Vietopia Bistro
I usually like this place but I went in today and it was subpar. First off there was NO HAND SOAP!! how are the cooks washing their hands? The guy working there said he “was getting soap tomorrow.” Not okay. Next we order the bahn mi….the bread was crumbly and stale..even after I returned the first one the second one was the same. Barely any meat in it. Also not okay. Get it together.
Three of us came in for lunch. It took forever for us to get food, and there was only one other table sat in the restaurant. The bowls were all chipped up. The meat is sliced very thick and didn’t get cooked very well in the broth. Basil was wilted, and the bean sprouts were not fresh. Pho wasn’t that good. The atmosphere was cold and had a very loud machine sound.

I have been here twice now and I have ordered the curry coconut bowl both times and it’s delicious! It’s fresh and so flavorful. I would love to try the cilantro chicken bowl sometime because that one looks good too.
Wow, totally blown awake. We had the seafood bowls. The rainbow bowl and the mango tango, AMAZING. I’m not even a huge poke guy, but man these were so good and healthy. We were just trying out a new place and we loved it. Will definitely be back!!
Chuck-A-Rama
I’ve heard lots of bad stories and experiences with Chuka-A-Rama buffet and I must say I was pleasantly surprised! The total cost for 2 adults on a Friday night was just under $40. This includes their special food which changes daily, access to the standard salad bar and buffet food, drinks, icees, ice cream and loads of desert options! You get to seat yourself which I actually really like and they still have waiters and servers who get you drinks and take your dirty plates! The service I must say was very nice. Everyone seemed happy to be at work and gave off good energy. The food was cooked very well and I had no complaints aside from trying foods I thought I wouldn’t like anyways. The seafood night was delicious. Yummy battered and deep fried fish. Yummy crispy battered prawns with some fries and fry sauce! All in all a great experience with delicious food all at a good budget for a date night! Also great for families. Love the festive decorations put into the restaurant as well!
Had to eat here just because the name made me laugh - ended up pleasantly surprised with the food. They had a great selection, and everything tasted pretty good. Lots of big groups of people.
Red Basil
First time here, and I really liked it! Was craving Thai food, and this restaurant was nearby in West Jordan. Ordered the Prad kaprow with ground pork and fried egg, Panang curry with chicken, hot Chrysanthemum tea (perfect for a cold night), and mango sticky rice for dessert. The flavors were authentic, and the staff was really nice and attentive. The mango sticky rice was really good, but a tad too sweet. Will definitely return to try other items on the menu.
The best part about this place is the ambiance and it’s family owned! But the price point didn’t match the portions and quality of food. Most Thai restaurants give you good sized portions for the meal you get. Also they charge extra for extra rice when they don’t even give enough in the first place so that is quite frustrating. I’ve never been to a Thai restaurant that charges more for extra rice. The chicken kabobs were $12 and probably only amounted to half a chicken breast. The food was good but not great and I’ve been to plenty of Thai places that did it better. I probably won’t be coming back to this one unfortunately.
Oh Mai South Jordan
We arrived there Monday afternoon around 2 pm, and it was not busy at all. Ordered Pho, and we were served in minutes. The broth was savory and tasted pretty good! Accompanying vegetables and herbs were fresh. I would definitely return to try other dishes when I am back in the area.
We went here for a quick vietnamese foods. The pho was very salty. Vermicelli noodles was undercooked, but the banh mi was good. We were disappointed that the price we paid doesn't match the price on the menu. Its either we are Over charged or they need to update their menu board.
Oh Mai Draper
We were hungry and tired, wanted to have something light. Oh mai was a good choice they had some good sandwich and pho options . Sandwiches are good but pho was disappointing. It’s not cozy but clean and simple. The one thing i did not like was, you have before you get your order, and the cashier avoided giving me the itemized receipt.
Excellent food at a good price. It's more of a takeout setting where you order at the cashiers and then find a table to eat if you want to stay. The staff was very polite and kind. Highly recommend the soup. The broth wasn't too salty and very flavorful.
Montauk Bistro
Absolutely love this place. I work across the street and we decided to give it a shot and WOW. The food was literally as as fresh as you can get it. They grow their own herbs and veggies and you can literally taste it (SOOO GOOD!). The experience was very cool. The owner was super nice and gave us great service! You can tell she puts nothing but love into her food. Overall glad we gave this place a shot. I'll definitely be coming back!
