This place is seriously underrated. The pork fried rice is amazing. The other options are very tasty as well. The owners are such nice and friendly people. The orders are always ready quickly and the prices are fair. 5 stars.

I was in the mood for Chinese food and the recent 5-star reviews made me want to give this place a try. Those reviews were not misleading. After eating my pork-fried rice, I am glad that I chose to go there. I will probably make this place my preferred Chinese food restaurant.

Very distrustful people. I went to do in store order they give me someone else food. The manager ask me to come back drop my food and pick up my order. I explained I was drop of by my daughter and I was not able to go back there. They told me that was not her problem that she will give me something free but I have to go back and return the food and pick mine. They keep my money and I didnt eat the food. Beside the manager hang up the phone. After I pay she was even said “ that was fast” my order came out after I pay! Common sense if I just pay and you are telling me that was fast at least she should take the time and made sure she was giving me the correct food. Very disappointed I came from work to buy my food. Came home without, I’m very upset and instead to find a solution she is being rude asking me to go and pick up that she will give me free food. That the order that they give me is more expensive than the one I order…

The owner or whoever the Chinese man is that I spoke with is very rude and insinuated that I did not know what I should like to eat after an obvious error was made on their end when I called in my take out order. I have waited 45 minutes for a replacement. He told me that he wants the mistaken order back, no problem! I call back and he hollers about everything, telling me he is very busy. I used to order very often from here, not only as a cash customer, but also using Uber Eats, but moving forward, I'll use another local and see if they value their customers. Very disappointed ☹️ Btw, I ordered the food at 5 pm and it is now almost 7pm. I'm so done with Original Number One because of nasty customer service.

Been ordering from this place for years but lately they are messing up my orders when delivered. I called to complain and their solution was to let them know next time I order they will supply food that was missing. I stated no and told them I payed for it and they should be able to delivery when I originally asked for it. They said they will deliver and I asked them to included extra food which I will pay for but yet they wanted to charge me another delivery fee. I refused because they were going to bring food that was missing from my order. Not only I asked to speak to a manager/supervisor but they hung up on me two times. Me being so upset I decided to go pick up the food in the rain. When I get to the place food wasn’t even ready and no manager to speak to. Apparently when you place order on phone it’s thru a call center. Very hard to believe. This will be the last time I order from here. Very upset because food is really good but customer service is declining and very unprofessional. If you’re running a business I think they should check to make sure order is complete to avoid any complaints.

Extremely disappointed. Ordered for the first time tonight and spent $50 . Delivery was fast , but the rice was completely undercooked, it was so hard we couldn’t eat it & we were put on hold after we called back and told them , hung up and called again and were put on hold for 5+ minutes again almost like they were avoiding the problem . Also ordered boneless spare ribs and theyr absolutely disgusting . The wings were ok

This is a standard Chinese takeout place with standard prices. I have ordered a few different things over three visits: Chicken and broccoli, Hunan chicken, pepper, steak and onion. All three were tasteless. You really couldn't tell the dishes apart. They were all equally bland. Under $10 they charge you $0.50 for a credit card FYI.

I ordered and the guy just sat in the car.. I had to go down to the car to get the food and he got a nice tip.. I was so confused.. don't they do door to door anymore .. this problem was rectified once I spoke to manager ..the food is mostly excellent. Give them a try... way better than the one in montclair on grove both are good but Golden Harvest is waaay better..

I don't know why this place has low scores on the review. I am writing this one while warming up the fried rice to eat. I ordered 2 trays of chicken fried rice and beef lo mien for my child birthday party last Saturday. I chose this restaurant because it is only 10 mins from my house. They gave me 2 big trays of food. Both are tasty and good, not salty (maybe I requested them less sodium lol). One thing I don't like is that they ask you to pay by cash. Even they have an ATM inside but it is not convenient if you use credit cards only.

The food is always messed up no matter what I order the delivery guys are rude and don’t get out the vehicle the drivers over charge you so they can get a tip so the store will tell you one price the drives will add $5 to the price WILL NEVER RETURN MY SERVICES THERE FRIES ARE HARD AS A BRICK

Friendly service and the food was fresh and priced accordingly. It wasn’t greasy. The wontons in the soup were a little hard. The beef a little salty, but for a place in the Ironbound, it’s ok. Chinese food seems to be much better in the nicer neighborhoods…. But if I’m craving it, and don’t want to drive, this will do.

My favorite thing to order here is the house special fried rice. They have good food at a good price. Also the delivery is fast and its the only spot I trust.

Me and my sister ordered takeout from here during our stop in NJ (during our travel trip) and we ordered the chicken fried rice and crab rangoon. Both were tasty but I noticed that the chicken fried rice barely had any chicken in it, most of the chicken was at the top so nearly none in the middle or at the bottom (my sister loved the chicken fried rice and had no complaints), but the crab rangoon, we both noticed, barely had any of the filling in it, so much so that the part with the filling could be eaten in one bite per pastry piece. We ended up throwing most of it away. I’ve attached a picture of just some of the breading we threw away because it didn’t have ANY filling in it.

DUDE!! I KID YOU NOT, THIS IS THE BEST CHINESE FOOD I EVER HAD! I wish I had a place like this next to my house. Ordered takeouts -- spare ribs large, beef and broccoli large, and spring rolls. At like 2 in the morning. This is amazing!

Really good Chinese food. Keep in mind they don't accept door dash orders even though their website says they do and door dash allows you to order through their site. Other than that little issue, the shrimp with broccoli was delicious, the chicken wings were crispy and juicy, including the egg roll that didn't make it to the photo.

I just called for their all day special and asked they include Tatar sauce. I was put on hold for 5 mins so worker could ask the chef if tartar sauce is included in my order. My ordered included fried scallops. I hung up because the fact they have to debate on a sauce which should come standard. Call me back to tell me the order doesn’t include sauce and would be an extra charge! No way in hell I’m paying for tartar sauce which should come standard since my food includes scallops! Never again! Spend my money else where. Cheap asses and every five minutes they increasing their food prices and only take cash! Yall avoiding taxes and taking profits in and cant include a damn tartar sauce?

WORST CHINESE FOOD EVERRR! Not only did they get my order incorrect, after i asked for confirmation it was correct at the store, THERE WAS HAIR IN MY FOOD!!!! Disgusting and uncleanly, i requested to simply have my food redone correctly, and the employed stayed they couldn't refund me and i would have to pay for yet another order. He continued trying to call me baby over the phone as i continued to request his name and manager. Disgusting service. I JUST WANTED MY BONELESS RIB TIPS!!! Please please stay away if you have any morals. Keep your children away from these nasty people.

Plastic liquid gel in my food I am disgusted do not go to this store. I’m reporting it to the board of health because why is this inside my food. Lady who answered the phone refused to give me my money back and told me “next time go somewhere else” all I did was ask to speak to a manager and she said they weren’t available and asked me what happened. I explained and asked for my money back she laughed very unprofessional. I got my order right before they closed at 11:59 so I could call till the next morning because they had already stopped answering the phones. First and last time hopefully this place gets shut down soon.

Crab sticks are made from flour . Compare their crab sticks to others crab sticks it’s made from flour. painted with red coloring it’s really not good at all. Taste like doug!!🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Everything I ordered from them be good... My main thing is chicken wings w/ broccoli and brown sauce. Love that their grease always be fresh, so my chicken don't be old looking. Also, the fact I can get delivery... Been eating from here since Howard Street projects been up ❤️❤️❤️❤️.
