Very distrustful people. I went to do in store order they give me someone else food. The manager ask me to come back drop my food and pick up my order. I explained I was drop of by my daughter and I was not able to go back there. They told me that was not her problem that she will give me something free but I have to go back and return the food and pick mine. They keep my money and I didnt eat the food. Beside the manager hang up the phone. After I pay she was even said “ that was fast” my order came out after I pay! Common sense if I just pay and you are telling me that was fast at least she should take the time and made sure she was giving me the correct food. Very disappointed I came from work to buy my food. Came home without, I’m very upset and instead to find a solution she is being rude asking me to go and pick up that she will give me free food. That the order that they give me is more expensive than the one I order…
The owner or whoever the Chinese man is that I spoke with is very rude and insinuated that I did not know what I should like to eat after an obvious error was made on their end when I called in my take out order. I have waited 45 minutes for a replacement. He told me that he wants the mistaken order back, no problem! I call back and he hollers about everything, telling me he is very busy. I used to order very often from here, not only as a cash customer, but also using Uber Eats, but moving forward, I'll use another local and see if they value their customers. Very disappointed ☹️ Btw, I ordered the food at 5 pm and it is now almost 7pm. I'm so done with Original Number One because of nasty customer service.
As a native New Yorker, I was excited to discover a Chinese restaurant in New Jersey that brought back memories of home. Today's visit left me with a different perspective on the establishment. While picking up my order, I casually remarked to the cashier, "I remember when chicken wings and French fries were $2.50." To my dismay, he responded sarcastically, "Sorry, I wasn't born then," and repeated it with a serious demeanor. Although I laughed it off, his tone was unprofessional and off-putting. The food is acceptable—decent for a quick meal. However, the cashier's rudeness overshadowed the experience. As a Boss, I understand the critical importance of professionalism in all interactions. Employees are a direct reflection of the business, and there's a standard of service that must be upheld. Regrettably, this visit fell short of those expectations. As an customer I understand matching energy but there was no reason for shade I was stating it in conversation. I'm sure they have a mix bag of customers with different personalities. A little kindness and good vibes goes a long way.
I've been a regular customer of this restaurant. Tonight, my Uber Eats order was delivered to the wrong address due to a driver error. Despite the driver's willingness to wait for a remake, the restaurant unfairly refused to accommodate me." If something go wrong , they will blame the customer. I have pictures of loyalty I had to this restaurant.
The restaurant manager is exceptional—quick, efficient, and focused on getting the job done without any delays, all while delivering outstanding customer service. Plus, the food is delicious!
