Kung Fu Noodle

We went here on a whim because we passed by it all the time. It was very busy when we went and we had to wait probably less than 10 minutes we got seated and we did take a minute to look over the menu, the menu isn’t big, but I just didn’t know what sounded good. They’re known for their dumplings so we got the pork and chive dumplings. You get 20 dumplings for $10. We also got the veggie spring rolls which you get six for like four dollars those were amazing as well and then we each got an entrée. I got the beef bowl with the broth and my husband got the dry noodles with no meat we ended up switching because I liked his butter, but the beef broth was still really good. All in all we spent about $30 which was totally reasonably priced. Everything came out in a timely manner as well. 10/10 would come again and recommend!!

I had a hankering for some excellent noodles and came here after a friend's recommendation. The noodles are excellent, but the real reason to come is for the divine dumplings. We got the beef and noodles and pork and noodles. I'd say go with the pork. Soooo good! For spice level, you can order on a scale from 1 to 5. 3 isn't bad, but 4 ratchets up the heat. Ideally, they could go 3.5. But seriously, come for the dumplings. The dumplings are why I'll come back. It's an assuming place and easy to miss when driving in. Pay close attention or you'll drive right by.

This was the first time we've eaten there. They do have very quick service. Staff is very friendly and attentive. But the food, at least the dish we had, was subpar. It's nothing that we'd have to go back. It was good, but not fantastic. Maybe if we go back, we'll have to try the chef specials. We were looking for a dish to share, nothing heavy that we could split between us.

Had a nice, casual dinner on a Friday night with my girlfriend. The atmosphere was great and the food was very delicious. Our waiter was also cool as he asked me if I was Filipino.

Ming's at Midtown

This place is awesome, first the food is spectacular. You’re going to get really unique dishes, well balanced and fresh. The Sloopy fries are amazing, never had anything like that. Teriyaki bowl, crispy chicken was perfect, salty and great glaze with solid sticky rice. Miso soup was fantastic, and we got the Cubano buns, perfect amount of pickle and the steamed bun was fantastic. Also the manager welcomed everyone in as the entered, brought menus out to people who had sat outside as they sat and even brought their golden retriever a bowl of water, that’s great service

Nice little hipster joint for whenever you want to impress that art ho baddie you picked up at SAC without breaking your wallet. The sense of pompous snobbery is ever present as evident by the patrons that routinely transit this place. Excellent food and pricing is just right. If you're good fighting or are packing stainless steel, go ahead and park underneath the expressway and wait until the local pack of Venezuelans transients start harassing you for money - always a good opportunity to impress your girl as long as you play your cards right.

Hadn't been in years nothing beats this beautiful atmosphere. Still a great place visually. Had the sweet n sour shrimp sp good big shrimp, grate portions. Orange Chicken cooked to perfection. Definitely a must!

My wife and I stopped for lunch in between appointments. The hostess messed up my name which is hard to do since I spelled it twice for her.🙄 so when they called Eric we thought it was someone else. After seeing several people get seated that had come in after us I asked what was going on. The hostess acted like it was my fault. So no stars on the front end service. But our waitress was fabulous 5 stars and above. Since the ordeal getting seated had run us late and we had another appointment to get to we ordered the lunch specials. The eggdrop soup was middle of the road at best and the crispy noodles we ordered were dripping with grease, yuk! Worst iI have ever recieved at a restaurant!! The egg rolls and rice were good but nothing exceptional. My wife said her lemon chicken was really good though. My sweet and sour pork wasn't the worst but far from the best. The large chunks of pork were not tender and had to be cut into two or three pieces each. The sweet and sour sauce was some of the worst I have had, all sauce with almost no veggies/fruit. So while the food didn't kill us it didn't impress us either. This restaurant use to be exceptional when we would come into San Antonio, many years ago, but now it's just average at best. I know we won't be returning. Like i said the waitress was the only redeeming part of our meal.

They have a drive thru and it doesn't even take long to get your food. Food was quick and tasty. The egg drop soup was my favorite. Ordered the sweet n sour chicken and it does look more like lemon chicken but it was still good

I found my go to Chinese spot! The owners are nice, and they serve big portions at a good price. My favorite thing is the sesame chicken. I know someone reviewed it before, but it isn’t THAT spicy. It’s like mixed with chili oil, has as much of a kick as a black pepper corn. Super weird to tell a restaurant how their dish ought to be made. Other than that, almond chicken is great, and chicken fried rice is awesome.

Family of 5. Came here for dinner Saturday night. Seated right away. Ordered Orange Chicken, pad thai, egg rolls, cheese Rangoon (no crab in them) and a generals chicken. Orange chicken and generals were decent. Fried rice was bland and my son said he liked another fast food place’s better. The pad Thai was VERY bland. We had to add our own spice to it. But to my shock they added a 20% gratuity to our table of 5. Service was lacking. We had to hunt down our server for everything…apps came out with main food. I had to add spice. We probably won’t be back again.

