Pacific Seas Restaurant
This is the place to go for any polynesian cooked food. Food are delicious and its very affordable . Come hungry and don't forget to try out their OTAI mango drinks
Stopped in for lunch. Polynesian daily or street food. Service was friendly and portions were large. I tried the Kale Moa, Saudi Moa, pork chop, and sweetened potatoes. Food was good but tithing really stood out to me.
Seafood Bucket Cajun Style Seafood Restaurant
For a fairly new business, they really deliver! Good variety of sashimi, sushi and other Asian food offerings. The best deal in SLC for all you can eat sushi buffet!
Willyum and I are So. Salt Lake locals and couldn’t believe we hadn’t tried this seafood joint yet! I’ve been dying to try a bib and bucket seafood place my whole life! It did not disappoint. This sounds made up, but I literally overheard one of the customers tell the waiter, “This is the best sea food I’ve ever had. Seriously man.” To which the waiter stood there awkwardly and probably said something I couldn’t hear. Beautiful human experience. Anyway, I haven’t had much sea food to compare it to, but it was good! We each got the $15.99 seafood bucket special. It was a great deal! We both got the bucket flavor which is just all the flavors combined. Willyum got spicy and I got medium. They seemed the same spice level which wasn’t very spicy. The snow crab, shrimp potatoes and corn were all really yummy. It was my first time trying mussels and they alright. A little fishy. We got the mango boba and it was mid or below. The only change I’d like to see is some good music playing! The music was so quiet. I think it would enhance the ambience. Overall the food and service were amazing for the price!
Sweet Teriyaki
This local restaurant has earned a reputation for its warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff and owners create a welcoming environment, always ready with a smile. Generous portions and reasonable prices make it an excellent value. It's a delightful place to enjoy a meal and experience true hospitality.
I absolutely love this place! I’ve been going here for years and I absolutely love the new owners! Seriously the sweetest woman!!! The food is always great! I’m never disappointed. They keep adding new things to the menu and it’s so nice!
Sushi House and Asian Cuisine
If you’re in the mood for sushi this is a great place for a quick lunch. The rolls are pretty good and there are a lot to choose from. The other dishes are standard mall food court fare- a little bland and nothing special. I would stick to the sushi instead.
The food is amazing every time. They are very accommodating with picky kids and are always so welcoming when we go. The last time we went we switched it up and got the meso soup and it was delicious my picky eater ate it all even the juice
Wild Ginger Asian Cuisine
Service was great and friendly. Food was good. The fried rice that comes with dishes is more of a soy sauce fried rice. I enjoyed it. Sweet and sour chicken was amazing. We don’t care for the hot and sour soup though. Stick to the egg drop soup.
Ordered here thru uber eats and had it delivered. I ordered a bento with walnut chicken and paid extra for shrimp. Instead, of giving me some walnut shrimp they gave me boiled shrimp and put it in my fried rice that zero veggies or ham. The tempura veggies were only potatoes. Egg drop soup was good but nothing special and I did like the gyoza but it was all pretty meh. I also ordered the cheese rangoons and they were completely dried out and barely any cream cheese. Panda is better than this.
Paik's Noodle / HongKong Banjum 0410
Went here for lunch and ordered a variety of items to try and take home to eat later. The black bean noodles with seafood is the best item we got and what they are more known for. The peppered beef was OK and makes a great fried rice as leftovers. We got two different chicken dishes with the pieces one being the best and would not recommend the chicken wings though. It was not too busy and food came quickly. Recommend the noodle dishes if you want to give this place a try.
Basically everything tastes great, but you have to order the fried pork. Literally so good. The staff was super super friendly, and the food came out in like 5 minutes. If I could I would eat here every time we visit Utah.
New Little Saigon 2
This is a hidden gem! It really doesn’t look like much outside, I was kind of hesitant. But it’s rated well so I thought I’d give it a try. Oh my gosh, it’s excellent! They were playing an informational video on how food is made in Vietnam that was fun. I had the vermicelli, and it was *so good*- the noodles were hot, the sauce was sweet and peanut-y, and there were lots of vegetables! My friend had the lo mien and hers was excellent as well. Clean and nice inside, the owner was courteous and smiling, wanted to make sure the food was to our satisfaction. Great place!
