sushi. I usually will eat all of the sushi even if it’s not that good, but NOT this one. Also, their “Kinya Roll” is the worse. There’s salmon, tuna, tobiko, tempura shrimp, avocados, and two different sauces is too much going on. Just horrible. I love the waitress, she’s super nice and friendly. I love the decor, but the food is not it.

Kinya Ramen never fails. Fresh, well cooked, well prepared, well presented, and hot. Love treating myself to their ramen, goyza and spring rolls. This time we shared their Ocean Dream Roll, again superbly made and tasty! Service was friendly and professional. Excellent!

The food is EXCELLENT!! Teriyaki chicken was fresh, and good size portion for the cost. The sushi was fresh, and tasted amazing!! Also I got 2 rolls for under $12 that I usually get at Bento and are $12 EACH!! I’m obsessed with this place! The customer service was also great and my food was packed very well with all the condiments I requested!!

Friendly service and delicious. A work catering introduced me to them and now the second time its just as good. I love that the price is amazing and the dishes are simple yet full of flavor you’d come to expect from good teriyaki. 10/10 sauce