Wow, what a hidden gem! This Chinese restaurant is an absolute delight. The food is incredibly delicious, with generous portions that will leave you feeling satisfied but not stuffed. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with friendly staff who make you feel like family. And the best part? The prices are very reasonable! I've never had a better value for my money at a restaurant. The combination of fantastic food, lovely atmosphere, and affordable prices makes this place a must-visit for anyone who loves Chinese cuisine. Five stars and a big thumbs up from me !!!

First time dining here. Beautiful place. Immaculate clean. Everyone was so welcoming. Everyone checks on you even if they are not your server. I had the Orange Chicken, so moist and big pieces. The rice was ok but the Egg Roll maybe the best I've ever had. My friend had the beef mushroom. He said it was good. The servings were plentiful. The tea was so good. They are constantly refilling your drink I love that! Egg drop n wonton soup so yummy. Definite MUST!

I haven't been here for over 12 years, but we decided to stop in yesterday, and then, I couldn't figure out why it had been so long. This place is amazing in terms of food quality! I don't think you'll find better for this price point. The chicken has substance to it and not just over-breaded and dried out like those other Asian places. There's plenty of space and seats, and the service was great too. This is not a nasty buffet, so prepare to order a fresh, delicious plate from an extensive menu!

Regent Hunan

I steered my wife over to this restaurant as a likely take-out location along her return route down Babcock. She swears we had lunch here during Covid, that I did not. remember, and that it was a middling experience. With a couple of $10.99 dinners in the bag we sat down to open styros of fried rice (surprisingly with chunks of chicken) overflowing the container like an overfilled popcorn popper spolling out it's contents and generous portions of Mongolian Beef and Beef / Broccoli. Even more of the entree was hidden under the rice! The double wonton soup for two was a steaming bowl with 4 fat, tasty "Chinese dumplings". Good flavor to the egg rolls, but the spring rolls seemed like just a smaller version of the egg roll rather than the crispy, translucent wraps we were expecting . . . still good. Maxing out on the take out bounty, this was a large enough meal that would lend itself to culinary mitosis. Easily enough for a future meal. Very much redeemed from any previous perceptions, Regents will again definitely have its doorstep darkened by our footsteps.

Food was so delicious my boss told me to go here. The food was all hot and I hate vegetables but they were delicious here super fresh! I was honestly expecting to see a garden in the back!

Pei Wei Asian Kitchen

I recently visited Pei Wei Asian Kitchen at Huebner Oaks in San Antonio, Texas, and I must say, I had a fantastic experience. From the moment we walked into the restaurant, assistant manager Samira Ammouri was incredibly attentive and helpful. Her welcoming and kind demeanor made us feel right at home. We decided to order the sesame chicken lunch plate, along with lettuce wraps, vegetable spring rolls, Thai donuts, and spicy honey wings. The food was prepared quickly and tasted absolutely delicious. Each dish was rich in flavor and left us thoroughly satisfied. Overall, I'm so happy that I made the decision to visit this restaurant. I will definitely encourage others to visit this location so they can have a memorable experience and enjoy the tasty and delicious food.

Second time here. I mixed it up both times traditional deep-fried green beans with grilled pork, pickled chicken feet, and I think it was spicy Taiwanese soup everything was excellent the first time. If you come here don't order the stuff you're comfortable with get out of your box they have really good dishes that are not Mongolian beef or beef and broccoli. This time I had Szechuan style dry fried crispy pork intestine spicy and delicious. It had Szechuan peppers bell peppers celery and either leaks or lemongrass I can't tell the difference with all the chili. And you have to be careful because the red bell peppers will hide the dried chilies and if you catch one it will light you on fire. I also had their steamed wontons in spicy sauce I believe all good yeah thank you they were awesome. Tried the pickled green beans with grill pork since the pickled chicken feet were so good last time. This dish was the only one that I didn't care for. It's not that I didn't like it I just wouldn't order it again. I won't say it was bad it just wasn't to my taste. I've been to all the best rated Chinese places in San Antonio and this one tops them all.

This place is bomb. I used to get the spicy poached fish all the time a few years ago, I’ve finally come back and it’s better than I remember! I almost ordered another one to take home. Huge portions, the restaurant is clean, food is authentic, and nice staff.

I found the this spot online, and it did not disappoint. I feed 6 people for 46 dollars with there family order, you get three meats, rice or noodles or both and I got 5 egg rolls and a wonton soup. Pictures below on our trip to SeaWorld. Teriyaki chicken, pepper steak and orange 🍊 chicken! They also sell 🐟.

Lunch was horrible picked up and the food was cold rangoons were soggy and hard. Lo me in was so greasy and fried rice. Will not be ordering when they first open at 11 because I don't want refried food we threw it all away

Came in for a business lunch, service was great but however the food is ok. I order kung po chicken and got lemon chicken? I was going to complained but the lady was nice and provide me more chicken. Fried rice was good and the egg roll. Over all for a quick stop by it’s ok but if you think it’s more than that then it could be depending on what day you come in.

Service was ok, no complaints, the food though was a whole other experience. Im sorry, but IDK how you mess up General Tso Chicken sauce?!?! Then the staple Sesame Chicken? The flavors were just not there and tasted sour and off. The tea was the only good item to digest. Again, sorry, gave this place a chance, and it was not up to par. Even the rice was not cooked properly. Try at your own risk.