The restaurant was freezing. They have nice TVs and good seating. But the cold was so uncomfortable. The cucumber on my plate was starting to go bad. And all soggy and floppy. The rice was hard chewy. The crispy shrimp was all batter and very thin shrimp.
Gosu Korean BBQ & Shabu Shabu
Lots of KBBQ to choose from in SLC. We only usually pick AYCE because you can’t beat the price point. This one was my favorite so far. The meat was super fresh and we always have to get an order of bulgogi as a baseline. The bulgogi marinade was perfect because: 1.) it wasn’t saturated or overly sweet and keeping it marinated causes the meat to get super mealy. They just placed the marinade over the fresh meat, which was super smart! 2.) the dressing was a perfectly balanced ratio of ginger, onion, and garlic. Also they loaded up on the black pepper which I love. We ordered the beef belly, super fatty, and fresh. The galbi was pretty good too. The kimchi was EXCELLENT. Cucumber and banchan assortment was the best because you can pick and choose whichever instead of the fixed staples you find elsewhere. The fact that our lunch was all you can eat for 24$ for all that amazing flavor, I mean come on. The service was perfectly timed, not too much waiting. Our guy was efficient and super friendly. This menu came with a cute rice option, get the kimchi rice and egg - comes in a tin, just like your mom made if she were Korean and actually loved you.
I've been to 6 states and 7 countries in the last 12 months. This is by far the best meal I've had in terms of variety and value for money. The staff were lovely and didn't rush you at all, were very attentive and ensured you got the most of your 90 minutes slot. The home made sauces were lovely. The bulgogi beef was a personal favorite. Will be returning before my trip ends!
Vientiane Market
Nice market my friend brought me here for lunch. My first time here and it was a great experience. Their Pho is the best I’ve tasted served hot & fresh had beef and sausages, pho left a refreshing feeling in my mouth. Also ordered the Beef & Shrimp fried rice it was amazing! I will definitely start coming here from now on.
The best thing is how piping hot it was when I got it, seriously i love when my food is super hot, for getting it delivered from Grubhub and I stay about 15 min away I’m viet so I appreciated them so much for giving me nuc mam (for the eggroll) and chili oil!! The portions and the flavor, amazing I can add my own protein it’s no problem just the sauce 😭 also there were no greens to it I love my greens and from other pictures.. 😭 Picture doesn’t show it justice, there were a lot of noodles and little beef, they put a little beef on the top and I thought there would be more in the middle or at the bottom but just a lot of noodles, I’ve ordered here before and I know they give little meat so I asked for extra sauce to make up for it, i really don’t know if they did But the flavor was there, i just couldn’t get over the slight dryness of just eating noodles The beef was discolored to my liking, tasted fine but I’m willing to try other options
Osaka Japan
What is expected at a Mall food court. Expensive food, mall atmosphere and a chow line. Food was ok, filled me up with no regrets. Service was non existent, give order, they give you a bag to fill up with forks, napkins and your food. They do offer extra scoops of teriyaki sauce if you want. And you go seat yourself and clean up after yourself. They do expect a tip for no service #notipfornoservice .
Food at this location has been great every time I go here. I gave 4 stars on service because the cashier didn't give me my receipt and stared at me and my baby as soon as I walked in the building. The gentleman making the food was kind and happy and efficient and my food was cooked properly. Although I still had vegetables on my plate even though I told the cashier I didn't want any vegetables. Other than that I would recommend and try again!
Ekamai Thai
This place is like having dinner at a family members house. They were so attentive to every movement we made. The food was amazing. The staff was so kind. I would absolutely recommend this to everyone. It's small and quaint. I will absolutely be back.
I am Thai people and I would like to confirm that these taste really close to authentic Thai food. If you like spicy foods, you can request spicy level 5. Moreover, desserts are the modern Thai dessert that are deconstructed all ingredients to western style.
Samurai Noodle
Great noodle spot! I absolutely love the atmosphere, food, and service at this spot! I highly recommend getting the spicy Ramen soup and edamame. There was a delightfully, ridiculous food drama on the TV and the decorations are just so much fun. The noodles are handmade in house and everything was wonderful. Definitely worth a visit!
Some of the best ramen in town! I recommend they take some of the awards down or get smaller photos, can be a little distracting.