Fresh food and amazing service. Our table got pad Thai, Massaman curry, and panang curry. All were amazing but the Panang curry and pad Thai were our favorites. Would recommend this place if you want a healthier lighter meal.
Red 88 Asian Bistro & Sushi
This is my second time eating here and I’m still very pleased with the atmosphere and service. The food is soooo good, each dish has its own distinct flavor. I went once with my mom and this time I went with my parents for Valentine’s Day. The server was very attentive and helpful. We changed to a new booth a few times and he was understanding. The menu has a lot of variety, I loved going in for happy hour! So many good deals! The sushi is superb. This will probably be my go-to spot for many years. I can’t wait to try many of the dishes on the menu. Also I liked watching the cooking videos on the tv lol.
For the first time we passed here, it was a wonderful surprise. The place was according to what we expected. The attention was wonderful. The meal was a heavenly feast and the presentation was extraordinary.
In-N-Out Burger
I recently visited the In-N-Out in Draper on a Saturday night, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed by my experience. Despite the busy weekend rush, I only had to wait about 10 minutes in the drive-through, which is incredibly quick for a Saturday evening! It's always a gamble going out to eat on a weekend, but this location exceeded my expectations in terms of speed. What truly stood out during my visit was that my order was executed perfectly. I requested my burger to be wrapped in lettuce and tomatoes, and to my delight, they got it right! This attention to detail is something that has often been lacking at other In-N-Out locations I've visited in the past. It can be frustrating when orders are incorrect, but this time, everything was spot on. The burger was delicious, fresh, and packed with flavor. The combination of the crisp lettuce and juicy tomatoes made it a refreshing option. I appreciate how In-N-Out consistently delivers quality food, but this particular visit really highlighted their commitment to customer satisfaction. Overall, my experience at the Draper location was a delightful reminder of why In-N-Out is such a beloved fast-food chain. With great speed, accuracy, and of course, tasty food, this location has certainly earned my loyalty. I’ll definitely be back for more!
In-N-Out is keeping our keto streak going strong! It's nice to order just the burger patties lettuce wrapped and the kids are happy with burgers and fries! This time we ordered the Flying Dutchman and enjoyed the grilled onions. The restaurant was busy and we waited for a seat. The staff were great especially Paxton!
Saffron Valley - South Jordan
I have ordered and had the Indian Railway Omelette a couple times now which happens to be my favorite breakfast or dinner these days. That omelette tastes great! The ladies that work there are very polite and respectful.
I've been missing Saffron Valley ALL MY LIFE. I'm speechless and my tummy is full of their delicious food. I enjoyed their 10-star buffet (a 5 is TOO low of a rating) and the service was wonderful. The manager asked us how the food tasted and the buffet setup reflected so many colorful curries and entrees. Gopher was a server and he had such a big smile and was personable everytimee he interacted with us. The sauces, the spices, everything was perfect! I've always searched for a high quality Indian restaurant locally and I trusted the other five-star reviewers and I'm glad I did. It was phenomenal.
Dee Garden Thai Kitchen
Steel was our server and she was very attentive and helpful. The food was very good. Was got spring rolls, egg rolls, papaya salad and bbq pork.
The food at Dee Garden is GOD TIER. If you like tofu as your protein and you’re sick of being served flavorless tofu or huge chunks with no texture - look no further. They blow everyone out of the water with flavor and preparation. I am not vegan or vegetarian, but they asked if I wanted egg in the fried rice when I ordered tofu. Huge if you’re vegan, as they clearly take that into account. I just love the owner, she’s so sweet, and their food is amazing. If you like Thai food as much as I do, you will be obsessed with this place.
One Noodle Bar - West Jordan
Got the ‘Rich Rich’ ramen and it was okay but my noodles were undercooked and I was a bit sick the next day. It was just my husband and I in the whole restaurant so we got our food pretty quickly. We got calamari and pork buns for our appetizers and the buns were soooo good that we ordered a second plate of them ! The calamari was inedible, however, and there was some sort of plastic band in each of them. I love calamari and this was something I didn’t feel comfortable even feeding my chickens. We each ate one piece and didn’t touch it the rest of the meal.. Can’t remember what ramen my husband ordered but he liked it and would try something else when we go again. The food was okay overall but I wish they still did the poké.
My boyfriend is a ramen enthusiast, and we try ramen wherever we go. The flavors here are quite standard—not particularly impressive, but not bad either. The original tonkotsu ramen is still the most recommended option.
